That I might not disrespect the President

President Michael Sata

Lord,

Zambia in shambles

We hubble ourselves before you.You said if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray I will hear from heaven and heal their land. Father God, today we want to pray for Zambia.Lord there is a general feeling of discontentment in the country.

Our Education system is leaves much to be desired and Zambians spend billions of Kwacha to send their children to Universities outside the country. Our health care system is pathetic with hospitals lacking basic drugs and facilities.Billions of Kwacha are spent every year sending the sick to hospitals outside the country.Lord its like the little we have is being taken from us.

Our Transport system is deplorable. We just lost 51 lives in one day due to our very bad and pathetic road network.Lord we don’t even have a functional railway system.Yet you have blessed us with a great location in South Central Africa.

Lord you continue to bless us with abundant natural resources and we have failed to utilise them.Instead foreign corporations are siphoning huge amounts of money meant for Zambia and Zambians.

Zambia’s sin

Oh Lord what has brought this on the land of Zambia but our sin.Lord we are nothing without you.We confess our sins.We confess just talking and not acting. We confess expecting someone else to solve our problems. We the learned confess for our passivity in not putting our knowledge to practise and solving the problems our country is faced with.Instead we sit by our computers and insult others for not doing more.

We confess our laziness, for not doing our jobs to the best of our ability. We confess the corruption that is evident in every sphere of our lives from the small man on the street to the leaders in high office. We confess our hypocrisy in condemming the few that are caught while our own hands are soiled.

[pullquote]Lord today we want to specifically confess calling President Sata and his team satanists among other names. We refuse to proclaim evil over our land.[/pullquote]

Lord today we want to specifically confess calling President Sata a satanist among other names. We refuse to proclaim evil over our land. We confess because we know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities rulers of this dark age.You created these people and allowed them to be in the positions they are in today. We confess Lord because we are nothing without you.

Prayer for our leaders

Instead Lord we bring the president and the government leaders before you today and ask you to protect them from evil influence.May the plans of evil men come to naught.Lord open our leaders eyes that they may see the path that you would have them walk in.Please give them divine wisdom that they may lead this country to greater heights.Purge their hearts from sin.Judgement is yours.Judge the wicked in our midst Lord. If our government leaders refuse to obey you please remove them from our midst and may righteous men take their places.

Heal our land oh Lord.Unite us Lord for we are One Zambia and One Nation. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole word yet lose his soul?

Barotseland

Lord the people who call their land Barotseland are greatly troubled and no longer want to be a part of Zambia.Their desire is so great that Lord this could lead to a civil war one day.Lord we cry before you to please bring peace to this situation. We come against any war. Please Lord raise up a leader , a general who can solve this problem before it gets out of hand.Raise one who can win this war without fighting.

Respecting all religions we choose to submit this pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen

  1. Proverbs 29v2 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.
Father in heaven we are groaning please help Zambia!

  2. Iam particularly disappointed with the so called pastors in zambia who are quiet regarding wat is happening. where are the prophets in zambia??????

  3. Lord may all the under5s grow up and those who ran a regional Tonga party realize Zambia is bigger. May those who have departed from the Church stop using your name in vain. Protect us from the Zambia Dog watch hatred and insults.

    • Did God make a mistake to create Tongas?
This prayer is serious, watch what will happen this year.
If God says there will never be a Tonga President in Zambia, we will put on sackcloth and wail before Him so that He reveals our sin as a tribe and repent. For He is mighty and His mercies endure forever.

We are all Zambians, lets do good for our country. Most of all lets recognise God for who He is in our land. SHALOM

  4. Powerful Prayer! Indeed we are a people that are called by His name. The bible declares “My kingdom has suffered violence and the violent shall take it by force”. Prayer is the way to go …………thank you

  5. … review to us oh Lord what is meant by Mapatizya formula so that we may not die in vain this coming bye elections. Protect us from people wishing the poor more poverty to the International community while they enjoy riches aquired from privatization.

  6. @Kci another satanist, shame on you lucifer. hell is waiting , go eat the soil, you snake. look at you enemy of our Lord Jesus. shame shame shame lucifer kci.

  7. Brethren, Sata has failed. The last two months has been dedicated to by elections. March and April will be dedicated to bye elections for Kapiri. Perhaps may and June will be dedicated to elections in Itezhi tezhi. In all these elections hundreds of man power ….eg now many ps, ministers, GRZ officials are camped either in Mpongwe or L/stone. Millions of Kwacha we bleed as a country. Such wastefulness has nothing to do with God but directly the stewardship of evil. This is not a blessing but a pure curse on our land. Why did God not help us as a country to understand Sata’s polical life before we gave him the job? Politic, politics, politics and hooliganism all his life of 73 year!

  8. How do you pray when you know the cause of the problem? Just sort out or avoid the problem. Then pray to thank God?

“We confess our laziness, for not doing our jobs to the best of our ability”

  9. Mr prayer man mind the way u call on the name of the Lord coz it shall not be used in vain. All i know is u have to pray in privacy and take your needs to Jesus. What will it help bringing that prayer in public??? Between the lines one is able to read the biasness in your prayer. However, lets pray for the country individually and in secrecy, what i ask God about Zambia is not what Sakeni will ask his god about Zambia… so pliz thanks for the prayer but next time do it privately…

  10. bushe ci satana cilomfwa, cipepa iyabufi citata ici.Ciya mukutumfya Lesa .Wonama aka CNP busy creating by elections now its kapiri n Lukulu instead of diverting the money for tangible things.

  11. Father God please protect us from the masonists so that they can not hijack our beloved nation as they are fighting so hard to distablise the govt which you had put in place till the time you will say its over for their rule, we pray for the wonderful peace that we enjoy to prevail. Amen

  12. dear God in Heaven forgive or those with personal hatred towards another tribe in Zambia unite us as one oh God, you Gave us Dr KK ,Dr Chiluba ,Dr Mwanawasa Mr RB, and now Mr. Sata and we are very thankfull to you oh God we Petition you that you be with our President oh God, give him direction to finish his tenure of office my lord My God father in heaven above all forgive us all for we are made to sin and speak ill of our leaders not out of our wishes but because of the physical being and th pressure and presure that sorounds us in jesus Name we pray .Amen.

  13. The prayers should have also included freedom of expression for the opposition parties to assemble freely and exercise their democratic rights, professionalism in all Govt depts , the President and his Government to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and serve the people of Zambia , Zambians to enjoy the democracy that they fought for in 1991, righteousness, justice and integrity to prevail in Zambia and the land to be cleansed from all evil occurrences.

  14. “Those who put their trust in God are like Mt. Sion that cannot be shaken” God we trust in you for you know what is best for Mother Zambia.

    • If that is true then they should not use the name of the Lord in vain. They should repent and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and serve the people of Zambia with humility, they should also let righteousness, justice and intergrity prevail in Zambia as they will give an account to God concerning what they did with the opportunity that God gave them to serve.

  15. Yes, Zambia needs to pray without ceasing, the devil is roaring like a lion seeking whom he may devour. Zambia is under siege.
When the children of Israel suffered torment and slavery in Egypt under Pharaoh, God heard their plea and liberated them from tyranny. The Lozi people are also crying for emancipation so they can live in freedom because in Zambia there is a clique from a certain region who make it impossible to live with in harmony. God answers prayer.

  16. All leaders are given to us by GOD. We must therefore not insult them. We should always pray for them that GOD gives them wisdom to lead us well. Praise be to GOD for our President HE Mr. Sata and other leaders in the country. We pray to the Almighty to guide them as they lead us to greater heights. To HE Mr Sata, we may not agree with you on certain things, but we love you, we respect you, we shall not insult you should we not agree on some issues. And above all, we wish you well.

  17. Rubbish! We should learn to use science to solve our problems not running to Bible thumping fanatics and expect any solution. God this, God that will not solve any problems, we don’t need divine intervention to build our bridges, roads , good houses or clean streets. People are becoming lazy to think for themselves, they always trying to hide behind the bible for their laziness or incompetence. Man made problems should be solved by men not God!. No matter how much we pray, the filthy in our streets will remain there unless we the people cleans it. We don’t need these pathetic prayers, we need to think and come up with solutions to our problems as human beings, heavenly interventions will never come.

  18. Thank you Lord for the words of wisdom. Please LORD remind our current leaders about their promise of governing this country by the 10 commandments. Please JESUS, REMIND SATA ABOUT HIS PROMISE OF 10 COMMANDMENTS. We have only one Zambia. Our hearts are heavy and troubled at the way our leaders are behaving. They are taking the little money we have into by-elections when our children are dying of curable diseases. They are promoting tribalism when south africa just won the war over apatheid, they are harassing their fellow Zambians the opposition, for pointing out evils in our society, Please JESUS, nothing is impossible for you. We pray in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Amen
