Republican Vice President Dr. Guy Scott has dismissed reports that President Michael Sata is dead.

Dr Scott said this in Parliament this morning in response to a question by Monze central Member of Parliament Jack Mwiimbu who wanted to know the President’s health status following US media reports that he was attended to by Doctors in his hotel room.

Dr Scott said the health of President Sata has been entirely normal in New York this morning.

He said following the media reports he was very quick to ascertain the actual situation which revealed that it was not true that the President had died.

“This morning I woke up I received a number of phone calls asking about the President’s health, initially, the first call I receive must have been from the Guardian who probably told Newsweek who told Associated Press who probably picked it from the Zambia Watchdog that the President has passed on. This Mr Speaker is not true and the President is in perfect health,” Dr Scott said.

Dr Scott also told Parliament during the Vice President’s question time that further investigations have also revealed that the President has not even received specialized or emergency medical treatment in New York.

And Dr Scott says a Head of State can be in attendance at the UN General Assembly without necessarily having to speak unless one has something particular that they want to add to the world discourse.

President Sata is in New York for the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, where he was scheduled to speak on Wednesday.

The speculations started swirling Wednesday night, when President Sata failed to show up for his scheduled address at the General Assembly, which this week conducts its annual debate, an opportunity for the U.N.’s 193 members to showcase their policies to the world. President Sata was slated to follow Venezuela’s president, Nicolas Maduro, Wednesday night. The U.N. moderator then received a notice, and after a short hesitation announced, instead, that the next speaker, Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron, would address the council. No alternative time for President Sata’s address was announced.

Earlier this morning Chief Government Spokesperson Joseph Katema told QFM in an interview that Government has not received any information that President Michael Sata has been admitted to a New York hospital as has been reported by US media.

US media organizations that reported President Sata’s hospitalization include VOA, New York Times, Newsweek and Associated Press.

  1. You lie to me once shame on you.You lie to me twice shame on me! This is not Zambia’s first rodeo with heads of states dropping dead abroad. There should be a law against lying under oath in Parliament

    • Wait a minute! There is already a law against lying in parliament. Guy scott needs to be held accountable for these half truths. We have been through this rodeo before.

    • Who would you rather believe a nonentity from Lusaka Times or the Vice president of the Republic of Zambia who happens to have Scottish ancestral and is with due respect White?

      Easy choice for me,

Grow up anyone believing in Propaganda.

You are the same people that believe that mankind came from apes, don’t believe the world believe REALITY

Well done Mr Scott for dispelling this rumor , now craw back in your little holes and apologies anyone that was talking out of shear ignorance, and please do the needful thing and apologies to the masses for duping them and lying them before billions of eyes

      Unforgivable

      Thanks

    • He tried the UK INDIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SOUTH KOREA and now he has tried the USA and still failed.
country men and women is it right to have this man continue as president. is it that the bloody suckers like those paid to comment on online news media like this one have to defend the FALLEN Sata just so they can pocket from the nonsense they write about. how

HOW LONG SHALL WE DEFEND the DEAD, I ASKED….

    • Scott will one day be disappointed with his lies. He knows the truth but always tries to play tricks trying to hang on to his job. I know this won’t go down well but one day the Cobra will come back as a carcass after slithering out of the country to go on a ‘working holiday’. This will happen soon and VERY soon.

    • Just wait and see, some Americans will suspect that he has Ebola. Nobody will want to touch him. This is embarrassing to me.

    • he tried the UK, INDIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SOUTH KOREA, and now the US of A. but how long.

continue defending the man BUT all i ask is HOW LONG SHALL YOU DEFEND THE DEAD.

    • You are there sited with a paid up LAPTOP. always checking for the latest update LUSAKA TIMES, ZWD and ZAMBIA REPORTS. you have over 100 fake names that you use to comment so you can swing the debate to the PF side. when the day is over you knock off and wait for your pay.

the following day you begin again until the 30th day on which you receive your salary.

thanks to sata you are paid

the question is can such a man wish sata to quit?
such is the fate of most these bloggers here. SATA is their daily bread so FEED VAMPIRES FEED.

    • I don’t believe this story that he his dead…

Sata is busy in the hotel sorting out the strategy to develop Zambia that why he did not have time to address the UN

      🙂

    • Only deluded people can believe in what that sensationalist publication the associated press wrote. Sata is surely fine and kicking. He will only die once his maker thinks it is the right time, for now you can hold on to your celebrations and champagne. Long live Sata !!!

    • “This morning I woke up I received a number of phone calls asking about the President’s health, initially, the first call I receive must have been from the Guardian who probably told Newsweek who told Associated Press who probably picked it from the Zambia Watchdog that the President has passed on. This Mr Speaker is not true and the President is in perfect health,” Dr Scott said. This says a lot about the appaling standard of journalist today. Too much incompetence. A rumour which probably started under the influence of marijuana ended up sounding true.

    • The associated press apparently called one of their corresponds based in Zambia for verification. He told them he had no idea and they ended cooking the death story.

    • Guy is answering the wrong question!!!,,,the question not if Sata, is he dead or not,,,,, they questions are,, is Sata dying?? why are there many doctors from over the world in his hotel room???

    • Folks

Jokes aside. Its time to be calm and encourage each other that all will be fine should nature take its course. Lets remain focussed on what the country needs to achieve and take each day as it comes.

Anything is highly possible anytime from now.

    • @suntwe how do you wish for such a sad thing, wish the president well no matter ur political affiliation.Their is a huge cost associated with a seating President’s death..we are still recovering from the late mwanawasa’s funeral expenses..be careful what you hope for if you are patriotic and not just a political cadre.

    • Ba Sata did not go to NY for the UN assembly, he went for treatment at a top hospital, Sloan Kettering to be exact, occupied by top notch oncologists which is a good move!

Why are you all complaining? He will come back stronger to lead Zambia for another 6 years.

    • I m waiting for a statement from ED Lungu and Chikwanda about Sata ‘s health status.
These are the only two I can believe. The rest yapping are all liars.

    • Newsweek has now changed their story:
Updated | A mystery no-show at the United Nations raises speculations about the state of health of Zambia’s President, Michael Sata, who last week emphatically told the Lusaka parliament, “I am not dead.”

The Associated Press reported Friday that the 77-year old president was treated at his hotel by doctors. A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed Friday morning that Sata was treated at his hotel by U.S. State Department doctors and remained there, contradicting earlier reports of his death, including a report by Newsweek, credited to a source who has since said his statement was not definitive. A spokesman at the Zambian mission declined comment when several reporters inquired about Sata’s health.

      On Friday, Zambian vice…

  2. The PF pundits still as gullible as ever! Solomon was right after all: “Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding them like grain with a pestle, you will not remove their folly from them.”

    • @Saulosi: It doesn’t surprise me that you can’t stand Scripture. It is double-edged sword. You do well to continue munching the husks of human wisdom.

    • Scott is just looking foolish. Of course he is not dead but VOA news Africa reports that he was treated by doctors and couldn’t present his policies.no reschedule for his time. Why a veep wants to look foolish on the face of this world?Zambia whats your fucing problem? Can this be a secret now?*****s

Police in New York say Zambian President Michael Sata was treated by State Department doctors in his hotel this week, but was not hospitalized.

No other details on his condition were available.

Sata was in New York for the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, where he was scheduled to speak Wednesday.

He did not deliver the address to the 193-member world body.

The 77-year-old president had not been seen in public in almost three months before he attended the opening of Zambian parliament last week.

At the start of his address in Lusaka, Sata jokingly told the legislative body, “I am not dead.”

Concerns about Sata’s health have been mounting in Zambia since he traveled to Israel for medical…

  3. Yaba. Chikwanda has already given us an insight of the type of man you are Mr. Scott. Desperate and lost so whoever believes what you are saying right now, needs a complete brain transplant. You would do well to keep quiet.

  4. Guy Scott could be the next big casualty to follow Kabimba. He lacks diplomacy.
It is ridiculous of him to drag the Watchdog into his mounting problems.

  5. Haters want to celebrate….. you are mistaken guys, Sata is not dying now until God says so. You will be shocked that it will be you fit guys who will die before Sata.

  6. Why did he go with five doctors? mulwele ka,you forced him to open parliament.lekeni atushe twapapta, nga afwila ku US tamwakatubepe bakalanda.

  7. They should have sent the vice president to represent Zambia , share waste of money .
If you cannot deliver a speech, with big entouge.

  8. Apparently, Levy was “seen” jogging a day before they pulled off his life support. Africans like to make jokes off themselves.
America is a true democracy with freedom of speech, we will know the true condition by the end of this weekend, and that’s a guarantee!

  9. Hahahahaha…..mai Guy Scott. Why all these lies AND CONCLUSIVELY jumping to BLAME WatchDog. ZWD r in Zed they r not in USA & r NOT CONTROLLED BY HH.
    YOU DREAM HH EVERY NIGHT.

Wht we kno is Doctors gave a ‘View’ tht Sata MAY NOT CROSS 30/09/14 & the WHOLE GOVT machinery is PANICKING due to that prognosis frm Drs.
Let him RIP we will MEET HIM on the other side.

    • Anderson chisala my friend and the rest of the sata haters? I urge you not to be blasphemous all else you might regret what God might do to you Coz you human just like sata and you can also get sick today and die tomorrow. Life is Gods and is the only one who decides who should die and who should not so stop wishing our president dead.
You guys who are busy insulting those wishing the president well, are the same people who got choked when you heard that sata has won the 2011 elections. Right now you are in a nightmare that things are improving in our country. my friend development and progress are in levels no president even your HH will please us in everything When he comes to take over from HE president sata.
Don’t be too indulged with watchdog coz they are not so accurate with data.

    • Watch dog has always wished sata dead from inception, they were full of death propaganda but always were found wanting in their information and we know that they have spies in state house who are double standard. anyway don’t get me wrong,
i love you all Zambians because we share the same genes of a Zambian and we are all entitled to our opinion but lets respect people who have different views from ours. mind you its God who permits whoever rules us to rule us and so the same God who allowed sata to rule will decide, right now he needs our support because he has a genuine heart to change the nations outlook, whether you like it all not the truth of the matter is that he is a man of action. I know you are a cadre of HH and I don’t how much you guys are paid to blog negative,…

  10. PF’s consistent uncanny disinclination to heed this pertinent wake-up call that our beloved HEMCS is indeed sick, and that seriously so, is as baffling as it is disconcerting. Must one take them to be just senile or what?

  11. The head line in the Newsweek article reads …”WHERE IS THE ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT?” In the main story says …a source at the UN told newsweek that Sata died on thursday…”

These are mere speculations…Sata is alive!!! Newsweek tell us your source at the UN!!!

  12. If the Lord wants, sata can live to see most of you die … so don’t be over zealous in thinking sata is a walking dead. I thank you

  13. Sata is like a phoenix, he has been declared bedridden, on life support or dead so many times by the opposition and other biased media, but every time he comes out to shame the naysayers. If you want to win elections you better do it in a proper way and not hoping for the incumbents death to make it easier for you. Like what happened last time when you were busy talking about his sickness and apparent death just for him to come and campaign for his candidates winning 4 out of the 6 by-elections history will repeat itself in the coming bye-elections. So keep up with your sickness talk while are soldiers are on the ground working, selling our party vision to the electorate.

    • *So keep up with your sickness talk while are soldiers our on the ground working, selling our party vision to the electorate.*

    • Meant to say “So keep up with your sickness talk while our soldiers are on the ground working, selling our party vision to the electorate.*

    • @ ALF, er.. saulosi, can’t believe you still this deluded. Are you saying, the entire world is wrong is asserting that sata is sick? ABC who is in Sata’s inner circle has admitted that he is an ‘absentee landlord..’ Why are you and other pf bigots going to so much length disputing something that is so evident? What is in it for you? It is not sickness talk for crying out aloud, it is a fact. The nation is tired of paying a president whose job has been reduced to a lip service. Ask yourself this, why did Sata go to the US but failed to do the job that he went there for? Your loyalty to Sata is admirable, but as a president, na.. boet, i’m afraid I have to put it to you that he has outlived his shelf life. Try and wrap your head around that!

    • Yes they are wrong because the associated press have now said that their earlier report is not true because nobody has confirmed it. But again i know i`m just wasting my time trying to convince you otherwise because you can only believe in what you want to hear. Good luck with your fantasies and expectations bro.

    • Aint no fantancy brother man and mos def don’t need no luck! Deep down, you know the truth. It shall come to pass, one way or the other. We have crossed the rubicon. They say you can run but you can’t hide. Being a pragmatist, what I’m trying to say is that lets engage in meaningful dialogue regarding who would make potentially suitable candidates to replace sata. Instead of pulling together, we are wasting our energies debating whether sata is fit to be president or not. You and I know that Sata is by no means fit to be president: hibernation, failure to address a political rally, failure to address the National assembly, failure to address the UN and God knows what happens inside statehouse. Nobody wishes him dead, but that he should do the honourable thing, resign on health grounds.

    • @Saulosi, you better pray no one in the hotel called 911 for Sata. If they did, am making it a point as an American citizen to obtain the recording of why he was treated in his hotel room! It’s my right!

  14. Iwe @2020 Vision!!
Sata’s Expirely date from Cancer related illness was pegged to b NOT BEYOND 30/09/2014 tht was the Prognosis given.

  15. “Dead” my foot. The President is alive and kicking, before he can even finish his term you the opposition are waiting in the doorway like witches and wizards. He’ll surely live to finish his mandate, given to him by the people of this great nation.

    • @ Hassad
Alive and kicking? I doubt that you believe that. If you do, one word, insane. Did you see David Cameron or Bob Mugabe on the UN podium? Now those, my friend, are alive and kicking.
So many questions boggle my mind:
Is this how you would like your president to finish his term of office? Beat-up, diseased and always on his defence regarding his health? His health has been up for public scrutiny whether he hibernates or not, both inside and outside the country. If you so loved your president, surely you would spare him the pain of going through with this? Not just physical pain from his ailments but the loss in dignity as well. Free piece of advice, think twice before you blog.

  16. Is it not true that, like the rest of us, the president is mortal and is thus equally as prone to get sick? Why then has PF been so disdainful and ambivalent of president Sata’s illness? Why do they treat it as though it is obnoxious and repugnant? Are they ashamed that he is sick? Are they going to continue lying about it, day in and day out? And for how long are we going to continue tolerating this nonsense?

    • @Saulosi: I respect your belief. It also partly explains the behavior of some of the members of the president’s clan on this blog. It behooves you though to realize that not all of us embrace that belief.

  17. Mr. VP, I seriously doubt that Newsweek, NY Times and AP would get news from ZWD, esp that it would be easier to get the info themselves.
Either way, I salute you for respecting our weekend. Now we can avoid national mourning over the weekend as we celebrate life.

    #OneZambia

  18. @armpit no words can describe your stupidity so I think in all fairness ill encourage you to continue with your gibberish as the nonsense which you are vomiting best describes yourself, the same applies to @anderson chisala…both of you are mentally handicapped…but as mentioned this kind of rubbish that you cretins are saying only shows how evil you are and the whole online community are not fools, they see through your evil intentions and your rumour mongering and seditious lies. Shame!

  19. Many of us who, at one time or another, have dared to make a comment regarding the president’s well being, have found ourselves being roasted alive and buried under a barrage of insults and disgusting innuendos. It is as though these PF zealots believe and consider that president Sata belongs to them and them alone. And that the rest of us trying to ‘poke our noses’ into his ‘personal’ affairs, have no right to do so.

But the president belongs to us all. If anything, the presidency is a public institution. President Sata should first be seen as president of Zambia before he is seen as PF. Consequently, any Zambian has the right to inquire about his health and must not be subjected to insults and innuendos most characteristic of these uncouth PF cadres.

  20. Only hope this is true. No right thinking Zambian would wish the president dead considering it’s economic and political consequences.
However, some of us are getting concerned because even Rupiah Banda lied to the nation that he had personaly talked to Levy mwanawasa from France, When in the actual sence the man was already embalmed.

  21. But Mr. GUY SCOTT you are not telling us where about of the President SATA in NEW YORK because we have seen photos from UN Summit taken by your cadre I have not seen President SATA’S PHOTO in attendance of the summit, So MR. VIP tell us where is our SATA?

  22. If the story about missing his scheduled speech is correct, and if it is down to his failure rather than UN schedule management; President Sata should look into himself and find courage to stand down.

Zambia’s image is suffering and we need him to do the job or be represented by others at such gatherings. Is there any reason, why someone else could not have given his speech for him?

There needs to be some order in his personal conduct whilst on duty. If he wants to work, he must do as required. Cant’t have it both ways.

News reports are alarmist. The state machinery is still running and I suspect some international skulduggery from western countries hoping to benefit from ‘new’ friends in the opposition should they take over.

Whatever the truth, I am for democracy in…

  23. Ati: “….the Guardian who probably told Newsweek who told Associated Press who probably picked it from the Zambia Watchdog that the President has passed on”.

Then the ZWD is an authority of worldwide repute, tefyo? Pure and unadulterated garbage being spewed shamelessly by Zambia’s second head honcho. Well Sata is in USA, not Israel or North Korea where news can be muzzled and clamped. We will now get more up to date feedback from New York about our “healthy and fit” head of state. You won’t be able to play your silly ‘donchi kubeba’ games. Now that news hawks there have smelt the carcass they will poke their noses into those hotel rooms and ICU’s and extract the truth for us.

  24. It is time the president’s handlers stopped playing God. If his time has come, which seems to be the case, nothing that the best medical facilities will do can change the status quo. My advise is that you guys should start looking at finding a successor because the MCS you knew is no more. Even if he was to live for a couple more years, he will not be able to execute his duties to the best of his abilities despite his desire to do so.

  25. This sickness talk is sickening. HEMCS is just okay and working as a father of the nation should. What’s wrong with all these people wishing him ill?

  26. The notion that anyone inquiring about the well being of the president has a sinister motive of trying to hijack the presidency can only be a product of warped minds. We all do wish the president well and would have loved to see him complete two full terms in office; leaving behind an amiable legacy for up-coming generations.

These PF ISIS need to be reminded that should the president, for one reason or another, fail to complete two full terms, more likely than not, his successor will come from within their ranks. It is for this reason that they, like hungry hyenas, have been at each other’s necks before our very eyes! The RB story of how he succeeded LPM is a case in point. PF are unashamedly cut throats!

  27. Chikwanda the kingmaker- announced in the Post leaks that Edgar was in line for succession and he definitely is.

  28. According to All Africa, a website specializing in reporting from the continent, Sata traveled to New York accompanied by six doctors as part of his entourage of 38 people. The report cited an unnamed source who said that the reason the president came to New York ahead of the launch of the Wednesday debate was to visit the Sloane Kettering Cancer Center.

  29. @ndugu PRAYER IS IMPORTANT. BUT IN THIS CASE WHAT DO YOU PRAY FOR? PF AND SATA HAVE DENIED SATAS ILLNESS. BUT THE US MADIA IS TELLING US THAT HE WAS ATTENDED TO BY DOCTORS. WHO SHALL WE BELIEVE? AND WHEN IT COMES TO PRAYER, THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT YOU FIRST MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU AND YOU NEED INTERVENTION. “YOU NEED TO CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH…” THAT IS WHEN HELP WILL COME. IN THIS CASE THE PATIENT HAS REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS ILLNESS.

  30. ACTING PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU SHUOLD QUICKLY CORRECT THE WAY THE PF IS MANAGING SATAs HEALTH BEFORE WE BRING SHAME ON OUR OWN COUNTRY. OTHER PRESIDENTS WHEN THEY ARE SICK EVERYONE IS UPDATED. BUT IN OUR OWN COUNTRY IT HAS TO TAKE FOREIGN MEDIA TO “UNEARTH” WHAT IS HAPPENING UNDER OUR VERY OWN NOSTRILS. IS IT NORMAL THAT VOA AND OTHER FOREIGN MEDIA CAN JUST COOCK UP A STORY THAT SATA WAS TREATED BY US DOCTORS? AND ISNT THIS CONFIRMING WHAT ZAMBIANS HAVE ALWAYS SUSPECTED THAT SATA IS SICK. WE ALL KNOW THAT SATA IS SICK. EVEN PF AND THE VP KNOW THAT SATA IS SICK. BUT LET US SAY THE TRUTH THAT WE ALL KNOW AND CHART THE WAY FORWARD. OTHERWISE THERE IS NO OFFICIAL EXPLANATION WHY SATA FAILED TO COMPLETE HIS SPEECH IN PARLIAMENT AND WHY HE FAILED TO ADDRESS THE UNGA.

  31. Mwebanthu the man is sick, deathly so. Accept it, he is just a human being like you and me who is nearing his end on this earth. Just let this Guy go Scott free, umusungu ichipuba!

  32. Dr Scott you are now irritating? Did you hear commentaries from MPs some of them saying “Kwati baleeba abaice” (As if he is telling kids). Why do you think media houses like AP have to report a story they pick from the Watchdog? Your obsession with the ZWD has blinded you.

  33. We must unite and not worry on Presd. Sata’s health. When issues are misreported, people perceptible become upset in blogs.

What we need to remember is that we have a good gov’t in Zambia and good people lined up as backups to President Sata in support of his office.

I just wish this illness issue would just go away! It’s over shadowing what’s really successful current, all those lovely developments ‘posting-up’ our cities, and villages.

    There really is no issue.

    • @Patriot Abroad,
looks like you also believe that problems solve themselves. This man called Sata is just a mess in Zambia. If we had a way, we would export him ‘abroad’ so that you guys experience his reverse gear thinking. We surely deserve something better as a people!

  34. It’s now official, Sata is DEAD! He kicked the bucket four hours ago while overly exerting himself over Kaseba! When he ‘released’, his heart “kaputed”. He’s now sleeping with the fishes and heading back home as cargo. Good riddance.

  35. Terrible insults fron the likes of Tommy Sankara, you are abusing that noble name. Sankara was a noble socialist like His Excellency the President who cares for all Zambians. You fake Tommy Sankara and others that fail to say anything without insulting HEMCS are showing what your party UPND is all about. Then you have some !diots like mei matungu that come up and say we supporters of the President accuse you chaps of insulting, hey please have a brain check you cretins read the comments above such as this one from a fake Sankara and tell me if that is not insulting. Had this been in a country like Zimbabwe ba sekuru Mugabe would have tracked you cretins down even if you were abroad in the UK, his agents would have been sent right to your door steps. Don’t abuse your free speech.

    • @2020vision: Here you go again – insulting! Since when did Mei Matungu become an “!diot?” If only you could wean yourself of bad language and insults, you would make sense. I have pointed out this to you before that you fall short of what the name: 2020 vision portrays. Tommy Sankara above and below makes sense. But it has become characteristic of you that anyone who speaks sense on this blog becomes your target of attack.

You can challenge me on what I say or write, instead of insulting me. As a human, you have a brain far much more intelligent than that of any other animal. So far, you are only using a tiny fraction of it, may be 5%. The rest of your brain is dormant. You mean continuing to insult people like Mei Matungu is the best you can do?

    • @mei matungu in your own words, “Tommy Sankara above and below makes sense”, well then you truly deserve the title of an !diot and you too should not abuse the hospitality of your host nation to support people like Tommy Sankara that wish death on others as he quite clearly says above unless you are both blind to read what he says and too stupid to grasp the meaning. You and others that are spreading hate speech should just be deported from those countries.

    • @2020vision: “..well then you truly deserve the title of an !diot..” But you had already labeled me an “!diot” before the fact. You may not agree with or understand someone else. That does not give you the license to insult that other individual. You do have a brain better than that of a butterfly, you can do better. That much I can assure you. Try to challenge yourself and use more of your dormant brain. You will be glad you were able to heed my advice.

“..unless you are both blind to read what he says and too stupid to grasp the meaning..” No, I am neither blind nor stupid to understand what Tommy Sinkara is saying. He is using sarcasm which is above your head. Further, you seem to lack the ability to tell the difference between anger and hate. Yours is a warped mind.

    • @mei matungu if you support people that insult a recovering President, an elderly man, a man that cares for the people all the people (even the likes of this faketommysankara) then you and me cannot get along and I will call you an !diot for that, if it was the other way round and you were arguing with UPND cadres like the ones above my word they would’ve called you much worse and used real expletives. I think with all honesty you know I’m telling you the truth so don’t get all judgmental with me when you know I’m being right, even Jesus called sinners f00ls!!!

    • @2020vision: “..You and others that are spreading hate speech should just be deported from those countries..” Now I think I know who and what it is I am up against – a neurotic! I will spare you the trouble. Please pardon me. Have a splendid week-end. Regards.

    • 2020vision: For your sake, I will go against my word above and respond to your post at 50.5. No, I never said I “..support people that insult a recovering President..” nor did I claim that you and I can get along.

What I would like you to start appreciating is that, no matter out differences, we can still treat each other with dignified civility and cordiality as respectable citizens. You can differ and or argue with me and still leave me at least half dressed.

Your tendency has been to undress whoever you pick up a quarrel or argue with. That is mental illness by any definition of the word. You can’t stand to be challenged. I bet, if I were really close enough to you, you would long have off-loaded your revolver into my skull. You need to see a psychiatrist.

    • 2020vision: You may have noticed how you spelled the words: “!diot” and “f00l”! Consult any dictionary and you will discover that your way of spelling those words is not the correct way. But why did you allow your literal pride to go on the chopping block? It is because LT will never allow you to use those words in any post on their website. There is a good reason for that. And you know it. But you have creatively found a way to circumvent LT’s restrictions so that you are not inhibited and continue to imbibe the orgy of your pernicious addition of insulting other bloggers.

Shame on you. The English language is very rich. You can find better words to use, if only you make the effort. Otherwise, you are mentally retarded and you should not be proud of yourself.

  36. This is the sad story of one Sata, aka Charles Katongo Mwango! Even if the Americans pronounced Ukwa dead today, the likes of Mushota fimo fimo will accuse them of lying, such is the depth and width of the tragic gullibility & nincompoopery that bedevils Zambian minds today, they know no levels of gutlessness. It stinks. As a nation, we have now reached a very dangerous paralysis and Sata’s predicament and how this could happen to any nation is a manifest of the extent to which we have drifted into the failed nation wilderness.

  37. 2020vision,
The difference between me and you is that I’m a realist with a heart for my country, unlike you who is a god damn ostrich that opts to burry its brainless head in the sad hoping woes will drift away but the time it alights from the sand! It’s a simple fact that at 77 and with the afflictions that Sata has, there is no enough money in creation to heal him. The fiasco in parliament was haunting, to what extent is that man willing to skip his rendezvous with god all at the tax payers’ cost? Why is he so scared of dying? Our constitution requires him to be of sound mind and health, and he’s of none but still wants to cling on to power! He is a stinking stupid *****, and so are you!

    • Your verbally abusive rant above once again succeeds in showing the world the true colours of your kind. No substance just insults which are misplaced. If this is the mindset, full of hate and genocide that you have, if this is the attitude you are subjecting your hosts in Canada I really feel sorry those Canadians, they would do the wise thing to deport you back to Zambia for such hate speech.

  38. @faketommysankara, what do mean cling to power??? HEMCS made it clear some time back that he is considering only being in office for one term. Don’t dream up things to suit your distorted picture of the situation. As mentioned that hate speech will just get you in trouble, your stay in Canada is a privilege not a right, don’t abuse it.

    • @2020vision: Tommy Sankara above is not “fake.” That is name calling. If only you could convince yourself to read his post above, you would understand what he means by “clinging to power.’ He means first and foremost that, in his present state, the president is as good as dead; and that in that vegetative state he is in, he is too sick to govern; and further that, notwithstanding this reality, he is still clinging on to power.

What things is Tommy Sinkara “dreaming up to suit a distorted picture of the situation?” I scarcely understand what you mean by “that hate speech will just get you in trouble?” Doesn’t that go in line with what I have argued all day today? You have made it a crime for anyone outside of your tribe to say something regarding the president’s illness.

    • @2020vision: You are more vicious than a bull dog and more poisonous than a black mamba. I know that you are schizophrenic. That alone has been enough to deter me from crossing your path knowingly. I never would have jumped into your nice discussion with Tommy Sinkara. You dragged me into it.

There are more than 7 billion bipedal homo sapiens on planet earth, at least those with normal names, not like yours. Your schizophrenic brain had little trouble to pick Mei Matungu from among the many, as the target of your insults and disgusting innuendos.

Knowing how venomous you are, it surprises me that LT are not keeping you on the leash. You must be somebody, may be the president’s nephew. Any wonder you are posturing to be considered his successor! Good luck.

    • @2020vision: Madness is a sickness. I sympathize. I see you are already talking about “deportations.” Adolf Hitler is remembered for killing more than six million Jews in concentration camps. It has since been established by medical science that he was a victim of a mental illness known as Borderline! You need to get checked before you kill somebody. You are a dangerous person.

Many great presidents like Barack Obama, one of America’s best, are insulted day in and day out by their opponents and those who hate them. They never insult back. Nor do they send vicious dogs like you, to bite those insulting them. It’s part of the game of being a leader. In my mother tongue they say: “Mbumu ka wa katondo na mubika” – A Royal/King does not pick-up a quarrel with a commoner!

  39. @tommysankara and mei matungu: What type of animals are you? should we call you a hyena or a dragon from the devil Lucifer (himself)? you two guys disgust me. surely is that how you express your hate to our head of state just because you were choked when sata got into power contrally to your choice? No human can sink so low to wish his excellence dead!!!
your reasoning baffles me. Imagine you get sick and you are told at your place of work that you must resign and give up your position because you have cancer would you easily accept to give up your position when you know your mental capacity is still capable of working? would you hand over before your contract expires? I guess not coz if you would, you would be a coward. Therefore we know your interest is to scavenge the presidency…

  40. I know and believe that no human being would want to give up on life and work. who says that people supporting the head of state doesn’t know that he is seek? we all know that but what we can not accept is that people play jokes on him and the only level that can make us accept him to step down is only when he becomes mentally incapacitated coz people have even done wonders even when they have been amputated on both legs, we have seen people with no hands but able to win awards and even graduate with flying colors in their respectful academias. What point am i deriving at? the point am putting across is that what counts is the mental ability period, its your ideas and your brains that people will appreciate not your good looks physically that counts even the man we so called cabbage
