Stylish Roan United thumped Mining Rangers 3-0 in Sunday’s FAZ Division One Zone Two match in Kitwe to move to within three points of leaders Konkola Blades.
Perry Sinkala, Lyson Sikaonga and Espe Kasongo scored for Roan in this Week 21 tie played at Garden Park Stadium.
Roan sits on 38 points, three behind Konkola.
Konkola stayed top after forcing a goalless draw away at ZNS Lwamfumu in Mansa.
However, Konkola’s lead was cut from three to one point by second placed Kitwe United who beat Indeni 1-0 in Ndola at the weekend.
Forward Emmanuel Chabula scored the goal for Kitwe.
The Buchi Boys have 40 points after 21 matches played.
On the other hand, Indeni remain stuck on 34 points after losing their second consecutive match.
