He has further observes that the president seems to have lost touch with the common Zambian because of the people surrounding him.

  1. Well said Bishop but your wise counsel will not be heeded as the Vuvuzelas will perceive you as RB ‘s enemy.

  2. This man has a big mouth. Use it to preach thw word of God ba reverend bapa culu. Just wanting to hear his own voice. Go and advise the president in private if there’s any wisdom in your words. Always wanting to be in papers. Fool.ishness mwe.

  3. Sound and timely advise to RB. He has wrong advisors like Ronnie Shikapwashya,Dora silly-ya,George Kunda(failed constitution Bill),William Banda..the list is endless.RB listen to the voice of reason you are bein mislead indeed.

  4. Mr. Tekere Banda. agree with you.The best course will be for President to use his inner circle,  relatives and friends to go out and find the truth, what is distracting voters, what is annoying the people who are sitting on the fence, what can be done to bring them back to the fold, positive reporting about achievements of MMD vs waste of resources and time on finding negatives about Sata, HH or whatever with negativity spillover to MMD and especially to His Excellency. As government in power, MMD shall bring hope to people, talk about what programmes are in pipeline, what was inherited and what is done to strengthen….talk about all positives and leave the opposition to attack and counterattack each other. More HH or Sata will talk bad and foul about MMD more they will make mistakes

  5. Another WOLF in the sheep’s skin talking not knowing where the wind is blowing from. Thinking which candidate is likely to win elections and may be would appoint him minister. Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame with such clergy!

  6. You people don’t understand RB – he is just ignoring good advice so that he loses the elections and goes to the farm. He is tired and wants to rest but his jobless supporters want him to continue. So in order to “fix” them, RB wants a way out …

  7. Banda has himself to blame. He was given the job on a silver plate and thought he didn’t need to do anything to continue ruling!!

  8. RB himself ia a wrong president. Not sure if a wrong president can have right advisors. He’s gone and very fast this year

  9. For once I agree with the Bishop. The President has become insular.  He has not held a press conference for a very long time. He continues to speak to the country without listening to it. He is definitely surrounded by greedy and selfish individuals who want to make as much as they can while it lasts.

  10. The president is most insular to the views of the general citizenry. Most likely his morning brief consists of what is in the TOZ, Daily Mail and ZNBC. Further his loudest preached projects are in shambles and you do not have to go too far to see that the contractors are buying time for him and his cabinet to vacate office. # 6 you have posted the same comment on all the articles on this blog! Get lost!

  11. I just don’t understand why someone should allowed him/herself to be praised everyday in the public media. When will he know when he wrongs if someone has deliberately convinced himself to listen to nice things only… Lets be open to criticism people. Many sole owned companies have gone down because there workers think, they should only tell them good things and hide the wrongs..

  12. Rb in comparison with ba Sata is the best to develop Zambia under the circumstance as the later is ill and won’t last. You people in Lusaka you think you decide for Zambia. It is a mistake because Zambia is bigger than Lusaka. Bishop stay your opinion to yourself because RB wins 2011

  13. #16 Towela ala watobela apo, and thats the difference between great and ordinary leaders. A leader who is afraid of being critisized will not know when he’s heading for the ditch. Mandela picked F W Deklek, his former enemy, to be his Deputy. Obama appointed Hillary, his fiercest rival as his Secretary of State and Bidden, a former rival as his running mate. The best loyalty a leader can get is honest answers, however bad or good and it seems RB has no stomach for such. He’s just plain ordinary or below par.

  14. Rupiah is not being misled; he is in fact the one who has been misleading everybody else. However timely warning from Bishop Mambo

  15. This is a paradox. RB won the vote by a narrow margin three years ago when he was not known and Sata had already attempted 2 elections. At the time, inflation was in double digits, mines were closing and copper prices which had gone up the year before had started falling. He was decampaigned left, right and centre by The Post and yet he won. What has now gone wrong since then that he should lose?

    • THE SAINT:

Don’t you wonder why RB won by such a small margin despite the popularity of the MMD at that time due to LPM’s Presidency? And mind you, RB at the time was not an unknown individual. He was the Vice president, yet he only beat Sata by 35000 votes! We shouldn’t also discount the “sympathy vote” that benefited RB as a result of Mwanawasa’s death. How much a factor this was can always be debated, but it definitely played a role. Do you also remember the election mantra that RB/MMD used? “I/we will carry on LPM’s legacy!”, right? But did he?.

This time around RB will be judged on his record alone. And his record is long enough to sink or keep him afloat. Unfortunately, all seasoned campaigners that helped him in 2008 seems to have deserted him or hounded out of MMD!!

  16. @ the saint, you are correct!!! this time is mcs but only for 5 years as long as he is alive ,twalivota kale

  17. The so-called is known for his pride and biased views against the MMD. The best is to advise Bishop Mambo to take a refresher course in theology and concentrate in preaching sense from the Bible. He is a very suspect & bad political adviser. Leave RB alone and concentrate to dine with Masebo.
