The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has urged the Patriotic Front leadership to take stock of their performance in relation to pre-election campaign promises.
LAZ president James Banda has observed that most of the campaign promises made by the Patriotic Front remain unfulfilled.
Mr. Banda has cited the promise of delivering a people driven constitution within 90 days after assuming office as a prominent issue that has raised eyebrows in some sections of society.
The LAZ president has however observed that the PF government has an opportunity to make history by enacting a Constitution that will embrace the views of every Zambian.
He says it is therefore important for government to engage all stakeholders in coming up with a document that will stand a test of time.
Mr. Banda says consensus is a key component in the country’s constitution making process.

More pipo are now waking up.
Deja Vu
PF pollicies are the MMD policies which dont deliver anything to people. This is an eye opener to people. All politicl parties in Zambia have no plan for the people.
You may have just nailed it!
That’s a wise position to take.Â
If PF fails it doesn’t mean all other political parties can fail. UPND has got very good untested policies but you can’t talk about them positively because your are Bemba. If a kolwestan fails it doesn’t mean all other tribes will fail. What kind of brains do you people have?
More people are realizing what HH has been telling the nation. CNP’s
This sell out! Shut up and continue reclining in your activities with your fellow-destroyers
Yet they refuse when called CNP. At this rate expect things only to get worse. The chaps are busy talking n responding to everything even mosquito sound at the expense of strategic planning. Anyways the calibre speaks volumes. Defunct characters.
Thanks for waking up…….. Â its slowly getting to a point were no one want to associate with CNP
This constitution will not be concluded soon. The main reason is it is a money spinner. It enriches those who take part. They will keep changing goal posts until 2016 and beyond. You cant start something without a period limit, no resources limit, no limit to contributions, no limit to calling for legal protection, no limit to anything in this constitution making process. At how much allowances, communication system, staff salaries, cost of time, etc, no limit! After 90 million there will be another 100 million allocated, what a waste of government funds which could address other sectors! It all sinks in the bottomless stomachs of those involved. What is it that still needs to be done, before you realize that you are wasters of GRZ funds?
People were made to believe that the commission would use information gathered by past constitution commissions to make the process faster and save money. The reality is different. Its all about more money in their pockets..Â
WE WERE CHEATED…..CLEAR CASE PROMISE MADE TO ZAMTEL EMPLOYEES BY PRESIDENT SATA HAS NOT BEEN FULFILLED DESPITE THE PF REPOSSESSING ZAMTEL.
ANY WAY……ITS SO SAD BECAUSE WE HAD HOPE IN THE PF….BUT LOOKING AT THE WAY THINGS ARE MOVING……ITS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT MR SATA WILL HONOR THE PROMISE….HOPE ONE DAY HE WILL REMEMBER CAUSE WE AS ZAMTEL EMPLOYEES HAVE NOT LOST ALL HOPE.
You can only deliver when there’s something to deliver. The only thing to deliver in Zambia is poverty because it’s in abundance. Hahahaha!
Pamberi na ZANU PF
This is chimbwi no plan
What do you expect from a colonial constable with a bunch of misfits. What plan can they offer apart from awarding themselves and their families contracts. Ask Ukwa what he did to his cousin Chikwanda. As we are talking Chikwanda is filthy rich becos of the State house renovation.
