Konkola move on after Chambeshi departure

Konkola Blades have promoted Enos Silwimba to the role of club head coach following the departure of Beston Chambeshi who rejoined Nkana on Tuesday.

Club secretary Patrick Musonda confirmed Silwimba’s appointment on Wednesday.

He was Chambeshi’s first assistant and will now be assisted by John Munkonje.

This is the second time Silwimba is acting as Konkola head coach.

“We have appointed Enos Silwimba as acting head coach. He will be assisted by John Munkonje and Bernard Chellah,” Musonda said.

Meanwhile, Musonda said Konkola will miss Chambeshi and hailed him as one of the best coaches to have drilled the Chililabombwe outfit.

He revealed that Chambeshi left with the full blessings of the club.
