The Southern African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has commended the National Constitutional Conference (NCC) for removing seven of its members from the conference.
SACCORD Administration Manager, Theresa Chewe said the seven that were barred from the NCC deserved such treatment because they did not give an apology or reasonable explanation for their absenteeism.
Ms. Chewe urged the NCC to ensure that every members of the NCC who was absconding without any reasonable explanation was barred.
She said absconding from the NCC without any reasonable explanation meant breaching the NCC laws.
She said the barring of the seven people from the NCC would be a lesson from the would be offenders.
Ms. Chewe said delegates should understand that they were at NCC to debate national issues, which were important for the development of the country.
ZANIS
we need names, who are these people??
They are criminals who should be prosecuted. How do you just go to collect money without attending the deliberations ? Shameless politicians!
#2 They were receiving allowances even without attending sessions. Plunder is now even in our kitchens
Good job NCC. They must also pay back the money they got from the NCC on days they where absent.
They are all PF members who wanted to eat with both hands secretly drawing allowances while playing goodie goodie with Sata. One of them happens to be Given Lubinda and Kasama Central MP Rev.Chishimba.The other one is an MCC in PF. All signed up behind Sata’s back.
Disbanding is the only solution.Register working on these people chewing national resources in the name of NCC.The wolfs and jackals do settle matters among themselves.Problems in plundering national resources.
i am upset that i was thrown out of this conference mwe. am trying to apply to rejoin, the money was so nice!
Please give us names and also they must pay back the all money for the sessions they missed
One step taken but you guys need to do more. A few questions may still need to be answered; Will these be made to pay back the funds they got? It should not just end at deregistration, let them give the money as well. By the way, I knew that some clergy man will have to be involved-why are the clergy are so shamelessly dishonest?
