A Chinese miner at the embattled Colum Coal mine in Sinazongwe has been killed by Zambian miners in a riot while another one is battling for his life in Mamba hospital.

ZANIS’s Mike Munkombwe Reports that The miners rioted on Saturday to protest against delays by management to implement the newly revised minimum wage.

Southern province deputy Police Commissioner Fred Mutondo has confirmed the killing of the Chinese national BUT could not give further details on the matter.

And Sinazongwe district commissioner Dodo Sindaza and Sinazongwe area member of parliament Richwell Siamunene have also confirmed the killing in separate interviews.

Mr Sindaza has identified the deceased as Wu Shengzai aged, 50.

The deceased died on the spot after being hit by a trolley that was pushed towards him by the rioting miners as he ran away into the underground where he wanted to seek refuge.

The miners who refused to work had mobilized themselves and started beating up fellow miners found working.[pullquote]Mr Lungu said that  there will be no sacred cows in enforcing the law and appealed for maximum restraint from workers and employers as government re-visits issues surrounding the revised minimum wage[/pullquote].

And Home Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu has said that Zambian miners that have killed a Chinese national at the Collumn Coal Mine in Sinazongwe will be prosecuted.

Mr Lungu said that there will be no sacred cows in enforcing the law and appealed for maximum restraint from workers and employers as government re-visits issues surrounding the revised minimum wage. Mr Lungu was speaking in an interview with ZNBC news in LUSAKA on yesterday.

Meanwhile, Labour Minister Fackson Shamenda has called for a thorough investigation into the matter saying the murder is unfortunate and regrettable. Mr Shamenda has wondered why the embattled Collumn Coal mine continues to be a place of tension between Zambian workers and Chinese investors.

  1. what every your reason no one as a right to take away another person life , the PFover promised lets see how they’ll solve this problem

  2. We have sunk so low totally forgetting to respect life…this is a lesson to all stakeholders; an hungry man is a messed up brother in the head…we need govt to show leadership here…

  3. I know Zambians do not like foreigners but this is ridiculous, the chinese are the reason the Zambian government has been dowing well

It started with my country of my fiance’s citizenship gave Zambia independence and they left after Zambians showed that they are not worthy and less appreciative of the British aid, and now they are attacking the Chinese.

The chinese must be respected and adored without them Zambia is finished, not that it got started any way because It is one of the worst countries I have been to in the last 10 years and being my own country it takes nothing away from the fast that, most Zambians are ignorant

Collectively Zambians are nice people, but individually, they are ignorant

    Thanks

    • uhmmmmmmmmmm………ati “the chinese are the reason Zambian goverment is dowing well”…………. ubukopo!!

A grade 5 in chibolya has more brains than you. For your own info the ‘chinks’ in china are slaughtering black africans like chickens ‘Quangdong’ and no one give a damn … africans are turning to violence because they are simply fade up with being taken for fools..

now go suck on that wrinkled white worm under the scottish skirt you call a penis

  4. It is like people claiming that Obama is Kenyan, he’s not!

Similar Zambia claiming me, is a rehotorical question I have never got my head around? I did my primary school there but my MBA, CIMA , ACCA and now PHD soon, are all being done by the British lecturers , so you could argue that I am British, couplesd with the faxct that I am marrying a Scottish man.

A lot of double standards, apart from my parents and nostalgia, I dot miss Zambia at all. The traditional food I was subjected to when I was young, leaves me wondering if my internal organs have been damaged, the likes of Impwa, srange mushroom, ifishimu ans many others, those food will not pass the health certificates to be allowe o be fed to the British public

glad I am in the right place now

    Thanks, but no thanks Zambia

    • Mushota, you don’t have to go that rout as a learned person you claim. At the basic you are no good than an educated person. No wonder there can be educated fools. How can you insult the traditions of your country of origin. What bones to chew do you have with Zambia for you to start condemning even the food that people eat? It seems you can be a learned person and yet daft.Who cares if you stay in Scotland. Just keep what you know to yourself. You have no benefit to Zambia, if you want you can stop even posting rubbish messages on this site, if you mean to insult, belittle the people, their traditions and the nation. Don’t tell me Scotland exists without its traditions. You laugh at impwa what different is impwa from papers you get in supper markets there?

    • Pliz i think you are suffering from inferiority complex mudala wake up this is life.If a zambian teacher never taught you well then the ACCA ,MBA or CIMA you are boasting about is just nothing. Then learn to sow where you till.Britons worked hard for there nation for it to be where you are but the problem with you Zambians you want to go and boast about other people’s labour.Shame on you because whether you like it or not Zambian blood flows through you body and the sooner you realise the better.A crocodile will always be a crocodile wether in river nile or Zambezi river so grow up because as it stands you a foreigner eating other peoples weathy.

    • Mushota respect our culture, wht is the problem with u?gting married 2 a scotish man make u big headed o wht ever level of education mind the way u talk ok.

    • “It started with my country of my fiance’s citizenship gave Zambia independence and they left after Zambians showed that they are not worthy and less appreciative of the British aid, and now they are attacking the Chinese…”
i had to laugh at this post i couldnt believe my eyes-ba mushota clearly education is not knowledge -zambia doesnt need u-i dont know what kind of inferiority complex u suffer from but please while u are reading those kaya mba, cima what not-grab a book and read on southern african history, post colonial theory etc-please educate urself so that u dont seem ridiculous!even going to the extent of insulting the food hahaha i pity u-and FYI zambia has alot of educated people now-we will build our country-so keep ur phd my dear-it will not serve anyone well

    • Mushota you seem to suffer from western hypocrisy syndrome. FYI the foods you have mentioned are high in nutrition. Anyway i will not mention more it seems your level of stupidity is beyond. Its Zambians like you when you are sent out there that you make us look like Monkeys. I will leave you with this though: We eat ifishimu and the french eat frogs and snails. so whose health bar? The British eat Clams.

    • Mushota is a troll. Please dont pay attention to him. A PhD holder should be able to spell…and write “PhD” properly.

    • Atesa,am embrassed to read this, and all i can say is a Big pity on,educated fool, anyway like the saying goes,Wisdom is better than intelligence.

    • A lot of double standards, apart from my parents and nostalgia, I dot miss Zambia at all.

      BA Mushota ..
Am sorry but if you in a nostalgic state, am afraid then you do miss home.

So much for trying to sound educated huh lol.
But I know what you do, you just try to get attention.
am sure you love all the attention, so if you are promoting your name to start say your own blog or something then I must hand it to you. That is smart but silly that it’s on your country’s expense tsk tsk tsk *shaking head*

    • Mushota, u r not in heaven. So be careful how u speak about Zambia. U dont own your life mind u. U r just one of those suckers and no one needs any of your food. We are self sufficient back home here in Zambia. Ulimututu. What is Scotish? Angel or what? Ask your yourself or u r the worst igrant chap ever on heaven. White or black woman, they all have the same thing u crave for. So, leaen to listen more and speak less mwaiche!

      Bamudala! lusaka.

    • Mulekwata umuchinshi neko mwafuma ba mushota, u were not born here as an accident, its for a purpose. You are where you are for a purpose as they Bible tells us in the story of Ester if you will not serve and save zambia God will raise some one to do it.

    • Just wondering if you are so anti-zambia why are you spending time reading this news and the Lusaka Times, why are you not using your time reading the Wall Street Times or the UK papers ? or studying for your PhD, most people I know who are studying have very little time on their hands to spend reading the Luska Times, especially if they are not interetested in Zambia or their heritage. Sounds to me like you are full of “hot air”

  5. Let justice prevail. One wonders where we are headed. This behaviour is unZambia as it sinks us so low to the level of the Congolese who torched a Zambian truck driver. May the soul of the departed one rest in peace. Let this also be a lesson to our leaders that it is wisdom to promise less than you can deliver and deliver more than you promise. Really sad development.

  6. iye mayo!!isn’t this the same mine where chinese nationals shot at workers protesting in the previous year?u see where these careless pronuncements without proper instruments to implement are taking us?i would like to hear how govt will react to this!but its shameful-since when did zambians not respect life?-eish!once we get used to seeing blood then its over-its like giving a dog raw meat!lets respect life-lets not condone lawlessness-we have enough problems as it is-lets not invite curses on ourselves-shame ,shame ,shame!

  7. Justice was denied when the chinese shot the miners a year or two ago, obviously tensions have continued to run high.We will see how the courts handle this one.Remember the chinese were acquitted. The PF government is failing to run the country as clearly seen day in day out.

    • there was also the bilgrim disaster (not sure of spelling) where zambians died in tha accident caused by explosives-alot of stuff swept under the carpet-i only hope this government will address this situation because they made the careless pronouncement regarding minimum wage-we’l wait and see.

  8. This is very sad, dying in a foreign land will never have any better feelings for any one despite the cause of death. Now we are faced with a riotious behaviour to me which appear to be management of the country caused. Its my opinion, had the minimum wage not been in that way, the riot would not have arised. I wonder where this country is heading to, wait for the next 6 months…

  9. Pay our people decent salaries, i have no kind words to people who oppress the poor, and let me sound this warning to police i don’t want to hear that you have arrested our people. This is a wake up call to all investors to respect mankind.
You can not be paying workers peanuts and ride on our humility.

  10. Not long ago Zambians insulted all Congolese because of what happened when the Zambian truck driver killed two Congolese then was burnt to death. Zambians attacked innocent Congolese trading at Soweto and City market openly and took away their goods. The killing of the innocent Chinese is it not barbaric? Do you want the Chinese people in China to pounce on Zambians living in China as we did to Congolese here? The Zambian truck driver killed two people and after that he was burnt but this Chinese did nothing. ZAMBIANS HATE FOREIGNERS TOO MUCH.

    • Michel….when was the last time you visited Zambia? Have you ever been to Congo or Rwanda. Zambians are very welcoming to foreigners and will go the extra mile to assist foreigners than their country folk. Go visit Congo or Rwanda and judge for yourself?

  11. This “minimum wage” should be suspended immediately before more damage is done in the country. What more harm does PF want to see before realizing that they made a mistake?

  12. but you guys mwalifwa imitwe !
is it long ago when these
people shot @ my zambian ?
and how far is that same case?

i’ll see how you’ll prosecute this one!

  13. Nushota, If it is not insanity then you you have serious identity crisis.
I would urge you not to comment on traditional Zambian foods if you have no scientific basis or argument.
If those foods were not edible, tather poisonous, youwould not have lived to tell the tale.
My dear, ignorant as zambias might be according to you, at least they had the skill and knowledge of food processing to ensure that the foods are not harmful. Remember, you can not alianate yourself from Zambians the fact that you were born from them. so goes a saying a snake bears a snake, or dog also does otherwise,
Get up and accept that you are ignorant yourself !

  14. Bravo bravo Zambian miner. This is the same china man who shot the workers in the time of RB and got aquited. Bravo bravo.

  15. More realignments. This is how our president solves problems. Tacles symptoms forgetting the cause. The blood of the comrade from China is on Hon. Shamenda’s hands. What a fallacy. Mother Zambia for now no one will redeem you. You are consigned to perpetual abuse by the PF government. The opposition no strategy to form next GRZ. Bogged down on trivialities and looking like to be opposition in perpetuity. Opposition you are the only hope come 2016 please wake up from the slumber. Use these PF blunders to sway the people your way and ofcourse outline your programs when in government. Zambians are more clever now, promises wont just do. Show the what, how and when then maybe you may win their hearts

  16. Mr. Shamenda,Who Told You That This Is Murder? How Do You Determine This Before The Matter Has Been Investigated, Let Alone Gone To Court No Wonder You Deported The Rwandan Priest Without Trial.

Note: Sorry For Caps In Each Word. Tech Gone Wrong Here.

  17. HH and Nevers Mumba start warming up for 2016 because one of you will be the next republican president. God is punishing Zambians for dancing the whole night for Sata when he was elected. We’ve never danced for God like we did for a man. A man despite his good will is always limited. Let ask for forgiveness and the lord will have mercy on us.

  18. Why are the Chinese still in Mamba?? They warned them by PF, the party in just implementing its manifesto (sata-nic verses) on the Chinese investors.
Am calling for economical sanctions on Zambia, what is happening is worse than Zimbabwe’s land dispute.

  19. am shocked first of the news,we need not to take any person over the minimum wage, lets get real and now @ mushota stop talking about zambia if you have become scotish who cares about your ass, more over even your feceas cant count in our sewarages so keep “blowjob” to that scotish till he realises that he is making a grave mistake of loving a slat like you

  20. SHAMENDA TAKES THE BLAME. In other countries, he would have resigned. Knowing him, he cant go to starve in shibuyunji

  21. This is what Kaunda,s adivise to sata is doing. Investors are being killed, priests are being deported and spies have been offloaded into churches. Typical of Kaunda

    • How does the oldman come into the picture? Do you have any proof/evidence? It’s better to keep quiet if you have nothing to say, you have nothing to lose but everything else to win.

  22. These Chinese guys at this mine shop a number of Zambian workers last year. What goes round come round. Sorry, the shooting by the miners killed you BUT its also a lesson to employers that use lethal weapons, never irritate the  the guys you hit hard last time. They may over defend themselves later!

  23. Tit for tat. I think people are just taking the law in their hands! This is the same place where Zambians were shot dead apparently in similar circumstances! But its all wrong to kill this way. Both cases should be expedited quickly, but why has the case of the killer chinese not been concluded yet? How are you going to punish culprits in the new case when you failed to punish culprits in the former case? interestingly sad events.

  24. Things seems to be running out of control in mother land. Hope there is still remaining sense in the ‘powers that be’ to calmly and genuinely respond to unfolding events in the country

  25. #27 I feel sorry for you people who call Zambia has your Mother. Can you imagine a mother who is so much abused and her children ending lives of visitors over minimum wages? Imagine Sata was your father what a tormentated life experience…

  26. @Mushota #5, going by your usual mumbling, the only internal organ you need to worry about is the one to which your fiance is tethered.

  27. The industrial fracas that has spontaneously ensued is completely avoidable had govt provided leadership and proper guidelines on the implementation of the upwardly revised minimum wage.
A phased plan over a period of three months would have helped employers make smooth adjustments, calmed workers and created industrial harmony instead of govt making pronouncements that it was law to be effected immediate, exciting the workers demanding that their wages be increased forthwith or else…..the chaos we are witnessing that has regrettably resulted in loss of life now.
Govt must learn to do things right-first-time, no experiments or second-guessing in managing our national affairs.
Govt must be held accountable for poorly handling this highly volatile and emotive wage issue.

  28. The Government should have thought through the minimum wage policy. The shambles will continue and many more lives are likely to be lost.

  29. This is shamenda’s fault.
Desperation and unthinkable pronouncements by the government.
P.F was not ready to rule. Yes MMD messed up things and change was needed but not this kind of change. If there was no suitable replacement we should have waited for another leader to emerge before we make change.
P.F is ruling by mouth and very disconnected from the reality of governance.

  30. The biggest mistake we made was to vote for a retired cobra. All we need is young and energetic blood. I totally agree with you #31 all what was required was for the Govt to give a timesclale of say a year during which employers were going to make adjustments to their budgets. Now this is going to trigger rise in unemployment which theyare trying to reduce.
We have a govt in office with full of day dreamers / chancers. They are runing the country by trial and error. Do these guys have any idea about forward planning?

  31. That’s what the Chinese get for shooting our miners.

I have zero sympathy. If you treat people like animals, they will behave like animals. Chinese brought this on themselves.

    • every country have bad people and good people . u don’t know him how to say this one is a bad guy? and i feeling u are that one who is close eyes and follow the bad people.u have zero sympathy means u are animal.>:p

  32. YAH! THOROUGHLY, INVESTIGATE THOSE KILLERS AND PROSECUTE THEM. NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO TAKE ANOTHER PERSON’S LIFE. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE FRIENDS AND RELATIVE OF THE DECEASED AND THE ONE INJURED AND FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE IN HOSPITAL. THE WORKERS ACTED BARBARICALLY. THE LAW MUST TAKE IT’S COURSE ON PERPETRATORS.

  33. #38 ULIMBWA SANA. WHAT IS THIS GOT TO DO WITH SATA. IN FACT SATA IS MAKING THING BETTER FOR ALL THE CITIZENS. DID SATA TELL THOSE MINERS TO START BEATING UP FELLOW WORKERS.

  34. I think the president must come out and address these serious issues that are piling up. The president’s silence has become a big worry. Why hasn’t he addressed a single press conference since assuming the presidency nearly a year ago? Is he scared of searching questions from the press over the dubious activities and utterances of his out of control ministers?

  35. It is like people claiming that Obama is Kenyan, he’s not!

Similar Zambia claiming me, is a rehotorical question I have never got my head around? I did my primary school there but my MBA, CIMA , ACCA and now PHD soon, are all being done by the British lecturers”.mushota you are an embarrassment to yourself,by denying your identity by the who cares if you are a Zambian or the equation is Zero whether British , Scottish ,whatever you may wish to call yourself, with such poor spellings what doctorate are you doing?

  36. @ Mushota so sorry for you to forget where you have come from, surely insulting our zambian food, you are an *****.

  37. @35. Seems as since you voluntarily cut your umblical with the land of your ancestors, the best thing is to keep quite and enjoy it. But seems again though you blatantly show such hatred, you nonetheless are nostalgic. Contradictions galore!

  38. I don’t understand. Mr. Shamenda has insisted that Government “consulted widely” on the minimum wage so how can this possibly happen?

Maybe he didn’t actually consult, or only talked to yes men.

  39. Now they have killed their only employer, i wonder who is going to give them even the little that they get at the moment.
The fact that it takes the Chinese all the way from chine to come and mine coal shows how poor our country is, out of the 13 million people there is no one who has the money to mine this coal, its a big SHAME and we should treat such people who travel all the way to come and mine and pay our workers something no matter our small coz our foolishness has led us to this, we have failed to manage our own country and always depending on foreigners. As the saying goes a piece of bread is batter than nothing coz our government can not give you even that nothing, so my poor friends have bitten the little finger that feeds them.

  40. Do not blame the government, last year Chinese men shot people at Maamba mine and no action was taken. But I do not support this riotous behaviour, let them face the law.

  41. @ #24 general mushala- My friend what on earth does this have to do with Kaunda? Leave the old man out of this, he is busy doing his charity work and is not interested in getting involved in this mess. Its all the ministrys fault for not planning. The minimun wage should have been implemented gradually or at least businesses given 6months to prepare for it not just implement it with immediate effect.

  42. Interesting Events unfolding:-this is a reaction when pipo have been downtrodden, in the first case Justice has never been known at this Mine and secondly workers have been abused for too long. Death will not be accepted unless imposed as judgement in courts of law, lets have fair situations in work places the Employer and Employee need to exist in harmony as they are all stakeholders. Chines and Indians in Zambia are currently leading in mistreating workers and these are all time bombs. The PF gvmt inherited a lot of challenges and am happy with their courage in dealing with these issues. Soon Zambia will be a good place for all and Law of the Land will be respected by all poor or Rich. Viva PF! we have 9yrs to go as 2016 is already ours.

  43. Ba Mushota kwena inferiority complex too much ichaileniko. Squid, Prawns, Sushi whatever fyalikwata abene nebena nitambi. Even us Ifishimu, Chapatwa whatever ni ntambi. Am sure you such a bore even with your fiance you got nothing to Share about your Childhood. Have a Life Gal!

  44. Shamenda must resign as labour minister for causing this problem.Several stakeholders told him to reverse his decision on the minimum wage for further consultations but he arrongantly brushed them aside. Now the workers he claims to represent have become murderers;Shamenda must go!

  45. Why you f”” always blaming.the chines and indians did you ever run companies and see the crap of these so called employees behave stealing is the order of the day small time and big inside job thefts they is no company or shop per zed who has not been a victim of theft it goes to show how it is to difficult to do business in zed with all this hazards by these so called employee so plse spare me the crap

  46. 48 God Bless Our Peaceful country. Investors are flocking into our country taking advantage our situation. We are appreciate they are giving us bread but we are making billions of money for them through our hard work and cheapest labour therefore they should give us good wages/treatment. Do you guys know how hard and risky it is to be a miner? Its not fanny, miners should be treated better in return coz they live by day not knowing whether they are coming back home to their families each and every day they go to work. I am sorry for the killings for both Zambia and China and hope our President Sata immediately do something to stop this a.s.a.p. Tell the China that a miner is a bad animal when he gets upset so treat it well and it will do same, we need investors but they also need us.

    • if u have a gun but u are alone at somewhere, and this time have 50 people close to u and looks like want kill u,what can u do??waiting for die??

  47. :(( The minimum wage in ShenZhen which is the richest city in China is 1.2 million Kwacha something including allowance.

  48. “Mr Lungu said that there will be no sacred cows………and appealed for maximum restraint from workers and employers as GOVERNMENT RE-VISITS ISSUES SURROUNDING THE REVISED MINIMUM WAGE……”.
Re-visit the minimum wage did he say? Does that mean freezing the Statutory Instrument then? Does that also mean freezing the culprit, Hon Shamenda?

  49. Shamenda and the Pathetic Failures(PF) you are reaping what you sow-lack of consultation in decision making before making pronouncements

  50. Hey, the actions by the miners is regrettable. We need to find the root cause of the problem at this mine. The mine has come in the limelight in the past when a Government Official cried at having seen the suffering and conditions the miners were subjected to and the shooting of Zambians by Chinese nationals.

We should ask ourselves how far we went in resolving the issue at this mine, secondly who was responsible in ensuring harmony between employees and employers. Was there justice in the previous case? This is what happens in the absence of justice and fairness

Quiet tricky, get to the bottom of this issue it is deep rooted.

  51. I’m not sure the place you are getting your information, however great topic. I needs to spend a while learning much more or figuring out more. Thank you for excellent information I was in search of this information for my mission.

  52. For the first time, Zambians are beginning to show that they must not be taken for granted. Thanks to SATA and PF for the new mentality they are inculcating in Zambians.

Investors humble yourselves in a foreign land as u do in other countries were pipo are more conscious of their rights eg SA.

  53. Abena zambia twaipayakofye umo mwaumfwa ubulanda.kamofye nimwebo baleipaya nokumyoha filya bachitile abena congo. in other countries they even know that they get killed if they do rubish. bonse mwebomfwile ububi pafyobepeye akamuchoncholi mulimbwafye. thats how we shall improve.

  54. this is terrible, where is Zambia heading to? Zimbabwe is still paying the price for mistreating the white farmers, what will happen to you guys who have actually taken away someone’s life? this government is here to do the worst for Zambia.

  55. ba mopani babapela ukula nokuwamya ifintu fimo mu congo if they are to be inverstors, they ran away and came back to zambia.if it was in zambia we gave them such rules and ran away, you could say rubish of the president. all of you saying it was bad are big fools.viva sinazongwe viva miners.efyotulefwaya pa Z.

  56. I noticed that you will be tend to be genuinely serious about these! We are working to generate my own personal web site while you own taught me to with many excellent facts.

  57. Mushota,u are jus confessing wat your mind is telling you,no matter were u go ,who u turn to be,whatever your education,it will never change the fact that you were conceived on Zambian soil,u a full fledged Zambian, even the way u thing and comment proves just how Zambian you are,we call pipo like you BOASTING NA NJALA, i ve never he’d foreigner boasting about there qualifications only a Zambian can do that,I won’t be surprised if the qualifications you are talking about are a figment of your imagination.you ll will never be successful in another mans land,a land u didn’t build but trying to claim, your forefathers were taken abroad as slaves by force, you walked into slavery with your own 2 feet, zambia will always be part of you my friend, nefishimu fyonse fyobe they are your inheritance

  58. I have  never really commented on other people’s opinion with hard feeling like am doing to Ms or Mr , has commented is beyond normality). I have lived here in the State and have dwelt with the African American who still wish they had connection with Africa or they could speak native language , these are people who have been away from for almost 500 years ..what more u who probably been there for less than twenty years. You can claim to be British or Scottish but will a British claim to be Zambian or African , otherwise who will have dual citizenship. By the way, education does not give a person wisdom ..the most stupid i have seen , are those who claim to have PHDs.

  59. I have  never really commented on other people’s opinion with hard feeling like am doing to Ms or Mr Mushota , this is beyond beyond normality. For info  I have lived here in the State longer time maybe than yoself , i have dwelt with the African American who still wish they had connection with Africa or they could speak native languages , these are people who have been away from Africa  for almost 500 years ..what more u who probably been away from Zed for less than twenty years. You can claim to be British or Scottish but will a British claim to be Zambian or African , otherwise those who do will have dual citizenship. By the way, education does not give a person wisdom ..the most stupid pipo  i have ever seen  are those who claim to have PHDs. I went to a best col & University.

  60. Look at your history ….check in your daily …ask your self how you got to the UK , if u would be honest with your self maybe kind in your wording, if not u could be one of the beneficiary of Paratrooper A/C ….. be honest ….

  61. commmenting ON USER NO#5 MUSHOTA,
i think you are foolish indeed, why on earth you should abandoned you country that u were born to ,stop writing Rubbish on line, who cares about your MBA, OR PHD that u have, you are stupid zambian, fake zambian, just because you eat meat every day in england does not make u superior to your mother zambian,i wound expect that you are not attending our zambian independence day celebrations coming up in october.MUSHOTA you are fake, this was about someone killed in mother zambia, not your MBA OR PHD ,PLEASE.

You are just a big fool and am sure u miss zambia. You owe us an apology bcoz u have cursed yoself, u have no regard for parents u fool.

  64. These are the manifestation of the hate I the Zambian watchdog is propagating. I hate the Govenment so much after my man lost the elections. I allow insults on my blog with impunity and no one can do anything about it.

  65. Mushota wat an ***** you are. Please we don’t need fools like you back home. For your information, your so called qualifications are nothing in the Zambia of today, so stop your hallucinations because you’re a nothing. We have noble and proud Zambians in diaspora who are hitching to return home, so who are you to give us headaches? And about marrying a scottish, so wat, is that an achievement? I for one the last thing I will ever do is to marry an European, never. Maybe talk of an Indian or Red Indian not the muzungus noways madam.

  66. @5 MUSHOTA, I DONT THINK YOUR HAVE THOSE QUALIFICATION YOU ARE BEING BRAGADOCIOUS WITH.YOU ARE JUST A DULL BICTH BASED IN UK. CIMA IS A VERY TOUGH COURSE THAT CAN NOT BE CLEARED BY AN EMBECILE LIKE YOU. TELL PEOPLE YOU ARE DOING A PHD IN PROSTITUTION AND THEY WILL UNDERSTAND AND NOT DESCREDIT CIMA, ACCA GET A LIFE YOU POOR GIRL.

  67. GUYS…
…LET THIS BE A RESOUNDING MESSAGE, THE NEXT PORT OF CALL IS LUANSHYA….THEN CHAMBISHI.
THE CHINESE CAN’T EXPECT TO REPLICATE IN GUANZHOU AND SHENZHEN HERE!!!

  68. Mushota is insane and must know that she is not the only one who has been to school and well travelled. Her analysis on this matter is totally out of focus and only demonstrates that she is the one who is not only ignorant but also very dull. I am told she has a Phd but I wonder in what field. Mushota some of us spent years abroad not because we were in a marriage of convinience like you but working for international organisations but nebver insulted felow Zambians who remained at home. I am not defending the people who killed the Chinese but do you recall that some Cinese Managers used a shot gun to shoot innocent workers at the same mine two years ago?

So who is ignorant between Zambians and you?

  69. One more thing you must know Mushota, is that you are not a factor in Zambian issues. With your shallow thinking there is nothing significant you can contribute back here in Zambia. You can go to hell for all we care. You are just a prostitute who is blinded by food and cheap life in Europe. What do have in terms of assets wherever you are?

  70. if u have a gun but u are alone at somewhere, and this time have 50 people close to u and looks like want kill u,what can u do??waiting for die??

  71. This was a ticking bomb and it has now finally exploded! These people have been asking for help from the Labour Ministry and the Government over conditions of service! This death could have been avoided, the blood of this man is on the hands of the govt and no one else!! The government has failed to fight for the rights of these people! SHAME!

  72. our brothers and sisters don’t like to work but would like to be paid lots of money. SAD. That is why we weill ! We are lazy!!

  73. I regret bthe death of the chinese man. Common Zambians let us not sink so low we are welcoming to other nationals, we love people to come to Zambia. This is not the way to go about your grievances over low pay. MHSRIP

  74. As much as I am sadened by the death of this china man, I am also sadened at the low wages these investors give the poor Zambians. The solution is that the employers and employees should respect each other. The chinese guys short 13 miners at the same mine and they were acquited. Let also these guys who threw th trolly be aquited in the spirit of reconciliation. These is what it should be done.

  75. Sad reading that a man got killed, but you reap what you sow..The same Chinese donkeys shot and killed Zambians at Collum mine last year and not a single one went to jail. They were sheltered at the Chinese Embassy until safe passage to China was arranged, the same Chinese have subjected Zambians to appalling work conditions, No safety gear, 10 hour work shifts etc etc.. Sad as it may be, they had it coming. Maybe now they will learn to respect Zambians

  76. THE CHINESE ARE JUST REAPING WHAT THEY SORE LAST YEAR AT THE SAME MINE THEY SHOT AT OUR FELLOW DEFENCELESS ZAMBIANS ALTHOUG AM NOT SUPPORTING WHAT HAPPENED ITS ACTUALLY NEVERS MUMBA AND THE MMD WHO LET THAT NONSENSE TO DEGENERATE INTO THAT LOSS OF LIFE

  77. it is sad, but let us also be respected in our own country! if justice is to prevail, then it should also take into consideration the Zambian Miner who was killed.

  78. I am truly pleased to glance at this website posts which consists of tons of helpful data, thanks for providing these kinds of data.

  79. Finally, you want social and living proof that the machine actually does what it does. You want to hear good and bad things about it to get a better view on what to buy.
