HH’s UPND gains 300 defectors from RP party

Share

About 300 Reform Party,RP, members led by the Party’s Former Chairman for elections and strategic Planning, John Ziba, have defected to the United Party for National Development,UPND.

Mr. Ziba said the Opposition UPND was the only Party in the country that would offer meaningful leadership.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Ziba said the RP members decided to join the UPND because it was the only party with a vision to develop the country.

Mr. Ziba accused the ruling MMD of failing to meet the expectations of people of Zambia.

In welcoming the defectors UPND President, Hakainde Hichilema, said the UPND was now growing its membership in readiness to form the next government after 2011.

The UPND President challenged President Rupiah Banda to implement programmes that focus at reducing poverty levels in the country.

He has since called upon Zambians to condemn tribal politics and instead promote unit in order to achieve the required development in the country.

And Mr Hichilema said he will soon hold a meeting with President Rupiah Banda over the global financial crisis.

Mr. Hichilema said the UNPD wrote to President Banda to give ideas to government on how to address the global financial crisis.

He said President Banda replied that he was willing to hold talks with the opposition leader when he returns from the African Union Summit in Ethiopia.

He said there is need for the opposition to demonstrate maturity in handling national issues by sharing ideas with the government.

  1. “He said President Banda replied that he was willing to hold talks with the opposition leader when he returns from the African Union Summit in Ethiopia.”

RB come back home imwe!! Real work is awaiting you ku Zed!! :d

  2. Cutey Wifey welcome!!

I tend to like the way UPND tend to always want to give ideas to govt. I hope RB will take heed coz I really think he needs more ideas than what MMD seem to have.

Obama has three GOP stalwats in top jobs in his administration. Thats the way UPND, sometimes we must forget petty politiking and offer real solutions. We are waiting for the outcome!

Where is Bob Sichinga and Patrick Chisanga, anyone knows????

  3. #7, Dont think so. could be a tribal move who knows? such characters/cadres never cease to change camps. They are the same old song from Kaunda era..
If I was HH I wouldnt celebrate at all because they wiil defect sooner than they came in.

  4. Iwe jamaco, why cant you comment once and give chance to others to share their view other than giving piecemeal comments in 5 slots alone. Shows that you have a fragmented brain.

  5. This is a good move by RP and Mr. Ziba. We need to help people with fresh brains to bring change to our contry. HH may be the answer to the problems we are facing.

  6. Thanks #8′
Party cadres are well known to defect from one party to another. These are called political prost..utes. Those ideas from HH to govt..,it depends on who is listening to those ideas.

  7. # 9. Cutey, your flag, is it not possible to analyse things in zed without stooping to stinky tribal sentiments???? no harm intended but I think we have to grow past such!

  8. # 11,
they will never stop mentioning your name’ just move on and dont forget to contribute wisely.

    Back to the topic.

I am waiting for the day when I will never see tribal politics in Zedi.
Where did this ‘Tribal politics’ originate from if I may ask???

  9. reform party ?my foot i have never heard of such a godamn party, anyway in zambia there are just too many briefcase parties with the husband, wife and children as members with probably the husbands drinking mate as another(who can defect if he stops buying him beer). :d

  10. LT why is this information below missing from your news?

USA PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA FOR UPND PRESIDENT HH – Hakainde Hichilema.

“Mr. Obama thanked Mr. Hichilema for congratulating him and hoped he will join him in creating a better world for all people.”

for Zambia. The WAY FORWARD in 2011.

  11. “About 300 Reform Party,RP, members led by the Party’s Former Chairman for elections and strategic Planning, John Ziba, have defected to the United Party for National Development,UPND. Great stuff Mr Ziba and your fellow former RP party members, please do door-to-door campaigns for the U-Team to consolidate its position before the 2011 tripatite elections.

Together YES WE ALL SHALL. If US President B. Obama has seen sense in working with president HH, why can’t Zambians see it. This is time to develop Zambia and not mere politicking. President HH give President Banda real data.

  12. 17. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe

Many thanks for the Update !! At least we know that the world is watching!! Just as Obama is willing to bring about change in the US, he is eagerly looking for global players!! It would surely be a sad case if Zambia remained behind as the world (led by Obama’s Example) moved towards a better Future for ALL!

  13. Following #17, I am sad the LT (which clearly showed its support for the Undereducate Sata by voting that it was a biggest disapoint not for Sata MC to win the 2008 Presidential elections), have deliberately not reported the news about US President Obama’s message to president HH and the UPND – a news item that was probably happened at the same event where president HH talked about meeting President RB Banda to offer him solutions over the job losses linked to the Credit Crunch.

This is sad as LT is slowly beginning to behave like the POST (Sata’s current Imagebuilders) by failing to release news as it is supposed to but choose to report things with an ulterior motive.

  14. #14,
HH himself in this article mentions tribal lines ..”he has since called upon Zambians to condemn tribal’ politics”. I was just reminded of what I have heard before…

no offense meant to anyone .

  15. 19. Jamaco greetings and great stuff.

Whether LT and the POST choose not to fairly cover president HH and the UPND, news will always trickle down to the Zambian people and voters, normal voters, will make an educated vote in 2011 tripatite elections.

As for “He has since called upon Zambians to condemn tribal politics and instead promote unit in order to achieve the required development in the country”, this is where Zambians MUST begin to show that we a Nation of 71 tribes with common problems to solve together and not as individuals or (a) particular tribe(s). Surely do we need people from outside Zambia, like US President Obama, to show us who is a man to elect as our President?

  16. Im glad that only the UPND has officially started campaigning for the 2011 tripartite elections following that launch of the 2011 campaign by president HH in Ndola last year.

Indeed the remaining 2 and a half years is enough to do the job, especially with President Obama and former Zambian President FTJ Chiluba having joined the UPND campaign Team by clearing the UPND’s HH from any mud that some unteachable characters throw at him or try hard to place on him HH.

One Time, =;, the Way Forward for Zambia. Calino, ndamwaika.

  17. # 24. Cutey, I hear you now, just thought you were heading into the forbinen path and was woundering coz thats unlike you. :)>-:)>- always cutey wifey!

  18. Having been here for a number of yrs,i have not heard people defecting from one party to the other, most famillies have been in political parties for generations and the young people who chose to join other parties grow old and are loyal to their parties…they dont even have so many weak political parties like we do in zambia.. i think that most of these small parties should join bigger parties so we can have 3 or 4 parties of which are strong, reliable and can stand firmly not this circus we see everytime its elections.the constutution should stipulate what would happen to MPs, consellors who defect so we can have order.

  19. # 29. Supergal, you can say that again! thanx for amplifying my flag at 22. People in Zambia tend to join parties for material reasons percieved benefits and not coz they believe in the ideology or policies of a party.

  20. i think the pproblem is that peiple look to politics for wealth creation and jobs..most politicians and cadres dont even know why they belong to the party…when they can find their hole or cant fight the bull in their way then they defect and dont do it well, its a package of names and insults…lack of maturity and intergrity is huge in our politics.worse of it all the cadres do the dirty work and go back to their usual lives without positive change dispite screamin or is it insult their lungs out in the scortching sun, they cant even demand for accountability of promises made by their leaders…its even sad when you learn that they were paid in chibuku form on and on empty stomachs.

  21. hey ENGINE i repeated YOUR LINES as i had not yet read your post,,,it good to see that alot more people share this view

  22. “It was not fear of being sacked from the Republican vice-presidency that I gave up the job to Levy. It was just a practical thing. In the year I’m talking about, Tetamashimba was still in the UPND and therefore he has just expressed serious ignorance of what went on, although I am aware that whilst he was secretary general of UPND, the MMD used him extensively to obtain information on the goings on in UPND,” Kavindele said. source The Post.

Now UPND congratulations for discipling ALL your former Secretary Generals, they were behind your downfall. Please choose a trusted one this time preferrably a tycoon. These poor chaps are easy bought by MMD.

I do not need reactions from Moscow,

  23. I can’t believe that RP(rejected people)has 300 members 2 defect???All that??so it even has all thoz??LOL..anyway,thoz r just jokers with no impact watsoeva probably don’t even vote

  24. Open letter to former UPND members
Please return to your party, see how it is difficult to join other parties. Please Bob, Chisanga,Lubinda, Saki we need you. Teta, Liato and Shakafuswa first destroy MMD and later come back. Kaheya first join and destroy PF and come back.

  25. # 33. Supergal, I have to be honest, I have fallen in love with your posts on this thread….we are definately on the same page. Your post at 31 is just brialiant and I totally agree.

    # 34. Zambia, you are spot on. Mazoka and friends did a good job in forming UPND, they were just let down by fortune seekers.

If people demand accountability, scrutinise the past of their leaders and stop blind allegencies and being used , we can make it in Zambia but then am just repeating what one supergal said!

  26. About 300 Reform Party,RP, members led by the Party’s Former Chairman for elections and strategic Planning, John Ziba, have defected to the United Party for National Development,UPND.

Mr. Ziba said the Opposition UPND was the only Party in the country that would offer meaningful leadership.

Yes the only party for the new generation which can bring develpment we believe and we can trust. VIVA UPND VIVA HH 2011

  27. #38 Engine Bbuloko..wayamba uku ponya ama spanna online kuli super gal..easy butta..bola panshi na bepi bateye ko!!LOL hahaha..

  28. # 41. PATE KADA =))=))=)) I was just appreciating a well thought out post. Just like for #40! and those coming from Zambia.

  29. It is my considered view that thoz ppl voted for him coz he comes from there not that they are card carrying members of RP(that’s if RP has party cards)U will note that the voting patterns were different for presidential & parliamentary candidates.People vote for the PERSON & not the party in certain cases.A case in point is Sylvia Masebo in 2001 winning her seat in Chongwe becoz she was popular.Admittedly,i’m not in a position 2 speculate on the membership of RP..u can educate me if u have sum data??LOL

  30. United States of America President Barrack Obama has written to United Party for National Development-UPND-Leader Hakainde Hichilema urging African leaders to unite in a spirit of peace.
UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema confirmed the development to MUVI TV News today.

Check MUVI TV Site for more details. Infact this ‘letter’ was sent as part of mail merge to all losers including ba tata ba McCain, cycle mata and Dan Pule

    Ichikwela aba Tonga !

Why not write President RB Banda of Zambia whom I believe wrote a congrats message to US President Obama about such an important message to the African people?
Does this imply that president HH is more of a unifying factor to Zambians and Africans than President RB Banda?
Is it that US President Obama believes that younger HH, 46 yrs, is better placed to do this task?

  32. 48. Supergal

I just realised how blessed we Zedians are!! We were given Akabwali !!!

I thought Chewe was joking, but if you think about it !!

In the middle of Europe akabwali sure? Awe kutotela fye :d

  33. #50 No i don’t think that Obama believes 46 year old HH is in a better position to perform the functions of republican president. He was merely being couteous by replying to him as i’m sure he has done to leaders the world ova who wrote to him. That was just common courtesy & etiquette being shown by Obama & do not get 2 excited picking @ straws.I understand ur joy anyway..easy fella..Come down nw.Anyway,it’s open 2 ur own interpretation 😮

  34. 53. hhe hhe hhe hhe. We all know that President RB Banda, 72 yrs old, congratualted US President B. Obama on his becoming the 44th USA President, but why is it that such an important charge was not committed to Zambian President RB Banda but has been layed in the hands of 46 yr old U-Team president Hakainde Hichilema, HH?
There is nothing about “own interpretation” here. We are dealing with the TRUTH that the US President B. Obama has seen it fit to communicate to his age-mate Zambian brother about the challenges that face us as Zambia, Africa and the World PERIOD
Let those with eye SEE and ears HEAR. I appreciate that some characters are hostile to education or naturally are un-trainable.

  35. #56. Jamaco, Im off until the brother probably masquerading as a woman resurfaces with data that is sensible to respond to.

Have a blessed day and keep well.

Kindest regards to your whole family.

  36. :-\”As zedian just to be sincire HH is the only presidential material have pa zed at the moment and that why obama recognised him period l-)

  37. Two blondes are on opposite sides of a lake. “How do I get to the other side?” “Duh! You ARE on the other side!”

Why can’t a blonde dial 911? She can’t find the eleven

How do you sink a submarine full of blondes? A: Knock on the door.

How does a blonde kill a bird? She throws it off a cliff.

Why was the blonde mad when she got her drivers license back? Because she got an ”F” in S.e.x.

How do you make a blonde laugh on Friday? Tell her a joke on Monday!

GOODNIGHT GUYS. SAY HI TO YOUR BLONDE WIVES O

  38. :”>hey ba maureen am very old on this blog i have been aroud am just watching are you the former first lady???/chilishani…:x

  39. Nice iwe where are you (Country)?

    What time is it uko?

Where wenze u all this time (Since Birth)?

More infos please because I am Curious!!

    Ba Maureen

Imwe I am learning a lot pa LT!! I have now started to see visions.

HH (These letters are used on a Car Number plate from Hamburg)!!

I am begining to like HH just for the sake of a different Zambia!!

The two letters may mean “Freedom at last”.

I am not campaigning but just thinking loud. So please no hangings imwe :d

  40. OK ok twamvela #63 &b58..U having put ur point across & i’ll give u the benefit of the doubt b4 commenting & expressing an opinion. But,what do u think r HH’s chances of scooping the presidency in 2011 in the current political landscape & dynamics obtaining in Z even with ”the supposed favour” from Obama???? The fact that Obama ”maybe”LOL has realised that RB is in the evening of his life is of no consequence 2 the voter in shang’ombo & vubwi or kashikishi who in the final analysis mata @ the polls..just my 2 cents..hahahaha

  41. 67. PATE KADA. The chances of president HH winning the 2011 Zambian presidential elections will be known in 2011 when presidential candidates will file nominations.

At that time, those who will be there will use MATHEMATICS and not just arithmetics to calculate HH’s chance or probability of becoming Zambian President.

  42. 64. Ba Maureen

Imwe you cruck Blonde jokes =))=))=))

Nine Chale won’t be happy!! As for me no Blonde around….. ni Brunettttttttte uwandi!!=))=))=))

  43. 67. PATE KADA. Also, the voting scenario will definitely change from what you saw in the 2006 and 2008 presidential elections because there will be new voters on the scene, those who have turned 18 years old and will register to vote in 2011 elections. Mind you 2011 – 2006 gives you 5 years.
18 + 5 = 23. This means that new voters aged between 18 to 23 years old most of whom are college or university students with some looking for employment or just started working will certainly help in getting votes for president HH if the U-Team tailor their message to reach these young people’s minds just like the Obama campaign team did in the USA.UPND will decide to sponsor HH or not at its convention.

  44. 67. PATE KADA. Democratic UPND might chose another president to led it as a party in 2011. U-Team might maintain president HH but sponsor a fitting woman or some man as its presidential candidate.
Besides this data, there are already people including most LT bloggers who have promised that they will vote for president HH in 2011.
It also depends on how much support the UPND will receive from inside Zambia and Outside. Who know US president Obama might just go to Zambia to meet HH in the 2011 campaign time a thing that could convince voters to vote for HH.
So,it is too early to shout anything useless. Let us wait for the actual votes of 2011 to speak for themselves. Now, just enjoy the show.

  45. # 49. Ba Maureen. You posted that comment on the other thread at #131 and you have repeated it here.

I did not know that you are also a loser! do you think Obama would take time to reply to a person of your tribman’s calibre? grow up and have a life! You are the same guys that keep crying that you dont want tribalism and yet you are Zambia’s biggest tribalist.

What did you mean with you last line at post 131 “Ichikwela aba Tonga !” they probably are better than you bunch of thieves! you make me sick! You probably found yourself in USA through the Bemba axis of plunder

  46. #76 Engine Bbuloko greetings.

Let us leave the tribalist to continue playing the dirty game as they are used to it. For us clever ones, let us continue doing the needful to make sure Zambia has got a President elected on the 50 + 1% threshold by the 71 or so tribes of Zambia that make up our great Nation Zambia.

The tribalist will join us when they will realise that their behaviour is not paying dividends.

The tribalists aim is to see no proper development to our fellow villagers and town dwellers back home in Zambia.

Our aim is to see a better inclusive Zambia where each one’s dreams will be possible by God’s grace.

    Later!

  47. #77 PATE KADA! sorry my man if I over did it but these guys who think that Zambia is only Zambia if their tribes are favoured cheese me off. Zambians should enjoy being Zambias wheather they are Luvale, Lozi or whatever tribe, who cares?

Despite the fact that almost all the plunder suspects are Bembas, no one has stereotyped Bembas as thieves. They should consider this as a favour from the many Zambians who are considerate and learn to respect others.

  48. #79.Engine Bbuloko..No u did not over do it.U hit it right on the spot.We must b able 2 call out what is bad.It is only this way that we can move 4ward.We should not condone foul statements..

  49. #81. Engine Bbuloko and #80. PATE KADA impressive, but now let us make progress for the sake of all Zambians from Zambia’s 72 or so Districts in the 9 Provinces which makes us a State under a Government as we have a population in them of about 12 Million people of diverse backgrounds.

  50. Maestro, you never cease to amuse me.
Have you knocked off from your cleaning job?
SURELY A NORMAL BEING CAN NOT GET EXCITED ABOUT JOHN ZIBA JOINING upnd.
JOHN ZIBA left RP a long time ago after the late LPM appointed Nevers Mumba as VP.
This chap ZIBA was left in the cold coz he lacks strategy.
I can assure you that Ziba is going to be barrier for upnd than a TEAM PLAYER.I PERSONNALLY KNOW THE MAN.
He is block and THINKS h.h WILL BAIL him out.

  51. I believe in best minds. Let’s us use our minds properly Look
@ Japan, It is wat is 2de because of the brains in that country.
HH is the best presidntial material Z can boost of. Let us give him
    chance and support 2 move Z 4ward

  52. 89. Donovanosis, whatever you think as long as I know the TRUTH ABOUT MYSELF and the situation on the ground in Zambia.

I do not have time to waste by disputing non-issues with thick heads who take pleasure in insulting others instead of looking at developing Zambia.

I have some schoolwork to attend to now.

    Have a blissful day!

  53. (From Gadaffis headline)#82 I read the article on HH on the Zambian watchdog. I just have one question ,why are those two men kneeling before him i thought that brought a lot of talk in Zambia when one minister knelt before the former President, well they could be a good reason behind it could you kindly explain. SOURCE: ww w.zambianwatchdog. com/ ? p=1065
    2. #135. New Zambia good you read it for yourself. As for those men kneeling before president HH, they are big enough to answer that question for themselves. And so, I recommend that you try to reach them for a comment. The starting point to find out who they are is ww w.hakainde . com. This is all I can provide for your concerns.

  54. . I hope someone else has a better answer, otherwise I believe my suggestion is the best to do a proper resaerch on your querry.
#91 I like the way you respond to questions in a very diplomatic way.Believe me i really respect you and your contributions, the question was not meant to attack you, i just thought you may have an answer to the question i raised.

  55. #93 and 94. New Zambia greeting and thank you. I think I provided you with the best answer possible and so try them and let us see what will come up from them.

Have some nice blogging. Please, great your family at home.

  56. RP has no 300 members those are just PF cadres.RP died a long time ago.More over we are tired of politicians who just talk and talk and offer nothing. The MMD has delivered to the pipo of Zambia. Some of you were walking without during Kunda and chiluba era but you are driving posh cars and constructing manshon houses.Hey guys give credit where it is due.MMD the only party with vision.

  57. #96 I wouldn`t say MMD has a vision. They are lucky they are more organised obviously because they have been around for some time. Unless these small parties unite, which I can not see happening, they (MMD) will be around for sometime I am afraid.

I hate this. Please wake me up when people are finished. |-)|-)|-)|-)

  58. Engine Bbuloko @ 76, you have really hit the nail on the head of the unwise maureen. keep on teaching these shameless human beings.

next we many may hear SATA ditching his party to join UPND. Watch the pace.
    :-?:-w:-w:-w:-w

  59. Politics is like a game of cards….HH sure knows he is packing a heavy lot and tightly holding them to his chest. UPND is the party the two super powers will have to go to bed with in order to carry the day…IGNORE UPND NOW AT YOUR OWN FATE

  60. I pity HH and those rejoicing Ziba joining UPND (“Up and Down” party) Sooner than Later John Ziba will defect to MMD or another party. Rememebr he was once a campaign Manager for Nevers Sekwila Mumba. He belonged to an Insignificant Party called Reform Party headed by One insignificant Leader’s B.Y & Nevers Mumba. They were an Insignificant lot and Ziba lost lamenatbly his quest to win a parliamentary seat

  61. United States of America President Barrack Obama has written to United Party for National Development-UPND-Leader Hakainde Hichilema urging African leaders to unite in a spirit of peace.
UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema confirmed the development to MUVI TV News today.

Mr. Hichilema says the letter is a reply to the one he wrote to the American President congratulating him on 4th November 2008, on his election victory.
The UPND Leader says the gesture by Mr. Obama is a sign that the American President is willing to work with the people of Africa to foster development.

  62. UPND, the letter from President Obama, whats all the excitment about? If you must know Obama has written letters to prominent people all over the world. I am sure RB has received one aswell, but why should he get excited? Infact the letter is a copy and paste. Just changing addressees. Its great receiving a letter from Obama, but please spare us…….

You people have no confidence in your party. HH is a great guy with brilliant ideas. Oh how I wish someone else could think like him. Too bad 2011 is not his

  63. Jamaco Great guy, goodmorning and congratulations for being number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Engine Bbuloko, 3Rqu, Maestro goodmorning fellow Zambians. Baby C wake up.

  64. # 97, are you uncomfortable with Ziba + 300 joining UPND, would you’ve rejoiced if they joined PF or another Party?
    # 100, are you telling us that HH is using a forged letter letter to this effect?

From the foregoing it looks like HH & UPND have no place in Zambian politics but the question one asks is why?

  65. It will be good for all Zambians if HH will meet RB and provide solutions to Global crisis. Its not a matter of attacking the ruling party only but providing solutions to solve many problems affecting all Zambians. As for Johny Zibazako, that chap is hopeless he was there at State House with late LPM as private secretary and we know why he got fired. Even if numbers matter in politics not the dirty he’s bringing to UPND. Defecting this time campagins got finished now its time for trouble shooting. It would have been a joy if Patrick Chisanga had to come back. Zibazako has smelt something, HH watch out with such defectors. Where is Richard Kapitolo and team.

  66. Dear zedian i know most you will agree with me that we need leadership that HH is offering he is the magical guy who will get us from this mess we are in and i wonder why we pretend not to know the person who can bring zambezi land to its feets again.HH 2011 zambezi land live for ever in prosiperity under HH’ s leadership.

  67. #102 Legend of the Falls. No I’m not saying the letter was forged. I’m simply saying there’s nothing to be excited about. HH sent congratulatory letter to Obama. Millions and millions of people sent letters congratulating the American president and he replied. He sent orginal letters with his magnificent signature, but I’m sure all he did was ask his secretary to copy and paste, with the same message, but just changing the addressees. As an individual and as a Zambian citizen I would get excited. I just didnt expect HH, in his capacity as president of an opposition party to get that excited.

  68. #102 By the way, getting a letter from Obama has no impact on his popularity in Zambia.

HH is a great guy, its a pity he’s popular in areas where people speak tonga. maybe lets work on making UPND less tribal.

  69. 101. SISTER greetings following your “… Maestro goodmorning….” I have been waiting to read your friday threat that Monday you were going to come for me, but todate, wednesday, I haven’t read anything to that effect.

    Have you reformed?

On 106, you wrote “HH is a great guy, its a pity he’s popular in areas where people speak tonga. maybe lets work on making UPND less tribal”, how about HH’s popularity in the Morthwestern province which does not have many Tonga speaking people?

On 108 you used “… Ni pa Zed fye”, which indicates that you are a Bemba frustrated character following to reference to Tonga speaking people on #106.

Please justify that you are a non-tribal.

  70. # 106, the sooner we as progresive Zambians stop living in the past the better for this ailing country. Do you realise who started the tribal issue? Political failures have just taken advantage of this long buried issue as the instigators are longer in UPND but who will it help. Certain political party leaders have dreaful skeletons in their cupboards but because they ahil from a tribe that claims to be owning Zed no one talks about it. The Ostrich burying its head in the sand will scotch the backside of this country as we deserve better.

  71. #112 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe. What do you mean? Reformed to what?

Firstly I dont belong to any tribe. I am a proud Zambian. I’m Tonga, bemba, lozi, lunda, lamba, ila, kaonde, tumbuka etc. Zambian. Lets review everything that I have written on the blog. Never at one time have I leaned to one tribe. I have attacked you because you have directly shown your hatred for the bembas. Noone else has been so open about this. Its old fashioned. Its ancient. Its dangerous. It stinks like your shoes. Tribalism is evil. Please desist from being openly tribal. Lets leave this sort of thing for illitrates who do not understand the consequences.

  72. #116 Sister I posted #115 before your #116.

There is just no need to argue with some people. Do you enjoy being insulted by some deluded person?

  73. 116. SISTER. Following your “#112 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe. What do you mean? Reformed to what?”, in the thread ww w.lusakatimes.c om/ ?p =7940 you wrote:

“Maestro I’ll deal with you on Monday. Pleasant weekend” on comment #247. SISTER.

Today is wednesday and yet on monday, tuesday, untill now you have not dealt with me.

This is the REFORM I am referring to in #112 by “Have you reformed?”

So, have you reformed from your threat on Friday last week indicated above, SISTER?

  74. 116. SISTER, on your “Firstly I dont belong to any tribe. I am a proud Zambian. I’m Tonga, bemba, lozi, lunda, lamba, ila, kaonde, tumbuka etc.” Good for you.

As for me, I am a full Tonga person. My mother is full Tonga too and my late father was Tonga also.

As regards your accusation ” I have attacked you because you have directly shown your hatred for the bembas”, can you SISTER provide proof by quoting my exact words and where the quote is sourced from. Without this you are a NOISY GONG seeking to smear mad at me which won’t stick as their is clean evidence on all my writings that I love all Zambians including all other world Citizens.

So, I am waiting for your proofs!

  75. It’s good to know Banda is ready to meet & talk sensible issues with Hichilema. Now,this John Ziba i believe was very close to the late Mwanawasa & was actually sacked, can’t remember reasons for sacking but he was close to Levy,i didn’t know he had gone to join hands with Sata, interesting.
I also wish to say 150 PF members defecting to UPND will not make any difference when elections come, our party, the UPND needs to reorganise itself at the top,we need new faces right at the top,we need to get rid of the tribalism ”stigma” if we are to be a force like we were when Mazoka was leader but it seems some people within don’t want change,it’s high time we reorganised as a party!

  76. 45 years ago, Kibaki and Michuki were in Cabinet and Kennedy was running
For President. Obama was 1 year old. 45 years later, Kibaki and Michuki
are still in cabinet and Obama is a candidate for the same seat Kennedy was
    running.

In 45 years, Kennedy is dead, we have had Johnson, Carter,
Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Clinton, Bush 1 and Bush 2 in USA in between as
presidents but in Kenya the same guys in their 70’s and 80’s are still
trying to tell Kenyans they can make development models that work?’
    Makes u think??

  77. Zambians should live with time. God has given us a youngman to lead us into the new world order but we are still following recycled politicias like Sata and RB. Very sad. Even the Post and sometimes LT is not helping the country to project progressive ideas. How do you support old tired men surely. There has been no day since the elections when the Post has never carried a story about Sata. But when you read what Sata is saying, its all crap, rubbish. The media, please do o good job of informing the nation and not taking sides. Whether HH doesnot rule this country one day, he has made his point that we must elect young leaders with ticking minds.

  78. #120 Maestro. You must be a short and ugly man who wants to be noticed.

Thank you 3RqU. Surrender is not defeat. I will deal with Ka Maestro later

  79. 124. SISTER thanks for everything including your turn to insulting for this is normal to see from cowards. I will wait for that promised “I will deal with Ka Maestro later’ and all the best in it>

It is however a nice way of running away, but 3 times the same trick which is not working! I am worried if you will ever live up to your plan.

  80. These guys ni ba muselelakwakaba..with so much poverty and unemployment in the country, its only right that one should join any organization that comes up as way of earning an income..they will be the first ones to leave when a hurricane passes over the UPND..feel sorry for them
