Be Strong, HH advises Canisius Banda

Share

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has advised his deputy for politics Dr Canisius Banda to be strong following the demise of his late wife, Alice Ndhlovu Banda.
Mr Hichilema in consoling Dr Banda stated that he should be strong because he is now the father and the mother of the house.

Speaking after the deceased was buried at Leopards Memorial Park today, Mr. Hichilema says since the unfortunate event last Saturday night, he had been encouraging Dr Banda to remain strong as children and other relatives will now rely solely on him for strength.

Mr Hichilema says it will be difficult to replace the late Mrs Banda as he was a uniquely created human being.

Family representative Alexander Miti praised Government through Health Deputy Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya and Praise Christian Centre for rendering support which eased the burden of organizing the funeral, through various contributions.

The burial was punctuated with traditional Nyau dances and was witnessed by Kasama PF Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, Peoples Party President Mike Mulongoti and scores of UPND cadres.

  1. take heart Dr. Banda and May God Comfort you……………this should be a lesson to all of us that Wakufa sazibika, lets stop mocking the sick , we should learn to respect people that are sick becuase we just dont know who is going to die

    • They say he who has vengeance should prepare two graves, one for his enemy and another for himself. Let’s learn to respect each other in society wakufa sazibika zoona!

  2. To bad to accept but we need to forge forward and live this situation in the hands of our God. Its now us remaining to put our life in Jehovah

    • Is the wife of a Doctor who said he had medical records for ECL? He couldn’t have the records for his better half? Sorry I am just hallucinating!!!!

  3. This Scruffy and dirt doctor has been mocking the president and yet he had a moving coffin in his closet. I wish you more sufferings

  4. His wife died of heart attack according to UTH PRM
But this is where HH and GBM misses it.
Does HH need comfort of red carpet at burial and GBM unnecessary waving as though it is political rally
This is the problem with UPND. Everything is political.
Death no chooses no one. It simply strikes and has no sequence nor predictable pattern. They said EL would die soon but what has happened. This is a reminder to UPND. Respect the sick and the dead

    • @DjR leave mrs Banda a lone. she was not seeking political Office like Lungu to be subjected to test. Lungu lied about his status ,at the time he was seeking a political office that’s the difference. Medical check ups are very important when looking for employment especially of the highest office of the land.Mrs Banda was a private citizen with full rights of secrecy un like president Lungu who is a property of all Zambians. He is answerable to as(Zambians).

    • It is true we should respect the sick and that we always do.It does not mean we should be employing the sick, the unfit to work.Even in companies people are sent on ealy retirement due to ill healthy. Some of these people even lives longer than those health workers that remain, but this is not a justification to employeeing people who not fit.

    • I always have a problem with Sido Mark’s reasoning!…so shallow and yet you are so vocal! Anyway empty tins make noise the loudest…idyaaat!

  5. This is the latest campaign strategy Upnd has come up with. To start killing themselves in order to win sympathy from from zambians. They ‘ve lined up a lot of their top ranking officials for sacrificial lamb just to make sure that they win 2016elections through a sympathy vote.
    Kikikikiki.

  6. Vampiro you are so stupid .you are just like your brothers in south Africa killing your fellow blacks. Instead of sympathizing you are busy thinking about politics and HH. What did HH do to you?s top this hate.

    • Look whos talking! Ati stop the hate and yet you are the same id!ots rejoicing in other people’s ill health! That’s the last advice I can have on earth especially that it’s coming from you Sido Mark!

  7. @ sido mark , you hate whenever the name HH is menetioned am surprised you have morals as well beacuse you are one of the few bloggers i know that have made the life of president Lungu hard, you always wish him bad luck. You wish our president bad luck but you do not want any one to wish your idol HH bad luck?? what goes round comes back around.

  8. @Sido Mark, Kwati uli mbwa sana iwe popi.

Why are you insulting everyone in your blogging?

Umfwa iwe Kapoli, Ababwata bwata, Tabakwata kwata.

    So, ulichikopo fye mumbwe.

You are so hyper believing that you will never be discovered.

    Wait a minute!

  9. UPND will NEVER rule Zambia they treated their ka party president to a red carpet, imagine! Even if they bought it with their own money this signifies PRIDE at it’s worst. They are paid in full. Come election times we shall go for the humble. And their ka proud president was even happy that the red carpet was provided for him tukakumona. Waloba ilyauma mu Kariba na mu mimana yonse.

  10. @jabulani, no that is not Maureen. it is mrs mutinta hichilema. she has shed off some weight. even her husband has. they must be considering their health above being full. very wise decision. not wayamba shedding weight when it is too late.
