Power Dynamos supporters are devastated by the 2011 champions failure to defend the Faz Super Division title and the Barclays Cup.
Power endured a bad ending to the 2012 season surrendering the league title to Zanaco on the final day of the season on November 10 and a week later the Barclays Cup to Napsa Stars 9-8 on post-match penalties after extra-time.
Power supporters secretary Stanley Mwenya charged that lack of commitment cost the Arthur Davies outfit this year.
“This is very devastating, I don’t know what to say we are speechless. We lacked the character we showed before the end of the league and the run-up to the cup final. That team lacked seriousness and there was no commitment on the part of our players. We lacked leadership you can’t lose a match in such a manner,” Mwenya said.
He added:” The way forward is to sit as stakeholders and map-out a strategy ahead of our CAF Confederation Cup and the league next year.”
As runners-up in the league, Power will next season play in the Confederation Cup.
Very sad indeed, I for one left Levy stadium a very sad man but I shall remain a Dynamo supporter anyway.
Beston Chambeshi must go and be replaced with the coach who can read the game .

the day when we lost to Napsa was indeed a sad day for me. i failed to drive my pajero to kitwe.it was devastating. can we fire Beston but remain with Hector and another experienced coach. Beston failed to read the game.Kaumba read the game .anyway once Power always Power.
The last few days have been very devastating for us Power Dynamos supporters. It was so especially that we had a solid hope of reclaiming the league championship after we dislodged ZANACO from the top. However, this is not the right time to begin pointing fingers at one another. Let us not be emotional. The experiences of the last few weeks should make us even more determined to work harder in the confederation cup and the local league. We have the right players and sponsorship to do an exceptional job next season. Let us not lose heart!
Indeed 1Mwenya you must also add that “Slowsilver” Chambeshi should have been shown the door the moment Power lost to Red Arrows to give away the league, that waz more painfull. Retaining the Barclays Cup waz just going to be a bonus. There’z no loss in getting some lessonz from Chelsea’z Abramovich…
