Patriotic Front President Michael Sata who was hospitalised in South Africa following a heart attack has returned home.
Mr. Sata said on arrival at Lusaka International Airport, that he had a close shave with death.
“I would have been dead if President Mwanawasa did not personally intervene to ensure my evacuation to South Africa for specialist treatment”, he said.
Mr. Sata was grateful that Dr. Mwanawasa got involved under what he called difficult circumstances.
The PF leader was met on arrival by party Secretary General, Edward Mumbi and several party cadres.
Mr. Sata said President Mwanawasa put everything behind to ensure, he sought treatment from abroad over his heart problem.
He said he is now fit.
And Mr. Sata is scheduled to meet with President Mwanawasa to dialogue on how to address some of the challenges the country is facing.
Mr. Sata told Journalists he realized that the importance of minimizing the current gap between himself and President Mwanawasa for the benefit of the people.
He disclosed that he has been having telephone conversations with Dr. Mwanawasa over the past few weeks and how the duo can build mutual trust.
Mr. Sata said the problems in Zimbabwe could not have risen had President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangarai been on talking terms.
He said he has taken it upon himself because he was leader on of the biggest opposition political party’s in the country.
sounds sensible. came back with better and co-operative thoughts. thats nice. keep it up and get well soon. nice u are back. God heal.
welcome back ba mudala ,,be carefull pa PF or else you will be poisoed by those you think are following you …i dont trust guy scott ..the guys just want to take over your party and be at logger head with MMD for the benefit of few white m’ther f’ckers who are in zed ..and i dont think he has any royalty to you ..watch out for that guy other wise you will be used as a rubber stamp and stepping stone for the muzungus to gaing their political ambitions
That’s how a grand father should talk.
abayashi!!!! he hasnt long to live
Oh,the chimney is bck in a reformed way.It must b advised 2 start leadership search 4 PF’s top job.
PF members must b bold enuf and advice him 2 give waý to new fresh blood.
Zambia is a Christian nation. If we claim to be following Jesus Christ, we should be able to reflect the character of Him. We should learn from the School of Christ since he is our master and we are his servants. How was the character of Jesus? He set a very good example when he was here on earth. We should love one another. Love is the keyword either vertically or horizontally. Vertically is love for God and horizontally is love for your fellow human being. If we had the love of Jesus there was no need of inflicting pain on one another. Such things like stealing, insulting or doing anything bad against one another would have been a thing of the past.
Instead of a cabbage, hes’ back a very sensible person so far.
Sata welcome back to your mother Zambia. My prayers have been heeded and now I am praying for you to accept Jesus as your personal saviour. You will certainly stop smoking as well and lead a decent life acceptable by your creator who saw it fit not create either an exhaust pipe or chimney in you for smoke release. God loves you and wants you to be like him. You were created in a wonderful image of God. You are so special to Him. I know you may not understand aii i have said now but you will some day.
Welcome back please slow down and tone down now. Go and mourn chilu jnr.
could this b the end 4 pf? It is tym that the party took a break o else sata will get another heart attack as pipo r slowly leaving the party cozing the president’s heart attacks.
“Mr. Sata told Journalists he realized that the importance of minimizing the current gap between himself and President Mwanawasa for the benefit of the people.”
That just goes to show how Mr. Sata has been selfish in his heart. He wanted to get to state house for his benefit. little did he know that getting to plot 1 was to becoming a slave to the people you’re serving. All he knew was to oppose good or bad ideas. Please leaders, spare us our hunger for your greedy.
“I would have been dead if President Mwanawasa did not personally intervene to ensure my evacuation to South Africa for specialist treatment”, he said.
Please, thank God -our Creator – for using my President LPM to take quick and necessary action to help you get the required help in/on time. It appears you have had enough reflections on how best you can serve the Zambian people i.e. to put their interests first and work hand-in-hand with the current government instead of condemning it always for clearly no apparent reason.
May you now start being productive and progressive for the seek of Zambia. Please, stop propagating racism, tribalism and all the terrible evils that are not necessary.
thats how God can work,He always bring peace, love and joy to his people.
in #12, “seek” must be “sake”.
Otherwise, keep well and be blessed as you try to keep your words. I hope this time around you are serious Mr PF President Sata.
Welcome back to Zambia.
Welcome back Sata and thank God that you`re recovering well.
…why were you not treated in UTH Mr Sata???…why???
Sata has a way of occupying the media & this is one of them.Sata does not mean any good for any1 in those statements he has issued apart for his own selfish good.
#17 you r rite.Sata indeed has a way of always occupying the media esp when he knows he has lost popularity like now.He is the worst propagandist Zambia has ever seen.
I was
#17 you could be right. He knows that zambians are so forgetful. Just watch him but you will not realise that he has U turned. This man is slippery.
#4, you’ll be shocked to see your own words turn against you while those you whish death are uplifted before your eyes. Never forget that you will be measured by the same measure that you use on others. Life is a merry-go-round and everyone deserves a new start, even Sata.
#2, PLS, DONT BE SUPERSTITIOUS AND START POINTING FINGERS. MR SATA WAS SICK BECAUSE OF HIS POOR HEALTH HABBITS (SMOKING), WHICH HE HIMSELF HAS ACKNOWLEDGED TO VERY POSITIVELY UPON THE DOCTORS’ ADVICE. WHY IS IT THAT ANY DEATH IN AFRICA IS REGARDED TO HAVE AN ARCHITECT BEHIND IT EVEN IF THE CAUSES OF DYING OR FALLING SICK ARE PLAIN? DON’T MISLEAD MR SATA. HE WAS SICK BECAUSE OF HIS SMOKING HABBIT. I DID WORK WITH HIM IN THE CITY COUNCIL. I HATED HIS SMOKING HABBIT. I AM HAPPY HE IS QUITTING. HE HAS BEEN DEFILING HIS BODY ON A VERY LARGE SCALE.
ADVICE TO MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES
MMD and PF seem to have quickly forgotten any lessons from the Late Mazoka`s death.UPND has drifted from being once a formidable party to it`s current sorry state because of ignoring simple but vital advice.Mazoka ignored advice about any form of succession plans in case of any unfortunate trepidation. We`ve experienced the disintergration of the once viable UPND to regional party.
PF similaryly would head the same direction if God forbid SATA was incapacitated.
MMD currently has no VP and we`re already hearing about problems in finding Levy`s successor.
When are we ever going to have pragmatic individuals that can advise these parties accordingly.
#23, the problem in Zambia is that who ever challenges a president (especially the incumbent) automatically becomes and gets labelled as that political party’s enermy. Under such a scenerial, you can’t have a genuine presidential candidate apart from an appointee from the president himself from amongst yesmen (and the most serious yesman). Similarly, thats the problem that befell UDNP, UNIP, and currently MMD.
I wish we can learn from the American System i.e both the Rep and Dem, in the way they adopt presidential aspirants.
Welcome back Bashi Chilufya Sata. We hope you will continue to provide a voice to the people and continue on your leadership path. It is good the man has thanked the gov’t for saving his life, it was indeed a good thing on the part of the gov’t but please let us improve our local hospitals because the majority of Zambians might not get the chance to be flown out of the country for treatment. It would be nice if Mr. Sata and Dr. LPM to sat down together to find lasting solutions in improving our health sector since both politicians have got enough pratical knowledge of the benefits of having effective health centres and have seen the benefits of having such facilities.
The two politicians should build a major hospital called the Sata-Mwanawasa Heart Treatment Hospital.
His days are numbered especially after kissing death. Am sure he was also advised to take a low profile and avoid streeful life events hence the wanting to dialogue now. Lets see the insults, the jumping around and that ego driven smoking habit now. Do we need to smell death to change the way we behave in life? God did it for a reason and God will give us an appropriate leader. I guess he is now going to respect God’s people instead of comparing them to lagging buttocks; what has his advancing floppy appendage scored for him.
Y’all remember me? I was here last year looking for a Zambian man. One of the guys on this blog responded and showed some interest. So I am currently in Zambia trying to figure out where this will lead us. Must say I like Zambia. Thank you to all those that encouraged me to pursue this thing. Zambians are indeed good people.
See calculative king cobra is? the benefited from the same gestures he was condemning during elections….sending VIP abroad for treatment? mr sata is indeed a politician…he sure knows how to select his battles? now his sucking up to LPM? PF supporters what do you have to say now? I am glad that he has now exposed his double standards and i hope his followers shall remember this in 2011..viva HH or prof chirwa.
Christy… make sure you both get tested as zed is no place to go in live without protection?
#31 I am smart enough to know better. Thanks for your advice anyway.
GOD HAS WAYS OF EXECUTING AND SETTLING SOME BATTLES FOR THE COMMON GOOD
“Levy is a very nice and friendly person – Sata” (Zambian Post Newspapers)
We appreciate the stated fact even as we continue to closely watch manifestations of that change in Ba Sata. We are not ignoring his instinctual behavior often after being flattered and misled by his disillusioned cadres who dream that insults could wreck God’s plan.
T is God’s wish that President Levy Mwanawasa and I are brought together to work as a team, opposition Patriotic Front (PF) president Michael Sata has said. And Sata, who had been smoking for 45 years, has advised smokers to stop smoking, saying it is a dangerous habit.
In an interview, at South Africa’s InterContinental Sandton Tower Hotel on Sunday, Sata said President Mwanawasa was a very nice and friendly person whom he would like to work with to change the living standards of Zambians.
“President Mwanawasa went out of his way when he sent me here. He must have discussed with his brother South African President Thabo Mbeki because I was coming without a passport, without any travel documents and I was crossing an international border and it was a very big risk for the air ambulance to allow a person without any travel documents. I am very grateful, I am extremely grateful and I have expressed my gratitude to President Mwanawasa.
I have spoken to him twice and when I get to Zambia I want to go and see him personally and say thank you and discuss other matters relating to our nation,” said Sata, who has always been an ardent critic of President Mwanawasa. “I think his experience and my experience put together, even if I am in the opposition, we can remove the trivial tension which is in Zambia at the moment for the benefit of the people of Zambia. The two days I have spoken to him – I talked to him when I was discharged from the hospital and a day later when I was complaining about my passport. Levy and myself should bring Zambia back to the original political leadership.
“His tone when I spoke to him was very nice, extremely nice, a very friendly person. I know him but I am saying that when he reads in the newspapers he gets annoyed and when I read in the newspapers I get annoyed but when we speak one-to-one there is so much tension which we can remove.”Asked if what he portrayed in the newspapers was contrary to his warm relationship with President Mwanawasa, Sata said the bickering among political leaders portrayed in the media was dividing the country.“You reporters edit, now I want to say it in Levy’s face and let him also say what he doesn’t like about me in my face and then the media will choose because by so doing we will remove the tension because wh
“You reporters edit, now I want to say it in Levy’s face and let him also say what he doesn’t like about me in my face and then the media will choose because by so doing we will remove the tension because when Levy speaks and I also speak, we don’t help unite the nation,” Sata said.“The problem which we have in Africa is lack of interaction where the opposition don’t see eye-to-eye with the ruling government. In Zambian politics and majority of African politics, when somebody is in government, he is an enemy or when somebody is in the opposition he is an enemy so even if they know that what the other party has done is right they would like to say something disparaging to provoke the other.”
Sata said if he worked with President Mwanawasa, the country would achieve a lot.“Former president Frederick Chiluba is coming to South Africa for medical treatment; Levy Mwanawasa has gone to England more often than any of us,” Sata said. “Everything that President Mwanawasa has done to me, I have learnt something. When he sent me to prison, I learnt something and now he has sent me to the hospital I have learnt something, so he exposes me to great experiences which he doesn’t know, which I can help him and he goes to England often. I have come here and because I am aspiring to take over from him, we can work as a team to transfer the technology for the benefit of Zambians.”
He said with th
He said with the wind of change in Africa, there was likelihood that governments would be changing hands from the ruling parties to the opposition.“But for us to avoid bloodshed, to avoid unnecessary hatred, it’s important that we start interacting,” he said. “This issue of chasing each other in the newspapers is unnecessary but that does not mean that PF will be surrendered to the MMD and MMD will not be surrendered to PF but the leadership must interact. If we interact I will tell President Mwanawasa what I think would help build Zambia, he will also tell me what he expects from the opposition instead of fighting each other on the platform.”
Asked on concerns that President Mwanawasa took advantage of his sickness to gain popularity and silence him over his criticism against evacuation of senior government leaders to seek medical treatment abroad, Sata said the action by President Mwanawasa was God’s mystery to bring them together.“It’s not a question of taking advantage. He was taking a risk. Suppose I would not have arrived here, if I had died what was going to happen? Was he going to get the popularity that he wanted? But God wanted to prove a point that Levy and myself we have a duty to Zambia, our duty to Zambia is what will please the Lord,” Sata said. “So whatever was in his mind, that was God’s wish to try and bring thes
“So whatever was in his mind, that was God’s wish to try and bring these two people together saying ‘there is nothing insurmountable, why can’t you two people talk?”Sata said putting together his experience and that of President Mwanawasa would help push the country forward.“I have enormous experience than he has, I have been paying tax since the time he was at Chiwala Secondary School. I was involved in the political struggle when he was a young man. While he is highly educated, he is a lawyer, we served briefly in the same MMD government.
I have travelled extensively in Zambia and abroad and I think his experience and my experience put together even if I am in the opposition we can improve the lives of Zambians,” Sata said. “I know he is surrounded by inexperienced politicians who are ministers so not every advice they give him will be for the benefit of Zambia.”Sata also said the government’s sending of patients abroad for specialist treatment should continue.
“My position on treatment abroad has not changed, what I am saying is that referral treatment abroad will continue but we must start building our capacity at home and that capacity cannot be built in 24 hours but we must start now,” Sata said. “But we should not rely totally on referral for second opinion because the politics in the world are changing. Today we can utilise the services in South Africa or United Kingdom because we have smooth political relationships with these two countries, but as politics are, suppose tomorrow we don’t have good political relationship, how are we going to utilise these facilities?”
It is a useful reminder to all of us that all human beings, even the most seemingly cold-blooded, have a core of decency, of humility, of kindness, and that if their hearts are touched, they are capable of changing, of seeing things differently and more positively. Our politicians are not necessarily bad people, cantankerous characters; this is something foisted upon them by their environment, the inhuman system under which they live and operate. They behave like that, like brutes because our system rewards them for that type of behaviour.
random chant so i pick #23. PANY0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey christy if he fails try me am in zed 21st
just wait and see…don’t trust this punk so easily The heart attack has saved its purpose if he really means what he said..
old habits die hard.thank the Lord for His mercies go beyond the skin of Mr Sata
Sata is a true serpent, he is just strategising to put himself in a position where he can spit vernom into Levy’s eyes.
APPRECIATION DOES NOT MEAN SUCKING UP. SATA IS MERELY SAYING THANK YOU TO LPM, THAT IS MATURE POLITICS
remember liars, crooks, thieves and commedians do not care about consistency. lets wait and see how sata will be consistent this time around
If iwas LPM i would begin having sleepless nights. Sata saying thak you to LPM is simply trying to blind fold him. Sata needs a breather untill he recovers. the only way is to reduce pressure from MMD.He has so far succeded.MMD is helping him recover when he is good and ready , he will simply walk into state house with no opposition. i like the way Sata thinks
Ba Sata Mbuya i thank God that you are back home in good health. My good advise is that please stop those platform games because that also can deteroriate your condition.Secondly be careful of those serpents around you ,how could someone issue statements whilst you were laying critically sick in a hospital bed to the effect that you are going to refund whatever the Govt spent for your medication in RSA.The idoit Guy scot should be sorted out.
Christy our dear friend, dont be racist! There are both good and bad people in Zambia. You can also find a perfect match in a place where people are perceived to be bad. Check the meaning of the word ‘racist’ before you conclude that am wrong.
OOOOKey, so Sata is back and it had to take illness for him to realise that what he was doing to zambia was destroying the country. I do not believe anything of what Sata says because he has made many u-turns before. Where was he during the 3rd term, up until he was dribbled did he realise he was better off having had said something before the awaking of Levy. The man is manipulative and I really think he should just stop politics instead of hanging on to whatever thread shows, he contribute in retirement. Mineral taxes he u-turned, corruption cases, he u-turned, whatelse, that Levy is bad man after sayin Levy is good in today’s post.
mmmm but ba pragmatist nomba baba fye theorist eh! what is all this cut and paste, why not just give us a web link if he/she is really a pragmatic person, by the way the last time i checked Pragmatic meant to be practical so iyi balechita it is not practical a web link is more practical
Mwiinga (Lusaka, Zambia),
You fool full of gas,how many of us are subscribed to the Post Newspapers to access such full articles? What is wrong pasting such important articles for the general readership? The article is consistent with the subject under thread. We know that you are challenged on issues to take on Ba Pragmatist.Try it and shoulder the embarrassment.
What goes round comes round!!Sata has realised the importance of cooperating as development partners! He has wasted all his time and energy in fighting the person that loves him(LPM).Thank God Sata has got his senses back though it might be difficult for him to do things in a sober state.no more marijuana fo old bbali!
Zambia is blessed with such leaders;Sata and Levy in talking mode?? it is indeed a blessing for mother Zambia. But Rev.Shikapwasha………..? I hear he is a church reverend….who does not forgive….!!! Levy must be careful with people like Shikapwasha and Shaka once out of power.Your worsty enemy could be your best friend.
Sad that no one is focusing on the infrastructure used to fly Sata to S. Africa. Why is it that the GRZ has neglected our Flying Doctor services so that they have adequate equipment to fly anyone to hospitals outside Zambia if our hospitals are accepted to be what they are – neglected and best for animals and not people?
Does any one now how Sata has responded to his sons death upon returning back home
The boy committed suicide…we dont still know why and how…maybe the old cobra knows the motive behind.
no comment!
Shani Ba Sata, Welcome back to the land of the living…I suppose every event (good or bad) in our lives provides an oppotunity to learn something.. And if Ba Sata learnt that Unity is catalyst for National development his apparent ‘kiss of death’is was blessing in disguise. Don’t get me wrong.. we need strong opposition to provide check and balances for the ruling party. May the GOOD LORD give you abundance life as you pledge to contribute positively to uplifting our peoples well-being. Lesa amipale ba Sata!!!
#63 Are you he committed suicide or you are just gossip as you usual do!
#66 go back to school
#66 Is that the closest u can tome to english? Posapofye akachibemba nga wamona ati ichingeleshi chashupa!
Looks like Mr. Sata has had a big chunk of humble pie after LPM dealt him a very clever political coup!!!! Now he has to go to plot one to pay his homage, hat in hand or is it cigarette in hand, if he still dares. Indeed, everything that happens, happens for a reason. I am just wondering how long it will take him to back-tract on all his good intentions. Bravo LPM, with you at the helm, there is still hope for mother Zambia.
Ha .. Look who singing LPM’s praises now.And to all those followers who insult LPM, follow follow your leader.Politics of insults is long time gone.We salute Mr SATA for realising that now and Zed is going to benefit from this brush with death.PF and MMD should sit and talk govt of national unity, we need the talent Sata and put together, for the good of zambia and only mother zambia.
It’s good Mr Sata is back and fit. He’s the best opposition leader that keeps government on their feet, because he’s always watching. I’m glad he has finally woken up to reality, and he has seen, for developmet we all have to work together. I hope Mwanawasa’s willing to hear Mr Sata, because he does have ideas. I hope this is the end of chidish politics, it’s embarrassing the way our politicians insult eachother, as if their not parents. I hope finally everything political will be handled in a civilised manner. Zambia needs a lot of working on, in all sectors.
Ba levi mwalibomba but please extend these services to a common man by improving our medical institutions.
#58 obviously you lack vocabulary so you are forgiven for calling me a ‘fool full of Gas’ and showing that you are a diehard blinded PF supporter who has nothing to offer but just take out his 2006 whitewash on upright serious Zambians, once again your president is double tongued and can never be trusted, he will do anything to survive politically, so how does it feel now that PF has become an MMD branch on the copperbelt!!
Talk about irony: The PF party is suppossed to be nationalist/patriotic and they have Guy Scott in the council? lol “Mr. Sata told Journalists he realized that the importance of minimizing the current gap between himself and President Mwanawasa for the benefit of the people”- I don’t know just sounds like PR to me anyway welcome back Mr. Sata news isn’t just the same without you.
Choosing not to moderate today, I thank you for not driving this blog to waste. Well done.
#66&67 If you are really educated as you claim, you will make sense out that sentence, unless otherwise!
Asked whether he would discipline PF deputy president Guy Scott and Chapi stationed on LT blog for issuing a statement that he would refund Government all the medical expenses, Mr Sata replied: “My wife rectified the situation and a for that kid chapi,my aids errored to recruit him. Both Dr Scott and Chai might have been confused seeing that their president was dying. If I have to refund Government, it would be through the taxes I pay.”
The above should read #67&68…
And what about all the other taxpayers, does this mean we will now all be evacuated to RSA when we fall ill?
Good News: Shakafuswa has been invited by Prof. Luo to join Tansinta club!! hahahaha! hehehehe! hihihihi! hohohoho! huhuhuhu! very funny!!!!
Yaba…
LPM did a good thing to send Mr. Sata to RSA because had anything happened to him, they would have been trouble in the streets of Zambia. I implore PF to speed up the identificaton of a new leader in PF but to continue using Mr.Sata for publicity.
Sata hasnt reformed; its just the medicine he is on that is making him nice-ish. He will soon be back to his polarising and divisive ways which his followers like about him. Just watch this space..
#82, trouble in the streets of Zambia if Sata had died out of an overdose of viagra??? Stop over-estimating his relevance to the lives of zambians. And for your information Kanyama, Misisi and Mandevu do not make up the country of Zambia.
Newsmaker is back with thickened carotid arteries. Next episode spare tax cash and go to UTH. Dot politicize yo pal’s health next time
#80 ha ha ha ha he eh he indeed inga beve ba Nkandu?
Hey people, I just can’t stand these insults no more. This is the only dark stain on this beautiful Zambian site. Why don’t some individuals with demonic names like # 4, 60 & 67 just stay away from here? You can never compensate wisdom, intelligence and strength with insults. Since LT seems powerless against these fellows, I have decided to recruit headhunters to nab them…”SEARCH & DESTROY” bane, I am offering K500,000 to anyone who identifies any of these brats. I have a good lawyer who shall take care of the rest…fikalipila!!!!
Thanx for the wise words #86,we ought to be sober, logical & just discuss any given topic with decency & respect for oneself & others.
I see the blog is sliding into a den of consciousness primates grounded in insults. Is is such behavior done wittingly to sabotage the blog or out of some split personality by the actors?
Is this all some you fellows can do on the blog? What then are your objectives in your spam games? Do you ever review yourselves on how your time is spent by the end of each? Don’t you think you could use that time wisely else where adding value to yourself or society? Go back in the mirror and look into your faces and think if something ain’t wrong with your behavior.
a den of “non-consciousness” primates
Blogs intentionally should serve as platforms of mutual exchange where free ideas even without direct feed back from the subject party pick up what is assimilative at their discretion. One or two parties among the patronage from interested party could occasionally blog with us under some pseudo names. But every time one diverts here, all that litters are insults. What a shame
Hmmmmm………what goes around comes around.Levy & Sata wrkn togather NEVER! Sata has too much hatred 4 Levy.
PF,the writting is on the wall.Remove the petty dictator
#86, 87, 88, 89, & 90, forgive those who fail to come up with a socially acceptable blog name, for they luck creativity and indeed wisdom, let alone grammar! Always avoid reading their comments, for nothing of value can come out of the grey matter of such people.
Hey Christy, all the best if you’re genuine…but may hell work on you if you’re one of those organ harvestors currently plagueing Zed and other poor Africans!
I’m a bit concerned by the seemingly racist and divisive comments made by Anonymous at #2. Every Zambian has a right to have political aspiration irrespective of ethnicity, tribal affiliation or gender.
I remember how SATA would have a field day mocking and making fun of Levy when he was evacuated to England due to a stroke. He made his own dignosis and said levy was suffering from a stroke.
Today the same mouth that was mocking Levy is noe praising him.Levy has proved to be the greater man by returning evil with kindness.
I wonder how the the PF supporters are feeling with the U turn of SATA’S attitude towards Levy. Guy scott kept on looking down with shame yesterday.

Guys pls listern to SHIKULU in #88,89,90 above and obey what he saying!!! SHIKULU NAKALIPA SANA KA!!!
#89,90 indeed wise words must be a true senior citizen!!!#95,96 Don’t you think its time as Zambians that we stopped moving in reverse & moved forward?I mean its only right that Ba Sata like anyone of us be given a chance start his life on a new leaf. There is a way in which 2 pipo with different views & ideas can differ without insults & fights & i reckon that Ba Sata is right if he has discovered that way of offering mature opposition that will foster development in Zambia. And 4 that he ought 2 be encouraged!!!
I feel Ba Sata can offer better advice to LPM on a wide variety of issues unlike Abena Mulongoti or Tetamashimba.Cause the man is firstly not scared of LPM,he’s not a boot licker/a job seeker & certainly if one was to give credit were it was due.Mudala Sata has vast experience such that even if i don’t like the man i can certainly say he is one of the most experienced politicians in this current dispensation.
Maturity is accepting the wrong and move forward. Different Political parties needs to support each other to develop mother Zambia.
Viva Sata for the correct thinking and spirit of togetherness.
We need each other as zambians. Abash Imwe guys with negative comments.Bwaice
LPM(cabbage) + SATA (chikanda) = IFISHIKISA
Prof Chirwa or Dr Fundanga please help our nation.
Good News and congrats to both ,The presdo LPM and Presdo Micheal Sata.
This is a Total evolution of the Zambian politics. One Zambia One Nation,One Nation One People,One People One Goal,One Goal for the betterness of Zambia.
God bless Zambia.Hope the meeting between the two presdoz will bring in enough rippen fruits for the success of Zambia.T’ll be so wise if at all from this little experiences,Hospitals’ renovations, bringing in of medical equips, like MRI’s CT scan,PET-CT,Angiograms,X-rays and the like gets considered seriously in that the condition in which PF president was found in can be managed by any doc in Zambia if provided with necessary equips.Their was no need to go as far as S.A
FTJ has pleaded guilty guys!what happens?he has top go behind bars…
For that simple cardiac condition. Our docs are more than capable. This shud be a good lesson.
welcome back to your motherland zambia but thank God for your health work closely with levy becoz he is a good guy he served you,
Im so happy to hear the humbleness from king cobra. Work with uor presdo for the benefit of the Zedian. Truely we need those equipments at UTH, coz next time there will be no enough time to send you to SA.
Even with ‘change’ of heart, Ba Sata will forever remain a politian. All he is doing or sayning is ‘damage control’ of a Govmt in ‘waiting’ leader seen strechered away for emergency treatment. For next coming weeks ba Sata will try and demonstrate that he is in sound physical health and he is control of all his facualties. Don’t be suprised to see ba Sata jogging around. It is all politics comrades!!.
People using abusive language should stop forthwith otherwise ohhhhhh.
christi, use 2 condoms
It´s good to see our leaders thinking of working together instead of wasting their precious time in attacking one another. Keep it up Mr. Sata. Que te repongas pronto (Quick recovery)!
Government must strictly regulate the purchase and use of viagra. In fact it must be be lebelled an illicit drug in the same manner as mandrax. It is costing us a lot to send the poeple suffering from viagra side effects to South Africa for treatment. When Chiluba was in state house he underwent regular medical tests and the doctors did not find a heart problem. Immediatly he clinched Regina,he started taking viagra in order to keep up the pace he was shortly stretched to South Africa with a heart problem. Now it is SATA ever since he developed this insatiatble appetite for female cadres he put himself on Viagra to keep up the pace. Shortly he was strecthed to South africa. Learn from Abacha
Ba CITIZEN 95 & 96,
We acknowledge your misgiving of what we call the “animist political behavior” of which the so called opposition politics is sadly entrenched in. It is politics of desperation and lack of a feasible future at hand.Ba Sata is a human being with a soul to genuinely reflect at his life. He is a political animal but also a rational man i have personally known for over 37 years. His political straight jacket could not be any basis of denying his human soul accommodation for moral forgiveness by the “just”.MMD is a party lead by educated human beings with big hearts and rational human souls. They will watch Ba Sata’s space but give him chance to be relevant in last days.
#111. your contribution made me laugh so hard, I have not had a good laugh in a while!! But then when did pople ever learn from others, if they would, we would have halved the number of aids patients we send to RSA every year. I only hope that this will be the end of name-calling by politicians, chaona munzako chapita, ka.
I have said it here and indeed on the other blog i occasionally visit, the route and culture of insults and friction many here are entrenched in is self destructive and without life time mileage.I have personally taken insults here for my forthright discourses yet nothing has cut into my cumulative Bonds.Instead, the bitter remain in with their faulty speculation and wishful dreams.God has best ways of rising and realigning his creation. To the just, a thousand enemies fall at their right hand sides. To them that much is given, much is expected.MMD on its continuous improvement cause will live to that value at all levels.
If MMD party and machinery closes the doors against all authentically identified rascals and disillusioned lot, such would be inhumane considering that little in the lives of such could be achieved. UNIP had that option of wrecking the foes to the dehumanized deprivation until they lose their bearings or launch themselves onto the street.Such is not THE New Deal Politics.
Sata is the hub.
Mwaiche Pragmatist
Don`t tell me that your MMD party is falling for these shenanigans SATA is trying to pull.I thought that you are politically crafty to see through such intricacies.Try and ask VJ what sort of engineering SATA is trying concoct.
Welcome his gesture but don`t keep your eyes off this old man.
I hope sata will resign from active politics. it is time he paved way for our generation. guys lets us step up and challenge these midalas.
118 you lack sense of analysis . Why should Sata resign at this stage when his services are needed most? If you are a capable leader, just join politics.Do not think grate sata or anybody will pave way for you dull,non-sential, useless and good for nothing childish day-dreamer and worst kaponya of the century.
number 67 grow up? we do not appreciate your fake gangster image you are trying to exemplify? This is a site for mature audiences only? what are you trying to prove, show some decency? stop being what the americans call a “myspace loser”. Muli ba mbuli imwe…ba mbava..ba guy belela..uli fala boyi..soul train…wanna be gangster…broke @ss punk.
#118 MOB JUSTICE
You`re right that these old folks need to step aside and allow fresh blood to be fused into our political system.
I had the privilege of meeting Senator Barack Obama in person on the eve of the Indiana Primaries (5th May 2008).What I learnt from my conversation with him is that anything that we set our minds on is very possible and attainable.
I think it`s time for these old tired politicians to hand over the mantle to the fresh and vibrant so that our country can move to the next level.Zambia is having a significant generational gap in leadership that needs to be addressed.
ba number 119? who needs sata? if sata provides your bread & butter well and good. carry on with your blind faith my friend? if you think sata shall remedy for all your problems then you have another thing coming. Zambian politics is a joke? it is full of fortune seekers who don’t care about your welfare. Sata has even made a career out of politics and thanks to suckers like yourself. I am comfortable with my live, hence no need to join politics? zambian politics is a get rich scheme? my conscience would never allow me to enrich myself at the expanse of the poor? My mother raised my right..! pampa wapachulu if you were in sata’s position, nobody would have given a damn about you sorry @ss?
Chapi…can you please explain to number 119? He seems educated, but lucks the understanding of what real change is? Sata has been around from the 80s? politics is he’s only means of survival. Sata was not smart enough to invest properly. his aim is to retire comfortably at the expense of the poor. our leaders are in politics for the rewards and not to bring the desired change. our friend does not seem to understand that “change starts from the bottom” -obama.
Am just wondering! Could we still have had the same “born again” reaction from Sata had Mwanawasa not paid his (cobra’s) in SA? Say whatever you may, fellow bloggers, this is childish and utter nonsense. Do we all have to almost meet death before we realise what good others are doing?
……..had mwanawasa not paid cobra’s medicals in SA…..
Mr Sata. welcome back. Lesa a pale (God bless). Hope you will utilise the wisdom God has given you to depart from politics and open doors for the 70s and 80s generation, leaving a leagacy that future zambia will appreciate. Make a wise decision, its only you who knows your health status.
#109 I am not here to have sex. There is more in life than that. Thanks for “watching out” for me anyway.
christy this is sata issue fora kindly take your topic to lifestyle section
#129 how big is your pussy?
#127how big is your pussy mummy?
It is always interesting to note ‘our young middle class’ calling for Sata and old political folks to stand-down and pave way for new generation. The guys are ‘enjoying’ the political following because most of us young, resourcefull and innovative Gentlemen/women choose to be on the fence and cheer Sata and Levy having cat-fights. Colleagues it is about time to join the crusade to liberate our nation economically. You don’t need to join politics to have an impact… contribute your skills, consultancy etc. You can contribute regardless of where you are.
Christy, are you seriouS honestly? Are you telling us that where you are coming from there no men with mammoth shafts to slaughter you? You only want Zambian men? You are a lier……..! Please go back to your continent for we know you and we are aware that you are just trying to infect Zambians with another type of deadly disease more serious than HIV?AIDS. Please, please we muchende we…kabiye!!! Zambian men, please be careful with Christy. She looks beautiful, with curved hips but poisonus……….!!
#125, had LPM not paid King Cobra’s flight and bills in RSA we would have had a biological solution to the Sata problem but then we would never have heard the last of how LPM just let his fiercest enemy on the political scene die. I was very bitter that he was sent to RSA but in retrospect, Levy did well to save his life, now I quess for sometime Sata will sing praises of how he was “saved”. Bravo LPM.
I heard on radio a few minutes ago that SATA visited president Mwanawasa this morning at State House. The two later held a joint press statement.
The Bemba news said ” ba SATA bachile mu kukunkwila kateka ” translated in English means he went to grovel at Levy’s feet.
It’s good that Sata is safely back home after the heart attack. I am, however, skeptical about his overtures towards Mwanawasa. The man always wants to be in the spotlight and could right now be frightened about an internal coup within PF given his health status. Given his history, I doubt if his contrition towards MMD is sustainable in the long term. This smells of selfishness through and through, fellow PF members who have made similar statements towards the MMD have been branded and hounded out. Just look at the shocked faces of Guy Scott and other senior members at the airport in yesterday’s papers, the man is not democratic and clearly never consulted the party hierarchy
about such a major shift in party policy. Having said that, I wish he doesn’t take PF into a merger with MMD, regardless of what Sata is like; he offers the only viable, formidable opposition to the current government. In the spirit of check and balances, this very essential in a country like Zambia
