It wasn’t a great weekend for Zambia’s South Africa PSL-based stars with less than eight games left before the South African season comes to a close.

Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was in goals for Sundowns on Saturday in their 2-1 Gauteng derby loss away to Kaizer Chiefs.
It was the Zambia number one’s 5th PSL appearance this season.
Chiefs and Sundowns are 2nd (39 points, 22 games) and 5th (18 games, 34 points) respectively.

Midfielder Salulani Phiri played the full 90 minutes for 7th placed Polokwane City in Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat against number 12 side Bloemfontein Celtic.
It was the ex-Zanaco utility players’ 4th PSL appearance since he moved to South Africa in January.

Midfielder Roderick Kabwe continues to enjoy great form at Ajax Cape Town.
Kabwe on Saturday scored his 2nd goal from 7 games since his move from Zanaco in January.
However, Kabwe was on the losing side as the struggling 4th from bottom side slump continued with a 2-1 away loss at 8th placed Maritzburg United.
