    • The State visit is expected to strengthen the existing good political, economic and social relations underpinned by strong historical ties dating back from the years of the struggle against apartheid and colonialism.

this would have remained as it will be after going there.. sheer waist of our resources!!

    • Two kleptocracts and sex maniacs embracing each other. Nothing good will come out of Zuma and Lungu comparing the lengths of their spears.

    • Chapona (Chagwa) has proved beyond reasonable doubt that the man has no vision. You wonder why we Zambians are so unlucky to have such a vision less man as head of state. At the time when the country’s economy is at free fall, the man has found flying to be his hobby

    • “Ukululumba Ba Pena”
He’s short visit to Zambia has ended, I bet his coming back in three days time to collect his allowances, refuel the presidential jet and invite himself to some other country.

    • These two guys have got a few things in common. They are all morally corrupt, they all pretend to be caring about the poor when in the actual fact they only care about their stomachs, they are thieves and lastly they all have very loose zips and their ‘sticks’ are always leaking dirty super glue.

  1. Kaponya it’s not funny just respect the head of state regardless of your feelings towards him. Am sure you don’t respect your parents and truth be told get off your dad’s bedroom. You’re a grown up person.

    • Kapuli is wasting taxpayers money, he has to earn the respect. Being head of state is not not enough to earn respect, He has to do the right thing. These irrelevant trips add no value to the Zambian people.

    • Since when was he “head of state”??????

You cannot call a thief the “legally rightful owner” of stolen property!

He rigged the elections, what he deserves is a JAIL SENTENCE, not respect!

    • Dokotor,
Prove that the playing field was not even. Your Hakaivotela Humwine had 14 days to prove his case but wasted time playing a legal expert.

  2. SOMEBODY WILL CHOCK IN THEIR VOMIT WITH ENVY. THERE IS FOUR MORE YEARS OF ECL’S ACTIVITIES COMING UP THIS LT STREAM… IM LOVING THIS, ALL THE WAY TO 2021

    • EVEN WHEN LUNGU IS IN RSA, UPND HAS BE BLAMED OR SHAMED …. FOR WHAT? TELL PEOPLE HIS VIOSION RATHER THAN DEMONISING HIS OPPONENTS AS A WAY KEEPING HIM IN POWER. ZAMBIANS ARE NOT AS DUMPB AS PF TAKES THEM TO BE ….

    • ECL can’t talk to people who are full of themselves likes UPND cadres. Why is HH so desperate to become president? I Guess is he is not as rich as he makes people believe.
      Winangu azadwala shiki polomya

  3. After hoodwinking Zambian as a Christian by going to Church with cameras the guy is now being possessed with going for state dinners in other Countries.

  4. The reporting should be polished up. This is not only full of redudancy its full of unneccessary adverbs: The State visit is expected to strengthen the existing good political, economic and social relations underpinned by strong historical ties dating back from the years of the struggle against apartheid and colonialism.

  5. Six(6) foreign trips in the last six(6) weeks! My foot! I do not think even any US secretary of state has ever travelled so often in the same period. If he had cut these trips by half those disabled people who were shown on MUVI TV a few days ago demanding their payments could have been sorted out financially.

    • It is an exercise in accumulation of foreign trip allowances at $75,000 a pop. It has nothing to do with selling Zambia or cutting deals. Look at the zero outcomes from Saudi Arabia.

  6. LOL, As the saying goes,’ Birds of a feather flow together’.

Zuma knowingly abrogated the Country’s constitution which he swore to uphold and protect, by embezzling £15m of public funds meant for developmental purposes. He admitted, though he wanted to use ignorance as his defense, and expected the World to sympathize with him and believe he acted “in good faith”. DUMB.

Lungu knowingly abrogated the Country’s constitution which he swore to uphold and protect, amid a court case, by receiving a bribe from public funds which elevated his net worth to K23 Million in less than 18 months . But he wanted the Country to look the other way and forget about it, by pretending to be ‘holier than thou’, humble and by deflecting everybody’s attention to opposition. DUMBER.

    Ifikopo fibili…

    • Lungu should face the courts on treason charges – one day. There have to be comebacks for abrogating the Constitution.

  7. Hey chaps – Zuma’s personality or behavior should not affect the strong trade and historical ties between the two countries. ECL is a guest of South Africa and not Zuma. Think you unpatriotic souls.

  8. Really laughable this utterly LAZY Bum Edgar, his MMD Finance Minister is busy mopping up trying to refinance debt as they have chewed everything everything and he is in RSA high fiving everyone including the incompete Zuma…he is likened to a husband who treats prostitutes in hotels with expensive drinks yet they is nothing to eat at home.

    • You are 100% right, wished more people would look at things as you do, sadly more cadres are uneducated to atleast know that Edger Lungu is worthless, let a lone be our president.

    • How funny and Ironic Down to Earth my foot! chap is always in the air….. you are the sort of people that get sprayed doom for healing

    • @Babylon System, visionless f00ls like you are what is wrong with Zambia. You have no shame to even write that nonsense while many people in Zambia are suffering.

    • Zambians will not EAT humility. I would rather have a president who is not “humble” but he’s getting the job done. You can be humble but lazy and ineffective. Humility alone is not enough. You have to be humble and hard working. This lazy fellow Lungu exhibits more laziness than anything else. In fact he has fake humility, and real laziness. Lastly, he displays no evidence that he knows what he’s doing, or that he has a solid vision for Zambia. Zero.

  9. Useless, always on the plane travelling, meanwhile he is doing nothing at home for the poor majority of the population, only looting from the loans we can’t even pay back.

  10. Lungu accompanied by “numerous Ministers” ? Why not give the names of the Ministers? These Ministers are using taxpayers money so the Zambian public needs to know the size of the delegation and which Ministers are with Lungu. Do these Ministers include Mwanakatwe and Luo who should not be Ministers becoz they lost their Parliamentary Seats recently? If these two Ministers are party of the delegation then Lungu has just committed another illegal Act after keeping Ministers in their posts when Parliament was dissolved last February 2016.

  11. People were dancing and celebrating in August. I guess this is what they were anticipating. This is the PF, an African political party. Remember, the population of Zambia has grown to a point were the country cannot survive on instincts anymore like in the past. Education is and must always be a top priority if we ever want to stand a chance of survival as a functioning republic of Zambia. ECL you can only learn what you should not do from Museveni, Mugabe, Dos Santos, Kabila and Zuma. What does it need to impeach a president in Zambia? Can you just go away in peace. Please go away!

    • Jealousy of what? Could you elaborate please? I’m not a politician (no yet) but, I find it hard to understand your or reason through you observation. BTW PF ware planning to borrow more. Did you mean that by any chance?

    • Idi0ta. We’re not all UPND cadres but just concerned citizens who see that this guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. Are you that dumb not to realize that Lungu has no solid vision for the country? He told you a few weeks ago that his ministers had already started to loot the national coffers. And he hasn’t put any of those ministers behind bars. The guy is evidently lazy, has no idea how to run a country, has no understanding of world politics, or the way the global economy works. While other countries around us are striving to develop, this guy is busy aimlessly flying all over the place — wasting the nation’s meager resources. If we’re jealous, then we’re jealous of other nations that have competent leaders, such as Tanzania. I would choose Magufuli any day over this lazy fellow…

  12. You are as good as the company you flock with. Look at Zuma’s smile. Seems happy that the congregation of Africa’s most despicable leaders is growing with the addition of this tall drunkard to the club.

    • @19 Wantanshi

Yes, indeed; and somewhat akin to what the ancients had once alluded to: – show me your company and I will tell you your character!

  13. Allowance yangena nafuti. meanwhile the same dull pf cadres that voted for this silly man are busy demonstrating in the streets. Demonstrating nanjala with begging shoes which are open at the front kikiki. HH warned you.

  14. Good its towards agenda 2063 “The Africa We Want”. For Zambia’s trades and international exposure The massive resources presented by South Africa are useful to ride on but always get a win win situation in those FTA agreement

When MUSHOL0ZI he travels to the Americas, brics,eu and pacific he often carries and sells the entire Southern Africa just like NIGERIA up there is resourceful to the West

Good to SEE JACOB ZUMA and Lungu engaged in serious National Business

SOUTHERN Africa CAN BE THE CHINA WORKSHOPS FOR THE WORLD IF THAT CONTINUES

  15. SA GLOBAL SHARE IS 5% AND NIGERIA 6% IF WELL ALIGNED COULD RIDE ON AND INCREASE THAT SHARE CURRENTLY WE ARE NOT EVEN IN AFRICAN TOP 10 SOURCE OF GROWTH AND LOOK POSSITIVE MEETING THEN

  16. Breaker, that’s good ba president, I have to agree I’m pretty impressed with your work speed, four months as president and things seem to be rolling in the right direction, cut off your salary into two, ground work in search of fuel in Zambia,a hydro electric plant undrway and farming doubled it’s input…soldier on president.we are watching you and let these haters talk..you need them,if you found out that you didn’t have any, then you should be very worried,we still wait for the solar project coach..good luck and god speed.
im breaker and I approve this message

  17. UPNDs we know that you are in LOVE with Changwa but you should give him chance to work. He is in South working, we all love him but he should be given space to work. You are choking him with your love. Do not worry he won’t stay in SA it’s just 3 days or rather 2 and half days and he will be back. Just prepare to welcome His Excellence the President of the Republic of Zambia none than ECL period.

  18. @ Buck Teeth Lungu, Treason charges for travelling? Have you ever asked yourselves why your HH wanted to be a president no matter what it takes? Of which he is still fighting to be. It is because of the same allowances you are accusing Lungu of, so even if it is not Lungu who ever will be a president will have to travel and earn allowances it is part of the agreement for the president or let say government’s policy and it is always budgeted for, so if you are sleeping without food at your home no one will give you that money it should save the intended purpose.
Oh these under-fives we are tired of teaching you how the government operates.

  19. Good points NAPTHALI. Zambia is not an island. South Africa is very important to the whole of Africa and vise versa. These two presidents are REPRESENTATIVES of the people of the two countries. Its not personal. There’s UNITED States of America, NATO, EU, UNITED Kingdom, but we in Africa dismantled the EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY because of our TRIBALISM. The president’s office has a job description and conditions and a salary, just as it is anywhere else in the world. So, until he leaves office Mr Lungu has those rights and privileges. Let those who are able, advise him how best to represent Zambians’ interests.

    • Well thought out my brother. they think developing a country means permanently confined in state house. This man is looking for Zambia’s fortunes and these fortunes cannot always be found within this country, after all we are not an island. Be sober!

  20. YOU have no huge resources to run international relations so you need to align as you create capacity its cheaper and cost effective

At least ZUMA and SA can charter the planes and marshal forums and economic promotions monthly but for Us its wiser to grow slowly and conserve not to blow the Budget through the name of international relations

The approach to align and work with EU,US,BRICS,SA and similar economic blocs is what is cost efective
