Information Minister Dr. Chishimba Kambwili when he addressed a mammoth rally at President’s Park in Kasama today. The Minister is in Northern Province to conduct a series of public rallies to explain government programmes.

Chief Government Spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili has urged Kalulushi residents not to vote for an independent parliamentary candidate in the August 11 polls.

And Dr. Kambwili has challenged senior party officials in Kalulushi working with the independent candidate to leave the PF.

Dr. Kambwili said the PF has credible candidates that will deliver development to the area.

He says PF candidates Kampamba Mulenga and Rashidah Mulenga were nominated by the party to stand as MP and mayor because the party has confidence in them.

Dr. Kambwili was speaking at Chibuluma grounds when he addressed a rally to drum up support for PF candidates contesting the August 11th general election.

And Dr. Kambwili has urged candidates in Kalulushi to work for the people.

He said PF is a party riding on pro poor policies adding that candidates in Kalulushi must embrace everyone regardless of their status.

Dr Kambwili also appealed to Kalulushi residents to vote for President Edgar Lungu.

The Kalulushi seat is being contested by PF ‘S Kapamba Mulenga, Independents Bernard Besa, Kalete Chikabale and Wilson Kasenge.

Others are Evaristo Mwalilino of UPND and Howard Sipemba of the Rainbow party.
