KAPA187: Welcome to the interview , can you describe yourself in 3 words.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:fun loyal & caring.

KAPA187: When did you first start rapping ,and what made u get serious about it?

PRINCESS MWAMBA:  i started rapping  December 2010  i got serious because the producer that discovered me and inspired me got killed the same night i was supposed to meet up with him.

.

KAPA187: Wow that must have been a sad moment , but you have managed to carry on .Where do you get your inspiration for your music?

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:  My inspiration comes from knowing that i can express myself and change people lives.

.

KAPA187: Hip hop is male dominated with only a hand full of female rappers making it big , what do you bring to the table that makes people want to listen to you?

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA: basically if you listen to my music you will find that my music is positive, its to empower women and just have fun with life. nowadays you find a lot of women selling sex and their bodies in the music, and i feel like its more to music than just that, its about having a great time and learning life experiences.

.

KAPA187:You are based in the US , but you do have funs in your home country of Zambia , do you feel like they are appreciating your music?

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA: yes i actually do have a lot fans in my home country Zambia. But ive learned that no matter who you are not everyone is going to like you, example look at God,  but as-long I touch at-least one persons heart then my work is done.

.

KAPA187: Yes that is true .Rap music in Zambia has been on the rise , are there any local rappers you are impressed with and would like to work with?

PRINCESS MWAMBA: yes i’m actually impressed with a lot and wouldn’t mind working and learning from all of them.

.

KAPA187:You have a video on youtube for your song Swagg walk that has over 15 000 views , how does that feel.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:I feel like I’m blessed because I’m new to the game and i have a lot of people supporting and loving me.

.

KAPA187:Apart from music what else are you interested in.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:I have always had a passion to help people i love helping and just knowing that i can put a smile on somebody’s face. also love dancing, modeling and playing sports.

.

KAPA187: Who inspires you , both musically and personally.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:musically its Brenda Fassie I JUST LOVE HER music so much even though i don’t know what she be saying, i can just feel the passion through it and it puts me in a different mind set. and personally its my mom. i love my mother Mary Zulu so much she is a beautiful caring loving and strong woman who don’t take no for an answer in life.

.

KAPA187:Do you have an album coming out , and will be available to your fans in Zambia.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:No album yet but i have an EP coming out that’s have of an mixtape. and yes it will deff be available for my people.

.

KAPA187: What have been your best and worst experiences in life.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:ive had a lot of great experiences in my life and my worst was to lose people that i care about like my grandma , grandpa and aunty but i take it as a learning experience.

.

KAPA187: Do you have plans on doing show in Zambia any time soon.

.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:yes i am just waiting on the EP to drop and i will be on my way. cant wait.

.

KAPA187: In 10 years i will be…
