Power Dynamos coach Beston Chambeshi insists he is satisfied with his team’s slender 1-0 win over Angola’s Recreativo de Caala in Sunday’s home CAF Confederation Cup match in Kitwe.
Chambeshi’s Power needed a 70th minute header from striker Graven Chitalu to beat Caala in a preliminary round, first leg match at Arthur Davies.
He told journalists at Arthur Davies that he was comfortable with a narrow score-line.
Chambeshi stated that it was important for Power to start the Confederation Cup campaign with a victory.
“I am happy with the result.I am comfortable with the 1-0 win,” Chambeshi said.
“The win is important for us, it is better we pick a point other than drawing 0-0,” he added.
Chambeshi hinted that he will maintain the team he used on Sunday ahead of the return leg on 2nd March.
Meanwhile, Caala coach Ricardo Formozinho regretted the one goal his team conceded.
“One mistake from my team Power scored but it’s okay we have the second leg in Angola,” Formozinho stated.
