  1. why is it that when RB is traveling with Thandiwe Dora remains and when travelling with Dora Thandiwe remains?

The picture of Maureen with Thandiwe looks Good

  2. Good to see respectable women like Nkandu Luo. But she should attend other ceremonies in other province like Lwiindi, Kuomboka and Ncwala. I have never known her at such other functions than umutomboko. Correct me fellow bloggers.

  3. Thandiwe looks nice in pic3 though she doesn’t seem impressed by whatever Nkandu Luo is saying.Pis 12 Maureen looks …..disgusted but definately outshines Thandiwe.I must say it truly looks like RB was with his daughter.

  4. Does it mean Moses Katumbi is untouchable. How did he survive the Zamtrop Saga? Thando looks good but Maureen looks even better. Common Thandi try even harder you are still young.

  5. aha LT, thanks for bringing my sweetheart Thandiwe. I see Bana Fimbusa are doing a good job. Wow she is smilling now and looked prety in Pic 1. I will spare you on those tumukule though other than that ……..GO GIRL!

  6. what kind of traditional dance is that one on picture#9?It looks a bit provacative and outlandish to me.Anyway, all in all nice pictures, good job LT !!

  7. Is it the flash lighting or is the traditional dancer have different skin tones due to byuxing. Good to see IFA trucks are still reliable and running unlike all these new cars and trucks that need expensive maintenance.

  8. Thandiwe that mukule looks like it was done at Soweto Market at night. She still needs to improve on her hair style. At least the dressing, smile and confidence look is improving

  9. #6 claire >> That is what is bubbling in my mind. How old is Thandiye Banda? She looks young, Is she his first wife? I think Luo and Maureen are in Banda’s suitable age group.

  10. imwe #6 and15 TB alikwatafye bode iyinono, but I am sure she is RB’s size. I am sure RB seconds me here

  11. Nice pics..though….whats with the hairband on TB and the same neck lace & earings on two outfits?…purely..class can not be bought!

  12. Thandiwe is now following everywhere RB goes…..Look at RB sitting next to his relative Robert Mugabe at the “whatever” summit.

  13. I am cool #20 Daisy.Thanks. Feeling much better although a bit shaky. I thought kayaka for a moment. ha ha ha. And howz you?

  14. Pic #18, Come on girl, tackle her hard – chigago from Chawama. Don’t worry, she is just a GMO type from Stokholm.

  15. Ba Prof. Luo, pic#3, thats embarrasing are you looking for a job in foreign service or what?

  16. Pic 12, Its good to see Tb and Maureen together. TB should take advantage of maureen coz she can learn alot from her.

  17. But is this the real Moses katumbi ou ba LT is mistaken(or iam i mistaken),the Moses Katumbi i remeber is not colured!

  18. #19 Ms. Daisy

I am a Luanshya girl too and I dont think wearing the same earring with two outfits has anything to do with class! Do you personally wear different earring with every outfit?

  19. Pic #4, Moses, how about ilya nkani of tarring the Pedicle Road. Don’t you think we should share the cost. We just built the Mwanawasa bridge at Chembe by ourselves even though half of it is in your country. You should now help with the road to Mokambo. Many Zairois mistakenly think you are Zambian because of your long stay in Kitwe and your involvement in Ntamba ba Shila. If you remember your namesake Moise Tshombe wanted Katanga to be part of Zambia, but Kaunda and Kapwepwe refused. You can restart the negotiations within SADC.

  20. #21 Nachale &#29 Ka’doyo what is so charming about this Katumbi? Probably i do need an optician.I’m sorry to say that i can’t see anything sensational about Katumbi on the pix above.Or maybe (Nachale )you just wanted to fulfil what they say. They say, “if you have got nothing to live for, then find something to die for”.

  21. #33..Woman of Substance…….Nice one…No i dont coz am not the first Lady of Zed… If i was, i would surely represent you guys and never put blue hairbands like am going to school with another hair band in front… and use same beauty accessories on my outfits… Wow some more LYA women…..we go girl!!!!…..where exactly? When were you last home?

  22. #31, I can confirm that this is Moses Katumbi wholived in Kitwe and is now Governor of Katanga. He is a close friend of Fred and VJ. He is of course “coloured” what ever you mean by coloured.

  23. #38 Ms Daisy

I was home a few months ago. I really had a wonderful time though it was tough to see all that is going on, unemployment, poverty. Remember Hide out bar in Luanshya? Young people were there boozing as early as 10.00am.

but Zambians are such spirited people full of strength and compassion and laughter.

  24. Lusaka Times, how did you miss taking a photo of the MMD woman dancer at Rupiah’s departure? You can borrow it from the Post.

  25. daisy, hola, woman of subs, hola, dudes & dudettes, i greet u all. havin a wild day, graft is wack, bosses crapin on me and i open this thread and who do i see first? some dude lookin like he smells the c.r.a.p. my bosses are dispensin. By the way, he declared that FTJ was a ‘damned good president’ now wat does that tell you about any ‘Court outcome, in August, hmm?

  26. (Miss Daisy & Woman Substance) i’m very glad to know that you hail from Luanshya, thats where i also come from.It is cool to know there are people on the blog who come from the same town as me.Cheers ladies!!

  27. Ba First Lady looks beautiful. She has started puting on her make up, Have you seen Moses Katumbi. Cool aka mu guys! Katwishi ifyo bakalanda ba RB when he sees pic. #9

  28. #43 dude love – I hope your boss doesn’t get to read that, lol!
#44 Shimu – Luanshya Rocks! Lots of great people from Luanshya.

  29. Hey, this is nice/great news.. So many bloggers x- luanshya..
Hi Miss Daisy today. Ba Red lipstick kwena lesa alipanga ..compliments of the day.. muli ba ‘akasabula sana’ good on you. Ba Thandie looks much better in all the pics here… coming up!!!!

  30. #48 MAMA G, Unfortunately RB ditched them becouse they were becoming more famous than him. Good night to all bloggerZ

  31. Koma ba Thandi is looking good especially mu # 3. Inga abo ba so called traditional dancer – which province has shorts as traditional wear? She did not look good at all!

  32. #47 woman of subs, dont worry about it, once caught him using the mouse like a remote and shouting that the channel wasnt changin.

  33. I am sorry, but Nyau, nyau in pic#9 could be the stuff of nightmares. Hope there were no young children at the event.

  34. Plunderers!!!!All those guys in pic#13 should be locked up right in that room where they are then africa will be a better place!Look at that guy standing behind Mswati with his shirt buttons undone!

  35. so all those presidos in pic#13 are gathered right inside Munyonyo on the shores of lake victoria?I didn’t know that Munyonyo was that big!

  36. Mamamamama!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bushe iyi nkeche #29, 31, 56, 57 and 59 yali kwisa????????? Addding colour to blogging Bid time! I’ve never seen such a beautiful Zambian creme! Pleased drop me a line Red Lipstick. Please weekend njikata. Check my flag and see how close I am to you. If you dropped a line, I will give you my email. please Red Lipstick, waninvetsetsa, (you heard myself?) lol….

  37. #65 Don’t you have enough nkeche mu hotel kalifonia?Tekanya man! bola panshi, naikosa league pali ka material aka. That thing of flags won’t cut cuz even unza monks blogging from the cockpit near kalundu or kalingalinga tarven there have usa flags.Actually Red Lipstick is a nun living in some convent somewhere there near vatican so you don’t stand a chance!!

  38. Nshamonapo ici nyau ca so-ci pictutre 9.Looks like rhumba dancing queen. Yea,the 1st lady is looking good

  39. Dob Naikosa bola mune kanshi. But you seem to have more data pali iyi nkeche. Can you spit some more. Anyway nalalolela mbone response.

  40. pic #8 Shoprite can remain closed forever, for all I care. The prices are so exagerrated, I was shocked to find Salami going at K200,000 when we get it for a few cents here. Nutella was costing 5 times more than it does here…people please!!!

pic #9 ba sista bali high kwena…kuti bakucita abuse. Thank you, but no thank you. lol

Pic #12 Ba Dr Maureen looks mighty young on this picture, I almost mistook her for Miss Zambia.

  41. #70 Hotel kalifonia, yes man I have some data about this ka nkeche but i guess u know the value of that data- u can’t afford man even if bill gates is your father! This ka Red Lipstick was unvailed last friday and she made lots of guys here cancel their friday night dates.

  42. # 34, you are right, there is nothing wrong with wearing the same neckless and earring with different outfits provided they match…i think miss Daisy comment should be ignored…what is class got to do with that? i think TB is improving.

  43. Pic #12 – Is Maureen looking for her next husband? Watch out, didn’t she get P. Mwanawasa from another woman!

  44. Hey Dob #74, I bet I can stake some fortunes on her. I have quite some good good quid in reserves for political campaigns in 2011 and certainly could cut out some fortune for the deal with this ka nkeche ka! drop me a line again man!

  45. It is good that Thandiwe is able to use her accessories for more than one outfit – that is what you call prudence. If she was changing her bling too much then people would be complaining about her extravagance. Just shows you cant please all of the people all of the time.

  46. I really appreciate the pictures of the umutomboko, but I wish there were more photos of the ceremony itself so to as to get a good ideas of what really happens and what it is all about.

  47. #78 Man,honestly, no man would exchange data about this ka kenche for any fortunes!I know you’re really liquid but look here my man,me I’m very broke here cuz I’m just a gardener by profession so can u bail me out?I just need bit of cash to buy her a rose and a chocolate bar, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  48. Thandies outfit in Pic #1 is fantastic. I will make a replica . Its really lovely. Ba Maureen batampa ukulasuba kajiri nomba or is it jaribu??

  49. LT … where is that picture of a woman showing NTWENU to RB at Mansa airport? Please bring it here we want to see it.

  50. Ako.,Thandiwe Banda from proper village chicken to high profile Jet-Set lady.ukuchila natu gelo twa mulusaka ukwamba ukulingana nabena oprah winfrey.but ichalo ichi cha ma lucky zoona.

  51. Mwebantu, benifye bwino. Lekeni umunenu alyilepo, lishuko lyakwe. Life is too short ka… just say .. it was meant to be…..

  52. Nice gopala, Dr Boniface Kawimbe.

Mrs M. Mwanawasa, nice catching a lift to squander some GRZ money amidst the Global Economic Crisis by joining the Mr President’s entourage when Zambians need every ngwee to be spent wisely. However, it is not surprising that Mr President has to please the one who appointed him Vice President of Zambia which become a stepping stone to be President of Zambia.

As for the rest, nice photos. An IFA lorry still going strong.

    Have a blessed day all.
    _
    2 Corinthians 11 + KJV Bible
11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

  53. Good to see ‘Mwata’ doing his thing in style, reminds me of my father who is so proud of his roots, that he would teach us some of the songs and the ‘Ichinkwasa’ dance that are performed at the Umutomboko when we were young

  54. Professor Nkandu Luo, what are you doing on you knees before that young lady? Before you are 60, surely, can’t you aspire to be President yourself?

You make me feel hopeless for the future of mother Zed. You are expected to provide leadership in your own right and not begging for it through Thandie who knows nothing. Shame!!!

  55. #89 Mbo my neighbhour, don’t you think respect to the leadership is at least necessary at some level, regardless of what ugly characters we make our leaders in our blogging or mainstream media? and that prof Luo is a humble woman naturally and hardly shows off?

  56. But ba Mwata, he is Lunda yet he can’t speak a word in his own lunguage. Alas! he is busy promoting Bemba. I will be the next Mwata and change all that rubish.

  57. pic. #9, wat zambian traditional dance is that??? i think its just a source of income in the name of traditional dancing. and pic. #7 wat was ba maureen doing in uganada and who paid for her?? i hope its not the poor zambians’ tax money.

  58. Ama IFA yalipeyepo utubantu pa zambia, but the oldest truck that is still strolling on the zambian roads today is the JIEFANG made in CHINA.it first came in the 70s during the construction of TAZARA.nanomba a few are still on the wheels.umu choncholi mu bad.

  59. Pic #7 Why are our chiefs falling sick every other week? These days a week does not pass without news of a chief being evacuated to UTH or morning side clinic. What is the problem??

  60. #93, you hit the nail on the head. The Lunda Mwanta can’t speak a Lunda word but can speak Bemba very very very well well well. What kind of Mwata? is he? Go and become Mwata . Teach him . Teach his ndunas to speak Lunda. He can then speak Lunda and Bemba to his people. We can then speak Lunda and Bemba in Luapula.

  61. Pix 1, lets give it up for Thandie, she is trying but then she messes up in Uganda knowing that Maureen would be there, she shld have done more than an office chitenge … By maureen’s expression, Thandie needs to know that Maureen is not her friend!

  62. LT get your facts right. pic #9 wasn’t a traditional dancer but MCs dancing queen at the GDA PPP Launch at Lusaka Museum. thats misinfoming
