Be practical about your promises, presidential hopefuls told

Share

A freedom fighter in Mufumbwe District in Northwestern Province has challenged the opposition political parties who were claiming that they would increase salaries and create jobs within three years to show what method they would use.

Mr. James Katemisha said in Mufumbwe that political leaders should tell people the truth because increasing salaries for workers does not just come like dreams but through the treasury.

Mr. Katemisha questioned those who were promising people that many people would be in employment, where  the jobs are going to come from adding that even in London where there are many industries many professionals were still roaming the streets

Mr. Katemisha has since advised electorates to vote for MMD and Rupiah Banda a person who has proved capable to drive the nation to prosperity.

Mr. Katemisha a former UNIP member mentioned that some political parties have nothing to offer because they have not identified themselves with any meaningful program as most of them have already been lined up by the MMD.

He observed that some political leaders who have personal to holder parties have no developmental issues to talk about and as a result they have resorted to insults only.

Mr. Katemisha urged all political parties to work for prosperous Zambia in which the citizens would live in harmony and become more committed to work for the development of the country.

Mr. Katemisha explained that leaders must stop practicing politics of hatred or castigating one another but to move forward.

Mr. Katemisha said Political parties should unite and love one another although they could have different political inclinations but should agree where necessary and work together for the good of the country.

  1. Oh! am sorry i don’t agree with you ba fleedom fighter. The only place Banda will drive this nation to is into more poverty and economic instability. Same goes for HH and the king mouth SATA. these fellas have no real issues to talk about, just insults! Nalema namwe atabala!

  2. The message to work together is very correct; and not practicing politics of hatred. The message is definitely coming from a mature person. This is why RB could rely more on UNIPist other than MMD cadres like Teta.

    MANJE NIPA BWATOOOOO! Mwa Mukolo!!!!

  3. Bola yavuta…Sata tried so far but will fall short of the critical “last mile”

Zambia is not only views from Lusaka it is much lager. So dont speak from myopic views not beyond your Lusaka nose

Villagers, peasants also have a say

RB for de envelopes de better

    RBRBRBRBRBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

  4. Pa bwato fye,we want RB out, lets try someone else because once MMD stays into power the economy is going down, for your info some mines on the copperbelt are closing down because of the MMD policies, see the press tomorrow and am sure you read yesterday about muliashi(Luanshya copper mine), a big blow to the economy and if we dont change we should hold ourselves responsible for this, mark my words

  5. indeed be practical>>> how can H.H just dream of K3.5M for civil servants ??????????????????????!!!!! The most holifying is this SINKING TITANIC slogan of More money in yr pockets…very empty promise altogether Just to incite thugs crowd around him.

GO RB FOR PRESIDENT…CHWE CHWE CHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE……!!!!! the the hour nizeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…

  6. With due respect Mr Mufumbwe, your thinking capacity is old fashioned and does show any sign of adaptability with the recent developments in the economic world. Its not only London which has intelligent people. HH has the formular. Zambia is rich enough to develop all you need is open your eyes and ears wider then you ll see the potential. I know u re a UNIP fellow cant betray UNIP in the name of MMD. Wake UP!

  7. Zambians you scare me a lot. You say you want change, but it seems you dont care what kind of change. Its just change you want. Ladies and gentlemen let me warn you. I have no say over whom you will vote for but you will remember my words. SATA is dangerous. I repeat, vote SATA at your own peril. The MMD government has not scored much success as people would have loved to but SATA is not the answer. You sit down and reflect if SATA is really the man you think can rule. Dont ignore what your subconscious is telling you. You will make the worst decision of your life just by Crossing ‘X’ on SATA. At least I have warned you.

  8. They say power is nothing without control. Are going to control SATA once he has the power? Hear me and hear me good, the man is a hard worker and you cant take that away from him. But to me there is a side of him that scares me so much that it even washes away his good deeds. Others say those who don’t want SATA are those who are lazy and don’t want to work. I choose to disagree with that. A president should be one who seeks first to understand then to be understood. Some statements he makes send shivers in my spine. And that’s not to say RB is the best, its just RB is a better devil looking at the predicament we in.

  10. You Zambians re finished why can u choose HH who has no respect for missionaries? All presidents should ve plans before visiting the place. It was sad for HH in Mukinge, The staff did not welcome him becuase he did not tell any one that he is coming. He talked the people through the window. imagine this what kind of a president is this? people did not like his bad comments over kapande. choose the right leader not fun ones

  12. this bwezani supporter, have u sat down to look at the way bwezani is making pledges every where he goes and releasing funds at the last minute? all are politicking esp bwezani.we need an iron hand to shake corrupt elements in our top civil service management, cheque AG’s report.bwezani is embracing thieves and yu think he means well for zed, mwapya you’ll drown, get in the Noah’s arch.

  13. Its HH no matter what you say about him.Come 30th Oct all civil servants, Soldiers and Police Officers lets not make a mistake.Sata hasnst told us how much he will pay us.This is the only chance. Thanks for the messages that your sending through the phone to phone campain for all the Public service workers.Lets defeat the Kaponyas on the Street.Teachers i here the message has reached you also with our brothers at our Universities and colleges

  14. No. 8 it is either you were at primary or secndary school when Sata and FTJ were making the decisions to sell Luanshya. What you are now seeing happening in Luanshya or any other mines are a result of wrong decisions by the likes of Sata. LPM (MHSRIEP) tried to undo the mud left by these guys. I miss LPM but lets move on. If these guyz had listened Muliashi would be producing tonnes of Copper and cobalt by now. That’s why we need to be careful whom we elect next week. I may not be for RB but certainly Sata should not be given the power. And for the sake of the 200 jobs lost in Luanshya and other mines I woul not go for Sata but better RB. Ukwali nsoke takwafwile bantu.

  15. Iam surprised by some few uneducated fellows who could condem HH for suggesting that he will increase salaries for civil servants, look over many-many years zambia have lost sons and daughters of this country who have gone out looking for greener pastures in other countries, these are the resources zambia would need to help develop it. So HH is actaully 100% right, zambia is a rich country but only few glutonous individuals are finishing the cake and leaving overburdened civil servants as beggers. You walk through in compunds where police officers and teachers reside you will, unless insane see for yourself these men and women are underpaid,on thier stalls they sale tusugartwa 500pin shame

  16. Especially the Pythorn. It has been making wild promises such as heaven on earth. Zambian, let’s be carefull especioally with the likes of the Pythorn. He is ready to sale the country just to be in plot one. A curse on him.

  17. Zambians, who wants to be governed by a kaponya? I am not willing. Look at the way Kaponyas analyse things. They think the most vocal with fake promises is the saviour of our country. They want some one of their own. And they have identified Sata as their saviour. sadly even learned pipo have been deceived by the pa Bwato syndrome

  18. Ba freedom fighter, your time is gone. Compare the population of Britain to that of Zambia, then compare the land and other resources that we have. We are very few that we can all live comfortably.Britain has more than 130 million people, no minerals but how much are civil servants paid there compared to Zambians? We have everything to make us richer than Britain and YET WE ARE ONLY 12.5 million.

Think about that Guys… It requires brains. Freedom Fighters can puncture, they can’t think more than gun and stone to get what they want. VOTE ..HHHHHH VOTE ….HHHHHHHH

  19. SATA HAS PROMISED ALOT,HH IS STILL PROMISING ALOT AND RB HAS PROMISED A WHOLE WORLD.BUT ALOT OF IT IS POLITIKING.JUST BECAUSE WE NEED CHANGE WE WILL VOTE FOR SATA HE NORMALLY ACTS AND EFFECTS CHANGE
AT LEAST WE CAN POINT AT A NUMBER OF THINGS HE DID WERE EVER HE WAS IN GOVERNMENT.MAYBE WE SHOULD TRY HIM. VOTE FOR PF

  20. Mingeli Palata caught lying about HH on http://www.lusakatimes.com/ ? p = 4932.
    “A N C D A I L Y N E W S B R I E F I N G…FRIDAY 2 DECEMBER 2005
@ ZAMBIA-VOTE-OPPOSITION…LUSAKA 1 December 2005 Sapa-AFP…Bob Sichinga, vice president of the United Party for National
Development (UPND), quit his post after he called for leader
Anderson Mazoka to step down. “I advised Mazoka not to contest his position because of his poor health but he has refused to heed my advise,” Sichinga said.” Meanwhile UNPD Superdelegates elected president HH in August or so of 2006 ahead of the Nov. 2006 election
Please, I am waiting for you response to this, Mingeli Palata. Great men and women apologise for cheating.

  21. pEOPLE WHO ARE ABLE TO MANAGE THEIR OWN HOMES AND WEALTH ARE THE ONES TO BE ENTRUSTED WITH THE NATIONAL RESOURCES. VOTE WISELY ITS hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh pakubokooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  22. Yes it is possible to raise salaries in the civil service in zed to realistic levels. Look at the current perks of civil servants against their lifestyles. Where do they get the money to live in good houses, buy cars and send their kids to school cuz their pay don’t just add up. They feed from the system via corruption and workshops. Let us tighten the system so that the money lost through corruption is channeled to this cause.

    Viva HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  23. WISE MAN INDEED,ZAMBIA IS BLESSED TO HAVE YOU PAPA.MAY GOD BLESS YOU,IAM VOTING MMD JUST BCOZ OF THOSE FEW AND WISE WORDS YOU SAID.

  24. Countdown: 5 days 5 hours 50 minutes remaining and we are counting.

Vote for HH for a real ray of Chnage and Hope that all Zambians can believe and trust in. vote for your children’s future. Vote for economic independence

To this end, I ask RBB and MMD to quickly endorse HH for Zambian President. Munkombwe was quoted as saying the Sata may win if MMD makes a single or simple mistake. So, MMD stand up for what is right. It is not too late for RBB to infrom the Nation through ZNBC TV and radio with Times of Zambia together with Zambia Daily Mail that let all vote for HH.

May you all Zambians have a great weekend. I am leaving for a SABBATH recess. Thank you all for you support.
