MMD needs to give hope to its members-Chituwo

Opposition Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) Vice President Brian Chituwo says the onus is on the MMD to give hope and stop members from leaving the former ruling party.

Dr Chituwo says defections from one political party to the other will always be there but that it is up to political parties losing members to make them attractive.

He adds that political party leaders should also build confidence in their members and make them believe in their leadership.

Dr Chituwo notes that membership to a political party is voluntary hence the movement from one party to another is a democratic process and a question of choice.

And Dr Chituwo says there will be nothing wrong with the UPND merging with the MMD as both parties are made up of human being and not objects.

  1. You are right. So the conclusion is….. MMD is not attractive, other parties especially the PF is!

  2. Chituwo could have made leadership sense had the MMD chosen him to be party president.

  3. Yes, he sounds as if he is already out of MMD. MMD is dead as its Former leader is being embarrassed at the disclose of his being so corrupt…he got a $1 million USD fraudulently from a Nigerian. MMD mukose guys.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  4. MMD made a grave mistake by electing Nevers as their president. They should have considered his track record of running a political party. Nevers has not added anything to the MMD but subtracted everything including. He has put theMMD into a political limbo and the party is in PICU(political intensive care unit) and very soon the MMD wil bedaedShame!!
