We have finally witnessed the joining of Mr. Jevan Kamanga to the ruling PF.

In a bid to please his new masters, he chose not to attend a disciplinary hearing he had been summoned to last week and claims he has taken 400 members with him from NAREP to PF, claims we strongly dismiss as a party.

Mr. Kamanga joins the ranks of so many fake bishops that have tried their hand at politics and ended up having to sell their souls to the highest bidder.Make no mistake, this is all about money and desperation. Yes, politics of the belly is alive and kicking in Zambia.

[pullquote]we would like to invite all the so-called defectors to bring their membership cards to the secretariat as proof and we shall hold a farewell party for them[/pullquote]

After claiming to have met with president Lungu and other PF officials several months ago, Mr. Kamanga became famous for telling NAREP staff and officials that he was about to be appointed to diplomatic service in Malaysia. He was also good at promising a few gullible followers that if they went along with him they too would be appointed to the diplomatic service or as District Commissioners.

In keeping with our party values and principles and to show that we are different as NAREP, we would like to invite all the so-called defectors to bring their membership cards to the secretariat as proof and we shall hold a farewell party for them to demonstrate that we have no hard feelings. We however doubt that more than 10 genuine Party members will turn up but we will hold a party for those few anyway.

We respect the democratic rights of every one of our members but to support moves that injures on the spirit of democracy is not good for this country. We urge our members across the country to remain firm and united as we work together in strengthening our party structures at all levels.

  1. Its nice to see NAREP throw punches for once. The clean shaven looks are out, the gloves are off. This is the world of Zambian politics.

  2. And that announcement sure in which constituency in Solwezi can hold 400 members at once??? Be realistic in figures. Politics of lies

    • Well done NAREP! Invite them so that their claims are authenticated. Going this way will expose liars and as a nation we may start moving towards facts away from populist rhetoric that when politicians open their mouths they’ll have to think twice about being challenged for proof!

  3. Divorce ibaba. NAREP dream on. Bakusiyani chabe. You don’t even know how much support you had? Munali 200 people voted for you. Mandevu 150, Matero 167 Lusaka in general gave you over 1000 votes. You just disappointed your many members. No material, no money to campaign, no people skills, just good english with weired theories. Kolopa dot com. My defection with the entire Serenje Executive is next
