Weekend Scorecard: Assembly thump Mighty

“Mighty” Mufulira Wanderers woes deepened over the weekend after an emphatic away loss to National Assembly.

Mighty lost 4-0 away in Lusaka to Assembly in a FAZ Division One North Week 18 game.

Isaac Lungu, Simon Nkhoma Jacob Milanzi and Milton Malambo were on target for Assembly in their rout over fallen Mighty.

Assembly lead Division One North table on 41 points from 18 games played, five points ahead of Indeni.

Mighty meanwhile, are fifth from bottom in 14th place with 17 points from 18 games played and just three wins to talk about all season.

However, Mighty’s less illustrious archrivals Mufulira Blackpool are 5th on 31 points with a game in hand after 17 games played.
