Bruce Mwape has been named head coach of struggling FAZ Super Division side Konkola Mine Police.
Club chairman Gideon Mwenya confirmed on Tuesday evening that Mwape has signed a one-year contract at the Chililabombwe outfit.
Mwape has ditched Roan United nine months into a two-year contract at Kafubu Stadium.
The ex-Nchanga Rangers coach was unveiled as Mine Police coach on Tuesday afternoon.
“He was introduced to the players today after signing a one year contract,” Mwenya said.
“We expect positive results from him and possibly a top four finish,” he adds.
Mwape will be assisted by Geoffrey Choongo and Rotson Kilambe.
He begins life in Chililabombwe on August 25 when Mine Police hosts Napsa Stars in the Week 18 tie at Konkola Stadium
Why?
just when i was thinking he has an ambition for roan united and now he has ditched them. maybe he was not being paid.
We need him at Power Dyanamos where we are failing to shine to be assisted by kabole and hire sate sate from pa chilata kuba red and striker Bornwell Mwape from Rangers to avoid going intio division 2.
