Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has applied to the Registrar of Societies to change the name of his political party from Democratic Front to United Democratic Front.

This was after the Supreme Court confirmed the de-registration of the Democratic Front.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the High Court decision to quash the stay of execution that had sought to allow Sampa enjoy his rights to continue running the DF.

But in his application to the Registrar of Societies on Friday, Mr Sampa has submitted that the party symbol and colours still remain the same.

    • POLITICS HAS ERODED OUR CULTURE…. AND SO HAVE THESE TRADITIONAL LEADERS THAT SEEK MEDIA PUBLICITY. Is it important for the public to see that Sampa knelt before the Mwata it is obvious and expected of any commoner in the Zambian tradition? Have these palaces now lost their importance to a level where any journalist just walks in and takes pictures? Or is the Mwata saying he ENDORSES Sampa?…… Kaya!

    • This is what happens when listen to your own voice too much, you start believing your own lies!!! Sampa lied to himself that he his so popular that if he leaves PF he would carry half of the Party with him, but IT DIDN’T HAPPEN.

Now where to Sampa? DF, oh sorry, that’s already taken, Ok I will make one up, UDF. Any volunteers to accompany me on this political suicide mission? Anybody? Going once, going twice, anybody? And the silence is deafening…..!

    • @”House Fly”. Even a housefly has the right to sit on your food from playing on cow dung. but do u just mind your own business when it does and continue eating your “cow-dunged food”? He has a right to form a party yes, we would ignore him if he were to just sit and mind his own business, but he wont, he will come and start trying to sell off that ka useless party to us. so he makes it our business.

    • To be honest, UD will form Government in 2021

Sampa, is just a smart man, who has the finesses and experience to run the nation.

Lungu stole the win , when majority voted MS to become the PF president.

      Just facts

      Thanks

    • Latest, uli Chimbwi waumfwa. It’s !diots like you who are likely to start confusion in the country using stup!d rumours such as the careless one you ve just posted. You are evil and senseless. Very childish.

  1. Depending on the spirit this was made…Miles needn’t form another political party. he would have done that later after Elections….anyway!

  2. A friend of a friend’s auntie’s cousin wants to register a Political Party which will be deregistered in two weeks. He wants to know if there is any possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU)with UPND?

  3. Sampa clear signs of not thinking things through ..if you did this before you wouldn’t have been in the position..if you do not plan;you plan to fail.

  4. the man has formed two political parties in a row and has been in two alliances already, could this mean he doesn’t brainstorm or is just naive (inexperienced) in these matters my advice is, sir take time to brainstorm especially that the first party u formed was a miscarriage.

  5. SAMPA IS JUST ONE DULL BEMBA WHO CAN’T EVEN PROPOUND ISSUES EVEN IF HE WERE TO BE ASKED TO DISCUSS THOSE ISSUE IN HIS MOTHER TONG. THE FACT THAT SAMPA CAN FORM UP TWO PARTIES WITHIN A RECORD SPACE OF TIME TELLS PEOPLE HOW UN THOUGHTFUL HE HAS BEEN ABOUT FORMING UP PARTIES.

  6. And then you fwantako the DF and make it UDF. After that you start puppering your legs before the chief hoping for sympathy. Sorry William
