  1. What type of a sane coach would play a player of Chris Katongo’s calibre for only 18 minutes when his team is struggling????……No prizes for guessing……It can only be an insane coach.

  2. The European clubs are against Zambia. Sinkala is world class. When Zambia reaches the semi-final or even final of the Africa Cup that is when those useless Europeans will realise what they have been missing. There is no way in hell that crap players like Piennar can or Benjani can find themselves playing regularly in big clubs. Benjanni isn’t even going to the Africa cup. This is total crap. Mayuka is failing trials because he is from Zambia. That is crap.

  3. There is too much bias in Europe. Most of the Vic falls are in Zambia and yet people go to the Zim side. The same with our players. How on earth did Mokena end up at Blackburn. You can clearly tell Billy Mwanza is better than him. Benjanni is not going to the Africa cup. Such is his calibre. What is so special about him? Zambia qualified to the FIFA U-20 world cup and did well. However, none of our players are in Europe. But look at Pato from Brazil. He is not special but he is at AC Milan. Freddy Adu has gone to Benfica but he did not do much at the tournament. That is crap which is frustrating.

  4. It is all about corruption between some agents and the media who can market players thru. publicity even though they are not good enough, in the end they share the cake. Most players are rated so highly on would think they were Pele, Maradona, Platin, Chitalu, Shambulo or Alex Chola. Kwena guys I am tired of the treatment of Zambian players kuno, never the way we will show them. Ka CASOFA nangu ta tu kawinene I won’t even complain, nomba ama Zed players of today (not all) nabo bale kwata ko ka displni, noti ati pantu yabu leading kalapashi mwi ngisha utukato then you become above others, tefyo chaba iyo. Europe is full of corruption especially in football circles, so ine ndolesha ishe mbwa until kukese nai mbi Roger Milla. To be honesty ba fikala bali tumpa, sorry guys na tukana bati naine nanaka ne shi nkumba mwe

  5. #4 I agree with you Freddy Adou is not very special it’s just that the boy got a lot of publicity years back as Ghanaian/American player in US Major league soccer.I saw the boy at the U-20 World Cup hes very ordinary and talk about Pato he can’t much what Messi did at the U-20 in 2005.Pato is also one ordinary player being Brazilian has given him an advantage.Brazil like Zambia only managed to reach the last 16 and the Usa only reached the quarter finals after the struggled to beat Uruguay 2-1 in the last 16. They had to go to extra time.Zambia easily beat Uruguay 2-0.E.Mayuka or Pato talent whys? Mayuka is a better player not because he is Zambian but this is a fact.Pato will go on to be better cos of the exposure and opportunities he’s getting at AC Milan.
Though i think Benjani has improved massively cos of the time hes has spent in Europe.(France/England)

  6. Meanwhile Kalusha Bwalya has submitted his C.v for the vacant Zimbabwe National Soccer team post. He’s amongst others from Germany,France and Brazil who submmited their C.vs.Zifa board chairman Wellington Nyatanga confirmed this to Kickoff S.A Soccer Magazine.Nyatanga and Kalu were seen together at the recent COSAFA Tournament.

  7. Zambian players need agents and management that can market them well in Europe. At the moment most of our players rely on SA agents who are not that exposed and can therefore only find SA clubs for these boys but if they can try on better informed agents who are even able to pressurise the coaches at EU clubs to feature the players.
