ZNBC Wednesday Evening News(Video)

Share

Below are the  video clips for the ZNBC news aired on Wednesday evening. We want to take the opportunity to address a two things;

First, the ZNBC news clips are still in trial mode and we shall be intermittent in bringing them because there are a numbers of issues we need to work around before we can consistently deliver this service. Bandwidth is still expensive and we are experimenting with various compression algorithms to try and reduce the size of videos while keep the quality reasonable. There is also ZESCO’s incompetence, oh sorry load shedding to contend with.

Secondly. we still need your nominations for 2009 LT Awards. Nominations close next week Wednesday so that we can move to voting. We have put the submission form below these videos. The Form is using AJAX technology. This simply means that you can submit the form while you are watching the videos and the whole page will not reload, disrupt your video watching or briefly go blank when you hit the submit button.

  1. Most disappointing person of the year is Kalusha Bwalya
Woman of the year is Chansa Kabwela
There is NO man of the year in Zambia

  2. #2 Phophetess don’t be rude to women, what if it were your sister or even daughter for that matter. Anyway those nominations are somebody else’s and we are not voting now. Just send in your nominations and not just ukubwata bwata. Nice to watch ZNBC news although the content is propaganda and I wonder why they call it public media or do they? I think it is funded from our taxes not so?

  3. Thanks Lusaka times team! You guys are doing mother Zambia Great pride. The news report again slaps the legion of unpatriotic losers:Sata, HH and Mmembe who with their forked tongues of hatred and lies have been smearing all this progress and the country dark spells. No rationalist would doubt that the country has weathered a historic storm and with strong fundamentals, she is heading to prosperity.God has called mother Zambia by her name and no voice of hell shall prevail because she belongs to the Lord Jehovah God.Hatred and lies are not of her establishment but hospitality and harmony. The million refuges she has hosted have triggered divine blessings for her heritage. Its leaders shall live to see enemies fall 10,000 to their right hand side. Blessed Zambia the favor is yours.

  4. God is tenaciously shaming the enemies of Zambia who have been vowing to make her ungovernable because they are consecutively rejected by citizenry that they are immature and failed gongs too unpatriotic to risk with state power.

  5. In vain they have kept conspiring and shredding their money needlessly in sponsorship of tribal hegemony, xenophobia and despondence but the masses have kept snubbing them as immature and too bitter losers without national interest heart.Shame on them and blessed be Zambia and her patriotic citizenry.

  6. #4,5,6 – Veteran. Faith is good thing but without works it fails. We all need to work hard as Zambians if our country is to prosper. In working hard, I mean fight corruption, care for our communities and stamp alcoholism, AIDS etc.

  7. Iwe ka Vetinary=no 6== How much are you going to pay our poor families for shooting UNZA student and CBU students. You are fooling Zed pipo talking about tribal hegemony by awarding your brother L. Chongwe. Go ahead

  8. Boring and embarassing news. As communist as the concrete and rectangular skyscrapers in Lusaka. Fourth world rubbish indeed!

  9. Thanks for the effort, but what about, maybe MUVI TV news? It is more close to the people’s reality than ZNBC’s government this, government that…

  10. 81.6% of Zambia Sugar belongs to South Africa? Did I hear that right? What’s all the praises about then? 100 jobs for Zambians and the rest of the money taken out?

  11. It’s nice to know people like Inutu,Lackson Nthani etc are still wth ZNBC & still doing what they love doing,it’s sad they are let down by incompetent Managers at the top.

  12. 10 years since I saw Inutu. God the girl has changed! Sorry to say but she is no longer the gorgeous girl. Has she got children?

  13. For all those who do not know- Baby C, Pinkly, Lady Chiza, Rashid Jones, Ponyax, Maestro, Nine Shani uko, Jamaco, Matworld and Ba Moze, Lusaka, Rita was posted by one and the same lame person.

  14. OK the news may not be top-notch if you’ve seen Tagesschau, The 9 O’clock News or CNN but we still delight in it because it brings that nostalgic Zambian feeling. So #10 Mbulawa, lets just appreciate and congratulate.

#17 The Germans say “wer interessieren will muss provozieren” meaning “he who wants attention must provoke…” so you’re one sad & lonely individual that’s always seeking attention by provoking bloggers on this site. Why don’t you find something better to do than coming up with ridiculous allegations which even yourself dont believe?

  15. I’m persuaded beyond any doubt that the current spirit of economic determination the tenacious RB administration has ushered in the the country has placed Zambia on her road to prosperity. Zambia will experience her greatest blessing of prosperity for the years of giving, hospitality to millions of refuges, love and covenant constitution. Zambia is the Ark of higher blessings that will be lived by the obedient in obedience and love.

Citizens who are ingenious,goal-getting, sagacious and trendsetting without time for futureless insulting kaponyalism will seize many opportunities, become wealth creators and prosper into emerging Zambian plutocrats.

  16. lsktimes keep it up , you are really doing a good job on such a small budget in comparison with other competing outlets like the post who have censorship issues. It’s amazing to hear zambian enunciation of words after all these years , which strangely enough you never notice when in Zambia.

  17. good job….its nice to have a chance to watch znbc news tho it reminds me of the znbc reporting habbits. reporting only about the govt……..

  18. Good job Lt
In my view NINE CHALE has been the most consistent blogger on LT this year and he therefore deserves an award. Besides, he is not antagonistic, his comments exemplify true the definition of blogging.

Uuuuh! Where is brother Maestro the 2008 LT AWARD winner? I really miss him!

  19. Its true Nine Chale has been consitent and not annoyng guy, Veteran is another gud guy i enjoy reading his comments and am also consitent at reading LT without puting any comments coz somtimes everything is said by other bloggers. U do not need to write all the time wen yo friends hav aird out constructiv statement. As soccer fun no:1 my pic was no:1 on zambianfootball.net-photo gallery wer ever the got it from. Thumbs up LT and Zambianfootball it has bin a wondeful year

  20. I am disappointed with your nomination for Man of The Year. In contrast with your list for Woman of the year, you have only nominated politicians for the award and can not imagine of any worthy cause they have done in the year to warrant the award. Think widely and nominate people from all walks of life….

  21. ZNBC is a # 1 boooooooring channel in Africa!!! Its all about repeated discussions , old same documentaries and the main news which focuses mainly on RB and his disciples!

  22. I run away from ZNBC at 19Hrs just after the Headlines. How then can I be encouraged or enticed to see clips of ZNBC online. Their news suck. Gimme a break!!!

  23. Spot on # 13 Kanitundila. If you can watch Sky news and the News on South African E Channel, you would stop watching ZNBC News. At least Muvi is trying. ZNBC is propaganda channel for plot 1. It is unfortunate TV licence fees is mandatory vide Zesco deductions otherwise I couldn’t have been paying. Paying for what!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. LT i think you guys are not serious or is it Aprils Fools day – the men of the year nominations are………………………………………………..

  25. The upcoming Presidents why do they such foolish politics during compeny only after election everything will come on standby eg Sata thats why is being liked by smokers

  26. We are a group of volunteers and starting a brand new scheme in our community. Your site provided us with useful information to paintings on. You’ve performed an impressive process and our whole neighborhood might be thankful to you.
