President Edgar Lungu has left Lusaka to open the Copperbelt Mining, Agriculture and Commercial show in Kitwe.
President Lungu departed for Kitwe aboard a Zambia Air Force (ZAF) plane from City Airport at 10:00hours local time.
Mr. Lungu is accompanied to Kitwe by Tourism and Arts Minister Jean Kapata, Special Assistant to the President for Political Affairs
Kaizer Zulu, Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda and new Patriotic Front (PF) member Richard Kapita, who is former UPND vice president and some senior government officials.
He was seen off by some Cabinet ministers and their deputies, defense chiefs, PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri, senior government and PF officials.
Mr. Lungu is expected back in Lusaka in the afternoon.
Copperbelt Mining, Agriculture and Commercial show opened its gates to the public on 27th May and will run up to 31st May 2015 under the theme “maximise development’.
