    • The only losers in Thursdays election are Zambians hovever wins.
If it is PF it means more of mediocrity and misery for the majority of Zambians and if it is UPND it’s more of PF through GBM miles scott sichinga mulenga and a spice of MMD courtesy of nevers.
Its a never ending cycle of opportunists. Typical of African elections perpetuating poverty. Sometimes you wonder who is fooling who?

    • 1 day 2 go! Politics teyabaice iyoo – One cannot become president by writing to the UN with election observers already in the country….Ba Sunny Chintombwa, tukose…!

    • I remember in physics 19 years ago i learnt about a vector and a scaler quantity. PF and its minions are scaler quantities. No direction. Constitution says holiday yet they have not even read the constitution which they signed as law recently. Constitution is clear that voting day shall be holiday.

  2. So let us vote peacefully with good turn out. Given that both PF and UPND are popular, the losing candidate should concede defeat gracefully and congratulate the winner. Zambia shall have voted for their president, given our transparent ECZ

  3. Howz it declared a public holiday when this is provided for under the current amended constitution. Have people read the Constitution?

  4. i thought he meant Friday ataaseee, its common sense who can work on polling day. Do something about friday iweeeee

  5. You should have also declared Wednesday a half working day. some of us are voting in our villages and its about 2 days on the road.in that case , the government should provide choppers to take us because its impossible to travel the same day and cast a vote.

  6. I like No4 ……How does one say Thursday has been declared a public holiday? Can independence day or christmas be declared a public holiday in Zambia today? These are well known holidays. thursday is in the constitution that the day of voting shall be a holiday.

  7. Let us show Africa that we a mature democracy. Lets not have any violence during these elections. Let us do everything peacefully and lets us vote with the future in mind

  8. This man is a fool. We thought he would talk about the unproductivity that will be in offices and declare wednesday and friday holidays. I hope the violent cadres can block the roads to my work place on these two days.

  9. God bless you Dr. Msiska and team Thank you for working hard for Zambia! We need all your visionary leadership.

  10. Was there need for a declaration?
    Its already a constitutional decree
Anyway, he must have had nothing to do in the office

  11. Why do you need to declare a holiday for voting…simply open early and close late…why do you like promoting laziness?

    • Uyu Chi colour always with negative energy. Kanye amafi nangu try to masturbate to release that anger you have mukongo wanoko1

    • Yes Indeed, this is laziness. Some of will vote but go back to making money so that we don’t care who really wins. Infact the more dull the winner of the presidential election, the more money we shall make because we are better thinkers and strategists.

  12. Zambians must begin to understand that a serious negotiator as president is what is required not those who think winning elections is the end. Running an economy is about numbers, serious numbers that are intertwined, one should not easily get lost.
