Share

Patriotic Front-PF violence has continued to manifest with rival camps in Eastern Province exchanging punches.

Media reports from Chipata indicate that the punches of fury flew in Chipata just after the arrival of PF Secretary General Davies Mwila.

The cadres broke a gate at Eastern Comfort Lodge where the party had organized the meeting.
Police in riot gear was called to calm down the situation.

Eastern Province PF is divided with others calling for elections suggesting that all the Provincial committee members are merely appointed.

However, Mr. Mwila who is in the Province on a mobilization tour of PF structure in all the districts has said that there will be no elections in Eastern Province.

  1. PF and election issues is really getting out of hands. Mwila, now it is time to show case your leadership qualities. RB is the man watching from the terraces.

    • Mwila can’t encourage elections. He just lost one in Chipili recently. He is still nursing the pain of losing. PF members are expecting too much from him. Infact, even Mwila himself can’t win the SG position if elections were to be held.

  2. With the reported violence in Eastern Province by the PF, it remains to be seen if Tayali will petition the Registrar of Societies to have PF deregistered.

  3. Chilufya Tayali can you now add PF on your list of Parties ear-marked or pre-marked for deregitration to the registra of societies-

  4. FWEBENE TAWAKWATA AMANO.DO YOU KNOW WHAT WARRANTS A PARTY TO BE DEREGISTERED?TAYALI IS NOT LIKE YOU BRAIN FULL OF MUD WATER.GO BACK TO SCHOOL MY DEAR

  5. Whether someone believes or not, something is seriously wrong with PF. Don’t bury heads in the sand with a pretence that all is well, divided you fall united you stand. The party has been hijacked period.

  6. It’s either they swallow us or we swallow them. PF has been sold and they have come with there own MMD thinking. We kicked them out of power because they were not for the people and what’s so special about them this time

  7. Davis Mwila is not ideal CEO of ruling party or any party. President Lungu must act now by putting a unifying person as SG. Mwila has failed!

  8. The problem is that the merger between PF and MMD is a Reverse Takeover. RB has engineered quietly an MMD takeover of the PF. If u look at Ministers appointed by Lungu to Cabinet u will observe that MMD has taken a lion’s share of these Senior appointments in the PF Govt. Crucial Ministries have been assigned to MMD Members. Old members of the old PF feel alienated and demotivated by their Boss Lungu while RB has positioned his MMD Members in niche positions. MMD has got a fantastic deal out of the Alliance between MMD and PF. Long standing members of PF feel betrayed by Chagwa Lungu and some of us feel unwanted and alienated by Lungu. The MMD domination of the PF govt is uncomfortable to old members of PF and should be attended to b4 there is chaos in PF. Lungu will be foolish to…

  9. SO IT APPEARS CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI IS MORE POPULAR THAN THE UPPER-MWAMBAS OF PF THOUGHT. THE SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED AND ” THE CK WING OF PF” IS BORN. NOW WE HAVE A “LUNGU/RB WING”VS ” CK (TRUE GREEN)WING. LETS SEE WHO ULTIMATELY WINS. CK AND THE TRUE GREENS CARRY THE GRASS ROOTS SUPPORT,WHERE AS LUNGU/RB HAVE MONEY AND STATE MACHINERY.

    • Loadist lungu is,a 1000 steps ahead of chimbwili.he cant be outsmarted.just ask mmembe.am not a pf supporter nor a fan of either men.bt i can tell u dat chimbwili is an empty tin…

  10. Tulefwaya kambwili.Ba inonge don’t respect cadres. She never won anything but enjoying good fruits from PF cadres who campaigned. How do u lose in your constituency?Lungu should be very careful.I know mama can be trusted but can’t help the party to grow.Let’s ku conversion pantu confusions tayapwe.PF members can’t be chased in markets twakana.Tulecinja leadership

  11. Tulefwaya kambwili.Ba inonge don’t respect cadres. She never won nothing but enjoying good fruits from PF cadres who campaigned. How do u lose in your constituency?Lungu should be very careful.I know mama can be trusted but can’t help the party to grow.Let’s go ku conversion pantu confusions tayapwe.PF members can’t be chased in markets twakana.Tulecinja leadership.Change is coming PF teinobe

  12. lungu is a problem why is he quite he must act immediately
and make move on the right channel not jst busy attacking old member
    viva CK

  13. HE Edgar Lungu u think of those pipo who pushed PF to where if is today. South Africa and Zimbabwe has respect for such pipo. Why did mwila resign as deputy minister?

  14. we will not allow pf to be hijacked by RB guys.As much as we appreciate their support for pf. There are people who suffered for Pf DURING Sata’s time.
People in pf like JEAN KAPATA listen to others also.CK somehow could be right.
At the rate things are going,we won’t be shocked to hear that CK has been suspended.
CK campaigned on the CB for lungu that MUTATI,DORA,MULUSA and other MMD chaps the so called ba Katyetye mwenda mwalimwa.CK is the man.Very courageous and no fear.

  15. And you call this ma rubbish pf as a party in office. No wonder Zambia is sinking every day . chipantepante type of leadership. Foolish pf and all its followers.

  16. For all these guys who are overwhelmingly supporting CK, you have no issue with the fact that he might have been involved in mass corruption considering what recently came to light on the assets he has accumulated in a short time (real estate and motor vehicles?). Yes, I are aware that is common practice for our leaders to engage in corruption and unfortunate that we have come accept this. To let someone into power whom it is public knowledge that has stolen public funds will be sending a very bad signal. We would have ourselves to blame if such a character loots our treasury completely.
