PF Lusaka District Interim Chairman Julius Komaki has announced the official reopening of the Lusaka PF District Offices that were closed at the height of the internal wrangles.
Mr Komaki said the offices cannot not remain closed indefinitely because that will affect the party organisation and mobilisation.
He charged that party mobilisation has suffered greatly under the leadership of Secretary General Wynter Kabimba, Provincial Chairman Geoffrey Chuumbwe and former District Chairman Goodson Banda.
Mr Komaki announced that the party now has an interim district executive for Lusaka pending the holding of elections for a new executive as instructed by President Sata.
“Today we repeat our demands that Mr Wynter Kabimba must resign or be forced as PF Secretary General. Mr Kabimba has lost the legitimacy and respect worthy of a Chief Executive of the PF and is now a lame-duck SG. PF members from all 10 provinces, youths, women and men have passed a vote of no confidence in him through the petitions submitted. We have total faith and confidence in President Sata and the Central Committee to decisively and quickly act on these petitions,” Mr Komaki said.
He added, “We call upon all PF members across Zambia to rally behind President Sata and help mobilise, organize and campaign of the PF in every house, village, town, district, city and province to ensure victory in 2016 elections.”
Mr Komaki urged all government, ministers, PF MPs and other officials to help President Sata by marketing PF party policies and explaining to Zambians the unprecedented socio-economic developments by the government.
Mr Komaki who was recently battered by rival gangs during a clash along Airport road said he was grateful to God for sparing his life.
“I thank God the Almighty for sparing my life in the violence caused by fellow PF members. I will not say much because this matter is before the Courts of Law. I bear the scars of serious life threatening injuries on my body, an innocent young life was lost, many PF members were injured and private property damaged. We have confidence in the police and the Courts of Law to handle these cases professionally as directed by President Sata.”

In as much as this guy may be naive and hated, he has spoken the truth…Kabimba must be fired. He is an arrogant, unelected politician who is riding on the back of Sata’s horse and yet he failed to voice support for Sata. It party explains why he is happy to be saluted as “state counsel” despite having lost all legal cases. He is now eyeing to be the Republican President without having been voted into any political office.
