Information Minister Dr. Chishimba Kambwili when he addressed a mammoth rally at President’s Park in Kasama today. The Minister is in Northern Province to conduct a series of public rallies to explain government programmes.
Chief Government Spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili says it is folly for any opposition political party to claim that the PF Government has failed to deliver development to the people.

Dr Kambwili says the PF government has a vibrant agenda for Zambians which is already bearing fruit.

He says the development of infrastructure across the Country to improve people’s lives is unmatched.

Dr Kambwili said this is the reason why Zambians should give the party another mandate.

Dr Kambwili was speaking when he addressed a rally in Kitwe’s Chimwemwe Constituency to drum up support for PF candidates Mwenya Musenge, Executive Mayor Christoper Ka’ngombe and local government candidates.

He urged the electorates in Kitwe to vote for President Edgar Lungu and PF candidates in the August 11 polls.

And Mr. Musenge has asked Chimwemwe residents to vote for him to ensure that he completes development projects his currently implementing.

The PF says it has done enough ground work to warrant a first round victory in the general election.

And PF deputy chairperson for Elections Kelvin Fube says victory is certain because people have bought into the party’s manifesto.

Mr Fube says the opposition parties are failing to organise people in Northern and other provinces.

He was speaking to ZNBC in an interview in Lusaka.

      THAT’S OVER FINSISH!!!!!!!!

    • I know right, you can cheat the Zambian people but numbers don’t lie. Look at Zimbabwe now asking for money from the IMF, World Bank etc.

    • Does this f0olish guy know that according to the latest Global Hunger Index ranking , Zambia is now ranked the third hungriest nation in the world? Shame on him.

    • HMMMM!! ABENA CHISHIMBA BAUME. HE HAS MORE CROWD THAN THE UPND PRESIDENT GANNERS IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE. WHAT MORE WHEN ECL HOLDS ANOTHER ONE THERE!

    • Agony is bus campaigning for others in other cocentuences thinking you are very popular, alas when results tricking in you find yourself out and those fellew aspiring MPs you wr campaigning still in!!

This is what will happen to this chikaallaa baboon…the young man mayor aspirant he has failed to reconcile with is busy decampaning him for his arrogance while he is busy taking his ugly face all over the places!!

Wait, we will teach u a lesson thr the ballot, we will retire you back to your wife in the UK!!

    • Have not seen pictures of ECL’s Kasama rally today, was it a flop? The one shown above is for the one old rally.

With PF when it is a success pictures are all over and if it is a flop they will keep quiet-can’t you really see they stopped showing Ba Inonge’s rallies in pictures?

    • What is that Kelvin Fube? Where is PF manifesto, what’s wrong with original manifesto. I know the 10 points, and UPND manifesto.

  2. PF will be in for shock on the 11th, don’t be deceived by the huge numbers of children attending your rallies to watch JK and his friends.

And development does not end at building roads, it includes affordable food, schools, medical care, clean cities, respect for human rights, etc.

My prediction is that in the first round, PF 31% and UPND 42%….. round 2, PF 40% and UPND 60%

    • And earning the money to pay for it!

This PF and Lungu have FAILED TO MANAGE THE ECONOMY and are leaving the HUGE DEBT of the cost of the “developments” to be paid by our children.

Five more tests of this insanity will make Zambia a second Zimbabwe!

    • @ Mwense we have no food on the table, but great we have a road, to get to a job we don’t have, and remain with no money as per the PF slogan. #Common sense is not common smh.

    • This Kabwili guy has just been instructed by his boss to be following GBM wherever he goes to try undo the damage-can’t you see he has been to all the towns GBM visited on the Copperbelt?

We hope the people of Luanshya teaches this pompous good for nothing man a lesson, he pretends he knows a lot when all about him is tribal-why does’t he go to places like Southern or North-Western, reason, balipotaa!!

And if he lost, the innocent young man he called akakukubiti would have the last laugh!

  3. It was good to travel in Zambia from November 2015 to January 2016.
One cannot deny the visible fact that PF has done very well with infrastructure development across Zambia.
Given another five years, and the same momentum, Zambia will look more modern than it has in its recent past history.

After the roads, Zambia needs to look at decent housing, the kind KK and UNIP had embarked on, but abandoned in the wake of challenging economic and political developments of the 90s. We need to rid ourselves of the shanty compounds. They are neither urban nor rural villages. They are a total chaos. Developing well ordered suburbs will uplift our people’s lives.

    • What you have not been told is that these roads have cost the country US$2,000,000 per km instead of the normal US$470,000 per km? Consequently Edgar and Kambwili have become so wealthy over night. They have also participated in the looting at the black mountain with Sharwaz, Yaluma and Musukwa!

    • @4.1 CONSTRUCTING A ROAD WHERE EVEN A DUMPER TRUCK IS NOT MANUFACTURED IN THAT GIVEN COUNTRY IS VERY EXPENSIVE. JUST IN CASE YOU ARE SO IGNORANT- ALL THE CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY AND OTHER MATERIALS IN ZAMBIA ARE IMPORTED. MEANING SHIPPED FROM CHINA. AND IF YOU THINK A ROAD IS GOING TO BE CHEAP, THERE’S REALLY TERRIBLY SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR BRAINS AND NEED TO QUICKLY BE EXAMINED BY BOTH A BRAIN SURGION AND A PSYCHATRIST. AS AT NOW WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS CONNECTING ZAMBIA’S TOWNS AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES WITH PROPER RAIL AND ROAD NETWORKS. THE MORE CIVIL ENGINEERING COMPANIES ZAMBIA WILL HAVE, EVENTUALLY, THE CHEAPER IT WILL BE TO CONSTRUCT A ROAD OR OTHER THINGS IN THE PRESENCE OF POWER EQUIPMENT MACHINERY AND TOOLS MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES.

  4. I for one am voting for PF… Atleast i have seen with my own eyes and i have experienced the development. There are roads i NEVER thought they will be done in my lifetime but they are, what more can i ask for? Now i can drive from my yard to the office completely dust free.. I will try HH in 2021.

    • THE LAST TIME I VISITED ZAMBIA WAS IN 2009. TRAVELING FROM AND BACK TO LUSAKA ON MANY ZAMBIA’S ROADS WHERE A NIGHTMARE AND REGRETABLE. I HAVE HEARD AND SEEN IN PICTURES THAT MANSA TO LUWINGU TO MPOROKOSO (LUNTE) AND MANY MORE ROAD HAVE BEEN TARRED, THOUGH IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE IT. I TRAVELED FROM MANSA TO LUNTE AND IT TOOK THE WHOLE DAY OF TRAVELING ON THE BUS. THE JOURNEY WAS SO SLOW DUE TO THE SLIPPERY DUST (NOT WET MUD) IN AUGUST THE MAXIMUM SPEED OF A BUS WAS BETWEEN 30 AND 40 40 KM/HOUR. LONG BEFORE THE JOURNEY FINISHED WE WERE ALL LOOKING LIKE ZOMBIES DUE TO DUST. SO, FOR ME TO HEAR THAT THOSE ROADS ARE NOW TARRED- THAT WOULD PROMPT ME TO VOTE FOR PF WITH NO SECOND THOUGHT

  5. THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA HAVE ALREADY MADE UP THIER MINDS WHO THE BETTER CANDIDATE IS. AT THIS POINT ITS ALL ABOUT TURN OUT. LUNGUS OWN FAILING SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. IF WE GET A HUGE TURN OUT LUNGU IS GONE BYE BYE. THATS OVER FINSISH!!!!!

    • @ Loadist, that depends on where that huge turn out happens. Lungu almost lost in 2015 by-election due to low turn out in PF strongholds and very high turn out in UPND strongholds especially Southern. Suppose there is huge turnout in PF strongholds too,do you expect the result to be the same as last year or more votes for PF given that the quarrels that had gripped the PF that time are not there and Lungu now has traveled countrywide with more prominent people backing him from almost all regions? High turn out which is common at general elections may just prove a boon for Edgar!

  6. ..Nawakwi had already summed it up….’development starts with the food on the table….you build modern airports, universities modern police headquarters…meanwhile your citizens barely or hardly have three square meals a day…85% youth are unemployed….contracts to build the very infrastructure are all done by foreign companies syphoning all the monies out…
..anyone even me would build anything if I’m at liberty to recklessly borrow money at will without a thot….the difficult and major part of the ‘exam’ is to raise and maintain the standard of living for the citizens while development is going on…….

  7. Pf hs done a lot tht cn only b seen by christians nt satanist who cnt see whts gud n bad.who cnt see de impotance of a good road, hospitals and skulz.Pf buld roads ati a we going to eat road?Thts why people are nt siding wit u bcoz people hve seen de development thy hve never see in short period.wedah u say tht Pf hs done nothing, people ar seeing whts on de ground n people knw all yo lies bakolwe.

    • I love how Christianity is being used in Zambia by political parties to show that some are chosen. So we should as a people suffer, even when we are being exploited at others expense while they sleep peacefully with basic needs that 50% do not have access to. So that $10BN borrowed already now means we have roads, schools, and hospitals (so PF have now revamped the UTH right) or any other across the country. Education is now accessible by all Zambians, we have clean water and electricity now?? @Talkmore is that the development you mention?

  8. mwanya ba PF mwalemona Ati fwe ma zambia twalipwalala nomba just try to rig we will chase you like thieves atase Ati twalabomba mwali kwi ba stupid

  9. I don’t understand this excitement about development on just roads. To put it plainly why have government ministers and ministries got positions if all you can show is road development. So are we saying to develop Zambia we have to do one thing at a time over a 5 year period? There is no budget to do other things ie delegate to your ministries, but you borrow on the premise of ‘infrastructure’. In the 5 year period you are talking about other Presidents have been busy improving the lives of their people on the continent. Therefore no leniency will be shown to PF, all in the name of ECL stating at a rally “MMD had more than 1 term so why not give us a second” really, dude must me joking.

  10. Those who are eating money thru the PF govt will votes for their stomachs and Lungu. Those who have not benefitted from Lungu’s partronage should vote for change and that change is HH & UPND Team.

  11. Political speech that bears no fruit. PF in reality is broke and macroeconomics and microeconomics explains it. PF came in power they were in debt, current over spending and borrowing put them in more debt. Factors are calculating Nominal GDP and Real Gross Domestic Product (real GDP). The difference between nominal and real values is that real values are adjusted for inflation, while nominal values are not. As a result, nominal GDP will often appear higher than real GDP.

Example: Suppose we wish to calculate the real GDP for the year 2001 in terms of 1996 dollars. The value for 1996 price deflator is 100 and the 2001 price deflator is 115. The 2001 GDP in nominal terms is $10 trillion dollars. Then: Real GDP year 2001 in 1996 dollars =$10 trillion × (100 / 115) = $8.6 trillion

  12. kambwili, if you have developed Zambia, then why have you brought violence? i have not see development where I come from.

  13. @4.2 Peter, it appears you are just another PF retard! The cost of Zambian roads at US$2,000,000 per km instead of US$470,000 per km can only be justified by thieves like you!

  14. Fube others are failing to oraginise rallies in Northern province which others.PF has failed to organise rallies in Western,Southern,North Western and Central Province.
We saw the pictures of UPND rallies in Eastern,Luapula,Muchinga and Nprthern provinces.
If going by rallies then UPND has won but rallies do not matter bwana.
I have observed that PF rallies are full of children and the response from the audience is not responding to the message.
It is just matter of weeks now.

  15. Am enjoying the watermelon story. Green outside but red inside. To tell the truth people are living in poverty and only few of us who are really enjoying the roads. I fail to understand why PF could think they can bounce back using a road and neglecting all other areas. Mwamuna ni pamala. Without food and money in your pockets bwana, all things are messed up. Tampers are always high in most homes. Happiness starts with food, clothes and shelter which all need money from business and work. PF has failed to provide employment or even just an enabling environment for business.

  16. Massive development?!

Imagine a father who moves his family from Kalikiliki or Chawama or Zambia compound to a 15 bedrooms $7m mansion in Kabulonga or Chudleigh and also buys each of the eight children two Mercedes cars each, hires three maids for the madam, furnished each master bedroom with Saudi House luxuries…..and all this from loans.

And he brags to his former neighbours that he has developed.
