Football Association of Zambia president Andrew Kamanga is dismayed by reports of guerilla warfare bubbling under by those sympathetic to the vanquished from the March 19 elections.

Kamanga told The Post newspaper on Thursday that his consultative approach to management should not be construed as a weakness.

“I wish to address those colleagues who lost elections to accept the results even those who won elections but are sympathetic of who those lost, I am not going to take kindly to interference,” Kamanga said.

“I have information that people are busy going round under the guise of impeaching this executive which has not flawed any constitutions.

“Anyone who feels they are above FAZ laws will be very surprised I will not hesitate to take action against those who interfering with the running of the game, even those who won elections but are sympathetic of who those lost I am not going to take kindly interference.

“The president has a lot of powers in the constitution but I don’t want to us to go to that level where I start using presidential powers.

“I would rather we continue on the consultative process which I think is the best way.

“My consultative approach should not be taken for being weak.

“It is quite unfortunate management stills differs.

“We need to continuously build unlike me sitting alone and applying article 28 of the constitution and say I am the president and I will do as I please, if anything that is more dictatorial.”

  1. So long as you are no bringing to public the wrong doing of the Galu regime …his followers still believe he is squeaky clean..hand over everthing to the ACC let them do what they want with it like what Fifa is doing.

    • Kamanga said, “We need to continuously build unlike me sitting alone and applying article 28 of the constitution and say I am the president and I will do as I please, if anything that is more dictatorial.”
I’m beginning to doubt this guy. How can he say this? When did following the law became dictatorial? Doesn`t Kamanga know that when you don`t do as the law allows you to, its cowardice and sign of weakness? I guess reality about the complexity and demands of the office of FAZ president is beginning to set in. Anyway, time will tell.

    • He was on Bola ya pa Zed yesterday and you could see he is confused. He has soooo many plans in his head he wont focus. He wants more cup competitions in the league! Why? when the idea all over the world is to have less competitions for quality to emerge? Even in the EPL there has been pressure to drop the League cup because league title and FA and continental competitions are too much.

    • @JayJay, your Kamanga is just like Edgar, impossing themselves in power, even without plan. Kamanga is a piece of lazy guy, it is almost a year since he hatefully took over FAZ and we have not seen anything… absolutely nothing.
Is there any player sold since your Simataa (MMD)/ Kamanga (PF) took over from progressive Kalusha? No player..

  2. Just discipline them so that others can learn from them. Muzungu anikonde will never stop. Especially Kazala who is still loyal to Kalusha. It’s like the dead tick sucking blood from the dead dog, they still think Kalusha will come back if they went on to impeach. Come on Andrew deal with all those trying to stand in your way, they are still bitter because others have no any other jobs to survive on.

  3. Kamanga just talking talking no action. Sort out the guys not supporting your leadership now.You are president man provide leadership.

  4. That z kazala behind this.as a chingola resident i kno the fact this guy has no integrity tho hr has the money.this is the guy hu at 40 has 25 children from fifferent women.discipline them.they are boasting that u are weak.

  5. Kamanga don’t waste your breathe warning them crack the with fury otherwise you’ll regret big time my Brother!

  6. For sure days are numbered. Kamanga now you have started feeling the same pressure you and your boy friend Simata Simata caused on Kalu admin. You remember how you guys brought so much confusions in FAZ just coz you guys wanted to overthrow Kalu but you failed at that time. Now the ball is in your hands, so show us your skills baba and stop yapping and threating people who definitely seen weakness in your leadership already.
