His last competitve game was on August 25 in a 1-0 away loss to Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Meanwhile, Mweene’s compatriot at Black Aces Collins Mbesuma was also in Cup action on Saturday and helped inspire them to the quarterfinals in a 2-0 win over Maritzburg United.

Mbesuma scored a 20th minute penalty to see them take a 1-0 half-time lead.

He was replaced in the 76th minute by forgotten Zambia midfielder Mukuka Mulenga.

  1. Tulamyeba Ba PF, its a matter of time Mweene will be back.
I don’t blame him, Sundowns has 4 international goalkeepers.

  2. I worship my parents. My Mom and Dad. Who’s given me life, who’s fed me, nourished me when I was sick, wiped away my tears and held me when I was emotionally torn and made sure through selfless acts that I live this speck of time happily. I can not worship a god who wish to turn son’s against their father, daughter against their mother. There is no evidence that god made me but there are records that my Mother gave birth to me. So yeah, I have a very good reason to worship my parents. No religion can ever convince me otherwise
