Guy Scott is Wynter’s lapdog and in the absence of any other known enemy of Wynter he will keep barking at GBM. What Wynter’s lapdog does not realize is that while OP reports to President Sata indicate that in case of a by-election in Kasama Central, PF would lose, the cartel, for whom Scott barks want to see GBM out of PF at all costs.

What the cartel and PF’s Central Committee do not have are balls to expel GBM. The cartel wants to clear the path for Wynter Kabimba’s ascendance to the PF Presidency. Wynter’s lapdog, Guy Scott has run out of legitimate shooting targets.

The cartel holding Sata hostage have insisted that even with the Tribunal, Wynter Kabimba does not Resign or get Fired.

Many people are wondering why Minister of Justice and PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba has not stepped down or been fired by the President following the establishment of a Tribunal to investigate his breach of secrecy concerning a letter he wrote on PF letterhead seeking private legal opinion on the nullification of opposition party parliamentary seats while copying the President and the Acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda.

This was the letter that was key in the acquittal of MMD president Nevers Mumba from the contempt court charges he faced in the Supreme Court.

In fact, people have also been wondering why Wynter would still not resign or get fired by his boss Mr. Sata when PF members countrywide demonstrated and petitioned for his removal as party Secretary General, including turncoats like Jean Kapata in the central committee.

President Sata wouldn’t even allow these petitions to be heard in the central committee or be referred to the PF disciplinary committee.

In ethical or moral organizations and political parties one would be expected to step down voluntarily, even temporarily, when serious allegations necessitating the setting up of a tribunal have been made against them concern breach of public trust.Otherwise the leader of such an organization or political party would personally relieve the accused of their duties pending clearance by the tribunal.

President Sata recently fired two deputy ministers Hon. Mwewa and Hon. Chitotela pending the outcome of investigations by the anti-corruption commission (ACC) on allegations of corruption raised by the Auditor General.

In the MMD government under President Rupiah Banda, former transport and communications minister Hon. Dora Siliya had to be relieved of her duties once a tribunal was set up to investigate her alleged misconduct in the procurement contracts of airport radar equipment.

In the US, a famous case involved the resignation of former US president Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal without first waiting for conclusion of investigations by the FBI, impeachment by Congress, or a guilty verdict by the courts of law.

The PF government has seriously lowered the ethical and moral bar to new lows as evidenced by a lot of clearly immoral and unethical happenings in their party and the nation – when you do something abnormal for a long time it seems normal.

It is normal for PF to have deep divisions resulting in machete-wielding cadres and militias hacking each other to death or causing grievous bodily harm while their leaders smile and look on.

It is normal for the PF government to manipulate the Constitutional making process contrary to their electoral promises, connive with a corrupt judiciary to nullify opposition parliamentary seats, poach opposition MPs through bribery, sponsor division and confusion causing havoc in opposition political parties, deregister the biggest opposition party MMD, abuse the Public Order Act by unleashing police brutality on innocent citizens they are supposed to be protecting and arbitrarily harass and imprison opposition party leaders.

It is normal for the PF to have the police scared to charge known PF thugs with murder while witnesses are intimidated and bribed not to testify and the court judges recuse themselves from handling these cases.

After all, Wynter Kabimba, who claims to have been Michael Sata’s disciple for over 30 years has clearly stated on national television that “There is no morality in politics, bwana.” Like pupil like teacher, so it can be assumed that from the “Michael Sata School of Politics” Ethics and Morality is not one of the subjects taught there.

Their philosophy simply sees politics as a Zero-Sum game full of winners and losers, and the end always justifies the means, be it beating, hacking, etc.

I wish to remind Kabimba, Scott and Sata that there are some universal ethical values that are acceptable across all human societies and enshrined in the Golden Rule: Love your neighbor as you love yourself; Do unto others what you would want them to do unto you (Jesus); Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself (Confucius); Avoid what you would blame others for doing (Thales); Abalio expectes alteri quod feceris – expect from others what you did to them (Seneca).

Evidence has shown that to ensure long-term success an organization or political party should have as its foundation a solid, clear, no-tolerance policy on unethical conduct — a political party or organization simply cannot survive unethical conduct.

Hence the leader of the organization must then set an example by always going above and beyond: doing even more than the public expects, acting with more transparency, helpfulness, and honesty than is expected in every dealing, internal and external.

Example is leadership (Albert Schweitzer). The greater a man is in power above others, the more he ought to excel them in virtue. None ought to govern who is not better than the governed. (Publius Syrus). The leader of an organization or political party has primary responsibility for promoting ethics in his group. In The Godfather they say, “The fish rots from the head down.” Hence when one meets people from a political or organization who act sleazy, you should assume that the leader or CEO is sleazy.

There is not doubt that PF is scared of expelling GBM. Why wait on him to resign if you have the confidence to win Kasama Central? Sata must know that the cartel will not take care of his children and estate after he is dead, like everyone else dies. Indeed, the more things change, the more they stay the same!

  1. ARE THESE HEADLINES CRAFTED MY LT OR THEY ARE UNCENSORED REPRODUCTION OF BLOGGER AT LT?
PLEASE BA LT, TRY TO BE PROFESSIONAL.

    • What is wrong with the write up? You have just exposed your backwardness to happenings in Zambia as well as your mediocre level of thinking.. Wake up you backward Zambian…

    • Good read indeed, but I think Chibanshe is teaching the unteachable. They are unteachable in spirit and by lack of intellectual capacity to deduce logic!

    • Luapula. Learn to read before commenting. The bible is very clear on this. Be slow to respond and quick to listen. You are always out of topic. Have your own mind to analyse issues. What you are doing is called political masturbation, self satifying politics.

    • The vice president issued a timely intervention

Saying that I love GBM, I think he remain principles during these trying times

      Hang in there Mr Mwamba

      Thanks

    • What is really sad is that people even think GBM and related noise are news-worthy!!

Please, let us focus on development, not individuals.

This article is therefore a non-sense.

      NEXT !!!

    • I don’t know how many times we are going to tell this PF lapdog who calls himself Luapula Premier that it is uncivilized to post in CAPITAL LETTERS – that is the equivalent of screaming instead of speaking in a normal voice.

    • Just so that we are all clear Mr. Mwanwhatever the author of said article ,
is the term “lapdog” directed at the individual Guy Scott
or at the office of the vice president which he holds? Or both? Or you simply don’t care?

Regardless, I find the tone of this article most insulting. Guy Scott and his family have sacrificed a lot for Zambia. Those of you who have bothered to read history will know that his late father was a medical doctor in Matero and he treated Zambians at his own cost and was one of the few muzungus who supported indigenous rule.

What is wrong with a little respect? Lapdog???

Get ready to pay an arm and a leg in compensation for character assassination you feckless !diots.

    • Luapula Premier, if you want articles that always praises these *****ts then go to the post website. Guy Scot wouldn’t even be elected a councillor in his native Scotland. In Zambia is Vice President appointed by a follow senile fooll.

  2. It is painful and agonising to witness a remnant of British barbarian active on the African landscape. Guy Scott is a planted British rat. We are perplexed to note the total lack of civilised leadership qualities by Sata and Guy Scott. What is their real mission in Zambia?

Taking into account the great financial contribution GBM rendered to PF, Mr. Sata and Guy Scott would have opted to take a diplomatic route to reconcile with GBM (and the Bemba Chiefs). Their leadership role could have been focussed on building bridges of unity between warring camps. Alas! We are witnessing massive weakness in Sata and Scott who have capitulated to the wishes of such mercenaries like Kabimba, Nchito and Fred Mmembe – at their own political peril.
    God Hear Our Prayers

    • @ Mphangwe and others, at least, give some respect to the authority. Whether you like it or not, PF is in power and there is nothing you can do about it. Hiding behind your laptop or computer does not give you a leeway to insult those in authority.

    • @Diva :Respect is a two way street and PF leaders have a far bigger insult to the Zambian people than the other way round. They’re toying with peoples lives for their own cheap political gain.

  3. Hahaha, ati Kabimba’s lap dog.Well,at least dogs look up to us from the floor while cats look down on us from atop the cupboard.

  9. (A) You know, a wise and mature leader has the following qualities:
    1) Knows how to assemble a credible team to work with – a team that will offer meaningful and progressive advice.
    2) Listens to noble advice, interprets it and makes wise decisions that last.
    3) Plans his undertakings and carries out sensible actions.
    4) Knows how to subdue his feelings and channel them appropriately.

    (B) Some people say, the problem SATA has is that he is surrounded by wrong people – Oh!
If you have such view, ask yourself the following questions:
    1) Who assembled the team for SATA, and where was he at the time – asleep?
    2) Does he listen to advice? If he does, what advice does he enjoy – wrong advice or right one? Why?
    3) With reference part (A) above, using your answers in questions (B) 1)…

  10. 3) With reference part (A) above, using your answers in questions (B) 1) and (B) 2) above to assess SATA; Is he a wise leader or not?
    4) Give reasons for your answer in (B) 3) and for your conclusion.

After successfully completing the above exam you will receive a Diploma in Blogging from Online University – OU.

  11. Guy you have dared GBM to step down if he is man enough, I dare you to fire him if you are man enough, are you not the VP????????. Try, fire him and I can assure you of the obvious consequences, you will relinquish that seat period, and that will trigger a wind of change, mark my words and watch this space.

  14. Good article, how i wish Sata knew how to read. Mr Scott if their is one i.d.i.o.t the Zambian people would love to see resign is your fellow imbecile Winter. If you cant stand GBM comments on his face book page, kindly avoid reading what he writes. This just goes to confirm that indeed you are the most stupid white man in Africa. The all lot of you can not hold a press conference to talk about GBM`s face book postings. Spare us this crap BWANA!

  15. Bonse fye muli fipuba. The writer is even more i.dio.tic than most. Just come out and write direct to Scott. At least Scott has balls and directed his challenge at gbm. If gbm thinks he is powerful, let him show them by resigning and winning with a landslide majority. Chibanshe, you are vomit!

  16. PF GOVT IS JUST A CONFUSED PARTY, JUST LOOK AT;
    (1) SATA’S NEVER ENDING APPOINTMENTS AND DISMISSALS
    (2) CONFUSION IN THEIR PARTY-TODAY THEY WANT CHUUMBWE ( TODAY’S DAILY NATION)AND GBM (TODAY’S POST) EXPELLED, C/BELT PF ACCUSES KAMBWILI OF INTIMIDATION IN ELECTION (TODAY’S POST)
    (3) PATHETIC FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION EXERCISE
    (4) CADRES AT KAMWALA AND CITY MARKET (MUVI TV)
    (5) UNDEMOCRATIC ELECTION OF MULENGA SATA
SO MANY ISSUES HAPPENING IN PF GOVT

  17. This article is written by a frustrated man.How do you support a person decampaigning his own party ? GBM should either apologize to President Sata or resign…Simple !

  18. Chibashe Mwantusha your frustration comes through the article. GBM joined PF after 2006 when the party was on the ascendency. for those who dont know ask GBM what business he was doing in Zimbabwe. He was smuggling ciggerates.

  19. Oh! Foolish docile Zambians we are; Who has bewitched us to have been born where we are and led by our current leaders?, the cry goes out daily; How long will our masters carry on abusing sons and daughters of mother Zambia? They have even striped our God given traditional rulers for the sake their immoral rule. Who will console us in our own land where we have turned into strangers?
Zambians remember this: From birth we have been nature d that our God reigns from above and is not oblivious to the happenings on earth and those in power. Our cry has risen to the Holy throne and assurance is certain that evil men are on slippery ground. They may think they are in power over the Lord’s people and will not know when power will slip out of their eyes in a bleak of a moment.

  20. Ba LT stop behaving like ZWD. The headline carries a biased or opinionated message. Journalists should try to be objective not to lead readers towards a certain line of thought. In this case your insulting term lapdog is one you want us to believe even before we read the article.

  21. It is clear that PF is dead scared of GBM. Just like PF will be given a good beating in Katuba just a few kilometers up north, they will be hammered clean in Kasama. If PF has BALLS, let them fire GBM. This guy has done his homework.
