Patriotic Front Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri has challenged UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to go ahead and sue the Times of Zambia for the story in which he is reported to have castigated Chieftainess Choongo for welcoming PF Secretary General Davies Chama.

Speaking to ZNBC in a walk in interview in Lusaka, the PF deputy secretary said that UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema should lead by example in promoting peace and unity.

Meanwhile, UPND members have petitioned party Secretary General Steven Katuka to take legal action against PF Secretary General Davies Chama, some media houses and individuals reporters for defaming party leader Hakainde Hichilema.

This follows stories carried by some media houses alleging that the UPND Leader castigated Chieftainess Choongo of Monze district for welcoming and interacting with Mr.Chama in Bemba.

Briefing journalists in Lusaka this morning, UPND Deputy Secretary General Captain Walusiku Lyambela said that the party membership has decided to petition Mr. Katuka to take legal action against Mr. Chama because they feel he is a great danger to national peace and stability.

She said that the actions of Mr. Chama and the media houses carrying certain stories are provocative and an abuse of the public media.

Captain Lyambela said that the party membership is ready to defend their Leader and put to an end the continued tormenting of Mr. Hichilema under the PF leadership.

She stated that the UPND membership feels their leader is being harassed by the PF Government.

    • Edgar and PF will do well to get rid of Mumbi and Chama. These two definitely belong to the mental asylum. I am glad to hear of the wise counsel from the Chitimukulu.

    • I see why the Mwine LuBemba is standing up. Check this out:
The most annoying chatterboxes in the whole of PF:
      1. Kambwili
      2. Chama
      3. Mumbi
      4. Frank Bwalya
      5. Sunday Chanda
      6. Amos Chanda
      7. Bishop Chomba

Is it a coincident that they all happen to be baBemba?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I am a muBemba too. But I think we have very few wise baBemba left in Politics. All our Ngoni cousins are on the sideline watching the baBemba burn themselves out. Chama wanted to drag the entire Bemba clan into this impending implosion but The Keeper of the Fire said, “…cool down your jets Davis the Weasel. It aint gonna happen.”

    • Mumbi is davies chama ‘ s fuc,k mate. So Chama is always under pressure to out perfom Mumbi ‘ s stupidity.

If Lungu want to regain the respect he deserves as a good leader geared to change PF’ s image out there . He should fire these two fuc,k mates including big mouth Kambwili. Sata listened and fired Kabimba and people celebrated including those out side PF.

Other wise PF is heade for doom .

      Viva UPND

  1. Mwaiche kutali twafuma, politicians can’t divide us. All tribes in Zambia sacrificed a lot for independence. No tribe is more Zambian. Only feeble minded politicians see tribe as a difference.

“There is only one superior tribe in zambia, that’s the Zambian Human race which is blind to province, regionalism or colour,” emphasised the Chitimukulu.

  2. i feel sorry for chama, while he is being hammered left, right and center, in comes our own phiri to say nothing but just add salt to injury.
chill my sister and just prepare for defense in the courts of law, that is if hh has what it takes to sue.

    • This “lady” without ear lobes Mumbi Phiri has the guts to say “UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema should lead by example in promoting peace and unity.” and he can better do this by keeping quiet while she and her boss Davies Chama keep insulting him and spreading lies? What irony! @ Mature good advice for her!

  3. “Speaking to ZNBC in a walk in interview in Lusaka, the PF deputy secretary said that UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema should lead by example in promoting peace and unity.”

  4. Why has HH developed cold feet. he promised to sue within 24 hrs but up to now nothing yet. He is inconsistent. A real man should live by his word

  5. HH won’t stoop low to the Davies & Mumbi characters, he has more things to focus on other than tribal remarks. It’s Mumbi & Chama are competing just to see who comes out first from the “Stupidest ever” marathon.

    • Bane its ba HH who issued a 24hrs ultimatum – so he should go ahead failure to which it will mean there is some truth in what Chama has said.

  6. Comment:
Mumbi can you talk some thing constructive for once. This lady is a chainama candidate who just talk without thinking. She belongs to stone age politics of confrontation.
There is vacuum where the brain was supposed to be. She is an embarrassment to women folk

    • I don’t agree, don’t attach the personality but respond to what she has said – ba HH should sue as per his ultimatum chapwa

  7. Ba UPND should stop issuing ultimatums, none of them actually materialize.PF might actually be in possession of the said conversation, hence Mumbi’s daring.

    • You need to take a longer ride in the cybersphere. You will find Chief Hamusonde refuting it. Chiefs are irate. You just need to keep it clean.

  8. So these are the pipo UPND fears in PF! kambwili, chama and mumbi. I believe Tongas hate pipo who challenge them. lungu feed these pipo well. what if later it was reviewed that HH used those words?

  9. Madam Mumbi, looks like the only politics you know is “one’s tribe”. Take heed of the tribal based politics counsel from Chief Chitimukulu. During UNIP era and MMD era, trbal politics were not heard of. Under PF, tribal politics are top on the agenda, why? For God’s sake, you are in power lead the way by avoiding these tribal politics. What example are we giving our young generation when it comes to tribes? Most of us are sick and tired of this tribal based politics.

    • “ONLY A TONGA SHOULD SUCCEED MAZOKA?” Were these words uttered by Chama, Kambwili, Frank, Sunday, or/mumbi? What about last elections voting pattern?

  10. ONLY PIPO THAT BONK EACH OTHER CAN EVEN be REMOTELY CLOSE IN STUPIDITY. THESE TWO IN THE PICTURE MUMBI AND DAVIES CHAMA ARE A DISGRACE TO HUMANITY.

GOD WHY DID U PUT THEM IN OUR ERA? PLEASE TAKE THEM TO WHEREEVER U DESIRE APART FROM ZAMBIA.

  11. But ichi chimukazi awe mwandi…..nothing u take away from tongas ..this z a self sustained group bane. U die with your envy n hate u dogs

  12. i beg to be collected these are not bembas but bemba speakers please
    . Kambwili tabwa
    2. Chama chishinga
    3. Mumbi bisa
    4. Frank Bwalya bisa
    5. Sunday Chanda ngumbo
    6. Amos Chanda aushi
    7. Bishop Chomba chishinga

  13. Foolish Mumbi Phiri have you not stopped smoking dagga. You dont care about HH suing coz its the tax payers who will pay for the legal bills. Just stup dont waste our money you guys have stolen enough have mercy on us. Any blogger that supports this nonsense needs their heads examined.

  14. @bullet you are 100%+1 correct. We have the telephone conversation of HH and chief which we will present in courts as evidence and all you defending him will be ashamed.

  15. akainde icilema knows that he said all such things. And he knows that the PF are having the recordings so he can’t dare go to court.
Some of you people speak as if you have 1000 voter’s card each. Don’t speak for the people, but for your own self. As for me I only have one card and my vote is for ECL.

Walusiku_Katuka to take legal action against Chama what a tribal battle!!!!!

  16. HH should just go ahead and sue since the 24 hrs ultimatum he issued is up. If he does not sue it just means he is scared the recording will be produced in court. PF if you rally have the recording, please play it over and over again next year on all media so that we insure there are no tribalists living. If you do not then the honorable thing for PF to do is get rid of Chama and Mumbi.

Walusiku_Katuka to take legal action against Chama what a tribal battle!!!!!

  18. LT reporters, ZNBC has stopped doing walk-in interviews, becuase if they did, opposition leaders would also have walked in, interviewed, and the interview aired. Just say in a “planned interview”, we shall understand because we already know
