NEC members from 8 provinces in support of RB – Teta

Share

MMD National Publicity Secretary Ben Tetamashimba has disclosed that members including the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) in the eight provinces have so far resolved to support acting Vice President Rupiah Banda as the party presidential candidate for the forthcoming presidential by-election.

Mr. Tetamashimba said the NEC members from the eight provinces will be the same NEC members that will vote in tomorrow’s NEC elections for the MMD presidential candidate for the imminent by-election.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Tetamashimba said the eight provinces that have endorsed Acting President Rupiah Banda’s candidature are Eastern, Northern, Luapula, Copperbelt, Western, North Western, Southern and Lusaka province.

He said the NEC members have resolved to support Mr. Banda’s candidature in order for him to serve the country from were the late President Mwanawasa had left.

Mr. Tetamashimba said the MMD constitution does not call for a convention to choose a presidential candidate and as such the NEC can only do so if there has been no direction from the provinces to choose a presidential candidate.

He said it is not a political norm to start searching for a candidate to stand on the MMD ticket adding that Mr. Banda is supposed to be an automatic choice.

Mr. Tetamashimba said Mr. Banda qualifies to be an MMD candidate in the forthcoming presidential by-election because he has been in the MMD and NEC as a member since 2005 contrary to assertions that he is not eligible.

He said allowing Mr. Banda to become MMD presidential candidate will also ensure unity both in the party and the nation as he had worked closely with President Mwanawasa as republican vice president.

Mr. Tetamashimba said added that Mr. Banda was the most preferred candidate culminating into his appointment as vice president contrary to insinuations by some named politicians that they are the preferred presidential candidates by the late president.

He also noted that President Mwanawasa had written a letter to vice president Rupiah Banda appointing him as acting president before he left for Egypt where he suffered a stroke and was later evacuated to Paris, France were he subsequently died.

Mr. Tetamashimba said the President’s decision can not therefore be challenged by people who did not challenge it when he was alive and made the decision.

He said the Zambian people expect Mr. Banda to follow the economic footsteps of President Mwanawasa’s footsteps of building the economy and fostering national unity after the presidential by-elections.

The ruling party’s information and publicity chairperson has since called upon MMD members and NEC members to continue rallying behind acting president Rupiah Banda in tomorrow’s elections for the party’s presidential candidate.

Scores of MMD party officials and some cabinet ministers and members of parliament attended the media briefing which was dubbed “should the acting president Rupiah Banda be the MMD Presidential Candidate”.

  1. So how do you trust people who want to run away from the rule of law by claiming there is no money>the mines have been raising 250 billion taxes per quarter.this wasnt budgeted.what he hell is this.Katele,Katele

  2. I hear tomorrow’s Post is saying that Maureen has filed in her nomination for MMD presidency. Can someone kindly confirm please… it will surely be very shameful and a taboo for her and Zambia. It against our norms

  3. If Maureen wishes to contest the elections and goes through the NEC preliminaries, then so be it.
There are numerous widows and widowers in history who have used the sympathy vote to win elections after a close one dies.Bhuttos and Ghandis dynasties, example.

  4. No 4 Roomie..there is no such heading on today’s Post Paper. The main heading is ” Levy Rest In Peace”. There is a picture of Maureen with two solders on both sides. It is not true…..

  5. think the Post are heading for a big disappointment. The voices from within MMD are growing louder and louder now for RB. 40 MPs, all provincial ministers and a good section of the cabinet are endorsing RB. Well the man may not be flamboyant, not young, but it seems he’s popular both within MMD and UNIP and other quarters of the opposition. He’s has held the nation together for over two months and I don’t see why he wouldn’t do so for another 3 years. He is an icon of stability, which is what we need more than anything else in the immediate post LPM era. The intl community and donors are not against him either. Let the man continue!!! I also think he would be the last candidate Sata wishes

  6. If this is true, however, she should swap her wailing chitambala for a helmet as there is ‘Fumbi’ in the campaign trail as King Cobra will not spare her grieving emotions.

  7. #8 do not rob the Zambian people of their worth and heap it on RB. What has he done to keep the nation stable?? weaping in public at a church service. It is the Zambians who are peaceful and that should not be taken away from us. RB is headless chicken.

  8. # 7 Njobvu Kazi… that’t todays paper you are refering to. what about tomorrows? I think thats where she is coming out in open about her candidacy.

    # 9 helmet indeed will be needed on her head

  9. This is what typical backward African politics does to people. Grown men start behaving like childern just to have an office in government, drive around in those fancy cars be the first in line to receive government contracts. We are so poor that this is what it does. People stop reasoning. People like Teta can even go to the extent of supporting a hyena if it promised him a job and contracts

  10. Teta what plans do you have? you are the same big mouth who wanted to choose a nuew leader within MMD and today you are saying people are supporting RP? Has he promised a post?
    Annoying!! Momeni ifi maglass.

  11. If I were Maureen I would wait for the next general elections as doing it now is too early for someone who has lost a husband to start campanying. You need time ti maurn your husband. There are alot of insults to endure in the campaigns. Stay out of it. Your chance will come after all its only 3 years more.

  12. Let RB take over as MMD President. He is capable of winning in the presidential election against the likes of MS and HH. I also want to be rich as soon as he is in the office!!!

  13. Maureen cannot lead the nation. She has typical ‘NAMAYO’ characteristics. UMULOMO sana.

Guys, kwati RB alewina. But leadership yena tapaba palya pachimubili. Now think of his wife, a 28 yr old becoming a first lady. I dont know, but i doubt that lady can handle the responsibilities that go with first ladies. Bushe, temusebanya bwalaisa mwebantu ba pa Zed.

  14. I think Mimi you are right, people here want to praise RB for nothing. Zambians have always been peaceful people and one cannot say RB has done anything to maintain peace in Zambia.

  15. #8 Rb is useless! I dont know even what u’re doing in USA.
It seems U know nothing about Zambia.Rb is can’t rule Zambia. He’ll be just controlled like a robot.

  16. Imwe bantu RB can never be president. Let ba MMD field him and with a good strategy the opposion will carry the day.

MMD, this is the begining of the end for you!!!

  17. In every death there is new life. The leader is among the people we are analysing. Nangu cibungulubwe natucisunkilishe to reach the target; development and better living conditions for our people. Interim RB, with Magande for Finance, the team could not be stronger! 2011 Magande will have matured and HH will have to work harder. Ba mayo ba Maureen mourn your friend. Hilary style might help later. Uncle FTJ, you have already done your part. Ba Oppo sharpen your tools for checks and balances. We have only one beautiful Zambia, guard it jealously. Sit, think, indaba, insaka, pray and vote responsibly like it were your last vote. In this death, there is life!

  18. if i recall very well i think we said the same thing to LPM that he was going to be controlled by chiluba its histry we all know it. i think i would go fo moreen she is capable. a lawyer to handle chiluba vernon katele the rest we all them

  19. The behavior of our acting president is very questionable . on the other hand its difficult to single out a perfect leader from MMD circles. May be a few from the opposition can do .
Even the post newspaper have failed to clearly convince the people who to vote for , they are supporting and campaigning for the unknown and busy usuing careless statements on sata and HH.Is it because they are not financially stable and fear that they can be someone who will not be intrested in post in GRZ Offices. its not a surprise too, they failed to convince the masses of newspaper readers (along the line of rail) who either voted for sata or HH. I know M’embe is thinking about the post revenue

  20. This is all nosense and crazy. It is not true that all are in favour of RB. It is Mulongoti who is and he is basically playing on the minds of everyone else. To hell with that. Let them be democratic and elect one to lead them as appointing one will marely lead them to doom, chapwa.
For sure Sata is not fit for now, HH though not fit is maturing at a fast rate, RB being the least. I think Miyanda should come out of inactiveness, he may just be the right chap. NM is proven economically, he is an asset in all plans..

  21. Now i am begining to think levy died the very day he was air lifted to france. Maureen mourned and may be thats why she has been extraordinarily strong as though te mukamfwilwa. remember mike rose up to tell sata that he cant go to paris. bishop mpombo said no to the pictures, mambo said no to revealing the medical bill. so this could have been the time they were embalming him for the rigorous tour the body made around zambia.

  22. RB’s popularity has got everything to do with the proposed increases in allowances for constitutional office bearers. The man saw an opportunity the day levy was taken to france , he did a very good and cunning inside campaign.

  23. Donkey, #28, you are very right. Should we make the mistake of putting him in plot 1, we are yet to see more worse of things than this. Viva transparency! Oh, by the way, the young woman needs more in money terms from the oldman. She is in her prime time now.

  24. #1 Naine ni ndabwa mwandi. These guys just know that there won’t be enough money to plunder if the K400 billion is spent on elections

  25. I hope I am wrong, if RB is adopted, we might as well kiss Zambia goodbye and wait for another generation to come and continue where Levy left off. Like someone said, statehouse is not for people who want to be popular, can someone tell me, what does Banda’s CV look like? Atleast Sata can say he built the Kafue and Kabwe roundabout fountains that time he was Governor, inga ba Rupiah what did he do?

  26. Teta is as usual just making noise, he might be shocked by the outcome today. Teta is one interesting character, he makes ine good move and then makes 3000 bad ones.

  27. Well RB has quite a CV, I am actually quite impressed. Except for his character which cannot be measured by the CV.

  28. One name has not been disclosed by katele, but am wondering who is this person, she might be the widow moreen, wether she is hiding, the truth will come out.And TETAMASHIMBA has never been minister just like chitala,so he is fighting hard to get the ministerial position,he is tired of being deputy minister,as a minister he will be able to open his big mouth widely open for people to smell what is coming from his dirty mouth.

  29. Zambian people…where these not similar sentiments being expressed about LPM when FTJ chose him as successor? Today its a different story – LPM it seems was the best president this country has had so far! If RB wins and I am sure he will, lets see what he will deliver. Don’t forget he was working under someone else so he may not have had a chance to show what he is made of.

And the POST editorial on Wednesday was childish and unnecessarily antagonistic. Please dont tell us what to think….Let the people decide!

  30. I dont think RB can do much as levy did and the biggest problem is that he is sorounded by wrong people like VJ, Cristone and the likes. Its a wrong camp and they should not take zambians like a horse to ride at any time to any directions. let them watch out bcoz we will watch every move they make. i dont think levy can phone cristone to talk about minister’s files. stop cheating we are not children. This is a camp of wolfs waing to pounce and plunder our resources.

  31. FINANCE and National Planning Minister Ng’andu Magande has deferred a US$1.6 million debt, which Zambian Airways owes to National Airports Corporation Limited (NACL) to protect the airline from collapse contrary to the decision by his counterpart at the ministry of Communication and Transport, Dora Siliya.

  32. FINANCE and National Planning Minister, Ng’andu Magande has said that he was chosen by the late President Levy Mwanawasa as his successor with the full knowledge of Cabinet.

  33. The utterances Im reading on this site about how incapbale RB is are reminiscent of what the same people throwing praises at levy’s lifeless body today said of him in 2001. Levy was called all manner of vegetable names during his reign and he died a sad man thinking he had failed his people. The only consolation for him is that Jesus did not die a happier man either. Rest well Levy. May the angels appreciate you more than your countrymen did.

  34. I wish to give credit To FTJ who single handedly picked and imposed LPM on Zambia who became the “greatest leader” leader Zambia has ever had.

  35. #37 thanks for that insight. Now we know that the Post are literally forcing Magande down the MMD’s throats; so he was gonna pay off Zambia Airways’ debt!! Wow! Talk of prudent economic management!! Is it by coincidence that mmembe happens to be shareholder in Zambia airways. How long are we going to be hoodwinked by the Post mwe bantu? Shame. I hope Magande gets -1 votes in today’s MMD election.

  36. There is a problem in MMD. Let us pray to the Almight God so that he can guide the NEC to choose the best leader for MMD who can compete favourably with the opposition. Remember the opposition is still quite because of the mourning period. Come next week this blog will completely change as the campaigns will be on the move.

  37. Times of Zambia is reporting that Magande has intervened in a $1.6m debt that Zambian Airways owes to NACL! I now understand why Mmembe has been supporting Magande like a rabid dog!, his survival depends on it…He sits on the board of the struggling airline owned by the Nchito brothers. It’s clear for all to see that Fred Mmembe is not a saint after all, he’s just a con man like all these jokers but would want to portray otherwise. Task Force on corruption has taken it’s sweet time on the cases just so that they can accumulate more exorbitant legal fees in the process.

  38. How come there are no public or mass prayers for an MMD leader? They need help and that is why they are wishing for no elections. May the country go into prayer and fasting for the next president in MMD and also for the Zambia’s president from the SATA/HH pact.

  39. Because of Fred’s unjustified attacks on RB, he’s just made everyone rally behind the old guy, including myself now! I used to think Magande was a good chap but it appears he’s in bed with the Nchito’s in trying to save their sinking ship. Zambian Airways is a private company & GRZ has no business giving them financial favours. What makes them so special when other better deserving companies have gone under? These boys simply don’t understand the dynamics of running an airline in these difficult times. Mmembe, what goes up must come down, you’re now going to $hit in your pants…

  40. Tata Mitsubish,Vorks Jeep Mwaanga,Toyota Chitala and Camry Tembo will be my new models of auto manufacturing to be set in the tourist capital of Zambia Livingstone.I have sourced about 2 trillion RBs(New zambian currency to come ) to set up a plant.

  41. I now see why membe has been attacking RB.that guy is connected to the Nchitos and Zambian Airways.THe two fellas are in business together and he knows that the ariline mighty not survive when RB pulls through as President.Mwanawasa mayhis soul rest in peace made the nchitos stinking rich and everyone knows that there was something fishy about the mwanawasa and nchito alliance.

  42. About the Zambian Airways, its important for our economy to have own airline, hence saving it as other countries like RSA, US, etc are doing. This will provide the govt. a stake in future and turn this into the national carrier, as starting from scratch in impossible.Secondly, fellow Zambians lets be very careful, look who’s back VJ, chitala, etc.Spot the difference between all these crooks … yes you are right “None”.They were all fired by Levy, so whatever they are up to, is the opposite to Levy’s ideals.I’m sorry RB will be a “Lame-duck”.These guys are too powerful in MMD.He will do what they say. They have recruited a parrot in TETA.I guess we are back to the old MMD.

  43. #10 can you please stop reffering RB to a headless chicken. He is old enough to someone of the same age in your family, maybe even your father or granpa. Maybe he might even be older that your granpa. Headless chicken you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  44. Miyoba #51, if GRZ had to intervene in every struggling private company, we’d have utter chaos! We let our very own QZ (state owned) go down the drain when it infact had more assets & potential than this little airline? So why the special treatment? If you read the Post editorials for the past 2wks, they have been the most unethical & biased crap I’ve ever read in my whole life! I used to hold Mmembe in very high esteem but he’s now exposed himself as a typical conman who grown too big headed for his own good. How dare he calls RB a nobody, when RB was doing fine in business even before LPM appointed him. Lesson for all-humility is very important in life, otherwise your ending will be harsh

  45. MWEBANTU MWE, LETS ALLOW SATA TO RULE US…BA RB HAS GOT NO AGENDA FOR THE NATION….VIVA SATA ala yapambale uno muku..

  46. so it was even during kafupi’s third term bid!Teta, you are a nyandule and insensitive man…wanya ….there’s no way you tell Maureen to continue producing more food on the farms…what kind of language is that?ulindoshi wecipuba iwe!

  47. # 55. What would you do? You are still crying over QZ thats long time dead. The special treatment is coz this is the only Zambian company offering flights to Zambia from big cties like JHB.Of corse, u canot save every1.If I were GRZ I would buy stake in this deal and own at least 25%, just to have say in this sector. You cannot claim to be a tourism destination without a national carrier.I will not speak for Mmembe coz I do not even read most of the post news, they need subscription for zed news which I feel is a raw deal. The page looks mediocre then they want money for its viewing.RB will win, make no mistake, and the old crooks will be back coz he will owe them after campaigning for him

  48. I want to agree with you #55. Mmembe used to be a nice guy most people admired – even elderly ones. But now it looks like his money has started to insult him and feels he can write any rubbish about anyone. He should have respect for RB as an elderly man. RB is as old as Mmembe’s granpa and I don’t think he talks to his granpa in the manner reffering him (RB) as a Judas Iscariot of our time. Shame on you my friend. Money is not everything. Respect and you will be respected, honour and you will be honoured…

  49. Its indeed very sad to see what is happening after the death of the great leader . Of all the pipo now we are seing finished pipo like Lt Gen Tembo, Roger Chongwe and VJ what a shame for these job seekers . Am not suppoting any one from MMD but the idea of the these three in the neighbourhood sends me shivers and hate

  50. Apparently four candidates intend to withdraw because they’ve developed cold feet. We know they’ve been bullyed out of the race. Does anyone know who these four cowards are?

  51. ZED PIPO DID YOU LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW OF THE PILOT WHO BROT THE REMAINS OF LEVY. HE SAID AND I QUOTE ‘I WAS RECALLED FROM LEAVE LAST WEEK AND GIVEN THE TASK OF FLYING THE BODY LATE ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT. MEANING RB LIED . THE BODY CAME ON SATURDAY AND THIS PILOT SAID WAS GIVEN TASK LAST WEEK FROM LEAVE . PIPO GOT THE LOGIC

  52. THE LOGIC IS THAT LEVY DIED WAY BACK THE GOVERNMENT WAS JUST TRYING TO PUT THINGS IN PLACE B4 ANNOUNCING TO THE PUBLIC THAT HE HAD DIED COZ IF RB ANNOUNCED ON TUESDAY AT 1300HRS AND THE BODY CAME ON SATURDAY THE DAY THE PILOT SAID I WAS GIVEN THE TASK LAST WEEK . PIPO ARE YOU NOT SEING SOMETHING FISHY HERE

  53. Mwanawasa the extraordinary is dead. Now us the ordinary human-beings are back on top, and now let the DOGS rule!! We are back to ANIMAL FARM. It’s cheating and chewing time! Plunder njikata!! It just so proves the saying that: ‘LEADERS ARE BORN’.

  54. Nomore Investments to zambia, coz you zambians you are childish and your claim of democracy will ruin your country and youR petty jealousies and laziness will ever hinder YOU into progression.you ae only ruled by self confessed drug dealers vorks Jeep Mwaanga,Tata Mitsubishi Loud speaker, tired lieutenant Canaopy Tembo.YOU WILL EVER REGRET.yOUR CHILDREN WILL EVER LANGUISH IN POVERTY.

  55. HH FOR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT AND REPRESENTS UOR GENERATION,PLEASE YOUTH WE VOTE HH FOR BETTRE CHANGE.HH NAAWINA KALEE.PAKUBOKO BANEE.VOTE HH VOTE HH,VIVA HH.WEARE WITH YOU.

  56. The issue is who in MMD? Can Magande parade his teeth to whole Zambia in 61 days? At least RB has already toured three quarters of Zambia under the late. In other words, choose what you have and feel is the best.
You can only dream of T-Bone when you have mulembwe and K 3,000.00 in your pocket. That is the scenario MMD is in.
RB, you are a better evil.

  57. HH FOR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT AND REPRESENTS OUR GENERATION,PLEASE YOUTH WE VOTE HH FOR BETTRE CHANGE.HH NAAWINA KALEE.PAKUBOKO BANEE.VOTE HH VOTE HH,VIVA HH.WE ARE WITH YOU.VOTE HH AND UPND.

  58. RB was appointed by the late president not by the people. Peeps, does anyone in MMD seem like they are on top of their game? they acually seem like they dont even have game! teta is still boot licking, does it make sense.

I beleive these criminals are strategically appointing RB, its not in good faith. the same way Chilba appointed the late Mwanawasa. what goes around comes around, watch the drama unfold

  59. .. and by the way we dont a rats ass who you endorse, tell it to the hand, MMD has proved they have no leadeship qualities, no organisational skills, no vision, no future. and for those thinking..oh but the nation has improved, where, how, when???? ..what percentage of zambians live in abject poverty, isnt it still 70%

and they want to field a guy from UNIP who served way back, no disrespect but the man is tired. when did he prove to have the skills in this short tenure as VP? let them field him and weep like the lost sheep they are

  60. If RB is as popular as his Campaign team claim. Then why are they scared of exercising democratic exercise to allow NEC members to vote for their preffered candidate.
This politics of announcing endorsements from groups is a bad presidency. Let idividual politician endorse their preffered candidate than proclaim provincial endorsements which are most time subjeccted to threats and corruption.
And please leave the chiefs from political circus. We are already seing a poor mwanachingwala embarrasing himself.
Let the better candidate win and then the MMD will be more united and attract adimiration from the Nation which has come to cherish democracy and hate for corruption.

  61. Which of the dotas accompanied LPM to egypt? is it chipo or the small one?Ifs its chipo, then she is useless, i thot chipo was very young but if she misses school and some chap says govt has to take care of LPM’s children educationwise, not on my money.

  62. HH is the man we should vote for…all those supporting RB have no points..lokk at the political vultures supporting him..they all have no substance…VJ, MULONGOTI, TETA etc…just check their backgrounds..what have they done for this country… lets al rally behind the youthful HH…PLEASE LETS DEBATE OBJECTIVELY AND THINK WISELY…DONT MENTION ANY WORD LIKE TRIBE unless you are a tribalist

  63. CHE GUEVARA.. Mwanawasa’c children will never fall short of cash. Mwanawasa was good investor even before he became president. So you dhould not worry too much about extras except from the pension which you will pay as stipulated in the constitution.
Levy decalred over 20billion assets in 2006.
Maureen has her own investemnet too and she can earn alot of money from her profession as a lawyer or by doing her husband’s memos..
The options are many… But i doubt, Levy’schildren will be in same situation like those of KAFUPI.

  64. Imwe guys on the ground, has the NEC meeting gone ahead as proposed? Pls keep us informed as soon as they announce their pick. What’s this nonsense we hear of FJT trying to sneak in?! I hope it’s not true coz that little man’s 10 yr rule was Zambia’s greatest disaster!!!

  65. HH has sat on several boards..he is a decision maker..well educated and articulate just like most people subscribing to this post…NOW what disturbs my logical thinking is why any educated and well informed Zambian especially the youth can support RB. UNITY UNITY What Unity…we are already united..KK did his homework…Just think about this..if you had a company and the following applied for the position of running the company HH,SATA,MULONGOTI,TETA,VJ,RB…who would you pick..or maibe politics are for the incompetent..Guys tamukumbwa when you see DMITRY MEDYEDEV,GORDON BROWN,the incoming OBAMA kubanenu…imwe mu zambia u just want vultures…TOO SAAAAAAAD

  66. Dr Rajani Mattani of Finance Bank & Proffesional insurance has promised 40 million kwacha cash to each National Executive Committee (NEC) member of the MMD. This is what has inconvenienced Katele who has not declared interest in any candidate so far. The Post knows about the 40 million but as expected because the presence of Maureen’s relative- Amos Mapulanga it has decided to keep quiet.

  67. Mmembe has rili rediculed himself.over the years he has potrayed chiluba as
A demon, wich i disagre to nw he has turned to Rb,al ths is personal.wnda why he has to use hs toilet newspaper to atak them..and my felow zambians, dnt be shocked to c one of th Nchitos standing for presidency mu 2011,lok at hw post idolises them, campaign strategy ka..watch it mwe bantu

  68. the MMD are proving to be useless by fielding RB, are they saying thats the best man for the job or to avoid job losses or what?

i stoped reading the post a long time ago coz i realised it was all bul***t. I feel u #86, we must review the so called digging deeper storis that were published in the past and present. those nchitos are rolling in money obtained through criminal activities – white collar crime.. and watch them rake it in, we always wait too long before we react..why????

  69. Membe is into Zambian Airways. The US$1.6m that ZA owes Nacl and whose repayment Magande has rescheduled is what is earning him support from the post. That is daylight robbery.

  70. Imwe Ba Miyoba #51 It is not logical to sustain a private owned airline by the state. Those airlines in RSA & US are part of governments.Your reasoning is ill placed. That issue with Zambian Airways is pure corruption. Wake up!

  71. Having foresight is some times taken to be witchcraft. Had the people in the MMD given Ba Levy (MHSRIEP) proper advice and asked him not to contest the second term on medical grounds he would probably still be alive and the K400 billion problem would not be in our midst. Lets be wise and ensure that the K400 billion is utilised properly (We would have sorted out the Load Shadings but alas that was not God’s Plan). To be Honest none of the people vying for MMD Presidency have the Integrity and honesty displayed by Ba Levy. Am not into politics as such but people I have seen in Zambia who may much Ba Levy’s Level of integrity are outside the MMD such as BR. Gen. Godffrey Miyanda and Rodger

  72. it seems like teta is eyeing the position of vice president if RB wins. But they have to stand together, why is katele also blurbing about something else?.Sury LPM has left them orphans.they are all afraid of SATA.Where are all those ministers who used to talk when H.E.LPM was alive.Guys by the way where’s Mpombo?

  73. Am not into politics as such but people I have seen in Zambia who may much Ba Levy’s Level of integrity are outside the MMD such as BR. Gen. Godffrey Miyanda and Rodger Chongwe but the may not have the same wisdom as Ba levy. Please lets analyse each one of them aspiring for the highest office in the land and determine what the have to offer for the betterment of our nation not politicians pockets. I could be wrong

  74. # 89. Read and understand me first, before u yap so loud.I said if a company needs help , GRZ can do that.RSA helps SAA coz its a parastatal. Now, Zed has no national carrier, I see this a an opportunity to buy stake and own this airline.Don’t u think it will be cheaper that way? GRZ gets 25% of this airline and make it the national carrier.I see it more from business perspective than political as you are.We need a national carrier if we are serious about tourism or let BA operate in ur country. They are after the money period. The day u start making noise they cut the route.QZ is dead longtime, stop crying for spelt milk, FTJ’s deeds are still hurting us.

  75. RB-47
    Magande-11
    Ronnie-1
    Kopalande-1

The rest could not even vote for themselves. Lets see what follows am typing this email form Mulungushi grounds

  76. MMD doomed because RB failed to campaign for chimumbwa in a by-election in chingola for that chap we whacked ask him he was seen of at the airport by youngsters those king cobra refered to as amabuta mputi.

  77. #96 what a moron you are, claiming that you are at Mulungushi forgetting to see the flag neer to your name, contradicting you claimed location, you wont cheat no more, I will be watching all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
