Sofapaka beat Power Dynamos in friendly

Power Dynamos on Wednesday lost to Kenyan club Sofapaka in their second friendly game halfway through their ten-day training camp in Nairobi.

Sofapaka beat Power 1-0 to see Tennant Chilumba’s side suffer their first Kenya tour loss.

The scores were 1-0 at half-time in an opening 45 minutes that saw Julius Situmbeko fail to equalise from the penalty spot.

Power’s loss comes four days after beating Kenya champions Gor Mahia 3-0.

They face Tusker in their final friendly on Saturday before heading to Sudan on February 10.

Power are preparing for their 2015 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round, first leg match against Al Khartoum on February 13 in Khartoum.
