The National Restoration Party is calling upon all political parties to support the call for transparency in the funding of political parties. In a statement released today, NAREP president, Elias Chipimo says that in the same way that political parties are being encouraged to sign social contracts on the implementation of a new constitution, they should also accept accountability to the Zambian people regarding where they are taking money from in order to run their campaigns.
In a democracy, people have a right to information not only from the government buy also from those that seek to govern the people.
In order to ensure that laws of the land are being complied with and that Zambians are not unfairly exploited in the future as a result of dubious funding from investors, it is necessary that people are made fully aware of the source of money being used by candidates.
Just with only about 28 days to go before elections, ka Chipimo is still talking about source of funding. This guy does not use connected thinking. Source of funding is from well wishers. My friend, if u are not ready, just pull out. No one will laugh at u. The strategy u used to get into politics was a wrong one. By the time u realize, u will be stony broke. U shud have joined an existing party; establish yourself in such a party & catapult to the top at a convention. Man this is timely advise:- u are wasting yo hard earned resources. Pull out altogether.
A lost guy. It’s a waste of time and space.
You’re now feeling the heat. Lol. Just campaign iwe. Ni Aleisa Aleisa!!
Chipimo, start with PF.
My thoughts EXACTLY…you sir deserve my like…
@ brickforce wire….my thoughts exactly..he does the wrong things at the wrong time altogether, its like he is not well coordinated with current state of events…hard to understand his thinking sometimes,. after this he will start condemning the authenticity of the election results koma he wasn’t even active at all…just go home and sleep sir, you are tired.
I agree with you, this chipimo is a vuvuzela, instead of campaigning , he is busy with knowing souces of funding of other political parties shame . I think he is sick.
If PF wins these elections, the Zambia Police will be sidelined and PF cadres will be the ones in charge. Usage of Pangas on innocent plot owners will be legalized. Is this what u want fellow Zambians? I HATE TO IMAGINE PF CAN WIN THESE ELECTIONS. Please fellow Zambians, help me vote out PF. Farmers will die. Imagine if there were no by-elections, wud nurses have been reinstated? Wud they b talking about recognizing Bemba chief? Wud they be talking about constitution when they already have a “functioning constitution”? Where wud we have found animal constitution that they wanted us to show them b4 we kud talk about pipo driven constitution? Under their administration, RDA has become a reclusive organization where only less than 3 pipo know wat is going on in RDA. No finstats, no audit.
Lead by example sir, Mr Chipimo, by telling us your source of funds
just organise yourself and campaign, you are wasting your time wondering for nothing.
Ka politician ka njala aka. My friend if you can’t mobilize funds for your party, don’t start fighting those who can
Young man you are lost still asking that question, you need lessons on fund raising. 2016 make sure that you go round looking for support. We are supporting HH financially so get the right people in your Party. All mature people knew that a by election was looming were you in denial like all of PF except for WK and Bashi Nono
People are saying if only he can join PF He can win , This is sad reality for chips
Chipimo if u think u wil get rich in politics u are a fool
When others are out campaigning little Chipimo is holding a press conference to mourn.
Chipimo if u think u wil get rich in politics u are like lungu, get rich first like HH and serve the people.
Yes, I do agree with Chipimo.
HH must disclose his source.
Probably from the change his kids found under the sofa cushions. The man is loaded – all self-made. Sourcing a campaign is chump change to him.
And yet look at how humble he is. As you ‘ocha’ that T-bone steak tonight, say a silent thank you to Mr. Hichilema for his contribution to the beef industry.
Most eedyots insult him by referring to his (most succesful) cattle rearing, while they can’t even afford the offals from one of his skinniest cows!
Mind-boggling, I say. Mind boggling.
CHIPIMO WHEN ARE U GOING TO TELL THE VOTERS TO VOTE FOR U,YOUR FRIENDS ARE BUSY CAMPNG,
Chipimo, LEAGUE YAKUKOSELA TE?

Our minerals shall not be exchanged for countless rallies in a bid to get to state house.
