The Patriotic Front has written to the electoral commission demanding a verification of the results of last week’s presidential elections. The Patriotic Front is seeking a recount in 78 of Zambia’s 150 constituencies, saying the tallies should be verified by independent monitors and party agents, party spokesman Given Lubinda said.
We hope the recount and verification can be done soon,”he said.
Mr. Sata however said,”Knowing how corrupt the Electoral commission are, I do not think we are going to get much from them. That is why we now want to involve the courts of law.
He claimed that the number of votes announced in one district was higher than the total population of that district.
Mr Rupiah Banda won 40% of the 1.79 million votes cast on Thursday versus 38% for Sata, according to final results released by Zambia’s electoral commission.
The margin of victory was 35,209 votes. However the PF say the poll was marked by discrepancies between vote tallies and the number of voters on registration lists.Mr Sata led through two days of counting before Banda overtook him in results late on Saturday.
Mr Rupiah Banda was rapidly sworn in on Sunday. The swearing-in ceremony was held just two hours after election officials said he had won by 40.1% to Mr Sata’s 38.1%.
Number 1 whoooo
Name the district kabili so that we help you with facts! Olo ni rigging, I dont think the riggers are so dull as to overstate the number of votes even above the registered voters? Come on guys, bring the evidence we also analyse, remmeber WE the people are your best Courts. Otherwise, just accept you were beaten clean.
Sata, just try again 2011.
As for me, I have already started the door to door campaigns for HH. Come 2011, HH will surely get the urban vote and more than half of the rural vote.
We are tired of listening to record players, it is time we listened to some I-pods. Mr. Sata, just go buy a farm and retire.
HH 2011
HH 2011
HH 2011
waste of time! Just start organising your party for 2011!
Now the drama begins. Results seem not tally with populations. It looks like someone rigged the election as was expected, especially coupled by the presence of full-blown-AIDS-ridden VJ and Chiluba in rural areas.
#1. Get off the blog you piece of sh!t.
i’ve been telling these chaps from hell to highwater! you have to make the system work for you. simple mathematics, 19+38 = “No WAY TO RIG THIS NUMBER”. but no. both want to be president right here right now. HH you’ll never win the vote alone with UPND cos the Tonga stigma will stay with you, and i know you’ve tried to shake it off. Pair up with PF, become VP then President in 2011. you’re young and have time. but NOOOOooo. no one wants to accept the simple logic. “Ndine Neka” attitude wont get you anywhere! to beat the system you have to make it work for you.
@#5. No way
You are an example of a pure PF cadre. Cant say anything intelligent. Always resort to insulting.
GOD BLESS YOU!!!
LELO LELO C’mon big man bring it on. he who laughs first cries last, we warned you people do not celebrate yet. honestly any normal reasoning person can tell why the rush.
Line up for 2011
PF- Given Lubinda or will it be Nsanda?
MMD- Magande or will it be Katele?
UPND- HH or will it be anyone else?
@#6. Obama advisor
Why are you blaming HH, It was Sata who walked out of the talks. Sata is the one who didn’t want a pact. KK knew that there is no way they’ll be abke to overthrow the MMD without a pact. But ba Sata walked out of the talks.
Sata should just buy a farm and retire from politics.
LOSING ELECTION IS BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW!
#10 THESE PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEY WILL KEEP BLAMING HH FOR THEIR LOSE. SHAME ON THEM!
@10. i’m not trying to blame one or the other. i know Sata walked out. but it was all too easy, there was no push to compromise. not picking on HH, i like the guy. just saying it like it is. both candidates should have pestered each-each a little more. sorry if it came off that way.
also with numbers that close and less than 50%, this is where the constitution has to be revised so Run-off’s can be made possible if one candidate doesnt get the 50 + 1 % majority. and have the 2 tops go at it again. i know its an expensive exercise but we’re a democracy “in progress”, and so to maintain the ‘idealism’ of it. it should be performed. just my opinion. i am not sure where our laws stand on that
TYPICAL SATA, JUST BARKING WITHOUT FACTS. I HAVE THANKED THE RURAL POPULATION SINCE SUNDAY FOR SAVING US FROM THIS KNOW-IT-ALL POLICEMAN. I HOPE I DONT HEAR ABOUT THIS COMEDIAN AGAIN IN ZAMBIAN POLITICS. AS FOR GUY SCOTT, IT MUST BE FRUSTRATING TO SEE ALL THOSE WELL WRITTEN SPEECHES BEING BASTARDISED BY YOUR SO CALLED LEADER.
#7. You haven’t said anything constructive in the last two posts. Comment on the story, what do you have to say about these allegations? You are a typical MMD cadre, always avoiding the issue at hand.
since when has sunday become a working day in zed? were these guys in such a hurry they had to disturb other peoples’ sunday rest to swear in the new presido? couldnt they wait till monday? there is something fishy about all this. i think soon the zedian people will stop voting, for their votes wont change anything if they haven’t voted for the ruling party.
Sata is doing what was expected of him. He said he would not accept results if he loses and has done just that. Sata has no statistics of rural populations the reason he underates them. Rural constituencies cover vast areas and it is risky to underate the population sizes. Go on do the usual thing.
“The revolution is just an ethical hair cut away” Billy Bragg
Even if people in the MMD are dull, how can the inflate the number of voters more than the population of a district. A population of a district comprises babys, children and adults, Peharps The Post Newspaper can be convinced by this story.
l can not expect to live in a democracy if l am not prepared to do the work of being a citizen
if at all there were malpractices the Lord will surely reveal and he will definately restore. Let’s stay on the topic, let’s be patient for proof if any and let’s not be distracted by insults and ill feelings.
Sata I like yo analysis of issues. You are higher than a genius- you are a GENIU-ASS
“inside every cynical person theren is a disappointed idealist” George Carlen
bwafya ba mmd, rigging all the time , i will never vote again as long as vj is arround.
The problem with Mr Sata is that he calls the people who are meant to be helping incompetent. ECZ can verify the results but it makes it extra difficult when the person calling for it can call you all sorts. What happens if the courts say sorry but the results stand will he say the same or will he result to people for violence from those that follow his word as the gospel truth. And this is not the first time he said the say about the Army commander and the IG calling them incompetent how does he expect to work like that. How do you expect people to work well with you if you fire them before you are there boss?? Someone needs to take Mr Sata to people management skills training & deplomacy
ULUFYENGO LUBI even if its loosing we need to accept loss with fairness, up to this age we have won and lost with dignity, but not when its unfair, we have to to teach our children the truth in accepting in truthfulness not just accept to satisfy the greed. this is not for just one person but for the masses. let them be verified if, SATA, is wrong so be it, but people will be satisfied . if this is left unchallenged it will create a lot of problems later on.
With the judiciary we hav..Mr President Sata, thts a non starter..instead start tokin to UPND and make a pact, start campaignin and serve us frm ths pain and visionles leadership of mad Pipo
#10 – I like your point. PF cadres’ thinking borders on fanaticism and not logic. Reason in PF is out the window.
There are stories right here on LT about Sata refusing a pact with HH and in the process demeaning (almost insulting) HH.
Why do you PF cadres refuse to see evil in your master? The day you realise this will be the day your master will win an election. But will it happen? Nay.
Sata seems not to understand that it is possible to have voters in one particular area more than the residents. If he does not know about that let him ask Chiluba who was supprised at how Captain Chewe won landslide in Kabwe central against the late Paul Tembo. People can choose to register at a different constituency other than where they reside. It is also possible that those who have shifted to some other places went back to vote where they registered from. Sata just accept the outcome and mark my words. SATA WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA. You will just die without getting to plot 1. You tribal and dictatorial tendencies will continue to haunt you till you die.
ONLY IN AFRICA can you find a candidate being sworn as president in while election irregularities are being sorted out.
Mwilatusebanya naimwe. You lost period.I voted for Sata but am dissapointed with the way he has taken the defeat. Its not the end of the world.Life goes on.Limbi namu broka na ma helicopter mwale cita hire.
May be others registered as voters in their villages while they worked as “bakaponyas” in the urban areas. Period!
The only way to hold the party (PF) together is to keep the illusion of winning alive. That is a good gimmick, don’t underestimate Mr Sata. The man is a dribbler.
I love you Zambians! You have a robust and healthy democracy, and you engage in it – hence all these great comments. Good on you! In Zimbabwe, (where I come from) it would be news if the votes in one constituency DIDN’T exceed the total population!!
Having said that, voting in a president is like marrying a wife, (or a husband). You have no idea how they are going to turn out, but they will do better if you support them than if you constantly attack them. God bless Zambia!
Sata Boza.. he was first saying the turnout was 75% in some Eastern Pollng station.. checks shows that, the turnout is similar with even higher turnouts in Luapula…This man is a dange to Zambia…good ridance
27, I defenately agree with you.If Sata wants to punish MMD for the perceived rigging and stealing the victory from him, let him start talking with HH. PF if you sashila it with UPND is un riggable. Not even the claftness of VJ can manage to beat the pact. If we have to have change in 2011 the answer is right there befor our eyes.
No 30. You are way behind. In Zimababwe the election results are finalised before voting starts!!
There goes fraud! This is only the tip of the iceberg, there’s more to come…
I don’t know what kind of picture of democracy some of you guys have. Pointing out the irregularities of the process is itself important. If Sata has seen some problems in the system he is right to point them out so that next time the process might even be more transparent.
The problem here is that most of the so called irregularities where not justified for example the trucks the marked ballots etc those where not justified it looked in the end that some people where merely trying to undermine the people given the authority to carry out the task.
When such a situation arise it will just be considered to be false allegations made for personal gain. When the trucks broke down it was the ECZ in the wrong did you stop to consider how much you inconvenience people when you impounded the truck the ZANIS vehicle you stopped in the middle of the road. All in all the ECZ did a great job under the intense pressure from the public because of the opposition
@15. No way
1. I am not an MMD cadre.
2. Even though I did not say anything constructive, it does not mean you have to insult me. That is uncivilized behaviour and you are behaving like a thug. If Sata has seen irregularities, let him provide proof but I don’t see any case here.
17, 19, 25, 28 and 29 I am glad I aint the only one seeing that the numbers the PF leader is talking about are neither here nor there. Can he at least name the district, we shall do all teh analysis for him and give him the report within minutes. Shame old man, I understand his frustrations. However with the line he is taking, his frustrations will only grow greater, because he is one of the pipo that ill advised abena Chils in 1996 to go ahead with an Elecotral Act that allows a President to be sworn in while others are crying foul. mwaona manje….You did this against the very sound advice you now want to rely on. Sorry BAMBO, sorry maningi.
#30. Your observation is right. But remember that “abakusompola balifula”: There are many grabbers. If you announce elections and nobody takes office, technically you’re in a political vacuum and that is very danagerous in Africa. Remember that Odinga almost declared himself President when the electoral offices said they’re not sure who won the elections. The narrow gap between RB and Sata could have forced PF to declare victory unilaterally. I magine MMD claiming victory too. In Africa, patience is NOT a virtue, my friend rather it is a sign of weakness: “get it before others reach it,” they say. That is the gush of basic natural instincts. And by and large the Third World is pretty basic.
Shut up Sata. You were beaten at your own game
Just give up and retire from politics. This was your last chance for the plot 1 and you lost fair and square.
Point of correction to those who think that a pact between Sata and HH would have made Sata get to plot1. Please reminded that there are supporters of HH like myself who would have voted for RB had HH gone into a pact with Sata that gives Sata the position of president in the pact. The issue in simple, Sata is not stable and he cannot keep a promise. The problem is not about a pact, the problem is Sata being tribal and a dictator and that is what we as Zambians are against and this is why Sata will just die without ever being president of the Zambia. Even within his party you can clearly see a dictator. I am happy he lost the third time. Sata will never rule Zambia.
#34 – I love you man. You are like a breath of fresh air.
The chaps here (PF esp) don’t know the value of water until they lose it.
PF had very alert (paranoid) cadres in ALL polling stations. How did they miss the rigging? Most govt institutions are located in LSK/CB and are filled with PF supporters and yet Sata feels that his pipo cheated him. ECZ has PF cadres too. How can they rig against their boss? Mwilatukanatukana fye, you will bite the finger that rigs for u
dimuna
Voter fraud and rigging happens evry where.George Bush won in 2000 against Al Gore with the help of his young bro Jeb who was governor of Florida then. They mounted police check points in areas that are heavily african american to keep them from voting knowing they vote democratic overwhelmingly. The supreme court then was stuffed with judges who were appointed by his father when he was president. This happens everywhere.Watch tommorrow as america votes for voter suppression.
45, Abena CB you are blogging absolue sense boyi…I will end there
In Kenya, the electoral commission just didn’t know who won the elections. For your own information, it was easier to tally votes in remote parts of Kenya than it was to tally votes near Nairobi. Heh, heh, heh….please laugh with me! The last polling station to handover election results was a district in Nairobi!! Heh, heh…imagine what Sata would say if Munali or Lusaka central couldn’t hand over results in three days. That’s what happened in Kenya. The votes from that district came with 4 million votes for Kibaki. The electoral office refused to announce them and they were forced to do so..after 24 hrs of slince..and Kibaki won!! Results were not announced at the district level, as here.
Talking to the BBC Sata said it was in Shangombo where the voters were more than the population; he was wondering whether the crocodiles participated as well; he further said Rupiah was a thief and he can’t work with a thief.
What goes around comes around.Sata was a mastermind with Kafupi.I wonder how he failed.Elections are expensive,I wonder if Taiwan gave so much money to him.Anyway,Zambia,A BRIGHT star in Democracy not only in Africa but the world.A great country with very good citizens.God Bless its people.ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION.Tiyende Pamodzi
51 hung on I get the data for Shang’ombo…
Since unip, ulp, fdd and all otha tuntemba politcal parties hav joind mmd..i wil always advocate 4 PF & UPND to form an alliance o a pact.if u lok at the composition of these two parties, there ar enof inteligent and visionary pipo to move zambia forwad..mind u mmd dnt hav a credible cndidate for 2011,they hav turnd down prof chirwa
Read and 43 and 50 together to get some sense.
Vote Confused in 2011. I am young, smart and loaded with cash! I don’t need to hire a helicopter. I have one, guys. I will reach the remotest part of Zambia. I will camp in the sand dunes of W/Province and spend holidays in N/W province rural areas. I have a message and plans to create “a first world country” out of Zedi. No more to hold elections in filthy classrooms. I was sick to see the dirt in and outside those classrooms. It seemed so normal to those guys. Oh, God.
Teta for VP
In Africa, patience is NOT a virtue, my friend rather it is a sign of weakness: “get it before others reach it,” they say. That is the gush of basic natural instincts. And by and large the Third World is pretty basic.
In future quote this phrases above. End with CONFUSED.
51 Shang’ombo registered voters is 31,458 and of these, PF got 554 votes, MMD 6, 284,HP 345 and UPND got 4, 981 and 313 were void…what is the PF leader’s point? A total of 12, 477 votes were cast.
Help help help help please.US $4.7 million debt at hand is the Greatest challlenge. We need you more than ever before.Donate to the Sata website or we allow our enemies to embarrass and finish the old man Sata. What Mazoka went through in 2002 with South african sponsors is here with us.PF has you as its supporters let liquidate the US $4.7 million ticket. Please don’t fail ba Sata bachalo. The struggle is still tough at hand.Lubinda has been sued by VJ then we need not less than ZK 250 million for rigging litigations.please don’t run away from pabwato. Its a long journey you oughtt not faint.
back from Voting and it was great and Mother Zambia hope the new leader will chose the best cabinet.
Pa BwatOOOOOOOO!!! I haven’t sunk
new slogan coming to a combon near you
Pa submalini !!!!!! Pa submalini!!!!
#58 – That’s 39.6% voter turn out. Way below 50% or the assumed 70%. The results are consistent with all parts of Zambia.
Has Sata contested Malole constituency results? He got over 14000 votes. I am wondering where those numbers came from!! in a village!!
Can someone please tell Magande that I am ready to buy the Post NEWSPAPER. I know he wants to deal with the Post and I am interested.
I have spent a great deal of time in the plains of western province
& from the results that i saw, i can say that they were altered. the number of eligible voters can not be that high, moreover the population density does not support such high voter outcome.(unless Angolan Refugees voted)
I am not a PF supporter but i feel that the will of the people has been robbed.
PEACE TO ALL ZAMBIANS
How many people here really voted for MMD and now trust Rupiah Banda to bring development to Zambia?
#64 Toko – did you count the pipo? Did you carry out a census?
#65 Chale.
For the record, I DID vote for Rupiah Banda. So did many people I know.
And for the record, I voted for Banda in the hope of cementing the economic progress Levy started working on. A few years down the line, progress will be a part of Zambians.
For the record, most other pipo voted RB for fear of Sata’s instability. Noone can claim to know what he will do next, not even Given Lubinda. He cannot run a country with that behaviour and definitely he cannot be a custodian of pipo’s wealth.
#67 cn u pliz point out sum of the economic dvelnpments ur tokin off?
For the record, RB won the election. Kindly provide proof that he rigged. Miss Pretty #58 has provided some data that needs challenging. Please provide the similar data so that we can analyse objectively.
Otherwise, you are believing your own and Sata’s assumptions.
The wise realise that the moment you find yourself saying you know more than others, then there is something wrong. There is always something another person (every other person in fact) knows more or better than you. It is folly on one’s party to either confirm or discredit what Sata and PF are saying. Let us wait for the time when we hear the full details of the petition before we can argue. Shame of those insulting their friends over this half-story. There is nothing to cry and laugh about these elections because short of the politicians themselves, we shall all be subjected to the same economy, same social scenario etc. There will be no distinction between PF and MMD members.
TYPICAL SATA HE DOES NOT NAME A SINGLE DISTRICT WHERE THE VOTES EXCEEDED THE POPULATION. WE ARE TIRED OF THIS PATHOLOGICAL LIAR AND HIS FOLLOWERS. I GUESS HE IS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING DECENT
GOOD RESULTS, ANYONE SUPPORTED BY POST LOSES EG FDD(2001),PF (2008)WHEN MAZOKA WAS DRIBBLED PEOPLE WERE HAPPY, WHY SHOULD THEY BE SAD WITH SATA. THOSE CHAPS PROTESTING IN NCHELENGE SHOULD BE CAGED, SMACKED, SHAMBOKED, TREATED. NEXT TIME SATA SHOULD MAKE PEACE WITH 22 MPS. TRIBAL PF WILL NEVER RULE. HAPPY MAN. ABENA COPPERBELT I LIKE YOUR ANALYSIS. EVEN ME SATA/HH PACT I HATE IT. VIVA ANTI SATA WITHOUT A MANIFESTO, EXPELLING 22 INTELLIGENT MPS
i dont blame mmd. i blame the opposition for their greediness. they would have won by a big margin if they had merged. HH as a vice president would also have got some experience and show people what he is capable of doing. it will be hard to end mmd rule without a coalition. well, lets wait and see what will happen in 2001. but why did they rush to do the swearing in ceremony??
#68 – The easiest sign of economic development in a country is construction. Come back to Zambia and prove this.
– Kwacha: Except for the fear of Sata’s almost winning the election, the Kwacha’s strength has stabilised. Today, bureaux were buying the dollar at K3550 from high of K4700 last Friday when Sata was leading in poll results. Proof of investor confidence.
– Excess cash, cheaper (not cheap) and available loans, scramble for land, high activity on the copperbelt.
– Generally predictable business environment (I am in business, I know). Next step is to translate the gains into opportunities for the rest of the population.
Sata is the Last King of Taiwan
one PF man rejoiced at the death of Mazoka and hoped that PF would win 2006. Now Mazoka is no more but PF still loses. I am very happy. Viva MMD, VIVA UPND
Al u hu want to know the districts and constituences,go to Reuters, thts were ths story came from.
BOMA NI BOMA DON’T MESS WITH IT ,,,WEATHER U RIG OR NOT. TELL ME SOMETHING IS GBM BROKE AFTER MERRY GO ROUND IN A CHOPPER WITH SATA, I WONDER IF IT WAS WORTH IT???ANYWAY WHO CARES ITS DRUG MONEY…ACC, DEC GET INVOLVED ON THIS ONE..
This man is stil complaining? Thats sata’ he is goin 2 complain until 2011.
Just checked Reiters, they also dont have the name of the district. I am very patient- more patient than a vulture. Let us see the same Petition in Court and what evidence it will bring, maybe we are using another Voter’s register. let us indeed give sata a benefit of doubt. However, even when you give interviews to reporters, the media, its good to back up every statement of fact with evidence or supporting facts. Othr than that, it because difficlt to be believed. We shall wait, and can they hurry on otherwise they will say the evidence was tampered with. Quite honestly when you find you self in a situation whee its someone’s word against yours, keep quiet….its hard to prove!
Reuters sorry
Sekuru Sata has a point. Verify the accusations and rest the case.
#13 Obama Adviser the current practice in our country is that the candidate with simple majority is the winner. I gather that the NCC was debating on a 50% + 1 method for the new Constitution. I am also made to understand that 50% + 1 worked with FDD as a party. We may need to start with civic education before it is enshrined in the Constitution.
#74 Dee,do u nid to be reminded tht ur RB has js not shown wat so ever tht he wil do o try to cntnue wth lpm’s path..lok at the coruption, the pipo he has brot bak…i rili pity our country..ending up wth such a man as presidnt..he is js there lyk an accident..by the way my dear im in zed,and most of tht economic progresion is for foreignerz and a few of th local pipo.yes dolar and loans are there,bt loans ar nt a sign of economic progres mwana.
I will agree on one thing. The economy is growing. It is just not growing fast enough for the local people to benefit.
We are all hearing Kenya airways, Finance Bank, etc reporting profits. Chilanga cement cannot even keep up with the demand of cement due to the construction boom. Things are changing.
However govt should do more in fighting poverty and empowering the average youths. I hope fertilizer will still be subsidized and fuel will still be low. Tax incentives for local companies would be good too. (BTW, Lusaka Times, where you given the 3 yrs tax exempt package??), etc.
We cannot rely on govt for everything. It is time we became entrepreneurs. Apply for CEEC loans and start bus.
#75, that was funny. LOL.
I wish bloggers here were Parliamentarians, and sitting on NCC, maybe things would work in Zed, unfortunately for all the blogging we do, it goes down the drain when a new story hits teh headlines, shame. keep blogging!
I salute you, HH. I didn’t like you at first but now I am beginning to like you. I like politicians who exhibit a spirit of magnanimity and humility in the face of supposedly injurious treatment.
You’ll notice that these poor souls who are blogging around here are incapable of seeing true greatness. I had expected a horde of people to applaude you for accepting defeat magnanimously, but alas, look at what they are writing. How can you insult a person who has accepted defeat politically? Pretty basic stuff.
Our greatness as a country will hinge on how we treated “losers” and the weak among us. HH,we are not a great Nation yet so forgive our ommissions. But you have earned my respect.Cheers.
@58 and 69
download google earth and have a 3D view of the western province towns, there after check their population density on wikipedia. When you are done, shut your pipes!! Leave those feeling the injustice have their say. Its not fou you to forcebly shove inconsistent data, down pipo’s thorats and expect them to take it down in a gulp.
Its democracy after all isnt it? Let the pipo talk, chisiye kubaba!!
Please be my VP, HH! I’ll run if you pair up with me. If you insist on leading, I don’t mind, I’ll take the VP for what it’s worth. Both of us are filth rich so we really don’t that much Kwacha, after all. Remember, I am “confused” the next ruler of Zamunda!
Ino balo bana Sata ba PF lyonse mbobasabila!! Lino baya bali fuka batolwa aba silikani kubota babakandaule cini cini ikutegwa basubuke batakacindululi kufubala. We will support RB knowing that the exchange rate will soon begin to improve. I need to buy a car and I was worried because of the exchange rate which went sour due to the careless talks of Sata. I know that the credit crunch in the US has had an effect but Sata also greatly discturbed it due to his carelesness. Other currencies have started stabilising such as the rand and I expect kwacha to also stabilise now that the lunatic has been caged. SATA WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA!!
He must think zedians are so irrational.
# 74 Deee: Man are you really sure that the dollar is now going for K3550 from K4700 a day ago? If that is true then I understand why the US was the first superpower to congratulate RB.
On a personal note, I was planning on buying the Kwacha at K4700. I am not sad, but I’ll move quickly to get some for my holidays.
Interest rates are cheaper, you said. This trails the T-Bills rate normally. Please advise me on the Treasury bills rates (30, 90 and 180 days). The last time I checked this was between 5 and 6.5%. Too low for my K1 billion. Is it over 8% for 90 days?
where are all those guys who kept humilliating us. With that lousy slogan pabwato? Iwould like to see them.
88 no wonder you have a problem, you think Wikipedia is the answer to all troubles in Zambia…..
It is guy scott who is the ring leader of voilence in Zata PF party. Sata needs to be bigger than that. The man should give up or he will die trying.
No dear, You have a problem. Why not let the complaints do their complaining and as for you free advise, keep bein blonde!!!!
#90 it seems ur only interest is to c hh win?im left to wonda coz nw tht u c hw little votes ur hh got,ur al in suport of rb,principle,if u had to join politics u wud b lyk sakwiba..jumpin to the warma patch o side
Ba blogger outside Zed agianst Sata, you suck because you’ve no idea what’s going on in Zed. Just as well you blog and it ends here for the fun of it. Mwe mbushi mwe!
You honestly think MMD taking advantage of villagers by voting for them is saving your sorry asses? Most of you will never achieve 0.00000001% of what Sata has been able to achieve with all your so-called degrees. Just remain abrod with your “mopping, plate washing, child minder, looking after the aged etc” jobs you have abroad. We tried to usher in someone who can actually do something to help our relatives in the villages and well, MMD swindles them and you say thanks to the villagers? This is criminal.
NOW SATA HAS NO FACTS BUT JUST CRYING ABOUT.
EVEN AFTER VERIFICATION NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
END OF SATA’S POLITICAL CAREER
EPILOGUE AND CLOSE DOWN
hi everyone,it is a new day in the zed….what a few weeks we have had….elections came and are now gone…a new chapter has began…democracy and the will of the people have prevailed…like my big bro once said…some are crying and licking their wounds while others are celebrating….for some of us…it is a very very very big relief that the continuity of peace and progress has been enhanced….some of us dreaded the king cobra being president….not out of hate…but just how backward the man may have taken us….i once agreed with a writer that mr sata has never had a vision for zambia other than being at plot 1….that has always been his goal….KK once said hes not presidential m
Anybody out there in the motherland to confirm what #74 wrote about the Kwacha appreciation. I expected that to happen but a upturn of +30% in the kwacha value within 48 hours sounds far fetching. Just being curious.
DELETED
Miss pretty you got good facts up there. we are all interested in which district that happened. What Sata is doing is just seeking sympathy i think. I dont think Sata would keep his mouth shut if had very embarrassing and incriminating evidence against the MMD. am surprised the BBC reporter wrote such a shallow story. Instead of parroting what sata said he/she could have done her own investigations. I will be interested in seeing a Post newspaper ‘investigation’ on the report.
sorry, here are some corrections for #101. “an upturn” in the second sentence. “?” after “appreciation” in the first sentence
..as if it will cahnge anything, might as well give it up, like we always have, soon it will be businsess as usual.
# 93,
Don’t take us literary in rhetoric ngatulesabaila. We knew and know with the Dim Dim machinery lubricated coupled with natural hatred for our leader ba Sata has invited on self through irrational talk, there is no way he can be let to win election.Me i have retire from rhetoric for my usual scrap junk yard autoparts business.I advise others to get back to your roots.I know insansa kuchinjanya but bola yashupa thieves have grips on tools of giving themselves power. My dream for a Diplomatic post is but dead with defeat.
THERE IS A VERY SIMPLE EXPLANATION FOR THIS MR SATA. VOTERS WERE REGISTERED IN 2006. PEOPLE MOVE. SOME PEOPLE DO NOT LIVE IN THE SAME DISTRICT WERE THEY WERE REGISTERED AS VOTERS SO THEY TRAVEL BACK TO THE VOTING DISTRICT DURING ELECTIONS. ONE SUCH IS RB HIMSELF. HE LIVES IN LUSAKA BUT VOTED IN CHIPATA CENTRAL. ANYWAY, IT IS UP TO YOU MR SATA TO SPEND THE NEXT THREE YEARS ARGUING IN COURT WHILE HH MAKES HEADWAY CAMPAIGNING FOR 2011. MIND YOU IF YOU WIN YOUR CASE IN COURT, THE COURT WILL OVERTURN THE RESULT AND ORDER ANOTHER BY-ELECTION! IYEEE! TWANAKA!
Am still celebrating although we have lost. And why am celebrating is that Sata lost the elections. It is good we will not have a man who is full insults as a republican president. I dont mind who wins the elections as long as it is not Sata the kaponya.
HH just lost, hands down and he’ll never win a national election. Period! UPND, party of the southern province only as evidenced in the last two elections. Actually he’ll keep getting worse. Anderson Mazoka MHSRIP is not HH.
Today HH was holding a press conference and the man was saying “there’s only 2 opposition parties remaining so we need to work together”. Can this man honestly say this today? Why didn’t he he agree to do this in the just ended elections? He’d have been veep right now, giving him a perfect chance to build himself for 2011. But well ……
@84,Are you aware that the chilanga cement demand is bull?
90% of production is going to RSA and Burundi and only 10% is offloaded on the zed market. The profit is on record for the company and those with shares, but the funds dont come to Zed. With this kind of behaviour, when will we start getting the benefits of the economic boom as ordinary Zambians
#83. Wrote ” …yes dolar and loans are there,bt loans ar nt a sign of economic progres mwana.” I think this is not a correct statement. That’s why we have a money market, property market, equities, pension funds and insurance funds, individual salaries in the real economies. Most of these entities tranfer money from/to each other. If there’s no line of credit…you have what we call THE CREDIT CRUNCH!Your copper is crunched! Your kwacha is crunched. What what you say, buddy. We are trying hard to make sure that small businesses and people continue to have lines of credit for investments etc. Without that don’t ever dream of a better life. Play the money game, borrow, invest, build, repay.
#98, walasa. Ouuch.
What goes around bane, comes around. Isn’t it Sata who was part of the Chiluba machinery that rigged elections when Chiluba was in power? I think it is time for PF to select a new leader.
Pankolokoooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Confused walasa! I loved Kavindele in parliament for one thing he would always tel his colleagues ‘ dont be scared to borrow!’ … yes borrow invest, build, repay! How many people really get rich relying solely on their salaries?
loans are there but this is for foreigners. That is a sorry statment. Rather say, locals have no collateral to approach the banks. Don’t trash “bank loans”. All business plans start with bank roll out! You give them a b/plan, tell them about your future cash flow and your payback on investment and your expansion plan. They are happy, they (banks) willo give you a loan. If you keep to your plans, you strike it rich (asuming there’s no sata to scare investers). If you default on your plans, you are a DEAD MAN…you are up for an american type of CREDIT CRUNCH!!!
#98 redo your survey. they are alot of Zambians out here who are not cleaning plates and looking after the aged. can you sit on the lap top this long if you are washing plates in a hotel?
#110 true to ur writing..chilanga cement masive demand is 4 construction in sth africa and burundi..js a bit of it went towards lumwana and kansashi mine..i wnda wat economic progres we cn tok abt wen our own local suplierz are being forced to gve a discount of 40% on payments..is ths wat economic dvelopment to sum pipo.and pliz dnt cheat pipo n th dollar rate..
THE TRUTH WILL FINALLY SURE COME PF FOR LIFE
# 118. Call it “spreading the burden”. When the mines were functioning under ZCCM, they practised SOCIALISM. The price of copper fell to US$2800 (less than 1.84 UK cents/lb) and yet ZCCM found the money to pay ALL workers and support UNIP functionalies. And we called that “as power to the people”. Heh heh…ZCCM had no money to fix its infrastructure so UNIP kept printing the money to support the mines. Inflation rose and affected farmers and peasants who never worked for ZCCM nor were they Unipists. The current crop in the mines have no access to printed kwacha. They have investers for UK and US. They have to survive. If they force you to give a discount for now while they guarantee a…
Cont…#120. KCM, Equinox, Mopani have no access to printed free Kwacha from BoZ to recapitalize or operate the mines if the metal price dips. The investers in UK will ask them to weigh the option of pulling out due to persistent low prices or to offload shares elsewhere. The quick option would be to “offer guarantee of future business collaborations” with Zambian suppliers of parts etc. by asking them to lower the price of parts temporarily to keep the golden geese on their feet. To you, this is not a business position so we need SATA? No, Sir. I have seen how inflated the prices for these parts are from RSA. Suppliers pay VAT on these parts, mines buy and pay VAT too. So who is killing?
MMD(Mukudya Mweka Daddy)!!!!
PF should publish their set of election results so that the public can compare with that of the MMD and the UPND….FODEP, AU, COMESA, MUZ, and all trade unions said elections were free and fair. These are the same institutions that condemned the election in Zimbabwe.
The current mines are paying a hell of a fortune for parts from Zambian suppliers. The mines pay VAT twice!! Read what I said above. The best way to make everybody happy is not to harangue the mines for cheating on local suppliers by demanding 40% doscount. Rather, all goods that have been imported for the purposel of reselling to manufacturers or mines should have the VAT reviewed. If not, we will keep hearing these outcries from Zambian suppliers. The killer is ZRA. The mines know that and that’s why they ask for a discount on the basis of double pay of VAT. Zambians are shylocks? They want to get rich by selling three parts at a higher price. They don’t believe scales of multiple volumes
BORING
PABWATOOOOOOOOOOOOOO oooops only a paddle left, seriously guys u have MCS and willie Nsanda, anyway i guess ninshimbi
I foresee a real test on the zed economy owing to the outcome of these elections, even with the jump of the Kwacha, negative effects will stem from the low input/production levels due to lack of job statisfaction by most of the Urban employees. This applies to goods and service providers.
dont waste your time listening to Sata.
Even the post knows what time it is… have you noticed how careful
they are in there editorials now!
@ ‘Confused’
I feel you, but How do we correct the situation since UNIP is now clutching the reigns of the wagon.
good morninig/night
128, you saw the editorial in the post, they were so apologetic in the presentation that those who wanted to sort us out will now sort us out but in the democratic society we should not venture anger to settle the score, they know it is coming, hope mulongoti dies, I hear he is in the UTH.
MUKUDYA MWEKA DADY (MMD)
The Kwacha has strengthened against the US Dollar. In Stanbic it was trading at K3,700 per Dollar buying. Its remarkable compared to K4,500++ last week
Is it Unip in power or it is The MMD? Now, I am truly “confused” (joke). If RB ever succumbs to “printing” the Kwacha then he should say Goodbye to IMF poverty relief programs and lending rights. There will never be debt forgiveness in this life and in the life to come. Zambia will be banished to Zambohell! Flee for your life!
But, RB said: “trust me to handle matters of govt prudently.” Give the guy a chance. Who is not a UNIP offspring after all? They all came from there! Well, Sata was UPP too. Give RB a chance. He’s a western trained economist/manager like Mbeki Thabo.
Good morning/night
shimaster#yes boi the man is in UTH CONFIRMED. he must go.
#132. We must thank the villagers. They have saved our heritage again! Zambia is the only country where villagers are wiser than urbanites. We’ll never live to thank them enough! I am so happy that I can’t contain the joy. I will give back some of my earnings overseas to the rural poor. I owe them big time! Imagine I would have lost the value of my investments in Zambia just by voting Sata in. The miners wanted low taxes on Xmas income and they were ready to sell their birthright. I think they must fight for better conditions of service with employers instead of being cheated with “more money in the pockets”. What is better? to Reduce fuel by 20% and impose free educaction (Grd 1-12)?
rigging in zambia was started by kafupi [chiluba].if only things could be straight pipo would accept defeat.what were the already markd ballot papers doing at munali const.this gives rise to alot of qns.i cant blame sata coz i dnt see nythng promsg about rupiah wit pipo lik vj around him.vj u suck! HH put thngs rite about the perception pipo have about yo party being tribalistic, then mo pipo wil consdr u for 2011.sata i feel 4 u
Confused Sata was UNIP too! listen to Nawakwi talk about Sata she says he was the last guy to jump on the MMD bandwagon and at his resignation rally he went with a UNIP T-Shirt inside his shirt! i dont know how true this is but nawakwi says this too often when she is hitting at Sata.
CONFUSED
I love your analysis very much but I do have to disagree with you on UNIP.
UNIP had control over the exchange rate and the inflation rate. They did not resort to printing more money but instead they went to apply for a credit card with the World Bank and IMF. They borrowed money to pay for losses and other social expenses. UNIP pretty much killed Zambia’s agricultural sector because they had a control over the price of grain and they lowered it so as to ensure low prices of food. UNIP decided what the exchange rate would be between the Kwacha and the dollar.
This is why I dislike socialism, it never works. Capitalism is so efficient.
#137. That’s funny! Good morning. Must hit the sack now.
Confused you sound economist economist so… are you one?
@ #136. madam x
Have you ever considered maybe it was PF that skimmed to make it seem as if the MMD had marked ballot papers.
Have you ever considered maybe they did this so as to add legitimacy to their rigging allegations. Sata had already made the allegation immediately the counting started.
Lets look at the other side of things. I am just adding my 2 cents here.
Interesting, that unlike in Zimbabwe, the west is falling all over itself to congratulate and endorse Rupiah Banda as the president. There are no statements casting doubt on the conduct of the elections, there are no threats of foreign invasion, no economic sanctions. Odd, isn’t it?
They don’t care about the will of the people, and never have. All they care about is securing their grip on Zambia’s (and Zimbabwe’s) raw materials.
I think Sata won. However, what if the votes are counted and it turns out Sata is in fact President, is RB going to resign?
For a man that made so much noise and was so overly confident and brushed everyone else aside claims of rigging are the only best way to retain some integrity.
Fellow Zambians,
I have been stunned with some of your pro Sata rhetoric on these threads. Some of you where saying you heading home for Diplomatic posts. Please for the good of our country, lets celebrate together that an educated leader, top diplomat and Business Executive who values education dearly has reigned. For me,its a guarantee for my PHD at hand by 2011.Had Sat prevailed, i could have been intrurrupted three years shy to Graduation.Retention of MMD gives me the focus, time, space and challenge to get done and pay back in service to the country.Education and not Diplomatic jobs you are after. He who educates you, empowers you.
i think we should go back to the old system ie afrog and MMD
No, Waziona. I am not an economist. I am simply a lone Zambian invester who is keen on trespassing into economics. No profession at all. But I will work on that soon since I have plenty of cash now.
#146 I see you seem to understand the economy well am not either but abit educated to understand a few things or to read when i cant.
Why was RB in a rush to be sworn in? Why was VJ flying around in military chopper to transmit results on the second day from remote areas?. I was waiting for 2011 but I think we need change now from recycled politicians bent on cave politics and yesterdays’ technologies i.e 1930’s policies.
Things are not as they seem, believe me.
Yes, so it is true that kwacha has appreciated following the loss of Sata. Hey, this is really good, I am from checking the Bank of Zambia website and it confirms that our currency has started appreciating. I can now buy a car. This is really nice, I have ended up gaining a lot of money due to Sata’s loss. This is why I am happy to inform those that are mourning that Sata lost that Sata will never rule Zambia. Someone pointed out that I support HH, yes it is true but I am more happy to see Sata lose an election. Sata will just die without tasting the Presidence, that I can even bet my last coin. Sata will simply never rule Zambia, like it or hate it. It is the fact!!
Sata could have interrupted a lot of progress in people’s lives, career goals, academics, investment to national unity. Just imagine a President emerging with 5-9000 VOTES in the entire province but only strong in his ethnic base. That is a terrible discrepancy in representative Democracy i have ever seen.Statistically only RB has a national wide descent Percentiles. He came out well balanced number or two and never in the third position. Now i understand why the MMD propaganda machinery was calling sata and HH has separatist leaders with regional agendas.
Imwe kansi it is true. Sata was destroying the economy even before he was elected.

WHAT CAN AVILLAGER DO DO WITH THAT EXCHANGE RATE YOU ARE MAD 151
Investors have no confidence in Sata… the demand for dollar was high because of political uncertainty, Investors were getting ready to leave Zambia …now that RB has won … they are rushing to buy the Kwacha.. and continue with their businesses.
Ah! so its true Investors were scared of Mr Sata? so what do people who accused RB of bringing down the kwacha have to say? Sata talks too much: ‘i will fire ERB workers, ..’i will fire the police’ ‘i will deport the chinese’ i will get 25 percent of investors money … imwe …imwe…imwe
#153. bento
If you where creative and drove around the brick wall, you would know what a villager can do with this exchange rate.
The villager can go apply for a loan from a bank that gives loans to farmers, he can then buy the cheap fertilizer and equipment will be cheaper (tractors, etc). The new investment in capital will ensure that the villager grows a bumper harvest. With that, the villager will be able to give his fellow villagers employment and will be able to pay for other things with the new revenue earned from the sale of the crops.
In short, you have to be creative and learn to drive around the brick wall. What’s your take on this??
Ata seeee ninshi amacoment yandi tayaleya…

Sata is an anarchist who will do anything to get into power. Zambia needs a new generation of leaders but, for the time being, we are better off with RB. He is popular among the urbanites because of his populist policies which none of his opponents bothered to counter. It only takes a minimal application of logic to conclude that his promises were mutually exclusive. The problem was that none of his opponents took the time to explain their policies in layman’s language. This resulted in his rhetoric sounding like a real solution to Zambia’s probelems. When you think about it, there was no logic applied to the notion of “lower taxes, more jobs and more money in your pockets”.
@#164 bento
You are wrong. I do not support RB. I do support the economic gains that have been achieved by the MMD led by LPM. Just because you do not support someone does not mean you should not acknowledge the economic gains they have made. That is being in denial.
I support Hakainde Hichilema. I believe he has the knowledge to perform x2 what LPM has done for this nation. While the MMD is talking about middle income country by 2030, HH was talking about middle income country by 2020. Since you still think Sata is a good leader, please tell us what Sata would have done for the economy and how he would have achieved it.
littie did i knw that abakamba BA SATA balibako DULL……….. Honestly been there done that while pankoloko….. KUTI BAPISHA SHANI POMO or UKUBATEYA ENJUGA…. I see no difarence btwin u ( sata) and yo late son (micheal)……… wawwawawawawawa
those villagers who voted for rupiah can be assured of the following:
– one meal a day
– load shedding to continue infinitum
– no jobs, this means fathers will fail to raise their families.
Can you imagine if UNIP was still in power? Change was needed to bring about some little development to zambia.
Chi # 14, learn to respect elders. You are the one barking like a Bull dog without facts! Shout your stinking mouth. Makaka!! Look at the results in Rural Areas, No sploits except in urbarn areas!! Do not be blinded by your hatred or your political affiliation. why was in that in some areas in Western & Northwestern voting was done on Friday and Saturday with no spoilt. Check on Post Election Results. Pumbafu!!!
howeva replies to 168 uu r a kaponya !!!! like weso SATANA !!!
Ba Free-Market-Capitalist. You speak the truth. I never supported HH (or any of the other candidates for that matter) but believe it is time Zambians got behind him and championed economic development. The economy is the most pressing issue that Zambians are facing and he is the only candidate that has come up with plausible arguements for the expansion and diversification of our economy. The main problem he faces is a lack of charisma and the inability to connect with the man on the street (not forgetting the tribal tag he unfortunately adorns). I think he could use some good image builders to correct the unfavourable perception of an otherwise good candidate.
167 YOU ARE LOST .HH CANT WIN AN ELECTION. MY ADVICE LETS GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY OF VOTING IE UNIP WAY .WE PUT ON BALLOT PAPERS MMD AND A FROG.
I don’t believe in mixing politics and religion. But this race had interesting spiritual dynamics which RB capitalized on….most Christians think Sata is linked to Satanism..especially that the name.. king cobra .. invokes some serious demonic connotations.. and so RB recruited Nevers Mumba so as to win the Christian vote.. the tragedy was that Dan Pule jumped into the boat when his ratings amongst evangelicals is lowest and he couldn’t help Sata win the christian vote.
I do agree with #30 Obama/Biden 08 to some point. The way things were to be done if RB was sure of the win, even in Zimbabwe before they declared the winner when a recount was asked they recounted. Verify the facts and then swear in the person. How does one swear in, Before facts are verified. To prove to Sata that he lost clean game, they should have been patient, do recounts in those area’s so that everyone has a clear mind and is evident who won without any problems. These are some of the things which bring confusion, coming to think about this there could be something fishy why Rupiah was sworn in fast. There is nothing much we can do now its only to accept that his now president.
171 Stop coping me Mwana. u can never be like me. change your Xs’
#170 every polling station had agents of each political party. if there were any anomalies they should have disputed before the results were pasted outside the polling station and later on before they were sent to Lusaka -ECZ for final announcing. Did the PF agents doze off on duty?
MMD(Mukudya Mweka Daddy) lol
Us in America we are voting tomorrow elections of national issues and not rubbish like zed.OBAMA wins
Why does your comment contradict your pseudonym?
LET SATA COMPLAIN ABOUT THE IRREGULARITIES. DO YOU MEAN IF HE BELIEVES THERE WAS SOMETHING FISHY, HE SHOULDN’T COMPLAIN? RIGGING STARTED WITH THE CURRENT PRESIDENT ABUSING TAX PAYERS’ MONEY TO BRIBE THE ELECTRATE, BRIBING PEOPLE TO ENDORSE HIM, THREATENING BEATINGS OF THE PEOPLE SHOULD THEY VOTE OTHER PARTIES AND MANY MORE MALPRACTICES. ONE WOULD ASK-ARE THESE THE STANDARDS ZAMBIANS ARE SETTING FOR THEMSELVES? THE CANDIDATES MAINLY FROM THE RULING PARTY, BRIBING, CORRUPTING AND BEING CORRUPTED, ETC, WHILE THE ELECTRATE WILLINGLY ACCEPT? WE VE GOT A LONG WAY TO GO. PRESIDENCY IN ZAMBIA IS SO CHEAP EVEN FROM THE SLUMBER ONE CAN RULE.
Mrk#IT IS TRUE THEY RIGED THE ELECTION COZ ECZ MUMBA CONFIRMED THAT
IN SOME AREAS VOTING STARTED ON FRIDAY UNTIL SATURDAY.RAED DAIL MAIL OR THE POST.
RB’S IN LAWS ATTACKED BY SOME ANNOYED GUYZ.
We are tired of hearing these baseless accusations. Sata please provide evidence or just concede defeat. The electoral comission have done a good job. Observers were present from all the political parties as well as international observers. What is the problem? It seems Sata will not stop stirring up trouble all on account of his own personal agenda. The opposition votes were split between UPND and PF, we all know that by now. Its time to retire Sata. Please retire with some dignity.
#179 how can you say Zambians are voting over rubish issues? Each country has its own situation and its own unique issues to address. Why are you on this blog if you think Zambia has rubbish issues?
#181 .. threatening beatings! iyo mwandi! you see even if Teta said we will beat easterners if they vote against RB are you sure we are such dull people in the east to listen to that crap? the goodness with secret ballots is that even if someone gave you 2 billion dollars you can still go ahead and vote against them and if they lose they will not come back to you. I hope your corruption allegations are not based on the post stories ( the paper lacks abit of credibility as of now)
Keep being a cheerleader without rights to run and serve. In my country where i have the rights will, run, serve and live with a platform.I may be a legislature, Policy maker, principal, minister,Commissioner, Permanent secretary,Director General, CEO of any Company, Diplomat or anything of choice as the list is endless. You are a cheerleader who will never be coonsidered for any of those national roles. Comfort yourself with what even my kinds hold more rights over than you.
#182 so what report have the PF agents in the areas were voting started late given? That some BIG INVISIBLE hands were stuffing marked ballots in the boxes and they had no powers to stop them? or that the polls were free and fair? for your information the rule now is such that the results are first posted outside the polling station before being sent to ECZ in lusaka. and before they post them all agents of all political parties must sign and certify them as the true and correct results.
# 186 is for you # 179
who thinks he more American that all those who studied in the US and are serving in the homeland.
#179 is obviously frustrated. These are the people that give Zambians abroad a bad name. Talking about Obama as though he even knows who they are. Never despise your heritage. We all know that the system in Zambia is not perfect but it is up to us to change it.
# 184 Excuse me,
You are confronting a kaponya other than a rational mind.Move on without burning yourself on that Sata’s off duty child from some campaign trail sexual scandle the old man endulged in with a cadre who birthed # 179.He lacks parental and cultural background.
Rogue trader walasa! niwe Mukali. i agree with you entirely . thats why when people say rigging am so keen to know where and how. Not that it cant happen it can but evidence Pliz is important . its not good to discredit every election that we have had in our country without giving any evidence. The only free and fair election was in 1991! really?
#179 Zambian elections are probably even more simple and transparent than USA elections.. apparently they also have villagers who will vote for McCain because of racial reasons… don’t be sad if Obama loses
Obama may win popular vote but lose the election……It’s a nightmare scenario for Democrats — their nominee Barack Obama winning the popular vote while Republican John McCain ekes out an Electoral College victory….Associated Press… …you see how complicated the US voting system is? they can rigg too
#192 walasa, Even though i would love Obama to win but the reality is that he wont win do you expect that they would allow him to win?.The will rigg also except they do it clean remember my words guys after the election. Otherwise am hoping he wins.
I know some of you wont like what i said but it a reality.
#63 Free-Market Capitalist,
Your business mind never ceases to amaze me. In the package, Magande should include Zambia airways and in that case, count me in, partnership.
# 193 paster J politics here in America are very competitive and based on so many issues,de bigest is about defending America, hence the electoral process is straight foward and no rigging is involved, so dont think America politics are like Zambia politics of character assination coupled with poverty.Besides in America even a foreigner has a right to vote, so am voting tomorrow.
Paster J, racism in America is not exibited like tribal voting in Zambia. here real democraca prevail.
i meant democracy
obama.com
#196 Really? i am in the states i must find a polling station where foreigners will be voting. By the way what would be the use in allowing foreigners to vote? just asking?
tha zambian elections are fake no wun likes mmd and even pipo know that sata worn but they did some tricks to beat him. how can the same govt that has never improved zambia be voted again, kum zambia to much corruption the big pipo are scared that if sata became president tthey will never get paid lots. soon pipo will stop voting coz they know that the elections would be rigged
# 196 which America where foreigners vote? I think bakulowa ubufi!

#202 you are right .Any person oblivious of the fact the Sata won that sham of an election is either intellectually constipated or is trying to reason with his testicles instead of his head. shouldn’t it be common sense that there are more people in the cities than in the villages. How come the villagers can out number city dwellers in the vote.Who in his right would be in the corrupt Zambia in a high position would like to remove themselves from employment. Those beggars rigged the election for Banda in order to keep their jobs. They knew Sata would remove them and they would be languishing with AIDS on the street with no access to treatment in South Africa.

WHY Swearing in of the candidate IMMEDIATELY when we should have room for such issues as people voting on 1st and 2nd nov which were not official dates for polling? Why allow counting and announcing of election results from one part of the country while allowing voting to continue in other parts while its clear that the polling date expires from 6 am to 6pm?
#197 If you want to know what happens in US elections, visit aljazeera.net. They review the dynamic of race in US politics. The conservative Republican base is so ignorant that they think Obama is form the Middle East. They think McCain is sent of God, and Obama is an antichrist.. they are just as illiterate as villagers in Zambia. They also have regional voting in red and blue states.. and a lot of confusing interest groups which are equivalent to tribes like.. liberals, conservatives, neo-conservatives,…etc some people are on the center , other on the left ,whist others are right.. far off are extremist like Ayers who’s being linked to Obama.
Iam not a PF supporter but would rather the law was followed. If at all those guys on the copperbelt were not allowed to vote because their cards were lying idle in lusaka, why shud the shangombo citizens be more important? Lets demand equality and impartiality. Sata is a man like any of us and to his side of thuggery, there is a stronger side of hard work. Just see how many clinics got a face lift in the small period he was minister of health? I bet nurses started wearing better uniforms when Sata became the min of health. correct me on this one

#208 I worked in the health sector at the time Sata was minister of Health…you are right and no need to correct you…Though I should say that Sata’s so called thuggery is more about his personality than qualities. I mean the teeth, the complexion, the scary face and the threatening voice tone. But everyone who has worked with him knows that beneath that monstrous look lies an astute executive and effective leader and a compassionate catholic.
#196 Mwiponta Mukabwela,
Are you really in the USA? If you are, then you have not followed the US politics. If you have, then you have chosen to ignore the character assassination that took place between Clinton/Obama and between McCain/Obama especially against Obama. You have also conviniently chosen to forget that Bush is ruling today because of a single (1) vote that was granted him in the courts where the judges were appointed by his father and him. RB is president because he is over 30,000 votes clear against his next rival. What a contrast.
Mwiponta Mukabela.

Our villagers could be illiterate but they are wiser than most town dwellers. I would have agreed with the town dwellers that they are well informed and make informed decisions if they had voted for HH or Miyanda in this election. But they chose the worst candidate, SATA, and then claim they know better. Atleast the villagers chose someone who is not as illiterate as them (RB). I will definately settle in the village where there is abundant wisdom.
# 207 Pastor J-This statement is more of a politcal talking point than what they really believe (“The conservative Republican base is so ignorant that they think Obama is form the Middle East. They think McCain is sent of God, and Obama is an antichrist.”) what generates this view is Obama’s middle name ‘Hussein’ also theologically which most people from the religious right believe the scriptures that only the Anti-Christ will seek peace with the enemies of Israel a theme espoused by ‘the one’ Senator Obama.Because it’s unfathomable to most of what Senator Obama has been able to accomplish given his ethnic limitations and the disgrace of being black in the USA they speculate he’s anti-Christ
#214, CHI GUEVARA,
Konichiwa, in the land of the rising sun, near Russia.
#212 I beg to differ, much as I appreciate Sata’s services to the nation. His weaknesses are also very serious…his thuggery brand is not only because of how he looks but also because of whats he does.. like violence in Chawama by election, inciting cadres to Lynch opponents of FTJ’s third term, firing health personnel on site when he was minister of health.. intimidation of other people he does not agree with, and hes the guy who made up Nakawala.. and many well known MMD thugs.. that’s why KK said Sata needs to work under someone..he can not lead.
#213… Bush certainly won more than 30000 rigged from eastern province for RB.Bush won the electoral college. The court order you are referring to was not an election vote from the ballot but a court bench decision vote to stop the recount because the process was becoming a constitution override. Check your facts before you use wrong data to justify a rigged election in Zambia
There was no way RB could win…what is his vision? what was his message? what character is he for people to remember him for in order to cast their ballots for him? RB no style no quality!
#219, pdx thinktank,
Thank you for clarifying my unchecked facts. Could you also kindly provide the evidence for rigging in Zambia.
24. (1) A voter shall be entitled to vote at the polling station appointed for the polling district in which he is registered and shall not be entitled to vote at any other polling station.
(2) At the taking of a poll a voter shall be entitled to cast one, and only one, vote and if a voter’s name appears in error or for any other reason in more than one voter’s roll or more than once in the same voter’s roll he shall be entitled to cast more than one vote.
Tricky but this is Chapter 17 electral commission act
#222, according to my interpretation, some one can vote more than once as long as by error, his/her name appears more than once in the voter’s roll. Hey, lets look at our constitution coz it cannot say one thing at one point and says another at a dirrent point. Why is there proof reading if such excuses are allowed. Maybe this is how ghost voters are made. Some one can vote in sinjembela and Sikongo as long as thier name by error appears there. This is my interpretation not any one’s else but if you want, access the const and read it and interpret it as the law is interpreted differently. some one will say i will rule for 5 years and the other one will say no only 3 years, mwamene waimvelela
Sata must have borrowed a lot of money for the election. He is dreading the idea of paying it all back – having achieved nothing. His age is als fast getting him out of future contests.
Just go to the farm, ba shikulu. Politics will give you a heart attack.
#217, Biggie Jim did you go to Tokyo for Independence day celebrations? Iam in the tail of the land of the rising sun near China and korea.
#215 I disagree “Our villagers could be illiterate but they are wiser than most town dwellers.” this statement could not be further from the truth. Villagers know nothing about western style governance, paying taxes which Zambia as a nation seeks to imitate in a century where information is power the one who has it is able to make more informed decisions and therefore technically wiser. Lack of information or should we be blunt and say lack of education is a serious drawback and net deduction to the nation’s development process. In this sense we would be close to accurate if we lament that villagers are a liability This is in no way an insult but a fact. They can only be wiser in village ways
#215 Biggie Jim. I did not mean to disrespect our villagers, only that I can’t find a better term to describe them other than illiterate.
#221. I was part of the voter registration exercise in Mpulungu and Mbala villages almost 1000 km from Lusaka.people who don’t exist are slotted on the voters roll and because of this there is no way to track them in terms of physical address these non existence voices become a powerful resource to tilt the balance in favor of the one who is in power. Why don’t they win in cities where voters can be traced where they live? Opposition parties have no access to the voters roll if they do they don’t have capacity to verify all the names because its a logistical nightmare to go in those bushes to look for non-exists. Therefore wining by the village vote alone is evidence enough of the rigging.
226, pdx thinktank,
I like the way you analyse issues. I have 2 issues for you which you have not responded to.
1)Do you have evidence of rigging in this year’s elections where RB has emerged winner. If not, could we be at fault in believing that the elections were free and fare considering that all we have is abundant rhetoric from SATA who went ahead to believe the lies by the POST.
2)Based on the information that the villagers had on SATA, they chose RB, that was a wise decision. If the town dwellers went HH while the villagers let us down by going RB, then i would agree with you that they are in the past. For now, the town dwellers are in the past.
Can Sata or his supporters give us the source of their data?
According to the 2006 Voters’ Register the HIGHEST voter turn-out was 60.93% in Bweengwa Constituency where HH won.In this Constituency there’re 15,859 registered voters(according to ECZ records and 15,851 according to Post newspaper records).Total votes cast was 9,663 and from these HH got 8,515 followed by RB who only got 877 then followed by Gen.MIYANDA with 117 and at THE BOTTOM WAS SATA with 74 votes! The 2nd highest turn-out was in Wusakile(IN AN URBAN DISTRICT) with 59.26% and PF won in that district.
The lowest turn-out was in Chiengi district(a rural district) with 19.37%
Where’s your data PF?
Each Polling station had ECZ and party polling agents who took note of the voter attendance, they all counted together, agreed on spoiled ballots and then produced some kind of balance sheet which all interested parties signed and faxed to the ECZ. If PF had no party polling agents in some remote parts of the country, then it will be very difficult to proof allegations of vote rigging.
I dont blame HH 4 refusing 2 b Sata’s VP 4 the past elexions. Who in the world wud want 2 b a VP 2 a LUNATIC. If I were a lady I wudnt want to get married 2 Sata. It wud b a miserable marriage full of insults. Wonder how his wife is copying
Just a question, how many people were turned away or kept waiting that their voters registration cards would be sent before the polls closed? ECZ should be held accountable.
228 think tank let me ask you this …. is it legal to vote after the the voting date..i ask this because i read, was it in the post that in western province for what ever reason the cars broke down and because of that the voting was put off to friday and sat voting realy is that allowed in our constitution
on one hand people are being turned away because of the delayed voters cards caused by ECZ and on the other hand they alow some weterbners to vote on friday and sat , because the truck with the ballot documents broke down …deos not make any scence just questions and more questions
Am sorry for bringing up regionalist politics but the fact is that our friends of Northern/Luapula origin seem to have a very serious affinity for power but when given chance they start monkey business. Is it a coincidence that where they hail from the Congo the place is always in some type of problem despite being the one of the most endowed places on the planet? They got excited, we gave their man Chiluba a chance, look the what he did to our country. Then they pulled the cobra out of the hat and tried to force him down our throats. A constable to rule us. They talk loudest but it is question marks over their actual performance at the battle front.
Zambians I implore you to follow the same pattern of ignoring leaders from this region.Lets give the leadership to cool heads from western, southern, eastern, central,n.western etc because history shows us that you are more likely to have a level headed leader from these parts. Am really sorry to bring this up but this is my observation, our friends seem to be naturally too excited to really lead. They are better at loud talking and chanting on the streets and putting their long fingers in the treasury than actually doing the painstaking job of leadership. Its a cultural thing there is nothing anybody can do about that.
dont waste ur time be good so that wen u get sick banda can fly u so south again remember not everyone has got mwanawasa heart some will let u to die.but levy could’nt after all ur insults u loser
Let us trust in our system. That is all we have to stand on. Sata better luck next time.
#225 CHE GUEVARA,
I missed the independence celebrations. I missed a great opportunity to sing the Zambian National Anthem with others.
Can RB appoint an oppostion leader to VP. If any one knows please share !
Whenever Sata loses he will say all sort of thing pl……ze give us a break and just accept defeat.Since we cannot turn back the time or do anything about it, we have to move ahead and hope for the best.
Biggie Jim/CHE GUEVARA, There were no independence celebrations last month (October) but, a bigger event is being planned to mark both the 44 years’ national birthday as well as the end of the year party at the same time, that should be I understand, end of this month or begining of next month.
Still behaving like a constable
I wonder why ba LT keeps giving me this flag.
Sata for life check with chingola they gave you fake votes
Read the Editoral in the Post MMeembe is at it again
Tell us the district Mr Sata, when Mr Lubinda was asked this question he said you are the one whop knows this district. can you please tell us so that we can help you with facts before you waste your money to the court. PF members let us assist Mr Sata with Finances so the owners of that helicopter wants huge sums of money instead of sympathising with our leader. let us liquidate this debt before spending any further in the courts
Pabwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Why does this membe guy thinks he is the owner of all truth, morals and wisdom while he is busy insulting the intelligence of the zambian people. this is the man who was busy with mutinta mazoka when her husband was dying of cancer, after the death he proceeded to marry her for his third marriage.
wow wow zambians what a great day.ba sata baloba na boat yabo mumeshi.God is good.
Zambia is not different from Zimbabwe
Sata give us facts dont just yap
Its waste of time to go courts at this time. What the opposition should push for is new electoral register. Next time there is registration of voters the opposition must ensure the people in their strongholds register and actually vote, instead of leaving everything to the ill equipped ECZ.
If the post still digs deeper, let them come up with evidence of vote rigging to help their candidate Sata ..otherwise they should just keep quiet and stop provoking Boma.
#3 and HH and Tongas are snouts. You know HH has ambitions that border on greediness for power that has blinded then. As long as Zambia remains Zambia no tribal inclined leader likw HH will ever rule unless they realise and accept that a president should not be tribla units of Afuganstan. Forget, HH Half of what your friends got is no guarantee that you can ever win The enlightened people showed you. Uchi nunka mukupa but you want to behave like a parent.
Hi i am an inteligent kaponya how come even the last election you played mind games that sata is leading then all off a sudden MMD take over the race sata won these election you can see from the rallies he held now zambians have to know that RB did nothing in UNIP other than take young girls to his hotel in chipata thats how he met that wife of his done nothing in terms of bringing development zambians should no that you have another chiluba in state house this man is corrupt am sure he will bring his fellow womanisers like VJ to cabinet zambians watch out RB ????????
Mr President, I accept your olive branch. Please appoint me as your vice. Pabwaaatooooo!!!
THIS IS A NEW MMD AND A NEW LEADER IN THE PARTY,LET HIM DO HIS WORK, HIS NOT PART OF THE OLD MMD..THESE GUYS ARE COOL,… PEOPLE WE WENT TEN YEARS BACKWARDS IN THE OLD MMD.
OUR GREAT LEADER ,H,E LPM,LEFT A GOOD TEAM LETS MOVE FORWARD AND DEVELOPE OUR COUNTRY,RB IS A GOOD MAN…WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH GOOD LEADER.
Sata was in the MMD Gvt and a very senior top official for that matter, he should have some ideas on how elections are rigged. I have oways thougt his a master investigator with connections all over, he used to mingle alot with King fred, surely King fredy couldnt tell his slave sata how these things are done, its very surprising. Sure fighting alot over the third term and someone hides from you critical data.
@#256. Crucial
OK. I’ll bite. Prove to me that HH is a tribalist (and I mean concrete proof with credible evidence).
Sata & PF just lost. Every party had agents at each polling station. PF agents, like others, endorsed that the data was correct at all preliminary stages. Is Sata and Lubinda dubting the credibility of their own agents? FACTS.
Elections is about statistics. Zambia has 1/3 urban popolation and 2/3 rural pop. Mr Sata got the urban and Bembaland. As expected he lost the rural pop. Advice to PF is that they should learn to stategise, pick the a convincing langauge befiting the majority of the rural population. Voters from urban areas should equally learn that Zambia is not in town only. you don’t win elections by engaging call-boys. This is not Inter-city Bus terminus; its a country.
Farming is nice. Ba Sata just consider defet and do something before its too late, We already know that they did there dubious thing.
AYO MA LAST KICKS OF A DYING COBRA!
CAN SOME DUMP THIS MAN AT HIS FARM PLIZ!!!
#220 PDX think tank
I think you are full of rhetoric, it is the electrol college vote that determines the president of USA. the problem between bush and Gore was that it was the first for one to win the popular vote and loose the electrol college vote, all what the court did was to interpret the law on a clear case that had no precedence..full stop Bamudala. RB won because us investers in rural zambia could not imagine a grade 4 dropout, with all his MPs expelld in statehouse against a western educated economist/diplomat.
BETA BE A VILLAGER THAN AKAPONYA WIT NO BRAINS RB FOR LIFE.SATA HIT THE ICEBERG MOST THE PEOPLE PERISHED DAMMM…..
#243, Nga iwe Tiyende Pamodzi, uli kuti? Ku nagoya olo uko kuvima snow ku hokkaido? Kamba timvele mudala, we are tired of eating rice. we need ifisashi ne mpwa
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.RATHER RETIRE, YOU CANNOT LOSE THREE IN A ROW AND STILL BLAME THE SYSTEM.
SATA has lost, period.Just imagine how the Kwacha would have depreciated had SATAN won? Zambians would have been in deep trouble than SATANs’ debts he has accrued from hiring the helicopters he was flying in during the campaign period. Let SATA embark on the debt repayment quietly.Thank God RB won, I was guest of honour at one of the Chinese restaurants celebrating RBs victory.
BE OBJECTIVE GUYS…. SOME COMMENTS ARE ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE!!!!!!!!…TYPICAL AFRICANAS,ZINJATHROPUS
this was a battle of the Titans iam glad that easteners have Bembers have loosened their mutual ties. this will make the political playfied highly leveld for all tribes.
ubwato for life………ooooooooooooobwato
HEADLINE POST: “Sata Rejects Rupiah’s friendship because he won a fraudulent election.” He is waiting for another heart attack to reconcile. Anyhow these are surely kicks of a dying horse, Mazoka tried the courts of law in 2001-2005 and he lost, there is something called precedence, surely is Sata really after serving the masses or it is just personal agrandisement?
bauze cobra ba vensese. Cobra is till my president, I don’t recognise sugar daddy. We have to prepare Given Lubinda for 2011. Pabwatoooooooooooo
It is a total waste of time and money to take the option of going to court, because the entire system is corrupted. Zambia is the only country in Africa were corruption has been institutionalised. Electral corruption has been openly accepted and has been endosred by all constitutional offices. Its sad to have an ilegitmate authority to rule over the poor of the poorest because such an ilegitmate authority will have no interest at all of the suffering masses but their own personal interest. You can not rigg in the interest of the so called poor, it can only be in the own selffish interest of the master minder rigger. We know what to expect from this Government, its corruption and corruptio
THANK GOD,PEOPLE OF ZED VOTED FOR RB.SATA CANNOT BE A LEADER COZ HE AINT A LEADER,HE;S A MANAGER!IT’S TIME SATA YOU SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE AND MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE,YOU CHEATING NOBODY,WE KNOW YOUR TRICKS.GO PAY YOUR DEBTS KU ZNBC AND FROM THAT BIZNESS MAN GBM.OR ELSE YOU WILL B DECLARED INSOLVENT
Mr Sata go rest you are now old
Koma ba PF, it is time you became reasonable. Why blame HH, when it was Sata who walked out of the talks which KK facilitated. Your pro-PF paper the post had this as a front page story with pictures of Sata and Guy Scott walking away. Please PF supporters stop being insincere and talking issues out of context.
#270
relax AMFUMU. These are light moments we share as we are all from Zedddddddddddddddddddddd
The Northern Rhodesia police constable thinks he is still employed by Welensky to brutalise us innocent citizens of the sovereign Republic of Zambia. No, Mr. Sata, you will not succeed to beat us into submitting to evil intentions. We the villagers you love to despise so much have spoken and given power to our fellow villager, aBanda. Just accept and start preparing for a worse loss in 2011.
This is why Zambian politics do not attract credibale people in society, we have got only Zambia to ourselves and we dont want to improve it but to make it the place people should not think of as the next destination.
Rigging was done and good for MMD but sad for RB. He is under preasure from those vurchers who surrounded him during campaign, waiting for possitions.
is Kafupi going to be VP. bwino ka
Where were the polling agents, or were they drunk with Chibuku provided the previous night, Sata rejected the electronic system, they used fax, he rejected the transparent boxes, he rejected his own shoes, he rejected his own family because of elections, I mean it is not only PF that was contesting this election, in other words Sata wanted to run the election to his favour, one wonders if he won whether he would still have called it fradulent, by the way the post has lost interest in him.
#196 is pathetic. Yuo are right there in the belly of the beast and you cant see. there has been so much charecter assasination targeted against Obama, in one of his speeches Obama said..”McCain does not talk about real issues, he spends time attacking me” He has been accused of being non american, a friend of terrorsists, and recently did you hear there was an attack that his aunt is an illegal immigrant? and as 198 has stated why does your alias contradict your commentary? obviuosly your a disoriented charecter
# 281
walasa bwana. You are very right, the vultures are waiting for positions and they are back in full force. RB will have a heart attack if he is not careful, another bye election.
#265, Engines,
Thank you for enlighting us further on the Bush saga. My memory is a little bit hazy. The point i was driving at in my submissions to pdx thinktank were that it was that single vote somewhere that put Bush into power. pdx thinktank says the single vote stopped the recount of votes, a decision which favoured Bush because the judges were in his pocket.
The Colonial Constable is just a big problem. All you guys who are supporting Constable SATA are not serious because this is the man who used this very so called corrupt system when he was in MMD.HE IS JUST REAPING WHAT HE SOWED.
pabwatoooooooooooooooooooo
237.nzelu ni plan, Your talk is total nonsense.Zambians are not tribal except for a few elements like you.RB was endorsed by pipo from different tribes including luapula and northern.I’m bemba myself but I’d rather vote for a frog than vote for Sata bcoz Sata is not presidential material by all standards. If I’m bemba but I’m very mad at what FTJ did to our country and I want to see him held accountable. My next choice after RB won’t be HH bcoz he lacks maturity. Why was he insulting an elderly person like RB during his campaigns?Sorry but thats not the culture we want our children to develop so HH can govern the cattle in southern province but not zambia. My choice for 2011 in Chirwa.
261 FREE-MARKET-CAPITLIST on Behalf of #256 Crucial. Why your president is a tribalist. The name Hakainde Hichilema was unknown on the Zambian political scene until the untimely death of Anderson Kambela Mazoka. When Mazoka died, the need to quickly elect a successor was eminent. The funeral was characterized by a lot of politics with UPND members searching through the ranks of their party to find a suitable successor who would lead them to victory in the 2006 elections.
I recall that the succession was involving; names came up along with differing views from various members. Noteworthy were sentiments expressed by certain senior UPND members emanating from the Southern province propagatin
A CHE GUEVARA ati bwanji baba? ise tili Mu Tokyo. Nga imwe?
Ninvela ati chizadiba. Vinkubala, delele na lumanda onse, just to list a few. I will update you as soon as I have full details.
We are back! yes we have resorted to respect our courts and our judicial systems, I hope the system won’t fail us…as for those who think HH conceded defeat out a genuine heart, you are wrong, he did because he does not want to be frustrated by our non working petition system on his part it was thought that it will be a waste of time…
PABWAAAAAAAAATOOOO FOR LIFE
that Mazoka had to be replaced by a fellow Tonga. Those sentiments were then understood to have meant that our UPND colleagues set being a Tonga as prerequisite for any aspiring Presidential candidate. Weeks that followed, the name Hakainde Hichilema was brought up.
#290 & 293 is a Continuation to answer Free Maket capitalist
I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE ACCUSING SATA & PF OF BEING TRIBAL.WEN MAZOKA DIED UPND MADE IT SO CLEAR THAT HE WILL BE REPLACED BY A TONGA.IN PF THERE IS GUY SCOT AND GIVEN LUBINDA.IN UPND I JUST HEAR HH.TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH AS LONG AS HH REMAINS UPND PRESIDENT,UPND WILL NEVER RULE THIS COUNTRY PERIOD.
I shudder to think that a populist tyrant like Sata will one day rule this country because of a popular vote. Electoral college anyone?
Indeed it was rapid swearing in….
In view of the fact that 59% of the voters voted for the opposition it is imperative that the various parties unite in order to defeat MMD/UNIP in future.Zambia urgently needs fresh untarnished leadership.
#293, Nimrod you are right, and that has cost us elections and credibility as a party. This is the lack of analysis on the part of us as Zambians. Madyenkuku and Mwanajiti are the people who uttered those statements. These people have since gone back to MMD and they are not tribalists anymore. It is true there are tonga tribalists, just like there are tribalists in every tribe, just like there are racists in society, nepotists. And precisely this is what UPND should do, hold another conventions, possibly live on TV so that we see what the actual situation is. The post were the first to report about it, but going by the past two weeks behavious shouldn’t we think that the post exaggerated?
RB congrats for rigging but you are next to go to embassy park to lie next to levy.look at how many pipo have been in accidents.all coz of tour greedness.lesa alamona……….
immorality in state house, shame.even wen you were vice (RB)you were never alloed to go out on duty coz of your being dump, shame
VJ, do you still deny that you are a vote rigger? I still want to know why you chose Sikongo constituency for your rigging instead of Mapanza? Just to embarass my Nyengo people? If you are suing Lubinda, know that I’ll apply to be joined in the case. Why is it that no one is accusing Mulongoti, Teta, Sakwiba or Katele of vote rigging? Why rigging wasnt an issue until you joined Nyama Soya team? You are cursed, you are a witch, no wonder God is punishing you with that ailment. Repent, put back the bandage on your head and return to hospital, dont accept that post of Vice President, please.
@#294. NIMROD
I see your point. So are you saying HH is tribalist because his associations are with those that are tribalists??
If so then I hope you don’t mind if I call Obama a genocidal racist. I am just going by your line of thinking. Correct me if I am wrong.
#295 the veep for UPND is Charles Kapita, Secretary General Tiens Kahenya etc
Chairman elections Col Nyambe, Dr Beyani finance etc
Guy Scot is the VP of Sata but why do u guys keep mentioning Given Lubinda as an alternative to Sata???Just float your VP Guy Scot and see how many zambians will vote for him!PF has no membership register,no convention,no party elections,no manifesto(apart from lower taxis, more money in your pockets!),no structures,no MPs,no plan! The only thing they have is Sata and you want to rule a nation????????
U guyz are not thinking. If Sata names the district, those MMD thieves will go and destroy the evidence.
Sata won Luapula, Northern, Lusaka and copperbelt. Come on guyz wat does it take to be president?
I think its high time we need to seriously look at our constitution. In the states u cant be president without winning major states like florida.Am disapointed with HH, the boy is a time waster!
we are not going to be stifled this time around and our voice is going to be heard…Whoever said PF people are for violence was so wrong, have you noticed how well everybody has conducted themselves, such that even the men in combat were feeling shy to move around the city…these guys (MMD) knows what it they are hiding no wonder the over protectiveness…well Kaya!
PF for Life!
You guys take SATA seriously? He is a joker. He is good for the entertainment industry. You need people like him if you want a good laugh but when you finish laughing and you now want to revert to serious business, reality is RB is President for the next three years. Love it or hate it. Until enjoy the jokes from comedian SATA.
You guys take SATA seriously? He is a joker. He is good for the entertainment industry. You need people like him if you want a good laugh but when you finish laughing and you now want to revert to serious business, reality is RB is President for the next three years. Love it or hate it. Until then enjoy the jokes from comedian SATA.
Mr SATA promissed the nation even before the elections that he will not accept the results unless he wins. If this is what it means to be a good politician then politics are bad. What I see in SATA is a display of selfishness. Why did he go for elections if he was the only potential winner? Why did the Zambians have to cast their vote if SATA was the only potential winner? SATA has always avoided losing, and that is why he does not even want any elections in his party because he would not accept to lose; Lubinda knows that. Already he says he will not expect anything from Electoral Comission of Zambia because they are corrupt. But the question is, why write to them to redress the matter?
I wonder if Sata will still maintain that the president must rule for 5 years now that he has lost.
It would be interesting to know if he still holds that view.
Somebody tell me is the DEC still in existance? if so when are they going to arrest the producer and photographer of that pornographic picture in the sunday post.
#305 imagine, a man springs from nowhere bitter that his best chance in 2001 was given to someone else and he thinks he can rule. Sata has one problem he came on the scene to settle scores, so he is getting what he deserves.
#312, she was already charged with indecent exposure.
America goes to the polls today, I hope we are ready to learn a lot from this democratic nation, as far as I am concerned we are many decades away from grasping the concept of Democracy!!!
Had greedy HH agreed to be Sata’s VP things could be different now
316. bonse tulibantu,
I think it was two ways, RECIPROCITY, Remember?
Sata should just accept that he lost. The elections were characterized by apathy which means none of the candidates did enough to be appreciated by the voters. It just happened that RB got more votes than the others. As far as I can imagine, the elections were not rigged per se. What Sata should take issue with is the electoral malpractice exhibited by RB during his campaigns viz: abusing national resources to win favor in rural areas. He is just a victim of the contribution he made to our country’s defective constitution in 1996.
if sata was my age mate i was just going to insult him but i don’t want to behave like HH who kept on insulting RB.When HH told his supporters that RB can’t be pres bcoz he’s too sleepy RB responded by telling him that “on 30th Oct i will show u that even a sleepy person can beat HH in an election!” Now this makes me wonder….if someone who is ‘awake’ like HH can be beaten by even a SLEEPY person then HH must be very useless himself!A sleepy person beating u? how???????
@#316.bonse tulibantu
It was Sata who walked out of the talks.
How is it HH’s fault???
What has the population of the District got to do with the number of Voters-Bo Lubinda wake up.Viva RB Viva.
Geez, we have a lot of Anti-Hichilema’s today.
I didn’t know people hated HH this much.
WOW!!!
Democracy is the recurrent suspicion that more than half of the people are right more than half of the time…but in the zedian case their voice is barely audible…
PABWATO FOR LIFE!!!
#322. Free-Market-Capitlst
Personally I don’t hate HH – but he is a politician subject to scrutiny if so be, but not with hatred…
#314.Thanks, but the law says being in possesion of pornographic material is an offence in this case we shouldint just deal with indecent exposure. In my view our children should have not been exposed to that matterial had it not been for the post to find it prudent to publish that in the most read paper.
RB didn’t abuse any resources.A sitting pres is entiltled to use any state facilties at any given time whether or not he/she is standing in an election. The much talked about sugar distribution didn’t amount to malpractices according to our laws beacuse the distribution was done before RB even lauched is nomination papers. In as far as the zambian laws are concerned no one at that time of the distribution had been officially nominated to stand for presidency of the republic of zambia.
Ignorance of the law can bring un necessary public noise.Or has everyone been opinionated by this guy u call Mmembe?
SATA seems to be very problematic. He confessed himself during his reconciliation with LPM after the illness that his criticism of Mwanawasa was not all genuine. He stated to the nation that some of it was resulting from mere hatrade. Now he tells the nation that he will not accept results if he loses even before elections are conducted. Mr SATA caused the apathy that we saw during the elections because most of his followers saw no need in voting because their candidate, SATA will not win because they will rig the elections. This is what caused SATA to lose these elections; look at the margin – only 35,000 voters. I hope he has learnt a lesson so that next time he will not sing ‘rig’
#302 Free-Market-Capitalist.
Q1.HH may not be tribal but certainly voters associate him with tribalism especially bearing in mind the background given earlier in #290 & 293. Note that when those issues were raised early in his political career, HH either never opposed the tribal sentiments or did denounce them convincingly enough. So by actually accepting the party nomination to be a presidential candidate, Hakainde was seen to embrace those sentiments hence the tag
Q2. Please explain to me in plain english what you ment Obama is Genocidal Racist .I have missed your point on that one.
#306 seem to be one of the few that is really giving it a thought before contributing. How can you win and yet you are afraid to celebrate? Those of us who even have a privilege to have a computer and contribute to Lusaka Times are honestly better than those in the Village, but do you really agree that Villagers are better off compared to the people in towns?
The MMD have won now it is time to honor the promise. Let us keep our eyes open. MORE FUEL REDUCTIONS – I am waiting.
327.Fine!
From your own assessment and understanding do you think the Elections where free and fair? What about you the significant other, what do you think?!
@#328. NIMROD
A1. Unlike most candidates, HH does not go about on petty issues like spending three months of campaign time trying to denounce his tribal tag. He has stated countless times he wants to unite Zambians. He has said countless times that other politicians try to use the tribal thing to discredit him. Maybe people have selective hearing but it seems like people never heard any of those things. The only thing they hear is “HH is a tribalist”. HH is the only candidate in this race that has talked about what he plans to achieve. Others have been fighting with each other and calling each other names (Nyama soya, red eyed snake).
[tbc
The problem with sata is that he has cried wolf so many times in the last 1 week that it is difficult to take him serious on his allegations anymore. Anyway Im sure he needs to keep up the illusion thats he was dribbled out of a win by the MMD. My own opinion is that sata was dribbled by the post who gave him the illusion that he was headed for victory. As for the insults that PF carders have continued to haul at rural voters; what can we expect of supporters of a party that has never had an election. To them, if you vote against sata you are supposed to be beaten (Dr Chishimba and his parents can attest to that). PF carders think democracy means voting for sata
Now Mr SATA says he will petition the electoral commission to verify the election results in all those constituencies, but he, at the same time, says he is not expecting anything from ECZ. What is he thinking about this man? Why petition and before the exercise is done you say it will not be done correctly? Does he think something can only be correct if it is in his favour? That is what I call an attirude of selfishness. That is the reason why SATA wanted Chiluba to continue rulling. Things cant be correct unless they favour you and not others? Is that the leadership SATA wanted to give this nation? I hope his promises were not deceptive, I am losing a bit of faith in Mr SATA’s promises.
cont from #331]
A2. The reason I brought up the Obama thing is because of Obama’s associations with his racist pastor and how Obama still defended him even after hearing the statements the pastor made.
So the Obama thing was an analogy. It was meant to mean that calling Hakainde a tribalist is like calling Obama a racist.
Did you, too, My friends on this blog, suppose democracy was only for elections, for politics, and for a party name? I say democracy is only of use there that it may pass on and come to its flower and fruit in manners, in the highest forms of interaction between [people], and their beliefs — in religion, literature, colleges and schools — democracy in all public and private life….
@#328. NIMROD
Not that it matters but Hakainde Hichilema is the only candidate amongst the 4 that agreed to sign a social contract so as to assure the citizens that he will achieve what he promised. The others refused.
2011- HH
King Cobra wont be president kwasila mange
#325 in retrospect you are right, possession of obscene material is illegal and that picture was obscene and on the front page, it was enough for them to carry it as a story if they thought it was newsworth, I actually had to grab the newspaper from my 6 year old son who out of disgust covered the picture immediately we bought the paper
While we may hate Sata, we should ask ourselves one cardinal question. Was the extension of voting in Keletwa, Siyanganya Basic School and Nangandu village recorded before the ECZ chairperson in time? The answer is a big no. While i know that elections can be held at a different date other than the official one, this only applies in times of emmergency and this too the ECZ chairperson MUST be informed in very good time. But the story coming from ECZ itself is that these elections that took place on Friday and Saturday were not blessed by ECZ save alone the presiding officers who went ahead to conduct elections without the consent of the chairperson. Lets debate this issue
Good advise to Sata and HH, all you need to do is work out strategy of rigging in rural areas, that is what nyama soya did and his MMD. They now concetrate in rural areas. So do the same in 2011 you will see the difference.
#334, the I like your reasoning, and that is what I was trying to explain to fellow bloggers that Madyenkuku is now in MMD, does it mean by way of association even the MMD is tribalist. HH denounced these individuals but people just refused to listen because they chose to listen to Mmembe who has a personal issue with HH and the Mazoka family, why do you think he married Mazoka’s daughter? But this is beyond the current topic of discussion.
#333 FINE, I thot the story says he will petition using the courts of law. Mulebelenga, thats why pa zed muponena ama simple exams. In this case the courts of law are the ones who will compel ECZ to do the needful. Otherwise, hearing that voting was conducted on other days other than the official date makes me sad.
Mr SATA’s scares caused the investor confidence to go down as we saw the exchange rate of kwacha to dollar rise from K3,200 to K4,800 within about 1 and half months. Just yesterday the kwacha gained from K4,800 to K3,800. This was because the investors who witheld further investment for fear of the possibility of SATA winning, they now have started to offload the dolla back to their projects. This is now adding to the forex on the market. Now you can see where we were going if SATA had won. Because of this I wish to that God that SATA discouraged some of his followers that there was no need to vote because the elections were going to be rigged. This did more harm to PF than other parties.

I for one would love to see these great opposition forces Sata and HH come together and form a great force…Honestly these are the only credible opposition we have in Zambia, the others who would want to stand in 2011 after paddling with RB and MMD are not worth the name and thought of Opposition they are chancers…
VIVA SATA & HH!!!
WELL WHAT CAN WE DO WE LOST AND WHAT REMAINNS IS TO ACCEPT LETS SHOW THAT PF IS ONE TRUE INDEPENDENT PARTY AND READY TO DEAL WITH THINGS ,BA TATA BA SATA LETS JUST 4GET AND CONCENTRATE ON 2011 IF AT ALL YOU STILL NEED TO STAND I BET U DO.
HARD LUCK ITS DIFFICULT TO OVERPOWER THE GOVERMENT,LETS CROSS OUR FINGERS SO THAT IT DOESNT HAPPEN IN STATES COZ OBAMA MUST WIN ITS TRUE THEY NEED CHANGE AS MUCH AS WE NEEDED IT.
I now losing an election especially when everything seemed fine all through the campaigns until the last announcement of the results is very annoying. Actually it is a health hazard. My advice i To Sata and Pf is to be strong time is the best healer
#316 Do not blame HH for Sata’s loose! It was Sata who barked out of the allaince otherwise HH was willing. Sata had underestimated HH in this election.!
Its game over 4 mr SATA & his POOR FINISHING party (PF)
SWEET SIXTEEN FIRST LADY NYAMA SOYA HOW DID YOU DO IT??? BRAVOO TO HIS YOUNGEST KIDS THEY ARE LOVELY

342. CHE GUEVARA,
You should be lying to yourself to think that the courts of law dont recognise the electoral code of conduct. I assure you that the electoral commission was formed by act of parliament and the electoral code. The courts will rely on the same information that the electoral commission will supply. Do you think the courts will go to the 78 constituencies and verify the results by itself? Now, you you like passing exams if SATA does not trust ECZ tell me how he is going to trust the judgement coming from the courts based on submissions from ECZ?
No 14. you are very subjective and ilogical in your way of assesing people.Who tells you that if you are a policeman then you dont think. You are pretending to be of that intellect why cant you do what the police man has done. if you have never watched comedy you visit lusaka play house.how i wish i knew you in person.
The old man had a good run. He fought a good fight but sometimes things do not always turn out the way we want them to be. Life is full of surprises. Sometimes the bad people win and sometimes the good people suffer… You just have to let go, that is the power of a losing victor. In the eyes of many urban Zambians, Sata was victorious. Now it is time to move on. I suggest PF starts looking for a replacement soon.
# 56, You are scaring the hell out of some of us. The reason some of us did not vote for RB was not because we did not love or trust RB but by mere fact that he was surrounded and religiously supported by people like TETA, VJ, MABENGA and ther non performers but job seekers like B.Y Mwila, SAKI and NEVERS M. So if RB added more insult to the big wounds by appointing TETA VEEP, surely I WOULD migrate to GOMA in DRC. Once again, #56 you are living in your WILDEST of DREAMS. Infact it’s not a dream but a NIGHTMARE. Good Luck..
2PAC this was Sata and his Government of 1991 – 2001 which introduced user fees in schools so that these people could remain uneducated so that they could take advantage of them, now it has hit him back. 7 years of LPM have given these people education and woe be unto MCS
This is BS. The only other time I shall ever set foot in a polling booth will be when I ll be casting a vote for myself, at whatever level.
Number 14 Observer…you are simply cantankerous, malicious and a hot head. You want to sound intelligent even when its clear that you have never eaten even the thinest of books. You are a low-life suffering from a strange identity crisis. How I wish I knew you because I am always interested in engaging such cheap brains face-to-face.
Now we can see openly who the tribalist are. Imagine the so called UPND Convention which took place years is still an issue especially from tribalist who are scared of HH. They know if HH ascends to President, in future useless characters like 328 will never be president ever. Why not talk about the real tribalism of the RB in the eastern Province where chief MPENZENI OPENLY TRIBALISED by saying that easterners shud only vote for the easterners and that is exactly wht happened. So who is tribal here?
I wish VJ dead.Iam not a Pf supporter but i wanted change.lets not cry over spilled milk. We just have to move on. I dont know why its very difficult to unseat the ruling party in Africa.
This is BS. The only other time I shall ever set foot in a polling booth will be when I ll be casting a vote for myself, at whatever level. Period!
Iam speechless.Iam just waiting for the coming of Christ,Iam tired to be ruled by greedy people (MMD)
It is not true that all the parties that took part in the recent elections had agents at all polling stations. There are about 19000
polling stations in Zambia and only mmd had agents in all polling
stations because all the returning officers are employed by grz and its party. The majority of polling stations which did not have UPND,PF,HP agents are in rural areas.Further more mmd has dcs in all the districts who make sure things are done in line with what their bosses want or else they lose their jobs. The announcement of results is done in such a way that the winning candidate’s best results are
announced first so that the riggers know how many votes they need to add for them to win.
HH is UPND and Satamania is for PF.Where is the blame coming from about the pact?Satamania walked out from Kalundu house together with that white chap, Guy Scott. He was not interested to merge with the young man H H.
You lost out guys and need to plan for 2011.Remember the game is winners and losers.
This story is a very big insult to those people who were in the field monitoring counting. Is it true that they let the figures arrive in Lusaka and only Mr. Sata so that the numbers were not tallying? Why then did we have those “dummies” all over the country “monitoring”. Where I voted I say that the monitors had a voters register. Simple arithmetic would have shown the famous primary school principle of “votes minus registered voters” it can’t.
#330. The Spectator!!
In my view the elections were transparent and peaceful. The term ‘free and fare’ is very relative. If RB illegally used any unentitled resources or did anything contrally to the electoral code, the elections cant called ‘free and fare’. If Sata did any malpractice such as alarming the electorate that the elections would be rigged, if he scared people that if he lost their would be violency in the country, if SATA impounded media vehicles, ECZ consignments etc on unfounded suspicion that they had ballot papers all cases of which proved false but cause a lot of voter apathy, you can not call the election ‘free and fare’
Th national mourning declared fo Elijah Mudenda is a strong showing that UNIP is back with it’s retarded practices
#363, well said.
Amen
I wish MMD under RB will understand and know that, the conception of worth, that each person is an end per se, is not a mere abstraction. Our interest in it is not merely academic. Every outcry against the oppression of some people by other people, or against what is morally hideous is the affirmation of the principle that a human being as such is not to be violated. A human being is not to be handled as a tool but is to be respected and revered…
My fear is that do these Impostors have respect for the worth human life looking at how they flaunted irresponsibility on their way to “VICTORY”… am scared for my country and my children….
Sata should be be more precise in his statements if he wants our sympathy. Where on earth can there be more voters than the population of the area? There should be something the old man is missing, I think he needs help. To you 2pac, please don’t insult the villagers; they are also Zambians and have the same right to vote like you do. If you want the opposition to win tell them to concentrate campaigning in rural areas where 65% of Zambia’s population is.
366. Fine!
You got my thumbs up…

CB is full of un educated voters no wonder they vote using their bodies instead thinking plus a combination heart. this goes to lsaka central we thought this area is for educated instead even villagers in Shangombo think and analysise things beta. VIVA Rural voters. Shame on uoy so called educated in those areas
#361. I agree with you. I dont think its worth voting anymore. Is true that KK is RB’s In-law?

Keep the fire Burning man you blogin sense
Hear hear hear, so you’ll hear that the 78 constituencies are where PF did not do well.
If hiv/aids have failed to kill VJ, let the thief assassinate this useless character and his dead body shu not be allowed to be burried on the soils of the Southern Province. I pray that he dies the soonest the beta
Ba 2 PAC!!
Thanks very much mudala, I am just too tired of being oppressed in my country, I work like a slave to meet ends and I am heavily taxed…i don’t even see how my money is spent…too make matters worse VILLAGERS have determined my fate!!!!
Im at a loss to understand why PF carders are trying to blame everyone and everything in sight for their mammoth loss (after mammoth rallies). You have blamed VJ, rural voters, rigging, intimidation and now HH; what next are you going blame? PF knew from the word go that they couldnt win this election alone becoz of their skewed supportbase. So they tried to intimidate HH into abandoning the race and supporting sata. Come on guys; by now you should know that HH supporters are not blind followers like PF supporters are. They is almost no one in zambia who supports HH who can give his/her vote to sata. Its almost like expecting someone who practices christianity to easily switch to Islam
I will pray all through out that the plane that will be carrying VJ, TETA,MULONGOTI,CHITALA,MABENGA,RB to develop engine failure and perish in a plane accident before they begin to rooting our already limited resources. to hell with your shame victory
Does it mean that PF representatives were not present when the votes were being counted? It beats my mind.
381. Mumbwa for Real change
:)LOL!!!!
Seriously speaking, we had no presidential candidate suitable for ths country. RB, Sata, HH; may be Miyanda except tht he went shopping when his friends were campaigning.
I have seen HH supporters want to paint good picture about their candidate and discredit Sata. Check the numbers and see what pipo want. It is very difficult for a neighbor to evict you from your house. It is also difficult to remove the incumbent govt from power. They did it in 1991 bcoz MMD united against one enemy UNIP, and therefore, it was difficult to rig the election. HH alone cannot make in 2011 though intelligent. He will do well to link up with another big power, not MMD ofcourse, but may be HP or PF. In that way he will build his CV as that of RB,or SATA. Pls just swallow the pride. The elite masses made a clear choice on the boart coz they saw a drive in him to drive theeconomy.
#375, that assetion seems to have the capacity to hold water. I ll take personal interest to snoop around. Will report back.
#352, FINE, petitions of the president are done thru the chief justice as he is the returning officer for presidential elections and its thru his power that lower organs can move. I am well vested in the constitution and i have read how petitions are done.On the issue of courts going to the affected areas, what will impede them? FYI why are some of the cases of Regina tried in Ndola while others in Lusaka? You think the courts are that rigid or stationery? No, some times these pipo would rather move to the site of the crime to have first hand information.
I believe that liberty is the only genuinely valuable thing that men have invented, at least in the field of government, in a thousand years. I believe that it is better to be free than to be not free, even when the former is dangerous and the latter safe. I believe that the finest qualities of man can flourish only in free air – that progress made under the shadow of the policeman’s club is false progress, and of no permanent value. I believe that any man who takes the liberty of another into his keeping is bound to become a tyrant, and that any man who yields up his liberty, in however slight the measure, is bound to become a slave….
WATCH THIS SPACE…
Yes Democracy favours f**ls – 96% of the government revenue comes from people in the urban areas in from of taxes especially along the line of rail & they have always said government is not giving them a fair deal as far as their tax contributions are concerned and they have said away with the MMD; & here is a bunch of villagers who have absolutely no benefit from the MMD & no hope for improvement in sight & they cant even feel for the people in the urban areas. I pray that no one from my village will ask for money to buy airtime fertiliser seed & which they never got at K50,000 during election campaigns. Sorry I have to pay for my electricity, rent, school fees, water, petrol, charcoal, PAY
# 381 may all you wish for others happen to you first. Remember you are also going to die.
Can some one confirm if that man caught with premarked ballot papers has been detained or mmd have let him go free. He committed a fraud serious
#42 – Miss Pretty
Have manners, how do u tell a big person to be ashemd of himself (Mr Sata). Where you come from there is no respect for elders. Umukulu mukulu even if he has made a mistake find a way of addressing the issue. Do not insult. Grow up and write sensible arguments.
:Law provdes for results verification, so why deny the query? it is also important to protect the election system if people are abusing it against Mazoka or Sata or anybody else. What is your fear?
It`s funny in Zambia, whilst barot paper were being distributed to all far flang areas, the MMD were busy distributing invitation letters to neighbouring heads of state to attend the ceremony….and on a sunday for that matter.
Zambians are good at talking and will never learn from our past mistakes…..USA are voting today and surely they will be a big difference with what happened here..RB is a cursed leader and whatever he will be doing surely wont hold water!!
#385 I dont know who you are refering to as the elite masses who voted for sata. As far as my eyes can see most of the real ‘elite’ voted either HH or RB (just for the sake of maintaining sanity in the country) while the urban dwellers in shanty compounds (are they also elite??) voted for sata. In this instance I use elite to mean “informed, learned”, I suppose you use elite to mean “living in lusaka, irrespective of where in lusaka”. As I have already stated before, I feel safe to have the destiny of my nation decided upon by a rural farmer than an urban kaponya.
#373 #381 Be good losers, avoid hate and voodooism.. It time to pray for our leaders and not curse them…
#352, FINE, the courts of law are not part of the excutive and will do things independently. Its the president who appoints the ECZ chairperson and its thru his executive powers but the judiciary has its own tribunal to look into election matters.
“Bar-rot paper” in the sence that it`s now a rotten paper which you cannot worst your time marking a cross on….cause it`s so useless and has lost meaning cause of rigging!
Pastor J help as pray for evil VJ to perish or are you feeling sorry for evil I know you kind separate light from Darkness
Post mortem:Way forward for 2011
The size of the rallies is NOT an indication of supporters. It has been seem that these were just a bunch of curious people. Politicians should also urge the so called supporters to register as voters and to actually turn up and vote otherwise, noone should cry foul when the vote is decided for them.
I agree with another blogger that one opposition will be better placed to overturn the incumbant government. Think MMD in 1991.
If above is not acceptable to all the aspiring presidents, try the following:
PF to hold convention and elect a candidate for the next elections.
#381. Mumbwa for Real change,
You have a very evil attitude. I pray that God will help you to change. Be careful the way you curse because if you case what God has blessed you risk receiving a curse directly from God. This is because God has said to those he has blessed that, “I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you”. And he has also says to those belonging to him that the should not curse but bless. You feel God has not chosen RB to lead this country; but suppose he has actually chosen him dont you think by cursing the person he has called to lead the country you are inviting curses from God? If you believe in God, think about this matter seriously.
cont’d
UPND to let electorate know who the other senior party officials are otherwise we will continue to consider them tribal.
Last but not least, do the ground work!
Election results from 1991 are available from the electarol commission website, for pattern matching and can be used to identify areas where the parties are weak.
They can also be used to check whether the number of voters in each area is consistent with the registered voters.
No 26, thats good thinking.
Just think of it why the rush in sworing in the President, RB knows he did not win. He did not even look happy on that Sunday afternoon. Cheating will never take you anywhere, you will remain quity for rest of your life. RB the truth shall set you free, just be bond enough and except defeat.
Why rush to swear in a person when they are irregularities? Shame, shame, shame.
#359 Ba Mumbwa for Real Change Toothless Bull dog Don’t just ponk yours nose in some discussion which you dander heard can’t understand .You were suppose to follow the discussion before you put your crocodile fingers on the key board .Watch you steps. Leave this Brog for Guys with brains like Free Market Capitalist & others
#343 Fine it is not SATA who caused Kwacha to Dollar to change. It is always like that during election time even in America things are not stable until elections are over.
Now is the time to get involved in farming and be the bread basket of Africa…food my friends are going to be the next biggest commodity…and with ample of fertile land and water supply which Zambia is blessed with it will work wonders for the country.
385 you say in 1991 there was no rigging. Please ask KK,he was the
first to cry foul and said that the elections had been rigged. The same pipo that KK claimed had rigged the election are still here with
the same mmd.
PF cadres, advise your president to step down for someone else. Three times just trying what is not yours. It is too much. Awee mwee twanaka ukuvota!!!!
Ba sata all talk no facts ,give it up old man
you the opposition should remember this very obvious and simple truth,”you cant reap where you did not sow”. if u just campaigned in towns that are full of irresponsible kaponyas and hoped the people in the village would vote for you, im sorry. you have learnt the hard way. for now i say go back to the drawing board and start planning how many tonnes of sugar and citenges you are gonna take to shangombo in 2011.
Elections were rigged during Mwanawasa’s mourning period. Imwe mwe balelanda ati they were free and fair you leak from the same boot. How do you say the elections were free and fair when others were being caught with ballot papers, others were voting on Firday and Saturday, is it fair. same with exams, students cant write a subject today and others the following day, same subject.
VJ, Mlongoti, Tetamashimba, RB will die a terrible death they cant be playing with innocent souls. Go to rural areas where ever they voted for you, us in urban areas we dont want you.
MWEFIPONDO MWE
Refer to 406, Im sorry if think that you are more educated more than other or probably more analytical. You sound so childish and un informed in various issues. You seem to be luve with the deeds of VJ and his team who I still beleive deserve to have a plane crush and perish to say goodby to election rigging. In case you share the money obtained from corruption with womaninzers like the groug of VJ and rape case with RB, PLZ TO hell with your wrong thinking.
#387. CHE GUEVARA,
I like you views about how petitions are made. SATA knows that an election petition will never go directly to courts of law without going to ECZ. First Sata has written the petition to ECZ which is the first step before it can get to courts of law. You also understand that the chief justice is the presiding officer, meaning in a way he is part and parcel of the electoral system which which is managed by ECZ. Your example of regina’s case is not applicable because there is no govt institution btn regina and the courts. Regina’s cases are direct from individual to courts, therefore the premises for your regina example are wrong premises causing inconsistency on the urgument
Sata should tell his image builder the Post who were pomping to collect facts for him and show evidence.
copperbelt and Lusaka is not Zambia concede defeat old man we need new man in PF to stand as Presido i.e Dr. Chishimba can do
Sata has a point. If anything, it’s the people in rural areas that are more disgruntled with the rule of the MMD. The rural areas have completely been neglected and it beats me to see how well the MMD did there!
We want ot warn the MDD and the state security wings which has become MDD security wings to stop rigging if they are to avoid strife in the nation. Otherwise in 2011, if it happens the the bush formula will apply
We told HH and SATA to merge but they refused. we r the voters and we knew that if the 2 formed a pact, MMD wud hav gone. it only shows that they are selfish leaders who jst want to be presidents. how can u win with such an attitude. Mulimbe
I am looking at the results right now and no where have I seen where the total number of votes cast being greater than the number of registered voters. I however do not have access to the official voters registers so we shall await the evidence.
FODEP run a parallel voters count and found the results to be “consistent” with the ECZ results. Further more, each polling station had agents from stakeholders. So what went wrong? Looking at the previous voting pattern, the opposition should have sent vigilant agents to the rural areas to ensure rigging did not take place.
The opposition was going to cry foul if they didnt win the elections anyway so we were expecting this.
If anyone feels they are not happy with the results of the elections, let them present evidence and be heard in the courts of the law. When will a country be truly democratic when all people don’t have confidence in its electoral process or when they believe that their court system is extremely slow? It is us to make the difference and bring about a situation that we desire. No one will make our country better but ourselves. How many people will vote in future if they know their vote won’t count? Let’s not blame anyone or any system when we have all the powers to bring about a desirable environment. God bless Zambia.
Zambians have spoken. Till 2011, Move on!
#416, the rural voters decided to go with MMD because of lack of a viable alternative. At least they are not like urban voters who fell for sata’s claims that he was gonna turn the manure in his backyard garden into electricity-for-all within 90days. Sata was just accepted in Lusaka urban and CB urban. Nobody knows (or wants) sata beyond the shanty compounds of lusaka. Thats why RB beat him even in places like chilanga, chongwe, masaiti, mpongwe, which are along the line of rail. What we should be debating here is how to equip voters in mandevu, chawama, kanyama, chaisa etc with more knowledge that can help than think beyond populism
In all honesty, I don’t see how these elections where rigged. Sata just accept.
We are willing to drop you off at your farm.
406. NIMROD,
You say it is not SATA who caused the Kwacha to fall, why then is it that some investors celebrated the victory of RB? Or do you think they were just happy that the elections were over?
You sound diplomatic but not that convicing.
Gentlemen lets not make silly comments. Its not sata who lost but us voters and this is because of rigging. You can laugh at sata but i can assure you even HH will never win under the same conditions.Sata is seen to be useless now but we shud not forget about the future,he is making things straight. To me its difficult to win elections in zambia, even a chinese can stand under MMD and win.Careful zambians!
the director at ECZ needs to fired before he sends Zambia into chaos just because he wants to maintain his potty belly. This political leviathian at this institution should be stopped otherwise we the citizens have every right to stop him and his cohorts at the red brick. they must stop fixing elections.

Now #422 Sara is a very sensible and responsible citizen of this beautiful country. Every level headed person who is not driven by ruched thinking could not fathom giving the instruments of power to the loose canon that Sata is. I think he will still stand in 2011 and still lose.
Hai, I am Kalabo resident. who is leading? Is it Sata or RB. next time the results centre should be in Kalabo here.
#430,i think yes, you’re not well informed!!Because the Exchnage going up or down does not mean Rupiah Banda,But it dependes with the economy of the Country. You can only have a btter kwacha if you’re exporting more and having alot of Good investers in the country .So i know its your choice but,i will give RB a benifit ofn doubt and see how he will improve our economy in the next three years. The point iam tying to make is that,HH and Sata, also know the important of foreign Investors and the Exchange Rates. So i don’t think they would allow themselves so low not to attract investors.
me’mbe is also a sugar dady and image bulder for Sata

#413 Ba Mumbwa for Real Change
You seem like you are pissed off big time .Cool down before you lose your energy for nothing. You claim to be order but without wisdom. How can you curse people to death? (it was written but never told –whatever done to thee it will be done to them). You are the Tumi Dallas without spocal .Get up your Skeleton & start moving & stop crying over spilled milk. See you 2011.God Bless you.
#427 reality check.
Thanks if thats true. he must be a very strong man, how can you survive cancer when someone is busy puting kids into your wifes womb. May God bless him as Membe continues insulting our leaders and legitimate institutions. once you take someones wife you will always be bitter and will always insult till your mouth gets rotten no matter how much money you have.
I dont really understand ba sata, in 2006 he said its worst of time to petition the election now today he’s talking about it. I guess he’s owing some pipo more than he can give back, and if in Kalobo they were voting on friday and sat where were the PF agents didn’t they communicate to there bosses and if they were not there can they blame it on MMD. Lets just move on. Sata will never rule this country period and its no secret. He just talks to much and full of empty promises.
Its time for King cobra to accept defeat. This time around, there was no such a thing as rigging. Come 2011, i’ll both campaign vote for HH. All those that are vocal on tribe will see red.
For now country men and women, lets wait and see how the Americans vote and set the tone for us in 2011. Their choice is not on age or tribal considerations but black Vs white having in mind either of the candidates’ policies.
Ba Sata just accept the election than worsting your time with petitions. In 2006 you were against it why this time is it that you are owing to much than you can give back. sata will never be president of this country period, he just talk to much and full of empty promises. please serve us by just resiging and try farming.
I believe the more than 681,000 survivors of the titanic where taught how to swim by their captain King Cobs.I saw them retriving the remains and rebuilding for another sail in 2011.

God bless him while Membe continues to insult our leaders and legitimate institutions. when you take someones wife you will always be bitter and you will insult till your mouth gets rotten no matter how much money you have because the womb you are breeding your little kids from is unholly.
M’mbe should go for HIV test again he seems to like girls very much
hell of him to do such a thing when he konws very well that mutinta’s hubby is still alive. people who claim to learned to behave that way if this is true let him be sorted out
Just Accecpt that u were beaten. U thought u could win on your own and yet u are just as toothless as HH and Miyanda.
VIVA RB
why blame M’membe is Mutinta was opening her legs whille knowing very well that she’s married? the problem is the woman, remember Adam and Eve?
I have talked to many people who voted for SATA, majority are saying they voted for SATA because they wanted more money in their pockets. Here is our conversation:
Me: ‘how would it happen?’
Voter: ‘SATA knows’.
Me: ‘do you know that Sata was advisor to Chiluba for 10 yrs?’
Voter: ‘yes but he was not on the steering’
Me: ‘was Chiluba putting more money in your pockets?’
Voter: ‘No’.
Me: ‘did Sata know that Chiluba was not putting money in your pockets?’
Voter: ‘yes he knew’.
Me: ‘why was Sata not advising Chiluba to put money in your pocket?’
Voter: ‘Chiluba was not listening’
Me: ‘Why did Sata want Chiluba to continue rulling?’
Voter: ‘Pabwatooo..’
Sata is a tired old man who should just retaire and concentrate on somthing else. Just looking at his old face makes me feel tired. he had huge crowds coz people wanted to be entertained. After these elections i strongly belive that God does indeed live here ZED!!!! He has saved us from Sata once again. He should just donate the money he is trowing away by going to court to the poor in Mandevu!!!!!! ACCEPT DEFEAT!! mpa clocko…………
The evil that men do lives long after they’re dead! remember how Levy came into power with only 27%? its his evil that is still hovering around us and unless his sad soul rests, we’ll never have free and fair elections.remember Maureen said he died an unhappy man man, why?may his soul rest in peace indeed!!!!! and did you used to notice that red ring on Levy’s right hand?mmmmmm
So America’s economic problems = Zambia’s Poverty increase.Economists i need an explaination on this.
I WAS TOLD THIS HH GUY ONLY HAS SUPORT IN ONE PROVINCE, WAT MAGIC DID HE USE TO BEAT SATA AND MIYANDA IN N WESTERN, WESTERN AND PARTS OF CENTRAL PROVINCES.
its ugly to follow politics in zed, i feel more of an American now than Zambian, i’m ashamed.if Sata’s face makes you tired, i’m afraid you’ll die of RB’s detours on his face!!!
#429 Moth in Chipata is like Kabulonga in Lusaka and that is why you can afford to send your kids overseas to study. You even have access to Lusaka times meaning that you are well informed and you are probably better off than those living in Ndeke (Kitwe) or Kabwata in (LSK). People living in Chief Malama, Nsefu (Malambo)or Mwanya, Chanjuzi are proper rural persons who rely on the state’s engineered media. The state wants them to hear a one sided story – those are the ‘information starved’ persons the people are refering to. In these ares people still dearly clucth their transistor radios to listen to radios 1 and 2. My brother you are informed – despite distorting the information.
RB is now presidnet and the ones who’ll be most hurt by this fact will be MMd members themselves because the VP is Tilyenji Kaunda,Chief Govenment advisor is KK so once again we’ll be back to coupons!
Each time SATA looses he emerges with much more energy in the next elections always increasing the number of MPS and his own votes. Wait a minute, by 2011 all you MMD blubber mouths will be frustrated with your visionless Nyama Soya and will all park in the boat for eventual redemption!! PABWATOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FYE!!!!!

A revolution can never be stoped but delayed. We are sick and tired of Mwadya Mweka Daddy (MMD),We all know that nothing shall come out of the petition since Rejected Banda(RB) is now a don for rural dwellers.Very soon he will sign the incraesed hefty salaries for constitutional office holders, kalanga imwe kalanga. He will also wake somebody up from sleep to be his veep.Thank you very much villagers for impossing a king we have rejected on us just because of sugar, cooking oil, salt, chitenge material and many others but remember that you will not receive money for fertilizer from me as your relative since you have found a capable king who has give you what will last 4 three yez.Pabwatooooooooo!

Good to see you!
learn to write short comments ba MMD efyo mwebela ifipuba.mwanya mwalilwala utulo
446. Fine, without sounding anti – Sata i can relate to what you are saying.
I was on a bus one night when i heard this drunk kaponya massacre the PF manifesto.According to him all Bus drivers would start driving big trucks and here’s a little gem ..”baakaamba you just go drinking and when you wake up in the morning, more money in your pocket!” he drooled.
Going to court on this one is out of step for sata. Chief justice sakala will be the one looking at the case. same men who put RB. waste of time. He should start talking to UPND so that they form a pact. the numbers will kill MMD in 2011.
Big man Sata, at least have respect for ECZ. Don’t insult them. A bit of diplomatic language would help.
Sata knows he may not be there in 2011. His health is failing him. He will be 74 or 75. He has to be president now.
PF needs to prepare someone to take over from Sata. Question is, will PF be formidable without Sata? So 2011 may be a different scenario altogether.
#412. I nullify, cancel and refuse your comments about death in the Great Name of Jesus Christ! Vengence belongs to God, so ask God to deal with your enemies and not you because what goes round comes rounds. Remember it is God who appoints leaders.
Watch out! It may just end up happening to you.
you so RB dishing out handouts, why didnt you join him? see wat it has costed you.
Sata is like a kaponya type he likes kuponta ponta
stop it and talk like an adult people will vote for you
#433 Dont assume that Sata knows the importance of foreign investment or exchange rate dynamics. this is a knowledge based economy and speculative markets have a very big effect on value of goods. Sata talks about nationalisation when he knows very well that we failed to recapitalise the mines when he was #2 to FJT. forex depends or exports and we export copper through the investors you want to squeeze. we also export cotton through the same investors Sata was targeting with his populist agenda. I can assure i contributed nmoney to MMD and it was worth it.
#433 you dont seem to understand how speculative investment markets are. The investors knew Sata had no MPs to form Govt. secondly he has a populist social agenda, thirdly he is a grade 4 drop out. So the speculation in the buisness community is that of an unstable economy hence need to withdraw money from it and observe how he govns for some time or go elswhere. For RB its continuity and he is an economist(a member of the club)because of that confidence we can put in our money hence the fall in forex. Buy some stocks on LUSE my dear you will be forced to take interest in these things. RURAL IS GOOD

Guys dont just say PF, PF, PF when you dont contribute anything to the party. The owners of that helicopter are asking for a million dollar when they know we havent won the election and our leader has no buisnesses at the moment since they all collapsed during levy’s time.lets contribute to the secretariate gentlemen before we even waste more money in the courts.

Sakala 102, i hope when you die, you will be thrown away like a dog there in Europe. other than that, lets have your ashes here we will use them as fertiliser for our flowers. Have respect for old pipo you Jerk.
Sata is sad because he has lost a chance to be accorded a state funeral and be buried at The Pope Square where his will states his remains should be returned to earth from whence they came. The chap was campaigning for a state funeral and he now realises given his expiration date being before 2011, he will have none. Besides, when he kaputs, we shall return his poisonous remains to Mbeya, we do not want our soil contaminated.
Ba Sata amuzume kuti mwaluza kukusala kwainda awa. Ndiza mwelede kwinka kukulima indiza inga mwapasa ashoonto.
#469 Engines. Good point. So much ignorance in some people. Help them.
Where did PF get the stats of that district?
Let’s see what RB has for us? We need hardworkers like Sata. See what he did when he was minister of Health. I hope RB implements his polices. We hope to see free education and free coupons for Meal mealie. UNIP.
Hey mr Sata knows what he is talking about.. he didnt lose just look at the figures 40.1 RB and 38.1SATA can`t u read u people …
#285 No we will not have another State funeral. Twakana mu dzina la Yesu!
if you vote me into Plot 1 …i will find cure for AIDS
I am a clown!
NO. 165, Ba happy unless you tell me that you’ve got eyes but you cant see. If you do benefit from those mentioned efyo chakukalipila, then that is your own problem to solve.
Zambia is for Zambians and not for selfish people who would always want to benefit from Innocent people’s money. To hell with them + you. Imipashi shabantu tashatemwa iyo.
ah but u PF guys even though u like SATA have u seen that guys photo in the Post awe guys! ebengaba ba President balya
#452
tell your friends to be specific when they say Rural, because some of us are in the rural and we voted MMD because we understood what was at stake. We went further to conribute financialy to MMD. we dint stop there we also went to nearby villages to spread the massage for MMD. For you in town, you relied on Propaganda by the Post who are only interested in Govnt soft Loans by Blackmailing the president. We choose who rules Zambia not the post. they convinced you to vote for a Grade 4 drop out with no MPs and you say you are informed.
For the last few weeks, the value of the Kwacha fell by K200 each time Sata opened his mouth. Now that he’s been quiet the last 2 days the Kwacha has regained all its lost value. I hope he doesnt open this mouth again
Shut ya traps all ye egocentric elements. Keep your silly opinions to your constipated brains!
I can see frm the comments tht most of the bloggers do not understand the state of the the ordinary Zambian.Take time to look at the statistics and u’l come to know why pipo wanted change. We have a workforce of 500 000 supporting a population of more than 12million.This 500 000 overly taxed workers supporting more than 12million pipo? come on guys, wat equity is this? pipo where robed of their wishes, rigging o no rigging. If you work, you would get the point
Keep quiet all you PF primitives. Dont you know that the population of rural Zambia contitutes 60% of the total, the urban population is only 40%. Go to Central Statistical Office. He who wins in rural wins the elections.
#488 Essentials
Dont get mixed up those 500 000 you are talking about are those in formal employment and that is 2004 statistics. people like me who work on my own and employ people classfied as being in the informal sector dont rely on your PAYE for my living. and the fact that i dont pay PAYE dosnt mean i dont pay TAX. I actually pay far much more tax than what someone who gets 50M per month pays as PAYE. so dont cheet yourself that you are feeding us in the Rural. We live with strong women and Men crossing boarders daily to bring you the luxery in town. these pipo pay duty and all associated Taxes.
Its not true that all PF supporters are dull/fanatics etc.How do you explain the voting on day 2 of results announcements;Three vehicles broke down, MY FOOT!!. The rural pipo want sugar and cheap fertiliser. Watch them send SOS to us in town even for the same cheap fert they were hoodwinked for. Our issues in town are different from those in town. Dispute this and call me a senseless cadre. A packet of sugar and you get a vote!!Federal politics!!They wake up,go and burn a few trees for charcoal tax free while I am taxed like no man’s biz here. The peace in Zambia will one day backfire, believe me. Ask Kaunda in 1986-1991.Bye for now.
#491 Engines, I cn see tht you lack knowledge about the tax systems of this country.I bet u’v never declared any of those taxes u talkin bout when u smuggle those goods u bring in2 the country.D u pay turnover tax on ur business, o mayb u don even kno wat that is. Most of the tax collected is from the formal sector thru PAYE n taxing the formal employed workers in whatever means. If u need a lecture on this just go to MOFNP n they’l give u the details.90% of u chaps in the rural areas don even kno wat tax is n u come here yappin bout tax?dude, get a life
Hey people. Is it true VJ has been shot. Someone called me but source not reliable. Please OP guys help out with verification
How could kalabo have 13000 voters for a candidate? Kalabo more than solwezi, or kasama central or chilanga. How do we get to clean this mess when the “peaceful zambian” people dont see anything amis. its a shame! just coz my preferred candidate won doesnt mean i should cat a blind spot on to the fact. Our young democracy will not florish with our deplorable ATITUDE.
Point of correction No.10, HH refused to go to KK’s house when he was phoned to convene. Meanwhile King Cobra was already there. Let me tell you now, HH will never rule this country, PERIOD! He is too much of himself.
Mr. Sata, thats why you always remain lonely when campaigns are over. You don’t seem to trust anybody! Even your own agents at polling stations would sign for results that they didn’t agree with. You should have split yourself and monitor all over the land. Just work hard for next elections if you will make it instead of wasting time on baseless allegations. Three years is long time for you to start wasting time on issues you know will not take you anywhere.
CORRECTION on #496 3 years is not a long time
331. hh IS DIRECTLY QUOTED TO HAVE TOLD SAKI THAT AS FAR AS hh WAS CONCERNED SAKI COULD NOT LEAD upnd BECAUSE, “A LOZI CAN NEVER RULE ZAMBIA.”. hh ALSO SAID IN KAOMA THAT THE LOZI’S SHOULD NEVER VOTE FOR A BEMBA BUT SHOULD INSTEAD VOTE FOR THEIR TRIBAL COUSIN (HIMSELF). There is enough evidence that, not only does HH fraternise or pal arround with known tribalists, but he is one himself. No matter how much you protest the majority of Zambians know HH is tribal.
MMD did not win and the are very much aware. MMD leader are like mature prostitutes who go about their business without caring who is looking at them. They went ahead and rigged in broad day light. We know what happened thats why you rushed to swore in RB. There is no democracy in Zambia. What happened in Zambia is no different from what happened in Zimbabwe.
Ba mukukulu.
Its sad even KK and FTJ are supporting the rubish. You may have had differences with Sata but the truth is that he did not lose. He was
the peoples choice its just that as usual MMD rigged the election.
As for HH, you lost but thats no reason for you to side with MMD and
say the election were free and fair. Remember if nothing is done one day you will suffer at the hands of this electrol system.
We have a problem and the problem is big. Bane if this things continue people will be discouraged from voting, because soon people will realise that its not the ballot that can bring change in zambia. Zambia is a peaceful nation dont make people start resorting to violence.
Sata we have finally put an end to your insulting ways. Lusaka has no streams for your boat so go where you can fish on your own!!!!hahahahah loser
SATA WON THE ELECTION!!!!!!!!!!!! ZAMBIAN ARE NOT HAPPY NO ONE IS HAPPY IN ZAMBIA WITH THE ELECTION Result I MY SELF I DON’T HAVE A PRESIDENT( WE ALL DON’T HAVE A PRESIDENT IN ZAMBIA )
I have taken to look at the ECZ website and if anyone read todays post newspaper,Mr Sata mentioned the difference in the total number of registered voters as of 2006 and 2008.Accordingly the 2006 totals were 3,941,229 and 2008 is 3,944,135.Their is a marginal increase of 2,906 registered voters. As you are aware i expected the total number of registered voters to be the same as those of 2006 as there was no voter registration.
I know this can be a mathematical error but it can also imply that the same errors could have been made in the tallying of results.
I leave to the bloggers to think about it and take time to verify this error on the part of ECZ
It is not possible to rigg in Zambia because Poor Finishing (PF) cadres were at every polling station and after voting closed the counting was done there and then and each political cadre sent the results to their chief cadre at constituency level for compilation. So where is the rigging. PF cadres just continue undressing in public showing us your unappetising buttocks which look like the back of an elephant…even if am drunk with Kachasu I cant do that woman!!!
In Hosea 6:4,…the bible says, and i state….Where ther is no Vision the pipo perish…how unfortunate for Zambia that our dear president has no Vision…you cant lead on somebodys Vision…you gotta have your on Vision.
Moreover,if he wanted to continue wer our dearest president Levy
left,Why then did he bring every Jack LPM chased becoz of corruption,pipo..open your eyes…now we are in Unip thats how come thursday is a national mourning…
RB and his group are american Dogs, get lost and you people who are commenting on PF and HH dont you have other things to do come on guys find something to do rather than this rubish you are talking about.
It seems you are happy with this UNIP party we will see how long this will take you.
Stop playing with fire.
504 you are a coward
Most of the people on this site live outside Zambia and are certainly out of touch with what is going Sata has raised some critical points ab and these must be investigated. MMD are killing democracy in Zambia.During the elections they dished out large sums of undisclosed ammounts of money, including the famous distribution of sugar by the current president in Eastern Province. Several people (including some ministers were caught on camera with pre- marked ballot papers). The police and ECZ did nothing.Where is this nation going?? The so called SADC and AU observers say the election was free and fair.Surely this is questionable.President Banda’s election campaign team comprised of plunderers
we dont have a president in Zambnia
