  1. Picture 6 that was highly embarassing. Why were the Zambian delegated late? Ha thats what happens when Kaponyas are in government. The japanese looked pissed.Sata wished the floor could open and swallow him.

  2. Picture No. 11 speaks a lot. Look at the shoe of the MMD North Western Chairman. It speaks volumes of the former ruling party slowly dieing with the former pastor.

  3. but why the Zambian deligation being late for that important meeting, am sure Sata will fire them all when they are back home. so embarrasing

  4. The picture caption does not say that the Zambian delegation was LATE it just says “…await the arrival of the Zambian delegation..” it could be that there were some logistics that the Zambian delegation were going through which the President was not a party too in accordance with his status, thus him being early.

  5. Pic#4 shows just how poor our kids are they can’t even afford shoes.Thats a dangerous environment laden with very sharp debris.

  6. This is ridiculous, I don’t know how people live and survive in Zambia, borderline slavery

I am sorry, a tear dropped off my eye, I am with Nick and our chins dropped in shock

    Thanks

  7. i quite disagree , the ministers were late fromthe facial positioning. the other japanese is ready to start the ball rolling, and the president is waiting for the experts from zed to come early….lets not defend wrongs, it is bad to come after the president has already arrived, its even worse in another international meeting……lets improve…i wonder how it is pa zed….do these guyz even have cabinet meetings
    ???

  8. I hope the car park owner had taken insurance for such eventualities! Arson or just pure accident? Too bad – less money in people’s pockets.

  9. Pic #1 could have been deliberately done for insurance money. Where did the fire come from. How did it engulf all vehicles. Something smells fish.

  10. I hope the next car park will have better retardants and other safety features to prevent this from happening – but then again, I know markets in Zambia go ablaze all the time; ati SHANSHA!

  11. Sinx uli mwaume at scrutinising pictures.yes, how do you expect a party to survive with such a Provincial chairman`s shoe.ha ha ha

  12. #6 OLD HABITS DIE HARD. EVEN IN JAPAN WHERE COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPORT ARE THE MOST EFFICIENT IN THE WORLD- THE ZAMBIAN DELEGATION IS LATE. AFRICANS ARE NOT SERIOUS. THEY LACK DISCIPLINE.

  13. I HAVE NOW READ THE WHOLE STORY THROUGH PIX AND I STILL HAVE ONE CONCERN. IT WAS NOT ONLY VERY STEW-PID OF THE ZAMBIAN DELEGATION TO BE LATE FOR SUCH AN IMPORTANT MEETING BUT ALSO EMBARRASSING AND DIS-RESPECTIVE TOWARDS AUTHORITIES FROM BOTH SIDES- THE JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER AND THE ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT. THE PICTURE TELLS THE WHOLE STORY. OUR PRESIDENT WAS IN A PANIC WHILE THE JAPANESE WERE SHOCKED AND DISAPPOINTED OF SUCH BEHAVIOUR. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYTHING OUR PRESIDENT SAID WAS DILUTED BY THE ZAMBIAN SIDE ROTTEN ATTITUDE OF LATE-COMING. JUST TYPICAL. EXCEPTIONALLY, SATA IS RARELY OR NEVER LATE FOR WORK/MEETINGS. WHEN YOU ARE SOLICITING FOR MANUFACTURING INVESTMENTS FROM A COUNTRY AS INDUSTRIALISED AS JAPAN PEOPLE NEEDED TO SHOW SOME SERIOUSNESS AND RESPECT. BUT THE ZAMBIAN…

  14. …DELEGATION DECIDED TO SHOW THEIR USUAL HABITS OF TREATING THE JAPANESE THE THEY TREAT THEIR FELLOW ZAMBIANS WITHOUT RESPECT BUT WITH CONTEMPT. THIS IS A BUNCH OF IRRESPONSIBLE ZAMBIANS.

  15. Pic 6.I sympathise with Sata on this one.He is shocked and pissed off.I might be abbreviating Fackson Shamendas name. Where a Fack are my pipo. Mr preseident displine youy chaps becuse they will continue embarracing you.

  16. How would the president Sit before his delegation? Was it a special meeting or what? @ Pic 7: Lubinda and team, face expressions seem very serious? Ready to fight or what? You cannot smile? Be very observant on body postures of our Team vs. Japanese. They are not relaxed at all.

  17. What if the Zambian president and his delegation had been the ones awaiting the arrival of the Japanese delegation at State House? Would it have bothered anyone?

And I dare to presume there have been more times the Zambian delegation had to await their foreign counterparts than vice versa.

  18. Pic #6 its called keeping african time and we see it on these shores everyday. Its the same blase’ or apathetic attitude that Africans have used to show no respect for time, for cleanliness or sticking to rules or ideas. The same blase attitude you’ll find in party hopping between briefcase parties. The parties themselves are founded on that same attitude-no difference in or respect for ideology and are built purely around tribal or personality cult.

  19. Pic 1 to 3, agony is to lie to your wife that you will be attending a workshop in Siavonga and your vehicle is among those caught up in the inferno while you were having an overnight sweet time at your girlfriends place in Kanyama. Imagine.

  20. Never seen a country with pigs for politicians and in high office, like …..Z.
I’m sure those vehicles are not insured.Learning the hard way – investing in Zambia!!!
