Stylish Roan United striker Lyson Sikaonga has declared that he wants to score at least 26 goals this season.

Sikaonga is the leading scorer in the 2016 FAZ Division One Zone Two with 17 goals after 22 matches.

The former Nchanga Rangers goal-poacher has a challenge of scoring nine goals in the remaining eight matches to meet his target.

“God has blessed me this season. I am also putting in more efforts in training that is why I am scoring regularly,” Sikaonga said.

“With God by my side I want to score 26 goals. It is my duty as a striker to score goals for my club,” he said.

Sikaonga hopes his goals will help the Luanshya side to winning promotion to the Super Division this term.

“These goals I am scoring will only be meaningful if we win promotion. We have chances of winning promotion,” he said.

Sikaonga added:”Things we will be better at Roan if we win promotion this year.”

Roan are third on the table with 41 points, two behind leaders Kitwe United after 22 matches played.
