  1. 45 years after Independence and our people are still suffering. God hear us and deliver our beloved country Zambia from greed so that we can stand up to develop and surely then can we only be considered to be independent…

  2. Sorry about the old woman near FTC.Otherwise the picture brought good memeries of my childhood in that beautiful part of the valley.thanks LT

  3. Interesting pictures for those of us that have never been to Sinzongwe. Good to see that people still remember the days of slavery – only he who knows where he is coming from knows where he is going.

  4. Thanks LT for pictures, i hope the govt visits your website and see how people are suffering.
I would love to know if the camera person who took that old woman’s photo in pic # 8 gave her atleast something or just left her like that.

  5. pic 7-I can see the guy was very anxious to eat his nshima as quickly as possible, i can even see the plates and the water to drink after the ka meal already waiting on the side lines, even before the match was lighted.Hope taipwile ububishi due to lack of patience. The last picture is very depressing it really shows where the poverty extents have reached in our country and my hope and prayer is for things to change to a better level in my beloved country.

  6. gotdamn this is the real zed nipa southern province….. nyele dance with no ladies…. picture number 1WTF are they wearing…. ZAMBIA SHALL BE SAVED

  7. #12 Prophetess, I was just thinking the same…aaaw poor girl.
Pic# 2 and 3- major talent ka? Nice! LT, I AM STILL WAITING TO SEE THE “NICER” PICTURES OF MY PEOPLE AND PLACES, PLEASE. SOME OF US ARE ALREADY DEPRESSED AND STRESSED KUNO KUMA DIASPORA, AND THE LAST THINGS WE NEED TO SEE ARE SOME OF THESE PATHETIC IMAGES. WHILE I APPLAUD YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS, I ALSO ENCOURAGE YOU TO BROADEN YOUR SCOPE OF COVERAGE. AM SURE YOU UNDERSTAND MY POINT, OR DO YOU?

  8. LT maybe next time also show us pictures of what tourists enjoy pa zed e.g pictures of them having fun at the victoria falls etc. maybe that might also encourage foriegners on your site to visit zed. Otherwise good job!

  9. Very good pictures. All of them.

I know some people want to see pics of better places but it is a lso good for people in these deprived areas be seen by the whole world. They have a right. And it humbles those of us in privilaged areas to count our blessings. A lot of us actuall root from such impoverished backgrounds.

  10. PIC NUMBER 8 LT; DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXPOSE AND VIOLATE THE RIGHT OF A PERSON TO THEIR MEDICAL PRIVACY???????????????????????????????????????

  11. pic #3 that kid landed head first. ( KALI ITWA!!!)
Analysis: his legs were still folded at the mid-way point, thus the locus of his path of trajectory is not tangential to the centrifugal force his lower torso is applying.

  12. Can any body help the old lady? I don’t think it can cost so much to help her. Or just take her to the hospital?

  13. #4, you are the one full of shyt in your eyes as it is the only thing you can see. Change your mind set my dear.

  14. Pic#1 No wonder we keep hearing of crocodile attacks by the river side. Those people seem to be very comfortable being too close to the river banks while hundreds of hungry reptiles are lurking under the water…

pic#5 I just noticed the girl’s missing arm after the comments above – sad.

#25 Mwana ka Mwanta, remember the parable of the good Samaritan? That “any body” could be you…

  15. #13 WE CAN and #26 ONE TRUE ONE, You mean u cant see ?You can see that pipo are suffering in these pix…Looking at yo flags i guess u are both in zed and are used to it..But all i see in these pix is poverty..Thats the shyt am talking about….YOU CLEAN YO EYES.

  16. The last picture is so disturbing. Where are the so called Christians ,families ,NGOs and department for Social Welfare . The old woman does not deserve such sufferings just because she has no close relatives or responsible family members . There is need to develop and strengthen social safety nets that will effectively carter for the vulnerable and restore the dignity and values of humans . It is also important to stress that the families from this district are not very united to let the old woman become so miserable and no one has made considerable efforts to come to her rescue .
