Libya has given Zambia several tractors for boosting food production in the country.

Speaking at the occassion, Republican President Rupiah Banda said Zambia appreciates the friendship and brotherhood Libya has always extended to Zambia.

Mr. Banda observed that mechanized farming is key to addressing the challenges of food production in Zambia.

He said the country was currently in need of mechanical farming equipment such as tractors in order to address the challenges being faced as a result of the global financial credit crunch.

Mr. Banda also noted that government considers agriculture as one of the key alternatives to the mining sector following the fall in copper prices on the world market.

He said government is looking forward to receiving more mechanical agriculture equipment as earlier pointed out by the Libyan government to ensure the whole country benefits from the gesture.

Mr. Banda has since assured the Libyan government that the equipment will be well distributed around the country and be used for the intended purpose of boosting food

production in the country.

Among those that witnessed the official handover were Agriculture Minister Dr. Brian Chituwo, Presidential Affairs Minister Gabriel Namulambe and Special Political Advisor to the President Akashambatwa Mbikusita Lewanika.

Libyan Ambassador to Zambia Khalifa Omar Swiexi said the gesture is aimed at helping to develop the Zambian agricultural sector.

Mr. Swiexi said his country is committed to providing assistance to friendly countries like Zambia through the provision of mechanical equipment such as tractors and other agricultural equipment.

He said the gesture is also a symbol of the long standing relationship between the two countries for the purpose of establishing cooperation and the exploitation of the natural resources.

Mr. Swiexi who described the relations between the two countries as excellent expressed confidence that President Banda and his Libyan counterpart Colonel Muammar Gaddafi would continue to provide guidance in developing and enhancing the already existing relations between the two countries.

  1. The first Performance appraisal on this Govt by the Zambian people will be held on 1st Feb 09 based on the 3 months probation period. The second performance appraisal will be held 1st May 09 based on the 6 months probation period afterwhich the Zambian people will decide based on the outcome whether to ask them to resign honourably or if the performance is positive then a yearly performance appraisal will be conducted on 1st November of each year until the elections in 2011.This will apply to every Govt that will ever rule Zambia.LT please come up with topics relevant to these assessments on the due date to give an opportunity to Zambians to fairly & objectively assess the Govt.

  2. Do you remember that in the seventies a defunct communist country (German Democratic Republic – GDR) donated a huge amoyunt of tractors called Fortschritt. They went to the Zambia National Service and State Farms. within six months most of those tractors were lying in parking lots broken down!!! The contract was poorly negotiated and therefore, GDR had no responsibility to bring in spare parts!
How is this Libyan situation different from that of GDR? What model of tractors are these? How are they going to be serviced? I have never head of Libya manufacturing tractors!!! Something funny is going on here! :-?:-?:-?

  3. Thats good timely news for our nation, but we need to know what the distribution criteria is,any intended targets, since we no longer have kambilombilo state farms. How are these implements going to help us(if at all they wont be found in the ministers living rooms),is the government targeting a group of farmers?,or maybe they will handled over to the dead ministry of Agriculture to benefit Pacos and Dacos or are they going to ZNS?

  4. Kawalala,we all like the game of nambala nanikane. But i think wachichita over. Filing the blogg with that.you havent even said any sense here.

  5. LT sure, you could not count the exact number of the tractors…how can you write an article and say “several tractors” thats below par reporting to fail to state a fact that could easily be stated. maybe they are just three! an then Libya goes on record as helping Zambian agriculture…lets stop jokes.. 3:-o

  6. Kawalala never mind.am just joking ilonfwika bwino nambala nanikane. This is weekend we need to have funny. Pa Christmas Chishibukombe chalisa sabaila sana.Kwati nachikolwa pa blogg. He was just alone!

  7. Since i was born i only hear other countries making donations to Zambia. Now My question is, when is Zambia going to donate something to other countries?
Lets hope the government will also find qualified people to repair those tractors once they brokendown, otherwise they will only work one year and dumped in farms like ZNS have dumped their tractors.
    8->

  8. LT,dont say several. They are just 8 tractors. And RB is looking foward to receiving some more. When are the other countries going to look foward to receiving from Zambia? All the time we are just receiving.Bushe ninshi kanshi!

  9. #20 Chewe…dont retract your posting at #17, you were right. Putting numbers 1 to 10 on a blogg without a sensible comment is surely out of sorts. And if this Kawalala says anything in reply, I will physically follow him…he is just a street away from where Iam!!!!!

  10. #24,you are right. Kawalala achilamo,Engines i have noticed a lot of new names here with very useless things they are saying. There is even God and Jesus,Gentlemen shall we be serious even if you have run out of names, leave the name of God and Jesus alone. There are so many hopless chaps on the blog now.Kwati twafuma fye kuchilindi. And you Engines, are you the Engine block i know who like money to much,or you are a gong,a?

  12. oh! good LT for deleting out Kawalala…Chewe, yes! this is Engines Bbuloko. Am ususing another Compu so forgot to put the “sir” name. I have been scarce on the blogg coz I noticed that after elections, some chaps ran out of things to post. I like your consistency though Chewe….next post, I will be back as Engines Bbuloko! Nomba ba Chewe ati I like money a lot :))

  13. Engines, great to hear from you.I was wondering when i could not trace you from anywhere. Am so happy that makes my day! I want to rest now enjoy blogging!

  14. There is nothing wrong in receiving especially if from birth you have just been receiving and begging. It goes without shame to say that we so much seem to be in need from other peoples sights. The most degrading thing above all is been a christian nation that fails to be far seeing and wise. And at the end fails altogether to feed its christian citizens. In this action who then is exalted? And what do they those who knows that we are christian nation say in their heart?

  15. koma #21 ulina sense of hummor, Engines at kagayo! anyway, you are forgiven.
Since KK’s time, I have not seen a sensible agriculture policy from GRZ. Problem in Africa and Zambia in particular, politicians think when they take power, they have to change everything: The currency, ministry name, developmental programmes…what was wrong with NAMBOARD and the Provincial Cooperative Unions? Technology would not have reached this stage if every scientist wanted to rediscover the proton! When Isaac netwon discovered the law of equal forces, others built on it…Zed politicians please be serious. Dont outdo each other in messing up the country…people are starving they need leadership….

  16. Zambia did help other southern africa countries gain independence that’s giving so it’s our time to do a bit of recieving

  17. Hey hey people, dont blame LT to say they dont know the exact number of the tractors. i watched the MUVI TV news and even the Presdent himself dint know. He had to ask his assistant, imagine on TV and in full view of donators themselves. What an embarrasment it was.

  18. #26, did you expect better than that from the big man? just learn to live with it my dear otherwise we will lose you to stress.

  19. So you mean our government can not even afford to buy tractors, what a shame , the all president having a go on a tractor when luashya mine has been closed, it just shows that this man has no plan for the country, he is a chancer and i do not think he even understands the global finacial crisis, he is too old for this computer generation, godhelp us , a president receiving tractors, where are the civil servants of this country.

  20. I bet one of these tractors is going to find it way into RB’s farm in eastern province. Afterall they have to make sure these tractors are roadworth in the gardens, just look at the smile on his face. The Libyans are trying to buy the zedian govt so that they get that land which LPM was in the process of giving them. There is nothing for nothing. 8 tractors = land for Libyans. It is a fair trade….

  21. #29, I can only sympathise with Zed people, they were told to vote for a young, successful and inteligent leader bena ati awe shani shani uko! Even the other fella shalumbule ishina X_X was not going to be any better. As for Americans, I can just admire…Obama and Michelle awe mwandi ni land of dreams!

  22. If you read history you will realise that Libya,Egypt,Tunisia and many more Arab states in africa were for africans and not for Arabs these lands have been conqured. What would stop this people from extending to other lands. You must be very careful when you have a weak president because he will have no power to say to those he sees and feels to be above him.I hope RB is a strong leader.

  23. Libyan Ambassador to Zambia Khalifa Omar Swiexi said the gesture is aimed at helping to develop the Zambian agricultural sector.

That wasn’t a gesture, that was a hint. Now let’s hope that hint is big enough for the government to run with.

Now if the government set up a few tractor factories too…

  24. Several Tractors? Give as the exact number ba LT so we can decide whether they are several or not! N-way thanx be to Khadafi.

  25. 9. Mwiponta Mukabwela,

Since i was born i only hear other countries making donations to Zambia. Now My question is, when is Zambia going to donate something to other countries?

Every year, Zambia donates $4 billion worth of copper and cobalt to Australia, the UK, the USA and India. For that donation, Zambia receives $600 million in ‘Donor Aid’, of course with strings attached. I’m using the 2004 numbers.

And it is a donation, because Zambia received only $6 million in taxes in that year.

  26. I totally agree with # 35. these guys could be on a mission to extend their territories. One tractor, one province. Eight provinces gone already only Eastern to remain, guess who did the distribution

  27. Engines Bbuloko #24 you are talking sense my friend. Our main problem is that lack of continuity by our leaders. I’ve noted that there were many good projects that KK initiated(e.g. Chipata raiway project) which were completly ignored by the Zaire born Chiluba, and honesty, honestly. There were also many good projects which the Congo Chiluba started which Mwanawasa’s government failed dismaly. You see, there is just no follow up on the projects. Its like whoever gets the job thinks they can change the country in 10 years, which we all know is not possible. I THINK our constitution should be designed to only allow the new elected presidents to be sworn in after a month or two so that the new and old administrations can have enough time to exchange important documents and information.

  28. #34 Kawalala…you are welcome. Tili pa EU so you are my mate. What can be done to get govt serious. Honestly planning maize production is a very simple thing. My grade 9 friends are growing more than 2000 bags each year per person in the Mkushi farming block. Costain Chilala a single man does it…but Govt fails…am maulesi! The other day I almost passed out when I heard them talking about biofuel…failing to grow amataba then they talk about jatropa! awe mwandi kubankolesha, kuti wapena pofye!!!!

  29. #41…I totaly agree with you. Not ifi ati results anounced at 10hrs…pa 12hrs at swearing in….Zambia the Real Africa oh! kenya too!

  30. When your neighbor or friend brings gifts to your house, you gratefully receive them and say thank you. It is no different in diplomatic circles.

  31. Kawalala i told you that it was just too much of that nonsense. There are people who are nambala 1 or 2 Nine Chale,Martworld Nice guy,Sonny Erickson and Baby C.These are found on nambala 1 most of the time. But i have never seen them behave like the way you did yourself.Thats why i said most of these new bloggers are full of nonsense.Even LT has seen that, thats why they have deleted your nonsence.Waka fye from # 1 to 10,alenda fye ififine without handling the topic kuti fya ifyamano. I like doing nambala nanikane but not the way you did it.You are new here,so tekanya and learn how we do things on this blogg.

  32. 46 Chewe, take it easy and do not let the ‘new’ bloggers get you all hot and bothered. At the end of the day, this a public forum whether anyone likes it or not, and so you should expect all sorts. From time to time, there will be new names. A lot of people are on holiday and now have more time to exercise their keyboard skills. After a week or so, you will have the ‘usual core group’ dominating again….until a real juicy topic comes up e.g. what happened from the time between LPM’s demise and the presidential elections. So do not be intimidated mate.

  33. LT you need to write a serious article on the just ended elections. Just as other bloggers have noted how can a president be sworn in at such supersonic speed??? :d/:d/:d/

  34. This tractor donation has ‘ropes’ attached to it. Nothing comes for free just like the IMF loans that will enslave us till Jesus comes!!!
The next time Gaddafi asks for copper, the zed govt will just oblige coz of the tractors…

  35. GOOD 2#FIND OUT WHERE CHINTALA LASTLY SERVED AS THE DIPLOMAT,
WHY WAS HE FIRED,AND THE DUTIES CHINTALA PERFORMED DURING THE JUST ENDED ELCTION’S.THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY THOSE TRACTOR’S ARE IN ZAMBIA TODAY. :d/:d/:d/:d/

  36. A Country in a desert has more food than a country with plenty arable land and rains even helping them to farm…this world Gentlemen and Ladies…nimakala nguzu!

  37. i hope those tractors dont end up at somebody’s farm .No wonder they are pretending not to know the number donated. THIEVES!

  38. Iwe RB. ubukuluku bwa mu UNIP tawakaleke? Tell people the truth. Today we have unlikely donors-Nigeria, yesterday, and today its Libya with un disclosed number of tractors? Well, Libya is capable of donating. But, they can’t fail to count the number tractors they donating. Tell the nation the truth. What are they going to get in return. Zambians are sleepy. Its either the politicians tell them the amount they have borrowed from World Bank. But never disclose how that money is spent. Apart from themselves, no one has access to the expenditure records. Zambians, wake up. They will tell you the name of the items donated by Libya but not the number of items.

  39. cntd. Worse still, they will never disclose the full deal. Zambians, its time we cut our slumber. Look politicians are not special humans. In fact most of them are sleepy and dull. They are just like you and me. Only we did not chose to be politicians. Or we did not have an opportunity. They must be telling us whatever, how, and where they are going to spend your money. Zambians must have full knowledge on all deals entered into with other countrys and organisation, with an exception, maybe with some military deals.

  40. The quality of reporting among our journalists in Zambia leaves much to be desired. They are not analytical and most of the verbatim reporting has a lot of grammatical errors. It points to one thing about our country since Kafupi got power from KK – the quality of education has really gone down. It is an issue that requires urgent attention by a leader with a vision. And that leader cannot be a man like Sata or Miyanda or any of these so called semi-illiterates.

  41. cntd. Don’t let presidents and all other politicians climb into your pants and start crawling and hanging on your balls. Its unacceptable. They get used to that pretty quick and easily and then start taking you for stu p id i di ots. If you look at the previous presidents. Bonse fye bafumapofye nga pakunya. Ukwabula nokubombela abantu ifintu. Even rb akafumapofye nga pakunya. Takabombele abantu. He is just feeding himself. In the end he will burst with a stroke due to overfeeding. Zambians wake up. Start asking for the full details of the deals entered into with other parties. You may be suprised that few if not all have nothing to do wit your welbeing.

  42. Yesterday Wesley Ngwenya, wrote a letter to the rb. Hestrongly advised him about deligating work. It has downed to me that, after all rb didn’t read that letter at all. Because if he did, I think prominently officiating the receiving of SEVERAL TRACTORS makes him look silly. The silly job would have been the right candidate for deligation to either one of his tea boys, tubena Mulongoti, Teta, and the likes.

  43. RB does not seem to know what he is doing. I only hope people are not stealing already. Post, please dig deeper because the likes of Mulongoti cannot be trusted to be honest. They need a watcher.

  44. Listen to this song (PF SATA A TEKE)
and tell me the mindset of these people. They are all blind followers who think one man can lead alone. Everything shows that this man is a very strong dictator who will not delegate to anyone. Don’t waste your votes on pipe dreams – SATA is a dictator.

  45. Ladies and Gentlemen, lets us not be excited about these tractors whose figure is not even known.
For how long has our government been receiving donations in form of equipment i.e from China for road works,Vehicles from Britain,Korea and so on.
These tractors are going to be abused just like they are abusing fertiliser meant for small scale farmers.
There is no proper monitoring system in our government.
Iam sure they have already shared these tractors by now.
    God help the poor.

  46. I feel very embarrased for our President to be receiving tractors, and for that matter the handover took place at state House.
    Guys,Kusebana uku.
State House has be been turned into a play ground for even useless activities.
The event could have been conducted at Dr.Chituwos Offices or at Ben Kapitas residence.
I think landscaping going at State House is not gonna help with these so called several tractors!

  47. It appears we have serious tragedy of lacking leadership. Trust us in 2011. We shall provide that cutting edge leadership which has eluded Zambians for the past 17 years. Chiluba was the worst thief Zambia has ever known but we shall show Zambians what type of leadership can help develop our brilliant country. We shall inspire people, educate people, build systems, inform people and make them feel they own govt policies and make sure they understand where we need the country to be after 5 years. Inspire people to aspire and feel part of the wealth of the nation. Watch us in 2011 the team is almost ready, come on board!!

  48. #66D.T. THATS HOW CHEAP THE PRESIDENCE OF ZAMBIA HAS BECOME. ONLY THE OTHER DAY. AN AMERICAN GIRL DONATED LABOUR TO LANDSCAPE PLOT 1. AND THAT DONATION CEREMONY TOOK PLACE IN PLOT 1 PREMISES. BUT, THE QUESTION IS DON’T YOU THINK PENTAGON CAN SEND SOMEONE IN THE NAME OF LANDSCAPER TO PLANT MICRO-SIZED MICROPHONES, CAMERAS AND OTHER SECURITY GADGETS THAT CAPTURE INFO STRAIGHT TO THE US EMBASSY? MAYBE THATS HOW ZAMBIANS ARE PAYING FOR THAT ‘FREE’ LANDSCAPING SERVICE. ITS HIGH TIME ZAMBIANS STARTED BEING SECURITY CONSCIOUS. IN FACT RB SHOULD HAVE FIRST ASKED THE PEOPLE WHO PAY FOR HIS RENT WHETHER THEY CANT AFFORD AN ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPING AMOUNT FOR THIS AMERICAN.

  49. #66, landscaping at state house shows how corrupt your Minister of Works and supply can be. When that woman asks for a favour about a contract, will both RB and his Mulongoti refuse? Watch Mulongoti as I have strong feeling he is very corrupt. Watch the space but get him before he gets us. Mulongoti is not at all Ministerial material, please let us see it for ourselves. Even the most useless characters who were in UNIP were a lot better than Mulongoti. Our team will clean up all this mediocrity and stop the rot.

  50. OTHERWISE, I CAN’T IMAGINE A ZAMBIAN WHO LIVES IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD OF WHITE HOUSE OFFERING SIMILAR FREE-OF-CHARGE SERVICE TO OBAMA AND LEAVES THE WHITE HOUSE WITHOUT SECURITY ALERT. GUANTANAMO WILL BE YOUR DESTINATION ON AN EXPRESS TICKET B4 AN INVESTIGATIONS ABOUT YOUR INTENSIONS ARE INITIATED. I AM SURE IT WONT TAKE LONG B4 RB STARTS ASKING FOR FREE HAIR CUTS.

  51. The current crop in MMD is not the right team of people to deliver development. Mwanawasa used to treat most of them like kids because he knew they could not be trusted. No wonder Magande refused to serve under RB but there are a few people within MMD who we think could be trust5ed in 2011 but I must stress they are very few. We need to scrutinise them very carefully. Why is VJ so quiet? I thought he would be the most outspoken on issues. And why is Chiluba always celebrating? Was Mwanawasa his real problem or are Zambians the complainants? Chiluba must not be allowed anyhwhere near power. He is a very bad egg.

  52. #70 THE ANNOINTED ONE IN. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THE MOST USELESS CHARACTERS WHO WAS IN UNIP IS TODAY YOUR PRESIDENT. SMALL WONDER tu MULONGOTIs OF THIS COUNTRY CAN EVEN BE APPOINTED TO A MINISTERIAL POST. “BIRDS OF IDENTICAL PLUMMAGE…”

  53. #73, Peter. We have a serious tragedy of leadership. I cant argue but we were basically trapped between two hard places. Our late LPM had appointed this man RB to the Veep position and he just used his powers of incumbence to ascend to the presidency. It is a sad state of affairs but SATA was not a viable alternative. HH lacked capacity in terms of team working with other tribes, he could have been a better alternative.

  54. these are nations you supposed to be signing oil deals with kawala iwe and not nigerians….! come 2011 our generation shall be in charge..God help us.

  55. 74..it is now our turn to step up…sata is now in old? hh was better alternative. it is time to put the old un productive seniors into retirement…come on guys ! let us think beyond tribal lines! let us vote for our generation come 2011..god help us!

  56. # 9 Mwiponta Mukabwela,

Zambia has spent US $7 billion to liberate the whole Southern Africa i.e Mozambique, South Africa, Angola, Namibia and Zimbabwe. We gave US $20 million to late Obote of Uganda to dislodge Amin and have given humanitarian support to the palestine people through late Chairman Arafat’s PLO.We are currently contributing a fight against cholera in Zimbabwe.

  57. i was never interested in politics! but come rain or sun shine i shall be challenging the current mp for dunduwezi constituiency in kalomo! Ghandi-“be the change that you want to see in the world.” I am now being part of the change process. just look out for the most handsome face on the ballot and you shall know that kawalala has landed? peace be with you and come join us….rule our generation….! i was born in 1970! and our time is now!

  58. #77, I agree with you on team building without marginalising other people from other tribes. I believe we need to clearly address these issues about tribies without any animosity. One Zambia one nation should make us trust each other’s abilities more. But mediocre people like Sata and Mulongoti would bring in tribes and discourage voters on these grounds. Our team will listen to everyone and assess their attitudes towards other tribes because that is important. We still have mediocrity among our politicians even those who want to join our team. But we shall try to be very careful to stick with issue based politics.

  59. imwe pplleeaassse y sata and mulongoti? look sata and mulongoti differed over Banda. mulongoti is not tribal he went for banda. sata did not cry foul to mulongoti. alamuletasha. sata is surrounded by scott, lubinda where do these come from. its is you and your hh who are problematic. i know you are my tonga brother awe lets stop this habit mapenzi ali kumusanza…plizi ndakomba basa. kamuleka mabemba. sata a mulongoti bachitanzi.

  60. Good gesture by the Libyan govt but how many tractors where donated.Several means many but can we be told the number.already RB and BC have shares before distribution.who is going to benefit?

  61. #28! It’s highly possible. We may be heading towards islamisation!!! Imagine Muhammed Musa Neddy, ha ha ha!

  62. Are Libyans Africans? Geographically speaking, YES, but culturally they are Arabs; and there is no way they can accept that they are Africans. Walya iwe!!!

  63. Libyan Leader Muammer Gaddaffi has an hidden agenda for Africa. He yearns for United States of Africa so that we can have one strong army. For what?people please wake up.He is just lobbying Zambia’s support for that cause.

  64. # 49! The man wont ask for copper, which is of less value; he will ask for places to build mosques! Currently there is a hidden agenda to make African into an Islamic continent. Although Zambia is a declared Christian nation, mosques are beginning to be scattered in many places, and our political leaders are quite naive; it’s all in hte name of religious freedom!

  65. #9, Mwiponta Mukabwela,

I know you have been well answered with regards to the donations Zambia has made to other countries. I’m simply adding one more thing to the list.

Zambia donated to the flood victims of Mozambique. Africans helping each other, what a lovely scenario.

  66. That is good news. Even one tractor is a donation. The reporter must have given the number of tractors. I wish to that the libya Govt for thinking about Zambia. KK made that good relationship and should not be destroyed by you guys.

Libya we need oil as well. What do you think you Bloggers?

Libya is a big country in Africa.

  67. #97.Zimandola 1 – Those are our friends. No hidden agenda. When KK said I spoke with my friend in Libya and Iraq, He meant a good cause.

  68. LT; could you also report on who is going to get the tractors? How is the government going to ensure that the poor farmers do have access to these tractors? This is important news to report on. The information that the government has received several tractors is not so interesting if we do not know more on how the resources will be distributed.

  69. #100,Pabwato!

The most important news is that we have received several tractors (someone suggested 8) to boost food production. Do you have any suggestions of how the 8 tractors could be distributed?

  70. Number 9; and others: no mention of zambia helping other countries. zambian goverments are beggers only. it is shameful!! no wonder the bishop of Kasama urged many zambians not to imitate a government of beggers. the bishop was right, actually very right. zambians must strive for self-reliance through hard worker; not to depend on begging like Rupiah Banda who is slowly selling our nation to the Moslems. zambians please open your eyes.

  71. Here we go again,Receiving and receiving and no foresight for our own future!!!
=9 Mwiponta mukabwela, you really have a point and notice how Libya has penetrated Uganda because of receiving donations which weaken your moral standing,i really cry for Zambia!!! Does it mean our leaders cant read through the lines, its a spiritual battle we are engaging ourselves in and we seem not to care about the outcome.
Why cant Libya Donate to Somalia or any other country without the means to sustain themselves??
It bits me!!And you remain the judge

  72. See because of such donations Libya has managed to spread their islamic ideologies into Uganda, once a prosperous christian Nation has now turned into a country without identity religious wise!!
These chaps have an agenda of spreading islam into country like zambia,a christian nation to dilute what is their already!!Remember the devil can not what he has already but what he wants to achieve and have!! we are in this predicarment with God because the snake gave a fruit to Eve!!! cant these chaps wake up?

  73. HEY! WHATS THIS I HEAR, AGAIN? IS IT TRUE THAT THOSE TRACTORS ARE IN EXCHANGE FOR, NOT COPPER, BUT URANIUM? TELL US SOMETHING YOU GUYS IN THE KNOW. AND CAN’T WE MINE URANIUM FOR OUR OWN CONSUMPTION? I MEAN ZAMBIA REALLY NEEDS A BETTER SOURCE OF ENERGY THAN THE LOAD-SHADING ZESCO HYDRO SOURCE.

  74. Word up #107! No matter what they have donated, Libya has always proved to be genuinely concerned about the development of the African continent. Gadaffi is not just a leader of “lip-service” unlike some others we know.

  75. “IT’S immoral to condemn Chiluba before he is convicted by the courts of law, local government and housing minister Benny Tetamashimba has said.”
SO, LONDON COURT CONVICTION IS A FAKE ONE? TELL US THE TRUTH. AND WHO SOUGHT THE LONDON JUDICIAL SERVICE-IS IT NOT YOUR GOVT? DO YOU GUYS STILL WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY OUT OF THAT CASE. ZAMBIANS ARE BETTER OFF WITH THAT CASE FROZEN AND FORGOTTEN. ITS ANOTHER MONEY SPINNER FOR THIEVES IN ZAMBIA.

  76. I am wondering what this man is going to do, about the unemployment that has escalated since the closure of the mines, and a ratio of only 400k in formal employment is shocking. RB should tell us what he is doing in creating those jobs he promised as these tractors , where he is in the thick of them should ve been a minister, thanking Gaddafi, ( although its a suspicious) RB doesnt seem hard working IMO, in the last 2 months he has made unwarranted headlines.

And all, how refreshing, not to see mentally retards in this first part of blogs as number…..Anyone knows where that guy Pinkly is? 😛

  77. #112, INFECTED MEAT,

Learn to forgive and forget. Smile :d

Check out George Bush’s English: Childrens do learn when standards are high; They misunderestimated the compassion of our country; I talk to families who die.

So when you make mistakes such as (although its a suspicious; And all, how refreshing; a ratio of only 400k in formal employment is shocking), i understand and appreciate the effort we all make to communicate using this foreign language.

  78. I thought this Kawalala just repented on the other thread, now such insults! Are you playing with the saving Grace? I fear for you, my brother. You can joke with us but not with the Almighty.

  79. #69 Your concerns are right but when you look at it carefully, what information can be got from a hidden mic at Plot 1? RB snoring ? 😕

  80. #116, Ba Maureen,

I actually saw the signs of deliverance on the other thread (wise men still seek him) where the new name for Kawalala is Wabwino. I’m maulesi. @-)@-)@-)@-)@-)

  81. mmmh
A ratio if 400k our population which is 12million, i would say
    Do your maths Biggie….

Just my perception of Nambala… I will always unrepentitive in that regard, and thus , those characters will just about feel my thong every time. Nine Chale what are you smoking?..

  82. #118,thank you mr pharisee, yesterday you fueled beefed btwn infected meat and your group, now today you want to be a mr righteous cause its sunday, just stay quite or I jump on you,am waiting for chewe,Dont speak on God if you aint serious about religion boy

  83. Trcators alone do not grow food especially when they are handed to a country which has no leader. These are only seven tractors and who is going to benefuit anyway. The government must be ashamed and why does it has to take the Nyama Soya to receive them? This MMD makes me sick because they have been cheating Zambian people for a very long time while fattening their bank accounts. It is not fair and those women who dance for politicians at the airport must stop, they are the laziest people in our ccountry. Instead of working you go to the airport to dance for someone, that is silly behaviour.

  84. Where these donations done at statehouse? How appaling.

Also how are these 8 tractors being distributed, and whose farms are they goign to? Wouldnt it have bene nice to receive the monies?

  85. #130 Its like the divorce he had with first wife has derailed the guy. I am not sure about the RSA chick though. What about ba Pule ?

  86. 124, INFECTED MEAT,

The problem is not with my mathematics. It is with your communication skills (or is it blogging skills). Check this out:

A ratio if 400k our population which is 12million

and a ratio of only 400k in formal employment is shocking- you cannot detect a ratio in this sentence.

Lets discuss more serious issues not English. Like i said, its a foreign language and we are doing great, all of us on this forum.

  87. Ba pule for all i read lost all his kids to his ex miss. I didnt know Kalu was divorced as it was not quiete publicised.

A lesson on marrying foreign women…

  88. 134. I agree i didnt quiete finish that sentence . I am glad you detected and helped cheers. 400k/ 12 million was my ratio, you wan to help with the percentage there sir?

  89. #124 Infected Meat, I have never smoked & I’m not smoking anything, bro. so please don’t throw me into the same pot with such characters as kawalala.
When we play our “nambala one” game, we are just making ourselves giggle & we don’t mean to harm anyone. But what this kawalala is currently displaying here are some serious demonic manifestations.

  90. UNTIL WE START TO GIVE TO OTHER COUNTRIES TOO, THAT’S WHEN WE WILL BE BLESSED AND DEVELOP. IMAGINE, WE CAN’T EVEN DONATE BOTTLE OF WATER TO OUR ESTEEMED NEIGHBORS, THE ZIMBABWE….SHAME ZAMBIA.

  91. #135 These white women are just problematic. They dont have ‘user manuals’ like the ones pa Zed. Ask Ba Pule

  92. #137,INFECTED MEAT,

No sir, my mathematics is just as poor as my English.

Just out of curiosity, are you married? Marriage is more serious than English and Math. :d

  93. INFECTED MEAT

Kulu last time was seeing a ka white woman from South Africa, they are actually together on the organising committee for 2010 Fifa world cup.

  94. #138 Dont be bothered by Infected Meat…..he uses Dial-up so he cant compete with the ‘Broadband’ posse !

  95. Yes i was married last year Biggie, I am not 23 till tommorrow, Its my B/day wish me one 🙂

Nine chale you take things to your heart if you were ‘gigling’ you should keep up the work. You have thrown some serious big words their that i dont understand, should i take them as giggle or disrepsepct?

Biggie what is a zambian doing in Japan?

  96. #142 No we dont want to know what venture they are on. What we want to know is that is he married……ala lya bushe ?!

  97. 143 Ba maureen that was a ‘low blow’ OUCH mayo…. I respect women, i will throw in a kiss instead, iam sure my wife wont mind there x

  98. Matworld

Why is Kalusha not into black women. There is nothing that inceses me more than a white man, marrying a zambian woman, let alone, any black woman. How appaling ba Kalu..

  99. To my Fellow bloggers.

  102. 144, INFECTED MEAT,

To a foreigner or a Zambian?

Please do not always assume that the flags represent the location of an individual. They can be very misleading.

  103. 152

A foreigner but in me defence i have known my wife since we were 14 and 13 respectively. And she is now purely naturalised Zambian..

    Where are you then Jim?

  104. happy blessed sunday bloggers. Too much arguing over simple things, the LOZIS say …’you dont look a gift horse in the mouth’
    And Petersen says;

    Sate(thirty) yafika za rent ulibe
    ba kupasa tandizo
    mwati unga kane iwe
    si unga kane iwe…

  105. Tell me bloggers, did Libya donate married foreign women after donating the tractors or what?
whats the connection between tractors and Kalu’s wife and marriege issues?

    GAZZIE is confused…

  106. Mattie, Gazzie is good and tell me where are the babes before these guys infect us with ‘infected meat’

  107. I hope that as these tractors have come they will not form the basis of making a plan, but that there is already a plan in which these items will fit.
It would not be prudent for anyone to get a loan and then you sit down and say so where do i start from, where do i get land now that I have money? That should never be the case.

  108. Muammar Gaddafi just wants to lord it over other African countries with his misplaced dream of a US of africa. Gaddafi tried with Arab nations and they saw through him and rejected him. He switched his horizon to African. He is not very genuine. He must be dismissed with the contempt he deserves. Forget his tractors, his dates and other manouvres through his representative Khalifa Swixei.

  109. Ala Ba Zambia kwena, Do we have to get handouts all time from outside? Why not allow Libya to open up businesses in Zambia that would include “selling tractors” rather than receiving “donations”. Who will really benefit from these “Tractors”. Ba Gadafi ngati munvera chinyanja, bwerani pa Zed musegule “business” elo bantu bazatenga Ma “Loan” yogulira ma tarakita. Aya mwalita, sitiyaona.

  110. Ba LT,

Why allow porno attached to a noble Passport conference call debate on your site? I click the listen to link only to get porno pictures pop ups. That is not honorable to the blog many are starting to call their meeting place on issues. Please detatch the the debate from porno or knock it all together.

  111. I can never be annointed by Chiluba but only Zambians who have seen what I can do. Travel world wide and ask about the annointed one for Zambia in 2011.
