FAZ ban Mighty from Shinde

Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have been slapped with a six-home-match ban and ordered to play their homes game away from Mufulira.

The FAZ disciplinary committee moved swiftly on Friday following last Saturdays abandoned home game at Shinde Stadium against Zesco United following a riot after the visitors had taken a 31st minute lead through Winston Kalengo.

Zesco have been handed the three points and a 3-0 win while Mighty have also been fined K5000.00.

Mighty’s two assistant coaches Chewe Mulenga and Moses Kashimoto have also been handed a two-match touchline ban over the incident and fined K2000.00 each.

The news means Mighty will not play any home games at Shinde in 2015 until the 2016 season.

Mighty’s next home game is against Power Dynamos next weekend.

  1. Jealous stoopid useless testicle less FAZ! You really hate Mighty. What are you punishing them ten times for?. You grab points fine them and close their stadium yet it was Zesco who caused the abandonment. Mighty should appeal to FIFA like Morocco did. You will win the appeal. I will help you with the appeal cos I’m a lawyer and I ve got money.

  2. Comment:if it cant work inside try outside,go to fifa.if think faz haz shallow mind with full dust, corrupt elements, injustice.how can you grab point, shut the stadia and fine them.its in human.think twice before we contact fifa.
