  1. Gud you can go ahead on this one.But why taking so long, because even the one at the Victoria falls should be rehabilitated .Enough on load shedding.

  2. I wonder why rehabilitation works and indeed any meaningful re-investment has to wait for a crisis before the Zambian govt acts. Can someone help please…When will Jesus come back to redeem us again? People must learn to plan ahead irregardless of whether or not monies are in place – life and the future must continue to inspire today’s actions and thinking! Isnt this why we seem to be the least and last? nanaka mwe

  3. #2 (Nkabwela) When is Jesus will Jesus come? The answer is soon. Just prepare yourself. Signs of the times are everywhere for evryone to see.

As for the upgrade I say let them do it quick. The nation is in need of a good service.

  4. Sad how the government can start about this talking now. Howerver, dispite this pronouncement, I am very negative about this government reinvesting in power. ZESCO chaps are so arrogant that they only think of nothing but tarrif increases.
It is a well known fact that electricity is more profitable than copper but we continue depending on copper alone.
For those who are not aware, power export to Tanzania can earn thisw country more in real terms than the copper which enriching their owners only.
    Let us hope for action

  5. #4, I agree with you on ZESCO’s atittude. ZESCO is just like ZNBC, quick to demand payment but slow to provide service.

  6. Upgrad to produce from what capacity to what capacity, why do these people issues generalities, comeon guys give is figures, I am tired of this.

  7. Number 7, uliche, we need figures not words only. No wonder countries which import from us have power 24/7 and no load shedding.

And when are these plans go to be acted upon, ba Minister???

  8. Its all about plans for this or that. I have never heard a story that says that a particular project is complete.

Ministers or their deputies should never be quick to announce plans that are still in the pipeline, pleaese!!!!
