As we reported earlier this week, Emmanuel Mayuka is now leaving French Ligue 2 club Metz with Egypt his next stop.
Egyptian daily Ahram reports today that Mayuka is on the verge of joining Zamalek.
“Mayuka will be Zamalek’s third new-signing in this winter transfer window after the signing of Ittihad of Alexandria fullback Ramzi Khaled and the return of Mahmoud ‘Shikabala’ Abdel-Razek,” Ahram reported on Friday.
The paper however does not disclose the terms of Mayuka’s pending move to the Cairo giants.
Mayuka joined the French Ligue 2 club this season from Southampton and has played ten games and scored two goals.
Emmanuel is just 24/25. Its too early for him to think of retirement. He should have come to a smaller club in the PSL where he can start rebuilding again. Chances are he will spend most of his time at zamalek on the bench.
Whoever is managing Mayuka is not doing a good job. You cannot just be moving a player like a wheel Burrow like that. Let him come back to Zambia and join teams like Power Dynamos, Zesco United or ZANACO if he is to regain his confidence and form. The fact that he has failed to tick even in French Ligue 2 means that he is far from regaining his form even after leaving Southampton.
correct, wish somebody close to him can give him this advice
This is what happens when lie about your age because you simply lying to yourself and the club dietian cannot prescibe the diet and workout …as he doesn’t know your true age. Thankfully your body itself cannot lie…if you legs give there is nothing you can do… Emmanuel go back to Warriors.
2 goals in ten division two matches for a striker is not very good. Mayuka needs to talk to Mbesuma to get some tips on how to make a comeback
He should have stayed at young boys cuz he was playing batter
It is called ambition but unfortunately it didn’t work out, it’s just age catching up.
Comment:true Mayuka boi walaipwishafye just come back and start rebuild again,,,,,
Your club is waiting for you Mayuka here in Zambia,,,,
Just come back and play in any zambian club. Your time is gone. No wonder you have no place in the national team. Wat a wasted future?
Sad Story, never expected this after 2012.,,,,,
A footballer’s shelf life is very short and the sell by date comes quicker if you fail to deliver. Mayuka is just another statistic on free fall. He is obviously edging close to home via Zamalek. Football is almost non existent in Egypt since the political tensions started. Maybe he should have checked with Kalaba why the latter refused to play at Zamalek before going to Mazembe. I wish him all the best and i hope Mayuka can realise soon rather than later about the end of the shining spotlight on him. Really sad for the young man.
