Mayuka: Zambia can’t wait

Emmanuel Mayuka says Zambia are ready to roll in Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.

Zambia have returned to the place where their path to victory began in 2012 hoping for better fortunes after their 2013 failure to defend the title they surrendered after making a group stage exit in South Africa.

They face DR Congo tomorrow in a Group B opening match just 48 hours after landing for the tournament on Friday.

“We’re almost there. Kick-off tomorrow and I hope a great adventure for our team and country,” Mayuka said on his Facebook page.

    • Bola nipa Goal mufana, not pa Facebook. I wish you a great game at this tournament. Results, please. Success lies in winning the first game.

    • ……and in a weeks time when you get back to Southampton, you’ll find Eljero Elia playing in your position (than never was). Learn to be serious Mayuka for once. Football is not about walking aimlessly on the pitch like you do at Southampton.

  1. How a player who has never played a full game at his club or even when he was on loan in lowly ranked club in France can make final list in the Zambian national team is a utterly laughable…. this boy should not have been called at all.
Zambia and FAZ have never invested in the foundation we call the youth, facilities, training since 2012…FAZ is still spoon fed by the government using taxpayers money and the team is still camping in RSA…Galu never accounted for the 2012 winnings….nothing has ever changed only the empty suits bank balance.
Zambia is going NOWHERE….Zombies wake up!!

  2. I’ll always rally behind ba zed no matter what. Yesturday mayuka was our hero and then today some foolish chap calls him useless. Twalimishiba tamutasha. I wish ba zed all the best.

  3. ..And please don’t be selfish in front of goalposts, pass the ball to the best positioned player to slam it home. All the best.

    • Having been searching for 2 hrs and have come up empty handed. I don’t pay for sh*t when they’re making millions. Some free sh*t will come up by tomorrow.

  5. Hi guys can someone give me the link to watch our game pliz where l am l can’t see any good sports channels.

  6. …Mayuka cannot wait for what…??…to turn the tables and attract football agents/scouts….if he does not perform any better, that will be the end of premier league any where in Europe…he must talk to Sunzu to join him in China….
