Nkana have been booted of the CAF Confederation Cup by Sewe Sport of Cote d’Ivoire.
Sewe beat Nkana 3-0 to exchange places with Beston Chambeshi side to finish in second and third place.
Goals by Hermann Kouao, Joseph Kameni and Roger Assale in the 10th, 47th and 74th minutes denied Nkana a dream debut semifinal place in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sewe advance to the semifinals tied on nine points with Al Ahly of Egypt who were held to a scoreless home draw by Etoile du Sahel.
Nkana finished their Group B campaign on seven points.
Better luck next time. Focus on the local league now.
Maybe their supporters will stop invading pitches now
Was Mr Fat fatty puff there? The ref would not have survived
Can Zambia now bid for the 2017 Afcon since Libya has become another failed state like Somalia? Tripoli won’t host 2017 in a civil war.
What next for Nkana, 3-0 defeat at home is embarrassing. K
They should have gone with that lumpen Minister called Kambwili.
It is NOT news to us , everyone knew that NKANA would loose infact 3-0 is a very small margin, 5-0 was better. The so called NKANA is full of pride with nothing to show, the team is located in a small town called KITWE wit alot of corruption, diseases, theft, prostitution name them, how can they beat a civilized club called chewe in IVR. Next time please never enter this competition, too embarrassing
Yaba this is so sad mwe.I hoped to see Nkana go all the way.
Kalampa ba fikala!
hardluck boys, there is always a next time.
