  1. Pic#1 – Tired impi – lol

Pic# 7- I love tradition but lets keep those boobs private!

Pic#2 – I was enjoying the picture until I saw little spoiler in this picture

Lomba a mfumu Mpezeni eze kuni?

  2. only young ones should expose their boobs, thats is how the Nguni culture is practised in Zululand and swaziland

  3. Criminals are too free in this country, why?
pic# 8 what has happened to breast implants, tell the old women to go silicon implants?

  4. looks like a dying traditional ceremony…It is embarrasing for those women to show wilted breasts.Mpezeni, recruit new dancers who will show youth and vibrancy of your tradition, if these pictures is what was obtaining then, JZuma had reason to decline to attend..

  5. No wonder RB decided to go to China instead of N’cwala. He was well informed that young half naked girls will not grace the occasion but old half naked Ngonis will be on the menu. Check PICTURE #7. BUT, I can bet he will attend the reed dance in Swaziland.

  6. Good to see FJT and Angela Cifire still looking good at the Ncwala. Why is LT Cameraman interested in snapping FJT ? These people LOVE our Engineer… Someone could wonder where RB was ? He has found a relaxation time since Chiluba silenced Michael Sata for to his advantage. This should serve as a lesson to those who are trying to undermine the former President; he might do the same to them. ( mwadileni uko ku Lusaka !!! )

  7. I think even the Ngoni’s in Zambia are not supposed to be showing breasts (i.e older women) it always the young one. I wonder the motivation of these women. even if you asked many women in Zambia (older women) most of them would refuse to display their breasts in public, as it would reduced ones dignity, the respect would go.i think the Mpenzeni has to attend to this problem.

  8. What’s your problem you people Ngoni Women have been showing their Boobs from way back its part of their history and it’spart of there culture and tradition.

  9. Ka Chiluba nakalya umupola zo ona,no wonder Wynter Kabimba was saying had Levy been still around Ka Chiluba would have been in Chimbokaila now. lol

  10. Pic #1 The tired big bellied dancer resembles Rupiah doing the belly dance in Swaziland.
#2, Suddenly Chiluba has become very active, no more seeking heart treatment in SA, enjoy it while it lasts.

  11. Westernised bloggers here have shifted their fantasies from below the bellly button to above. Here comes the de-culturalisation of a generation. I bet none of the female bloggers here even gave the right nousrisment to their offspring just to be in ‘fashion’. Is it any wonder that the incidence of breast ancer is on the rise in Zambia? Oh! sorry, I am being too serious for a light hearted day!!!!!!!!!!

  12. I support traditional ceremonies but please lets move with time, nobody wants to see those tired boobs~X(

  13. I love traditional ceremonies and culture should be encouraged and preserved….but what is so sad is how Zambians can’t read through events…The MMD is strategically bribing traditional rulers by according them such prominence while in the process strengthening Banda and Chiluba..and poor old KK is being used along. It would be good if the motivation was pure but nah..you watch how the MMD will cement their hold on power..Politics…it’s an art and a science….Interesting when observing this from afar…

  14. Picture number-Doesn’t he look like the guy from Stavros Flatly on Britains Got Talent? He must be the Zambian act of Stavros Flatly, LOL:d

  16. I really understand the frustrations of the mojos no body want to see sugg breads may kamoye or nachisungu or firm breasts will do:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-h:-@:-@:-@:-@:-@:-@:-@:d/:d/:d/:d/:d/:d/%-(%-(%-(%-(%-(%-(%-(

  18. Pic # 4 that man is still around, i remember way back in Chipata that man used to walk with an underware( bamba) in town during Ncwala ceremony fundraising month, but ba Ngoni nabeve[-x[-x[-x

  19. #22, spot on. I agree with you 100%. That is what it is all about……If only more politicians in this country were thinking about the next generation instead of the next election, it might be better for Zambia. Very sad but true indeed :-w

  20. Picture # 7 is not good bane. Traditional leaders must give respect women period. Exposing that stupidty to public is uncalled for in a civilized society.Chiefs should know better. Banamayo ukukanafwika ififuba bwamba. I won’t attend the ceremony again.

  21. Iwe chi Musonda Mwansa @ #40 nifinshi ulebosa? Ati ‘uncalled for in this civilized society’? Get over your colonial/slave mentality my friend. 😮 Why should we forget about who we are and were we are coming from? It’s our heritage that should be treasured. [-x

  22. Very interesting indeed .Ours will be on any time late this month or early next month. This is the Ku-o-mboka of the LOZI poeple with their KAONGOLO KA NYAMBE NGOCHANA ,THE LITUNGA OF BAROTSELAND.

  23. pic # 4 there goes a s-e-x-x-y man ladies. i wish i was a lady and pick up the kankote na bamba only. nizee maningi, viva traditional viva… :d/

  24. As a Ngoni, i must admit one thing after seeing Pic 1: Thats why we were defeated by Shaka. How can you fight a war in that state? Let alone run for your life? Kansi every fifty meters nikupumulalko!! Yangu:o

  25. get used to the boobs. they were here before you became eurocentric.all of a sudden you are so westernised and you want everyone to move with you. only problem is the maidens are too old and the warriors are too fat. we need to see more energy that is the whole idea here. to show off the princes and princences of the clan, to exhibit wealth in animals and harvest, to show the king’s fearlessness or sacredness as in drinking row blood,to entertain each other as in all the dances. those are the strengths of the kingdom. now in your little brain washed british minds you want to do away with it all. the british and other westerners have their own stupid rituals. even when opening parliament it is so boring and that to you is the way to go because you had an education. that is miss education.

  26. Why has the old man KK reduced himself to be Rupiah’s chola boy,it’s like he’s an assistant president or something.Like one Bbaala,a University of zambia,UNZA lecturer said,we spending too much time campaigning instead of developing the country. At every opportunity,RB has to use either Chiluba or KK to politic.Olo nibu former president sure, can’t people retire, rest and be with their old lovely wives.Eish man, those old wilted boobs, aikona man!!..in Zed,we need an aggresive dude like Jerry Rawlings,we wasting too too much time.A hungry stomach knows nothing about economics, inflation, engineering,we too theoretical.Lets get food on the table then talk to the hungry about our academic theories.

  27. Good Morning

These are good pictures bane. No need to complain about the cultural dressing. These ceremonies are the most accurate tool we possess which remind us of our real identity. Only those who pretend to be what they’re not (wanna-bees) will be offended by them.

May we continue celebrating and upholding our heritage, Zambia! **==

  28. Bututulism, backwardness, iliteracism, yanumism, why when we ve improved and become more civilised should we waste time and money on such bachwardness all in the name of remembering our roots. These are acts of bufontism. We wont develop by bringing bututulism.
And the chief licking BLOOD,… cannibalism and demonic. straight from the pit of hell. People are we still under veil of ignorance? i thought we ve been enlightened. am very angry. People half naked doesnt bother me much, coz yesterday i saw 5000 whites pose naked for a photo in australia. but still BUTUTULISM panse

  29. Imwe am a bit confused is Chitimukulu not a Bemba or some other tribe’s chief??? if so then how come we dont have the Ngoni chief in any of these pictures???:-?

  30. Mmmmh ati kunenepa in Pic 1:(:(:( sikudya bwino uku, ni matenda aya ka!!:)>-:-j:-j:-b
    Pic #2 just%-(%-(%-(%-(|-)|-)
the rest of pics are fine…=d>=d>**==**==

  31. this ka ncwala tradition is soo emberassing and what even more emberassing is the nukedness of older woman i feel like vomiting seeing tire breast

i think its high time the goverment step’s in and ban n’cwala its saves no purpose

These ngoni’s where defeated almost by every tribe in Bembalands these guy’s got raped

they should even stop connecting the Zulu’s from southafrica

  32. 😮 Its good to see people together happy like that, I would wish all the traditional leaders would stay away from politics and concentrate on building and reserving the cultures and uniting their subjects in the chiefdoms.

  33. :((:((:((:((:((:((8-|8-|8-| i wont coment, but i want pipo to if we are as free as pic# 2. caalo tacili bwino.

  34. As Africans, we have a problem. Women dancing with their boobs exposed is our culture, be it yon or old. Now just because a white man came and said we can,t do this, everybody thinks its bad. Traditional ceremonies defin who we are. If you dont apprecate it, dont attend.
