United Party for National Development (UPND) Chinsali Central aspiring candidate Christopher Chiponde has thanked the people of Chinsali and Muchinga Province at large for the warm welcome given to Republican President Hachilema Hichilema when he visited the area yesterday.
Mr Chiponde thanked the people in the area for the overwhelming turnout.
He stated that the presence, enthusiasm, and unwavering support that people showed demonstrate the unity, hope, and determination to continue on the path of development and progress.
He explained that the support and massive turnout is a clear testimony of people”s commitment to a better future for Chinsali and Zambia as a whole.
Mr Chiponde said this in a statement posted on his Facebook page and obtained by ZANIS in Chinsali today.
“Thank you for standing together, for showing respect to our Republican president, and for proving once again that Chinsali remains a beacon of peace, hospitality, and development.” He said
Meanwhile, Mr Chiponde has urged people to continue working together to build a stronger, more prosperous Chinsali Central for all.
President Hichilema was yesterday in Chinsali on a working visit.
